Eye in the Sky

SZETO SHUN introduces the newly-hired employees, FAN FEI and NIK-HANG, to the facilities of the hotel, telling them that their boss KONG WUI-HOI lives in an apartment on the 45th floor. When NIK-HANG is patrolling the floors, he sees CHU LO-SZE delivering a meal to WUI-HOI, and finds out that the place is heavily-guarded. During their investigation, CHUN-NI and LAM LING sense that there is a man who is surreptitiously filming them. Surprisingly, LAM LING shows a great interest in that man. MR. CHIN hires the Private Investigators to check whether his wife is having an affair. Tailing after MRS. CHIN in secret, CHUN-NI and LAM LING notice that she is heading to Y Suite Hotel, so NG TSO-CHI plans to stay in the Y Suite Hotel to probe further into the matter. Having heard the female writer KWOK HOI-YIU's complaint in the coffee shop, WUI-HOI goes forward to ask her for details, and thereby knows what made her so angry.… ...

SZETO SHUN asks CHUN-NI about the man who bears a strong resemblance to him, but CHUN-NI pretends that she doesn't know him at all. Having disguised herself as a waitress, LAM LING tries to film MRS. CHIN in secret, and to her surprise, she once again runs into the photographer LUN TAI-LUN who made a great impression on her at an earlier time. TSO-CHI goes on the mission himself, yet is instead hit and injured. When CHUN-NI is following the target, luckily, she gets some help from SZETO SHUN. In the hotel, a party is thrown in recognition of the services rendered by everybody, during which WUI-HOI gets to know HOI-YIU's niece, who turns out to be LING-YEE. SZETO SHUN begs and pleads, hoping CHUN-NI would tell him what actually happened on the night of the arson. After many difficulties, he eventually manages to convince CHUN-NI that he and the suspected arsonist are two different people.… ...

Having discovered a clue, SZETO SHUN goes with the others to look for the his younger brother's whereabouts, only to find out that his younger brother's neighbours have no idea where he has been ever since his foster parents died a long time ago. LAM LING cannot stand the out-of-date management and equipments of the Private Investigators, so she leaves the company. NIK-HANG loses his change wallet, however, because of that, he and SZETO SHUN get to know that CHUN-NI is gifted with an eidetic memory. After intently recalling her memories, CHUN-NI remembers a name called "TAI FU-LUNG". Therefore, the three of them locate FU-LUNG's grandmother, GRANNY MUI, who reveals that FU-LUNG has already fled to Malaysia along with the man who looks like SZETO SHUN. Leading CHUN-NI to her newly established business "Agatha Investigation", LAM LING once again invites CHUN-NI to join her company.… ...

Earnestly and genuinely, GRANNY MUI advises that NIK-HANG and his friend should stop doing illegal things, yet NIK-HANG just keeps saying yes without showing any real intention to repent. Suddenly, NIK-HANG suffers from a severe headache, and a vision of all those bygones appears vividly in his mind after the pain has gone. Upon his return to Y Suite Hotel, NIK-HANG runs into SZETO SHUN, who also has a headache and is concerned about his younger brother's safety, so NIK-HANG cannot help feeling touched. A party is thrown at the official opening of LAM LING's "Agatha Investigation", and TSO-CHI also comes. At the party, MRS. CHUNG seeks LAM LING's help because her daughter SAU-KEI just ran away from home. Thus, LAM LING challenges TSO-CHI, suggesting that they should compete to see whose company would be the first one to solve the case.… ...

In the coffee shop, LAM LING and CHUN-NI are spying on SAU-KEI when she is meeting her friends, during which TSO-CHI and his men show up and outright obstruct them. Out of the blue, FU-LUNG appears to thwart TSO-CHI and the others, as a result, CHUN-NI manages to continue to tail after SAU-KEI. The police investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a woman's body across a remote street, and later on reveal that she was fatally struck by a speeding taxi. Yet, they are still unable to determine the identity of the deceased. NGA-CHING has no idea as to how to react to LING-YEE's orders, so she goes to seek advice from SZETO SHUN. Having found SZETO SHUN's whiteboard on which notes and papers regarding unsolved cases are stuck, NIK-HANG tries to ask him what his view is of being falsely accused of arson.… ...

SZETO SHUN tries to contact CHUN-NI but cannot reach her. Sensing that there must be something wrong, he urges NGA-CHING to conduct an investigation separately. After waking up, CHUN-NI finds herself and SAU-KEI locked up to chains. SZETO SHUN narrows down the search to a single suspect who is a female driver called LAI-HAN, however, LAI-HAN seems to be very calm when she is arrested. The police still cannot locate CHUN-NI and SAU-KEI, above which they are even misled by LAI-HAN. Fortunately, SZETO SHUN manages to find a clue from LAI-HAN's testimony and thereby deduces the missing two's whereabouts. With LAM LING throwing a party for CHUN-NI in celebration of her success, CHUN-NI expresses her gratitude to SZETO SHUN for having saved her life. Encouraging her aside, LAM LING tries to make SZETO SHUN accept CHUN-NI as his apprentice.… ...

TSO-CHI lies to CHUN-NI, saying that they just got a big business contract. In fact, he and FU-KWAI can only make a living by finding the reported missing persons. Agatha Investigation gets hired to investigate whether a man is making a false insurance claim by faking the nerve injuries in his legs. FU-LUNG tries to please and woo LAM LING by using the fake red edible bird's nests, and gets successfully invited over to her home. Following her target the whole night, CHUN-NI even climbs up a tree to spy on the target, but she keeps hiccuping due to hunger. NIK-HANG happens to pass by, so he buys her a bread. SZETO SHUN then offers her some hints by narrating the story of "The Greedy Dog". Getting inspired, CHUN-NI eventually solves the case.… ...

NIK-HANG is gloomy about the fact that he has to stay with SZETO SHUN even during lunch time, and unable to spy on HON SUN, so he has no alternative but to urge FU-LUNG to keep an eye on HON SUN. CHUN-NI goes back to TSO-CHI Private Investigators to fetch a phone eavesdropping software, only to find out that the company has turned into a South East Asian Food Retail Store. After conducting an investigation, CHUN-NI and SZETO SHUN go underneath an awning to seek shelter from the heavy rainfall. Suddenly, CHUN-NI starts hiccuping again, so SZETO SHUN presses her little finger and successfully helps her stop hiccuping, during which the two gaze into each other's eyes for a while. Nothing seems to be going right for HOI-YIU when she is writing her novel because she intends to portray HON SUN as one of her characters, but to no avail. So HOI-YIU has to seek aid from NIK-HANG, asking him to keep an eye on HON SUN's every move.… ...

NIK-HANG frankly discloses his real identity. After hearing this, SZETO SHUN has mixed feelings. SZETO SHUN's parents also dash to the hospital, where they eventually come to realize that NIK-HANG is in fact their younger son NIK. Seeing CHUN-NI help feed NIK-HANG, SZETO SHUN knows that NIK-HANG is still having feelings for CHUN-NI, so he decides not to let himself get between them. Following her investigation in the room of the suspected Southeast Asian people, LING-YEE pays a visit to HOI-YIU and finds her seemingly unwell. HOI-YIU then tells her that she hears a baby crying every night. With NIK-HANG being discharged from the hospital, he and SZETO SHUN finally mend the rift between them. Getting annoyed by the sound of a crying baby, HOI-YIU starts thinking that she is haunted by ghosts. Having learned of this, HON SUN invites HOI-YIU to stay in her room. NIK-HANG invites CHUN-NI to dine out.… ...

The police arrive at the crime scene where the exchange of fire took place to find five dead bodies. Seeking aid from SZETO SHUN, LING-YEE relays that tuberose fragrance was found on the dead bodies according to the autopsy report, which reminds SZETO SHUN of HON SUN. NIK-HANG reveals his love affection to CHUN-NI when inviting her out to take some photos for the light painting; whereas CHUN-NI is too stunned to reply, so she makes up an excuse and leaves. Apart form sending a text message to CHUN-NI by using the name of CHONG-NI, NIK-HANG also shows her some evidence to prove that he is CHONG-NI. CHUN-NI goes to a construction site to conduct an employee theft investigation, yet the workers there notice her and chase after her. Fortunately, she is rescued by NIK-HANG in the nick of time. Sneaking into HON SUN's room, HOI-YIU intends to leave a thank-you card, during which she runs into the mystery person.… ...

The police arrive at the crime scene to collect evidence, and LING-YEE is taken back to the police station for an interview. When SZETO SHUN, NIK-HANG and NGA-CHING return to the crime scene to investigate, HON SUN appears and puts forward an alibi. CHUN-NI and NIK-HANG join an art jamming course together. NIK-HANG wants to give CHUN-NI the portrait that he painted for her, but CHUN-NI not only turns it down but also wants to break up with NIK-HANG. SZETO SHUN finds the late HOI-YIU's lost dog, CAPITAL, from which he discovers a piece of cloth. Tracking down the suspect, SZETO SHUN tries to convince him to turn state's witness, however, that person resists and flees, and is later found murdered. LING-YING is released, following which she goes to pack the late HOI-YIU's personal belongings.… ...

SZETO SHUN is concerned that NIK-HANG might harm YEE-KU, so he goes to look for YEE-KU. Having found her, he tells her to contact him if necessary. Turning NG TSO-CHI Private Investigators into a South East Asian Food Retail Store, FU-KWAI brings in an exclusive agent of Indonesian Food, and wants TSO-CHI to be his business partner. YEE-KU has an accident, and she calls SZETO SHUN ahead of her death. As such, SZETO SHUN is taken back to the police station for an interview. When giving his testimony, he learns that NIK-HANG watched YEE-KU die without offering any help. Upon his departure, SZETO SHUN runs into FU-LUNG, who frankly discloses his and NIK-HANG's real background, and SZETO SHUN is astonished after hearing that. SZETO SHUN returns to his office and sees a luxury watch and mobile phone in his drawer, so he comes up with an idea and manages to find out the one who tried to frame him.… ...

Although SZETO SHUN tries to persuade NIK-HANG to let go of it for the sake of the family, NIK-HANG becomes more and more stubborn and refuses to quit. On the other hand, WUI-HOI suddenly promotes newly-joined NIK-HANG to the position of Security Manager. WUI-HOI is invited to a banquet by his former business partner, WU KAM-YIU, who leads WUI-HOI to a heavily-guarded chamber, telling him that he has already purchased the famous painting "Life and Death" that they longed for so many years ago. TSO-CHI sells his property and then gives the money to the agent of Indonesian Food, only to find out that it's a scam and he is deceived. So he makes up an excuse that he is going to the Philippines to start anew, urging CHUN-NI to stay in LAM LING's home temporarily. When LAM LING and FU-LUNG visit GRANNY MUI, GRANNY MUI seizes the opportunity to bring them together.… ...

Suddenly, SZETO SHUN extends an invitation to meet up with CHUN-NI, who sees SZETO SHUN and CHING-MAN holding each other's hands tightly. Having resumed his duty in the police force, SZETO SHUN hears that there's a rumor going around about him. SZETO SHUN tells LING-YEE that he followed HON SUN to KAM-YIU's mansion, suspecting that WUI-HOI must have something to do with HOI-YIU's death. CHUN-NI uncovers that FU-KWAI had fraudulently obtained assets and property belonging to TSO-CHI, and she finally runs into TSO-CHI. After NIK-HANG mentions that he is going to stay in the Y Suite Hotel, SZETO SHUN knows perfectly well that NIK-HANG just wants to avoid being watched or monitored by him. Meeting with FU-LUNG, NIK-HANG wants him to help steal a famous painting, but is rejected by FU-LUNG.… ...

CHUN-NI goes to the hotel where CHING-MAN stays, asking her whether she and SZETO SHUN pretended to be lovers. While SZETO SHUN and NGA-CHING are monitoring the Y Suite Hotel, CHUN-NI comes to question SZETO SHUN why he resumed his duty as a cop. HON SUN goes to a puppy mill alone, yet no one knows what she is up to. Noticing that TSO-CHI seems to want to get even with FU-KWAI, CHUN-NI goes to have a word with FU-KWAI in private, hoping that he could pretend to apologize to TSO-CHI so as to help ease the tension. NIK-HANG plans to steal the famous painting on his parents' wedding anniversary because SZETO SHUN will take one day off to stay at home, whereas he himself will also attend the event. During the anniversary, the two brothers exchange text messages, and thus unfolds a power struggle within the family.… ...

Just as NIK-HANG is running away in a hurry, SZETO SHUN drives his car and arrives there to save NIK-HANG, who instead tries to threaten SZETO SHUN but in vain, causing SZETO SHUN to lose control of the car and slam into the curb. After waking up from unconsciousness, NIK-HANG finds himself trapped in an abandoned factory with arms and legs locked up in chains. SZETO SHUN tries to persuade FU-LUNG, who eventually reveals that the Polar Star is still in the Y Suite Hotel. LAM LING and CHUN-NI pour out their grief and distress to each other as they feel like they are in the same boat, during which CHUN-NI suddenly recalls that she saw FU-KWAI use a computer to do some digital image processing of a Logo, suspecting that FU-KWAI made forged documents. On the heels of his announcement of NIK-HANG's dismissal, WUI-HOI receives a text message from NIK-HANG.… ...

FU-LUNG asks LAM LING out and explains to her as to why he chose to help SZETO SHUN. Later on, he even takes out a ring, proposing marriage to LAM LING. On the other hand, CHUN-NI invites SZETO SHUN to a movie, but he looks a bit run-down and quite nervous. Moreover, he keeps saying that NIK-HANG jumped out of the boat and soon would be back to Hong Kong. Attending the court trial, WUI-HOI sees KAM-YIU appear on the public seats in the courtroom, and cannot help feeling startled. The case concludes, following which all of them run into NIK-HANG, who not only tells SZETO SHUN how remorseful he feels but also apologizes to CHUN-NI, FU-LUNG and the others. Because SZETO SHUN often suspects that NIK-HANG is up to something, he eventually loses it. As a result, the doctor prescribes some sleeping pills for both SZETO SHUN and NIK-HANG.… ...

With SZETO SHUN being taken under judicial custody, the police not only present evidence such as blood samples and fingerprints, but also indicate that according to the video surveillance system, a man who dressed up like SZETO SHUN left home the same night the crime took place. At that moment, SZETO SHUN's parents come to realize that the reason why NIK-HANG returned home is actually seeking to frame SZETO SHUN. Yet, NIK-HANG refutes this, claiming that his parents just favor SZETO SHUN over him. In the police detention room, SZETO SHUN is explaining the whole thing to LING-YEE and NGA-CHING. On the other hand, NIK-HANG receives a phone call from FAN FEI, who complains that he was taken advantage of by NIK-HANG. Having sensed something about NIK-HANG in his dream, SZETO SHUN knows that NIK-HANG is going to kill someone so as to cover up his crime.… ...
