Passing by the mansion of KEI-CHEUNG's friend, SAU-FONG learns from the security guard that the new homeowner has already moved in, which makes her so happy that she not only prepares abundant food to bid farewell to KEI-CHEUNG but also serves them with fine wine for some binge-drinking. After several rounds of drinks, KEI-CHEUNG reveals that he really cares about SAU-FONG, SAU-FONG's daughter and KAN KIT, adding that he feels very much at home when living with them. Sensing there is something wrong with it, SAU-FONG turns on the recording function of her mobile phone, coaxing him into telling her the truth that he received commission after selling the high-end house for his friend. SAU-FONG then instructs WAN-YEE to install a hidden video camera in her living room.… ...

Through the webcam, SHING-HONG notices that there is a pregnancy test stick in his girlfriend's trash can; whereas SHING-OI also recalls that SHING-HONG went to the States to visit TSZ-TSIN two month ago. Wondering whether he is going to be a father, SHING-HONG immediately gets ready to go to the States, ahead of which he even reminds SHING-OI to find a new place for YAT-MING to stay. Since there are some people you just cannot live with, SHING-OI is concerned that she herself might have to move out once TSZ-TSIN returns to Hong Kong. In light of this, SHING-OI pressures TAI WAI to irritate SAU-FONG and the others by any means necessary, forcing them to move out earlier, so that she and YAT-MING won't have to find another place to stay. Knowing that her daughter is going to work for SHING-HONG, SAU-FONG immediately forbids her from going to the company. To her surprise, WAN-YEE claims that she was not seeking her approval, instead, she was merely notifying her of her plans. HAK-KAN wants SHING-HONG to tell KAM-FU about his support for the new project proposal because KAM-FU always thinks highly of SHING-HONG. The cheque issued by KA-HUNG to pay for the renovation services bounces, so MEI-WAH borrows the money from the troupe after asking SHING-HONG for several days' grace, to which SAU-FONG and KAN KIT promptly agree. With SIN-TING telling WAN-YEE to prepare a draft design, WAN-YEE burns the midnight oil to make a miniature model to reflect her idea, but SIN-TING doesn't like it. Arriving at his repeat customer Miss HO's home to collect the renovation fee, SHING-HONG spots the intimate photos of Miss HO and KA-HUNG on her computer. Following another bounced cheque, MEI-WAH tries to contact KA-HUNG but cannot reach him, making her worry so much. While leaving her home with her family members, WAN-YEE runs into SHING-HONG, who suggests that she could collect the renovation fee first before returning to the office. KAN KIT sends the new script for their new play named "Turning in the Son" to TIN's residence, asking for KAM-FU's opinion.… ...

WAN-YEE receives a phone call from MEI-WAH, and YAT-MING enquires about MEI-WAH's current situation, leaving WAN-YEE puzzled. After WAN-YEE asks YAT-MING why, YAT-MING shows her the photos he took for MEI-WAH in the subdivided flat. With KAN KIT and SAU-FONG hiring SHING-HONG to renovate a small unit of a tenement house, WAN-YEE hopes that SHING-HONG would let her design the interior of the unit which MEI-WAH is going to move in to, so SHING-HONG tells WAN-YEE and YAT-MING to each submit a draft design to him. Finally, KAM-FU agrees to let HAK-KAN handle the real estate project with Mr. KAM. While celebrating with SHING-HONG, HAK-KAN’s attention suddenly is caught by the news from the TV regarding the natural gas explosion in Northern Europe, and he begins to panic, leaving in a hurry.… ...

KAM-FU invites SHING-HONG to go for a walk with him in a park, during which he not only admits that he is aware that his son bears a grudge against him, but also bursts into tears and confides in SHING-HONG. Later on, SHING-HONG bumps into KAN KIT, so the two go to the rooftop to have congee together. While there, KAN KIT mentions that she would like to come up with an idea to help KAM-FU break the ice with his son. Inviting KAM-FU to the theatre, KAN KIT begins rehearsal for the new play "Turning in the Son". Out of the blue, HAK-KAN shows up and gets down on his knees in front of his father KAM-FU, apologizing to him. On the other hand, YAT-MING and WAN-YEE are arguing whether they should hang a painting or a mirror in front of the window of MEI-WAH's apartment, and each insists on his/her idea.… ...

SHING-HONG joins TSZ-TSIN, WAN-YEE and KAN KIT to have a meal together, during which he enquires how WAN-YEE and TSZ-TSING met each other. Seeing that TSZ-TSIN is full of lies, KAN KIT cannot bear this anymore, however, it's not yet possible for her to expose that TSZ-TSIN is two-timing. Apart from making an excuse to not stay in SHING-HONG's home, TSZ-TSIN also tries to shun seeing SHING-HONG on the pretext of discussing her e-Business with WAN-YEE. SAU-FONG, WAN-YEE, KAN KIT and TSZ-TSIN unexpectedly run into SAM while they are having afternoon tea together. Watching Cantonese opera with his father, HAK-KAN reveals that the one who makes him like Cantonese operas is KAN KIT, adding that he has grown fond of KAN KIT. Having heard that SAU-FONG is seeking sponsorship, HAK-KAN sends some gifts to the troupe, above which he often delivers afternoon tea and refreshments to the troupe members.… ...

HAK-KAN has no idea how come KAN KIT becomes so afraid of him that she even tells SHING-HONG to send him away although he merely sends a lotus hat to her home. Due to the fact that SHING-HONG and KAN KIT are neighbours, HAK-KAN then seeks aid from SHING-HONG, hoping that SHING-HONG will help him pursue KAN KIT. But SHING-HONG advises him not to push things too hard. SHING-HONG finds out the filming location of Director LEE's new movie via the internet, immediately, he dashes to the scene so as to surprise TSZ-TSIN. On the other hand, SAM discloses that Director LEE intends to let him try to be the stunt coordinator, unfortunately, he doesn't have enough money to buy the equipment. SHING-HONG receives a phone call from TSZ-TSIN, who dresses up so nicely, and SHING-HONG then takes her to the apartment that HAK-KAN bought for his ex-girlfriend.… ...

KA-LAI brings HAK-KAN's proposal for KAM-FU to review while also highly approving it. KAN KIT goes to TIN's residence to teach HAK-KAN Cantonese opera singing. Seeing them singing together, KAM-FU feels happy and relieved. SHING-HONG's car breaks down, and SAM happens to pass by so he immediately offers help. SHING-HONG then tells him that his friend is one of the filming crew of renowned Director LEE, yet he doesn't reveal the name. After seeing SHING-HONG's 3D interior design, SAM wants to adopt the technique when designing the action sequences of the motion picture. On the other hand, SHING-HONG reminds HAK-KAN that he should not be too aggressive when pursuing KAN KIT, otherwise, he will frighten her off. SAU-FONG calls SHING-HONG, asking him to fix the door and windows of the master bedroom. While there, SHING-HONG catches a glimpse of the miniature dream house that KAN KIT made herself.… ...

HAK-KAN thinks KAN KIT will be very pleased after receiving the miniature refrigerator he gave her, however, SHING-HONG points out that the model doesn't fit, adding that HAK-KAN should spend more time to try to find out more about KAN KIT. After SHING MO informs KEI-KEUNG that a big guy with tattoos went to the troupe to look for him, KEI-KEUNG goes to check his bank account, only to find out that he only has four hundred dollars. Unexpectedly, HAK-KAN makes his sudden appearance, offering KEI-CHEUNG a huge stack of cash. It turns out that HAK-KAN would like to seek opportunity to spend more time with KAN KIT alone, hoping KEI-CHEUNG would assist him. Later on, when the troupe members are heading to a remote island for a ritual performance, KEI-CHEUNG causes KAN KIT to miss her ferry. HAK-KAN out of the blue goes to the hotel to pick up KAN KIT, offering to give her a lift with his yacht.… ...

By chance, YAT-MING overhears HAK-KAN and SHING-HONG's phone conversation, learning that HAK-KAN has started dating KAN KIT. In response to SUET-YIM's query as to the schedule of the play "Hua Mulan", KAN KIT tells her that she has already assigned SAU-FONG to handle the matter. KAN KIT asks KEI CHEUNG for his opinion regarding the new play script "Tuning in the Son", so KEI CHEUNG replies that it will hold greater public appeal if a romantic story line is added to the play. Going out for a date, KAN KIT and HAK-KAN pass by an antique store, where KAN KIT is greatly touched by the story of the owner of an antique hand fan, thinking that they might be able to add that story line to their new play. After HAK-KAN returns to the antique store from the washroom, he finds out that KAN KIT has already left, so he suffers a huge blow. KAM-FU hires SHING-HONG to renovate his friend Mr. XIN's study room.… ...

Having made sure that WAN-YEE is not going to work with him to design the interior of CHOW's residence, YAT-MING then tells her to design the new real estate project near a landfill site. Seeing this quarrelsome pair, OI-YING cannot help suspecting they have developed a workplace romance. With KAN KIT sending him Chinese music and emoticons, HAK-KAN has no idea what's going on, so he asks SHING-HONG to help him solve the puzzle. WAN-YEE learns from OI-YING and MAN-TSUN that YAT-MING has been extremely busy, whereas TAI WAI also complains to YAT-MING about the repeated alterations in the renovation design. YAT-MING calls TAI WAI, asking him to buy some materials, but TAI WAI completely ignores him. In view of this, WAN-YEE actively offers to help him. CHAN HANG, one of the troupe members, buys a new recording device, in which KAN KIT shows a great interest, so she borrows the device.… ...

Under CHAN HANG's instruction over the phone, KAN KIT successfully records the music "Lofty Mountain and Running Water" that she herself played and burns it into a disc. HAK-KAN enters a joint venture with Mr. KAM to develop the Dream Villa project, and he lets SHING-HONG handle the interior design and decoration for a total of twenty thousand units, adding that Director WAN is going to provide all the electrical appliances. But, SHING-HONG is concerned that the electrical appliances produced by Director WAN's manufacture might not be able to meet Hong Kong standards. SHING-HONG hears the phone conversation between WAN-YEE and KAN KIT, so he reprimands HAK-KAN for lying about the fact that he lost the disc and trying to shift the responsibility, above which he even goes to look for the disc himself. By accident, SHING-HONG sees SAU-FONG arguing with HO SHUN-YUEN.… ...

KAN KIT sends several emails to HAK-KAN, but HAK-KAN doesn't reply to her at all, making KAN KIT feel enormously overwhelmed. SHING-HONG reprimands HAK-KAN, who instead gives SHING-HONG his email account password, authorising SHING-HONG to deal with the matter on behalf of him. With SHUN-YUEN going to the troupe to ask SAU-FONG for more money, KEI-CHEUNG tells SHUN-YUEN that his foe Mr. SUN is currently in Hong Kong, warning him not to make any rash acts. SUET-YIM reveals that someone tries to recruit her to be the lead female character to perform the main protagonist of the repertoire "Hua Mulan", so KAN KIT tries to persuade her to stay. SAU-FONG was also going to compromise on the issue until she finds out that SUET-YIM's new partner turns out to be SHUN-YUEN, leading to a falling-out between her and SUET-YIM.… ...

One of SIN-TING's repeat customers designates YAT-MING and WAN-YEE to design the interior of his home, which makes SIN-TING very upset. After KAN KIT unintentionally learns that SUET-YIM is eager to find a venue for the performance, she tries to borrow $500,000 from SAU-FONG because she intends to sponsor SUET-YIM for the play by adding the borrowed money to some of her own savings. But she is turned down by SAU-FONG, following which she goes to borrow money from KAM-FU, who then asks SHING-HONG to clarify the truth. Leading KAN KIT to a jewellery store, HAK-KAN hands over a cheque for $500,000 to KAN KIT, adding that she need not to return the money if she marries him, yet KAN KIT expresses that she needs to think about it. In view of this, HAK-KAN discloses SAU-FONG's secret to KAN KIT. On her way back, KAN KIT keeps thinking what HAK-KAN told her, ending up in a car accident and suffering a broken leg.… ...

WAN-YEE accidentally hits HAK-KAN's car when driving, and she even accidentally injures HAK-KAN during a quarrel. KAN KIT talks to KAM-FU on the phone, during which KAM-FU assures her that HAK-KAN will not file a lawsuit against WAN-YEE. KAN KIT says that SAU-FONG has treated her almost too well, nevertheless, SAU-FONG claims to be a fraudster. Recalling the past, KAN KIT relays what her mother said before, which is that SAU-FONG would be the only one to be duty-bound to protect her besides her mother. Meanwhile, KEI-CHEUNG appears and discloses SAU-FONG's secret. After WAN-YEE tells YAT-MING everything about her family, YAT-MING is deeply impressed by WAN-YEE, and even shows her affection. SIN-TING would like to discuss the details of the Dream Villa project with SHING-HONG. To her surprise, SHING-HONG is so busy that he tells SIN-TING to deal with the issue herself.… ...

Having asked her lawyer to prepare a non-disclosure agreement, SAU-FONG urges SHUN-YUEN to sign off the new agreement, and then gives him $2 million. KAN KIT listens to the recording of SHUN-YUEN's words over and over again, which is overheard by SHING-HONG. After talking about her leg injuries and the rumor of her marrying the wealthy heir of TIN's family, KAN KIT eventually reveals her real relationship with SAU-FONG. Upon his return to home, HAK-KAN announces that he is going to get married soon, and his real girlfriend turns out to be SHING-HONG's assistant, SIN-TING.… ...

SHING-HONG calls an urgent meeting to push YAT-MING to redesign the construction project draft plan, whereas YAT-MING is concerned that they might not be able to handle this, which SHING-HONG is not satisfied with. While SHING-HONG is thinking how to deal with the matter, he suddenly hears KAN KIT playing the traditional Chinese instrument, Guzheng. Later on, SHING-HONG learns that Director LEE's movie is going to suspend filming for a few days, so he flies to Shanghai to visit TSZ-TSIN. Unexpectedly, he sees with his own eyes that TSZ-TSIN and SAM are very intimate. After SHING-HONG receives a legal letter from Chun Fung Tai and Siu Tsun Construction demanding compensation from New Moon Studio, SHING-HONG urges OI-YING to pass him the contract. However, OI-YING uncovers that the contract is the old version.… ...

KAM-FU goes to the hospital for a full medical checkup, during which he hears that KAN KIT is also receiving physical therapy in the same hospital. While there, KAN KIT mentions things about SHING-HONG to KAM-FU, who makes it clear that they should not be partial to SHING-HONG. Therefore, KAN KIT senses that KAM-FU has no idea what's going on at all. Although all the staff members despise SIN-TING for headhunting them when Full Moon Studio is in trouble, SHING-HONG expresses that all of them should seriously consider joining SIN-TING's company. The lawyer representing Chun Fung Tai and Siu Tsun Construction has a meeting with SHING-HONG, who refuses to give in. At that moment, KAM-FU and KA-LAI make their sudden appearance...... SUET-YIM presents a performance of the play "Hua Mulan" which is a full house; whereas KAN KIT also specifically goes to watch the show in support of her.… ...
