Now that she finally reveals the truth, Chona is left with no choice but to introduce Red to Chester's family. Not keen on the idea, Chona comes up with ridiculous excuses, stalling Chester's plan of meeting their son.

Red gets into a minor accident while bonding with his father for the first time at the Estero's mansion. Chona notices the bruise on Red's forehead, making her doubt Chester's capacity as a father and hinders him from visiting their son. This does not sit well with Auntie Patty (Carla Martinez), prompting her to do whatever it takes to get her grandson back.

After the unfortunate closing of OUR Bar, Chona, Red, and the drag mumshies struggle to look for a new home. Luckily, BG comes to their rescue. Meanwhile, Chester's loyalty towards his antagonistic mother is put into question.

At this point, the weight of the world is on Chona's shoulders. As everything seems to be falling apart, Chona steps up and fights for the family she chooses.
