Oh My Grad

During show production, MING-CHI proposes to MAN-MAN in front of onlookers. MAN-MAN accepts his proposal and even suggests him to become her assistant. TO FU brings up the topic of closing down HK Brilliance. MING-CHI feels regrettable, while MING-HANG agrees to closing down. MING-CHI goes to the farm to see CHI-MO, who suggests letting him take over the institute. MING-CHI admits he is not a good principal. MING-CHI goes to see MING-HANG and brings up the topic of changing management of HK Brilliance. MING-HANG reckons HK Brilliance is a loss-making business and is not interested. CHUN-KEUNG is unemployed and hopelessly sad. CHUN-KEUNG’s ex-employer POK-MAN finds her and asks for her help in monitoring his son TAK-WAH and encouraging him to complete his studies. CHUN-KEUNG and POK-MAN go HK Brilliance to see TO FU and KONG PIK. They ask the duo to teach TAK-WAH and even offer to invest HK$30,000,000……

First day at school, some students notice teaching material contains glamorous AV photos. CHING LONG is shocked and tells the TV station about such inappropriate teaching material. Droves of media gather at Great Success Education asking for MING-HANG, who is evasive and tells his assistant MEI-KUEN to handle the situation. CHUN-KEUNG visits the TO household and instructs MING-HANG to focus on running Great Success Education. She also suggests MING-CHI should become principal of HK Brilliance. CHUN-KEUNG points out MING-HANG has a track record of taking on many underprivileged young students and this can improve the image of HK Brilliance. MING-CHI acts as MAN-MAN’s assistant for the first time, but he often forgets to mention the brand name sponsored by CHOI-SUM. MING-CHI is frustrated. CHING SHU goes to the restaurant and tells LAI-PO she has enrolled for an education diploma course. But she is worried CHING LONG may object……

MING-HANG has promised to renovate HK Brilliance library, but he puts the matter aside because the position of principal is out of his reach. MAN-MAN happily tries wedding dresses. MING-CHI does not want to spoil her fun by mentioning he is to become HK Brilliance principal. CHOI-SUM shows up at the farm and expresses disappointment at MING-CHI not being frank with MAN-MAN. MING-CHI asks him to keep the matter secret. MING-CHI realizes School Commencement Day clashes with his big day. He wants to miss the commencement ceremony. CHUN-KEUNG has prepared School Commencement Day speech for MING-CHI. MING-CHI insists on using his own words. CHUN-KEUNG and MING-CHI turn against each other. After performing stage play, LUI YAU and CHUI FUNG-KEI rush to Erya Secondary School to assume teaching duties. School director suggests them to enroll for education diploma course, so they can start teaching drama classes next year……

MAN-MAN has been waiting for some time, but there is still no sign of MING-CHI. CHOI-SUM unwittingly reveals MING-CHI has become HK Brilliance principal. MING-CHI’s new status angers MAN-MAN, and she leaves. MING-HANG coaxes TO FU to suggest making him vice principal. CHUN-KEUNG has designed a “Down-to-earth” programme for TAK-WAH to follow. TAK-WAH shall have a lifestyle like ordinary people and not a son of some wealthy clan. CHING SHU finds out CHING LONG has taken up the same subject as she has. CHING SHU excuses herself to avoid seeing CHING LONG, but forgets to take her student card with her. MING-CHI misses MAN-MAN so much that he is acting dumb. Sister Tak tries to sober him up, but gets a telling-off in return. TAK-WAH notices Sister Tak’s blonde hair and thinks she is a foreigner. Sister Tak sings out TAK-WAH’s shortcomings in rapping style. TAK-WAH keeps his cool……

POK-MAN does not understand TAK-WAH’s English. He orders CHUN-KEUNG to find native English scholars to join HK Brilliance teaching staff. Dr. Blue runs into B-Kids trio. She reprimands the trio in fluent Cantonese. CHUN-KEUNG suggests MING-CHI hiring Dr. Blue to teach Gender Studies at HK Brilliance. LUI YAU, FUNG-KEI and 5** Fighters find out B-Kids trio have exclusive use of leisure facilities in Student Council common room. They complain to MING-HANG. HK Brilliance is electing a new Student Council President. CHING SHU reckons Student Council President must have good grades and leadership qualities. TAK-WAH learns of CHING SHU’s opinion and wants to launch his campaign. CHING LONG orders CHING SHU to withdraw from Dr. Blue’s classes. CHING SHU refuses and even prepares to run for Student Council’s presidency. B-Kids deliberately mock TAK-WAH’s speaking style in an attack on LUI YAU……

MING-CHI receives farewell letter from MAN-MAN. CHING SHU and TAK-WAH are trapped in a lift. CHI-MO saves them. CHING SHU is elected as Student Council President. To please POK-MAN, MING-HANG suggests TAK-WAH taking up the position of vice president. CHUN-KEUNG is unhappy about MING-CHI not caring about the students and teachers resigning. CHUN-KEUNG orders MING-CHI to enroll for “Self-Exploration and Self-Improvement” workshop. CHING SHU checks ledgers prepared by previous committee members and discovers B-Kids have an outstanding loan of HK$100,000. CHING SHU and committee members discuss Education Expo based on the subject of “Road to Growth”. She asks members to talk about their experiences of growing up. CHING SHU has an interview appointment with CHUN-KEUNG as she wishes to promote HK Brilliance in Education Expo. While passing through the campus, MING-CHI notices some soda vending machine……

CHUN-KEUNG’s dad FOOK-KWAI is repairing some pipe at CHUN-KEUNG’s home. CHUN-KEUNG’s words make FOOK-KWAI feel uneasy. MING-HANG wants to use the success story of CHENG CHI-SHING – HK Brilliance alumnus and International Outstanding Teaching Award winner – as teaching material in HK Brilliance introductory classes. During the video press event, CHI-SHING admires CHING SHU and asks her to act as his spokesperson. CHING SHU has a very busy schedule as she just finishes video recording, she has to rush to Great Success Education to teach kids. Realizing CHING SHU is totally worn out, CHING LONG feels awful. New student LIU NIOU starts her first school day at HK Brilliance. B-Kids think she is the ultimate beauty. MING-CHI gets acquainted with LIU NIOU, who feels some students are not serious about learning. TAK-WAH cannot forget the sound from Heaven which he once heard……

TAK-WAH has the worst grades in the class, causing MING-CHI to have doubts about his ability. CHING SHU is willing to become TAK-WAH’s private tutor. CHUN-KEUNG does not want TAK-WAH to get involved in the musical. But MING-CHI reckons making the musical is a collective effort of the whole class and is willing to lend a hand. CHUN-KEUNG asks Mrs. SHIH to suspend TAK-WAH’s credit cards, forcing TAK-WAH to borrow money from CHING SHU. When Sister Tak sees Mrs. SHIH, she gets inexplicably angry. Mrs. SHIH is baffled. MING-CHI asks LIU NIOU about scholarship application. LIU NIOU says this matter has nothing to do with HK Brilliance as she has applied elsewhere. MING-CHI is suspicious about LIU NIOU’s response. LUI YAU and FUNG-KEI look for TAK-WAH. They want TAK-WAH to go with two tattoo guys to recover rental deposit. MING-CHI tails them to their destination……

LIU NIOU feels depressed as she has to go to the hospital for a check-up. Sister Tak reprimands TAK-WAH for not being diligent and disappointing his parents and elder sister. TAK-WAH corrects Sister Tak by pointing out he has no elder sister. Sister Tak is annoyed and leaves. CHING LONG leaves the classroom when class finishes, but he then realizes he has left behind the students’ test papers. A despondent CHING LONG returns home. CHING SHU asks him to come along to celebrate LAI-PO’s birthday, but CHING LONG gets angry. CHING LONG confesses to Jimmy that he has lost the test papers. Jimmy orders him to find the papers within a week. Feeling miserable, CHING LONG goes to the bar to drink his blues away. He runs into Dr. Blue and asks her for help. CHUN-KEUNG is knackered by the workload. MING-CHI offers her a seat back pad with massage function. SIU-MAN signs in at HK Brilliance and sees CHUN-KEUNG……

At the bar, Dr. Blue runs into CHING LONG again. Dr. Blue takes tipsy CHING LONG back to CHING LONG’s home and unexpectedly sees CHING SHU. Dr. Blue guesses they are a cohabiting couple. CHING SHU, TAK-WAH, LUI YAU and FUNG-KEI are absent from class as they are turning HK Brilliance over to help CHING LONG find the test papers. CHING LONG, accompanied by CHING SHU, offers his apology to CHUN-KEUNG. CHUN-KEUNG is furious and decides to let PTA handle the matter. TAK-WAH feels lost as LIU NIOU is not interested in him. YUEN-MONG sincerely talks with TAK-WAH and points out his goddess has never understood him. CHUN-KEUNG scolds TAK-WAH for causing YUEN-MONG to come home late. She wants YUEN-MONG to meet positive people. But YUEN-MONG accuses CHUN-KEUNG of not caring about his feelings. WONG-FUN invites CHUN-KEUNG to be the host of a new book publication event……

TO FU and KONG PIK invite CHUN-KEUNG and SIU-MAN to help organize Mid-Autumn Festival party. LIU NIOU and Sister Tak are raising a cat at HK Brilliance. Rumors about the institute being a ghostly place fly around. B-Kids drag TAK-WAH, CHING SHU and some others along to catch the spooky spirits. But the gang of seven end up scared out of their wits and escape to Dr. Blue’s room. Dr. Blue is packing her belongings and prepares to check into a hotel. LUI YAU and FUNG-KEI invite her to stay with them. Addressing staff members, MING-CHI clarifies the incident and reminds everybody to go to Mid-Autumn Festival party in the evening. CHUN-KEUNG says she cannot go because she has to see her relatives. But in fact YUEN-MONG and FOOK-KWAI have gone on a trip. Many students have come to Mid-Autumn Festival party. TAK-WAH is waiting for LIU NIOU to show up. CHING SHU learns of TAK WAH waiting for LIU NIOU and is not happy……

LIU NIOU discovers porn video disc and an incomprehensible letter in her locker. LIU NIOU and Sister Tak consult CHING SHU and realize the love letter is written by some pervert.Male students ask CHING SHU to use her Student Council President status to protect LIU NIOU. LUI YAU does not agree. The two groups of students argue over MING-CHI and CHUN-KEUNG asking LIU NIOU about the harassment letter. LIU NIOU just says it is a prank. LIU NIOU’s locker is plastered with pursuers’ stickers. Sister Tak examines the handwriting and investigates. MING-CHI goes to community center to teach senior citizens calligraphy. LIU NIOU wants to come along and learn as well. MING-CHI keeps LIU NIOU company on her way back home. LIU NIOU tells MING-CHI about her background. Mr. TONG requests CHUN-KEUNG to take care of LIU NIOU and protect her from male students’ harassment. CHUN-KEUNG accepts Mr. TONG’s request……

MING-HANG goes to HK Brilliance canteen to buy takeaway. He does not like the menu which offers only curry fish ball dishes. He complains to his parents and MING-CHI about CHOI-SUM forcibly taking over the canteen’s management. Taking her home prepared lunchbox along with her, LIU NIOU goes to the canteen to join TAK-WAH for a meal. A wave of stomach ache soon sweeps across the canteen. Even TAK-WAH faints. In HK Brilliance meeting room, Mrs. SHIH questions whether the canteen should continue operation. MING-HANG suggests switching to another catering operator. CHUN-KEUNG puts forward a more democratic proposal of letting the students decide by voting. MING-CHI thinks their ideas are unfair to CHOI-SUM. WONG-FUN receives complaint and orders LUI YAU and FUNG-KEI to stop privately making snacks. LUI YAU suspects CHING SHU of informing WONG-FUN behind their back……

MING-CHI and the students have many things to say about Tai Fai Tin’s food. MING-HANG advises them not to raise unnecessary issues. Design student LO KWAN specifically picks on MING-CHI, who is acting in the capacity of a stand-in teacher. LO KWAN accuses MING-CHI of not knowing anything about design and decides to skip his class. MING-CHI reckons he is a frog in a well. LO KWAN, still being confrontational, challenges MING-CHI to a contest of making art film. Cindy asks CHUN-KEUNG for help in attending a banquet on behalf of some client. SHAN-TO’s trio give MING-CHI complimentary hotel tasting coupons. MING-CHI promises he will go. Arriving at the hotel, CHUN-KEUNG realizes it is a speed dating event. She even accidentally catches sight of MING-CHI’s face being slapped. MING-CHI asks Sister Tak to help him make secret footage. TAT-TAT is moved by MING-CHI’s film, but LO KWAN is not happy. MING-CHI and Sister Tak go to a supermarket……

Returning from a trip, CHING LONG resumes his teaching duties at HK Brilliance and notices repairs and maintenance signs all over the place. He also hears someone shouting for Dr. Blue. CHI-MO is curious about CHING LONG’s way of falling into Sphere of Love. LIU NIOU wants to return to school and resume her classes, but Mr. TONG has submitted application for terminating her studies to MING-CHI. SIU-MAN complains about LIU NIOU not submitting report and her absence. MING-CHI goes to the TONG household to find out more about LIU NIOU’s reasons for terminating school, but Mrs. TONG gets in his way. CHING LONG skips class because he is afraid of seeing Dr. Blue. Instead, he uses video call to explain his coursework to Dr. Blue. TAK-WAH thinks LIU NIOU has applied for leave. He suggests CHING SHU should borrow books and make notes for LIU NIOU. He also begs her to take him along to see LIU NIOU……

LIU NIOU reveals to everybody she is to become a surrogate mother. LIU NIOU is eventually persuaded to stay at the TO household. CHING SHU goes to LUI YAU’s place for a temporary stay. She sees Dr. Blue and asks her about her relationship with CHING LONG. LUI YAU and FUNG-KEI think CHING LONG is two-timing. They use a vote to force him to choose one of the two. Voting result shows Dr. Blue is the winner. CHING SHU leaves in anger. CHING LONG and Jimmy go to the bar for a drinking session. CHING LONG and LAI-PO argue over CHING SHU again. Mr. and Mrs. TONG go to HK Brilliance to find LIU NIOU. Mr. TONG declares he shall instruct his lawyer to initiate legal proceedings against MING-CHI and HK Brilliance. MING-CHI tells Mr. TONG he is not afraid of his legal action. MING-HANG asks Sister Tak about Gangsta Pro as he thinks it could be a profitable proposition……

CHING LONG hands out copies of Questionnaire on Secondary School Sex Education to Ming Tak students. YUEN-MONG does not know how to respond. CHING LONG allows him to bring it back the next day. After school, YUEN-MONG rushes to drama class to practise. MING-HANG requests parents to make contributions towards ticket sales and costumes. CHUN-KEUNG thinks YUEN-MONG should spend more time on his studies and not just care about rehearsing drama. In class, SIU-MAN notices students not paying attention as they are busily doing exercises. She reminds them their homework should contain twenty references. This reminder gives the students a shock. CHING SHU encourages everybody to go to the library for an all night session of doing homework. During a session of CHING SHU, TO FU, WONG-FUN and CHI-MO playing mahjong, CHING SHU says she really wants to be with her parents……

CHUN-KEUNG finds a black lace dress in YUEN-MONG’s room, causing her to worry about YUEN-MONG having curious ideas and fantasy about women. YUEN-MONG returns home and is surprised by MING-CHI’s presence. CHUN-KEUNG appreciates MING-CHI’s help as the truth is revealed. She offers to buy him a tasty meal at some neighborhood food stall. While CHING SHU and Sister Tak are decorating a Christmas tree, CHI-MO is knocked out by an electric shock. Nobody knows anything about first aid. SIU-MAN finally comes forward and saves CHI-MO. During a discussion about CHI-MO’s medical insurance, CHUN-KEUNG simply avoids looking into MING-CHI’s eyes. LAI-PO takes CHING SHU along and buys her some clothes. She reminds CHING SHU it is important to have self-confidence. Dressed to the nines, MING-CHI, WONG-FUNG, CHI-MO and SIU-MAN attend the institute’s Christmas Prom and turn heads……

YUEN-MONG joins study tour and CHUN-KEUNG keeps him company. MING-CHI comes to take them to the airport in his car. MING-CHI realizes YUEN-MONG is not happy and persuades CHUN-KEUNG to let YUEN-MONG pursue further education in Hong Kong. CHUN-KEUNG insists on her way. SIU-MAN announces results and points out their grades may not be good enough for them to be admitted as teaching interns. LUI YAU, FUNG-KEI and CHING SHU coincidentally go to Erya Secondary School to look for internship opportunities. The principal tells them there is only one placement. MING-HANG reprimands MEI-KUEN. MEI-KUEN resigns as she feels insulted. She even decides to seek revenge on MING-HANG. TAK-WAH has a date with CHING SHU to go on a yacht cruise to enjoy firework show on New Year’s Eve. On the yacht, Sister Tak and TAK-WAH get intimately close……

CHUN-KEUNG is shocked to learn FOOK-KWAI and Elsa know Juliet. She leaves home in anger and goes to SIU-MAN’s place for a temporary stay. She also finds out SIU-MAN and her husband have separated. TO FU asks CHING SHU and CHI-MO about MING-CHI’s recent strange behavior. He suspects MING-CHI has found new romance and guesses his new sweetheart is SIU-MAN. CHI-MO promptly responds by saying SIU-MAN is not MING-CHI’s type. YUEN-MONG pours his heart out to MING-CHI, who is concerned about YUEN-MONG going out with Juliet. CHUN-KEUNG is not happy about FOOK-KWAI using one education method for her and another different method for YUEN-MONG. CHUN-KEUNG is very nervous on the day of YUEN-MONG’s performance. While CHUN-KEUNG and MING-CHI are having a meal, the issue of YUEN-MONG and Juliet going out is mentioned. CHUN-KEUNG does not agree with MING-CHI’s opinion……

POK-MAN and Mrs. SHIH go to the hospital to see Sister Tak. With blurred vision, ‘daddy’ instinctively slips out of Sister Tak’s mouth when she sees POK-MAN. When MING-CHI addresses Sister Tak as cousin-aunt, POK-MAN and Mrs. SHIH realize Sister Tak is TO LAI’s daughter. Mrs. SHIH asks CHUN-KEUNG about Sister Tak’s background. CHUN-KEUNG says she does not know much about Sister Tak. POK-MAN invites TO FU and his family to the SHIH household for dinner as a gesture of his gratitude for Sister Tak saving TAK-WAH. Sister Tak promises she will go. During the dinner gathering, Mrs. SHIH is not happy about Sister Tak, TAK-WAH and POK-MAN having the same taste. CHING SHU is assigned the task of teaching Chinese in the capacity of teaching intern. She uses game method to conduct her class, but the students are not interested. Sister Tak and POK-MAN, accompanied by MING-CHI, go to some theme park to have fun. Paparazzi follow their tracks……

Knowing POK-MAN and Sister Tak are father and daughter, MING-HANG specially makes a T-shirt to please Sister Tak. Eyra Principal asks TAK-WAH to teach a girl band to learn ‘Aspirateurs’. After listening to the three band members playing their instruments, TAK-WAH offers them advice on correcting their musical tone. The trio are impressed. Great Success Education teacher cannot attend class at short notice. Secretary Giselle cannot find stand-in teacher. Students become rowdy and demand refunds. MING-HANG reveals his plan of launching electronic tutorials, which will solve the problem of finding stand-in teachers. MING-HANG receives promotion leaflet from newly opened Postmodern Tutoring Center. He notices the list of teachers contains only Great Success Education ex-star teachers. 5** Fighters also tender their resignation to MING-HANG and express their determination to become teacher……

MING-HANG returns to Great Success Education and is greeted by creditors, who force him to use his property as collateral to borrow money for loan repayment. MING-CHI and CHUN-KEUNG learn of SIU-MAN’s ex-husband’s indiscretions. They worry about SIU-MAN. SIU-MAN goes to attend class. She knows everybody cares about her and points out she still believes in love. CHI-MO is so moved that he tells her his loving words. Ronald is representative of internationally renowned Harris Norton School and delivers a message of their intention to develop the Greater China market. Ronald and MING-HANG discuss about Harris Norton collaborating with HK Brilliance. MING-HANG tries to convince TO FU and KONG PIK to launch Asia study programs. CHING SHU and TO FU’s trio have another session of mahjong. They give CHING SHU many convincing reasons as to why she should join them in International Mahjong Championship……

CHI-MO is exasperated and returns to HK Brilliance. He tells MING-CHI to leave quickly to avoid being caught by YEUNG KWO. But YEUNG KWO has already arrived, and MING-CHI even offers him temporary accommodation at HK Brilliance. YEUNG KWO asks MING-CHI to help him find his first love Daisy. Sister Tak helps him find the missing person. YUEN-MONG is having a football match and CHUN-KEUNG comes to the field to show her support. CHUN-KEUNG receives notification from Elsa’s school in America that YUEN-MONG is admitted. CHUN-KEUNG decides to make the overseas trip together with YUEN-MONG, but MING-CHI is tied up with HK Brilliance. MING-HANG questions MEI-KUEN about her strategy of poaching Great Success Education students at all cost. MING-HANG returns to HK Brilliance. He notices YEUNG KWO occupying his room and leaves in anger. CHING SHU has won the mahjong championship and becomes global mahjong champion……

MEI-KUEN and her old buddy YEUNG KWO have a gathering. She finds out he is MING-CHI’s student. YEUNG KWO reckons his survival to this day totally relies on MEI-KUEN being constantly on his mind. MING-HANG apologizes to MING-CHI. MING-CHI invites MING-HANG to return to HK Brilliance to help out. MING-HANG chuckles. Kwan the Guzzler and his gang go to HK Brilliance and demand YEUNG KWO hand over golden eggs. Sister Tak stops them causing nuisance. YEUNG KWO remembers Brother Kwong gave him things which he then gave CHI-MO. CHI-MO says those things are kept at different relatives’ places. Brother Wing holds CHI-MO hostage as he wants Brother Kwong’s things. He demands a ransom from YEUNG KWO for releasing CHI-MO. MING-HANG wants to see MEI-KUEN, who makes fun of him. MEI-KUEN goes to her father’s grave and curses. YEUNG KWO shows up and tells her Brother Kwong has left behind a consignment of birthday gifts for her……

MING-HANG reveals his grand plan to MEI-KUEN. He will receive a big lump sum when the merger of Harris Norton and HK Brilliance is realized. CHI-MO knows YEUNG KWO wants to study overseas. He is willing to lend him money as he thinks it is an honor of Wai Sun. MING-CHI and his family celebrate YEUNG KWO going overseas for further education. YEUNG KWO is also told he will always be welcome to teach at HK Brilliance upon completion of his studies. SIU-MAN finds out Harris Norton’s dodgy mergers with other schools. CHUN-KEUNG gives these findings to MING-CHI to review. Sister Tak also puts information obtained from MING-HANG’s computer in front of MING-CHI’s eyes. MING-CHI does not believe MING-HANG is selling HK Brilliance out. TAK-WAH delivers news of POK-MAN being unconscious. The trio rush to the hospital. Mrs. SHIH does not let Sister Tak see POK-MAN. CHUN-KEUNG is saddened by POK-MAN’s unconscious condition and Mrs……

CHING SHU questions MING-CHI and CHUN-KEUNG about the merger. MING-CHI says this matter must be put before and passed by School Management Committee. TAK-WAH points out committee members will follow Mrs. SHIH and vote in favor of the merger. YAU TIN arrogantly walks into HK Brilliance and sees MING-CHI, whom he mistakes as LAM TSOI-YEH, the person he hates most. MING-CHI also wrongly thinks he is CHOI SUM. MING-CHI sincerely asks YAU TIN to abandon the merger plan. YAU TIN gives him three conditions. CHING SHU establishes “HK Brilliance Concern Group” to monitor the merger plan. She also launches a signature campaign. Mrs. SHIH reveals to TAK-WAH she has sold HK Brilliance because she does not want HK Brilliance to remind POK-MAN of his old lover. Also, she will not let Sister Tak use him. CHING SHU and students congregate in the playground. They express their demands to the school and TAK-WAH appears. Sister Tak angrily hits MING-HANG……

TAK-WAH lies about Sister Tak returning to Canada. Mrs. SHIH sees straight through him as she knows Sister Tak is still in Hong Kong. MING-HANG keeps YAU TIN company in a sauna. They discuss how to handle CHOI SUM. MING-HANG orders MEI-KUEN to seduce CHOI SUM. MEI-KUEN is hurt and orders him to leave. CHOI SUM puts forward a turnaround proposal to HK Brilliance committee members. He suggests MING-CHI take up the position of principal. Mrs. SHIH accuses MING-CHI of inciting Sister Tak to con her and asks committee members to consider carefully. YAU TIN and CHOI SUM bump into each other. They are determined to fight over control of HK Brilliance. MING-HANG accuses MING-CHI of using CHOI SUM in his attempt to cancel HK Brilliance merger plan.
