When their car is devoid of gas, the Ahn family is left in the middle of Kyung-ju with nowhere to go. They meet a quirky local boy named Seung Yoon who feeds them. Jin Hee gets a call for an internship at a big company.

Nye Sang and and Kye Sang become closer when the Ahn family goes to the Yoons' house. Jin Hee runs into trouble on the way to her first day of work when she spots a familiar gangster. Ha Sun attempts to get the money back from the con artist who cheated her.

While at school, Ji Won finds a lost boy and Kye Sang comes over to assist. The Ahn family is forced to deal with the thugs coming to collect their debt. They hide in Nae Sung's secret space under his house. Ji Won allows Julien to stay with her.

Nae Sung and the family construct a plan to repair the damage caused in their attempt to hide from the debt collectors. Part of the plan involves them keeping the tunnel below the house open. Neighbor Ji Won is not interested in doing so until she hears Kye Sang lives next door.

The family's attempts to repair the bathroom go horribly wrong. They concoct a plan to know when the gangsters arrive using a signal from a gong. Things don't go so smoothly when the debt collectors actually appear. Jin Hee's job prospects are looking up when she gets a call about another internship.

When Yoo Sun advises that the kids start attending school locally tensions arise. Jong Seok wants to continue his hockey playing so his mother asks Ji Seok to deal with it. Nae Sang begins to worry about his health. As a safety net he befriends Julien, who shares his blood type.

Yoo Sun discovers that she is going into menopause. Nae Sung treats her insensitively, but tries to make up for it with thinly veiled kindness. While Soo Jung has an easy transition to her new school, Jong Seok is having trouble. Seeing him slacking off, Ji Seok takes action.

Ha Sun feels strange about her living arrangements with Julien. Things become more uncomfortable when Julien finds a bra lying around and embarrasses her. Nae Sang finds himself to be terribly bored sitting around the house all day. Kye Sang attempts to coach him in keeping himself entertained.

Tensions erupt between the family members when Soo Jung's new attic room is complete. Jong Seok attempts to use seniority to get the room, sparking a family wide dilemma. Kye Sang runs into Ji Won at a protest and the two share in an intimate conversation.

When the school is required to put on a play, Ha Sun and Ji Seok's contrasting personalities clash. Yoo Sun goes next door to borrow something and accidentally finds herself staring at Julien in the shower. When Nae Sung finds her, he is furious. Their tensions are taken to the family for discussion.

When they are forced to deal with a number of bills an argument erupts between Nae Sung and Kye Sang. Nae Sang sets out to get the 900,000 Won the family needs. Young Wook lies to Ha Sun about a black eye in order to impress her.

Jong Seok attempts to play hooky but gets caught by his uncle Ji Seok. When Ha Sun comes over to watch baseball with Ji Seok, she becomes closer with Yoo Sun. Jin Hee and Kye Sang are forced to make amends when a picture of the two comes out with a big headed Jin Hee.

As the family's dire financial situation becomes even more clear, Nae Sung decides to take major action. Fierce competition for their uncle's laptop is started between Soo Jung and Jong Seok. Jong Seok is angry at the methods Soo Jung employs, so he tries some alternative strategies in an attempt to come out on top.

Ha Sun and Ji Seok pay a visit to Kye Sang after Ha Sun is bit by a stray dog. Kye Sang's cheery disposition is not enough to dissolve Ha Sun's worries. While wallowing in the frustrations of her job, Nae Sung stops by and comforts Jin Hee.

Baek Jin Hee thinks that Yoon Kye Sang likes her after misinterpreting events. Yoon Yoo Sun urges a special test for someone close to Ahn Jong Suk and Baek Jin Hee has an odd dream.

When Ji Won and Kye Sang discover text scrawled on the wall of the underground passage, they wonder aboutits potential origins. After a particularly good day, Ji Seok gets a date with Ha Sun to top it all off. On the other hand, things are not going so well for Young Wook.

After Nae Sung runs into Julien at the sauna, he suffers the consequences of an intense back scrubbing. Nae Sung is determined to get revenge on Julien for the damage that he caused. Ji Seok becomes frustrated at the publicity provoked by Ha Sun saving Young Wook.

An argument erupts between Ha Sun and her roommates. Seung Yoon's appreciation for Nae Sang's catchphrase leads him to inquire about the origin of Nae Sang and Yoo Sun's relationship. Meanwhile, Jin Hee has trouble deciding which side she should be on in the argument.

When Seung Yoon declares the billiards skills he has accumulated with hours of practice, Kye Sang challenges him. After a messy accident Yoo Sun ends up wearing Soo Jung's school uniform. A boy with a camera mistakes her for a school girl and proceeds to hound her for a date.

After Ha Sun mistakes a photo op for an attempt at a kiss, Young Wook thinks he should have made a move. Seung Yoon realizes that he had the relationships of the Ahn family completely mixed up, and after a joke by Soo Jung he believes they are spies.

Ji Won's narcolepsy becomes worse, so Kye Sang and Ha Sun concoct a plan to keep her safe. Seung Yoon brings Nae Sang a Spiderman costume to disguise himself from the debt collectors. After performing an act of heroism, Nae Sang is inspired to be a better person.

Nae Sang's imprisonment leaves the family to deal with the problem. The music teacher Yoon Gun and Ha Sun are to write a new school song, but the process turns out to be frustrating. With a loan from Kye Sang, Yoo Sun sets out to make things right with the creditors.

Now free to move, Nae Sang looks for a job with great energy. When Kye Sang identifies his burst of energy as his stress being displayed outwardly, he arranges a half marathon for Nae Sang to get it all out. Jin Hee gets her first paycheck and has trouble balancing her budget.

After Kye Sang fools Jin Hee that he can read her mind using a magic trick, he decides to put on a magic show for the kids. Soo Jung and Jong Seok continue their bickering at school. Ji Seok takes it upon himself to make them reconcile.

Ji Seok runs into Ha Sun on the morning bus and they accidentally bump into each other. The encounter leaves him distracted. Yoo Sun starts experiencing memory loss and it causes problems. Meanwhile, Ji Seok and Ha Sun go to a child's first birthday together and Ha Sun gets sick.

When Ji Won and Jong Seok argue over the scooter, Kye Sang decides that Nae Sang should be the one who drives it. On the scooter, Nae Sang gives Ji Won life lessons on the way to school. Jin Hee figures out Ji Seok's feelings for Ha Sun and does her best to play match maker.

Ha Sun is starting to question her feelings for Young Wook, but does her best to like him more. Nae Sang decides he wants to start his business up again, but to do so he needs money. He takes on multiple jobs and ends up over working himself.

Kye Sang and Jin Hee plan an event for seniors that is a sort of dating game. When the scores come out for the college exams, Jong Seok is ridden with guilt as he tries to hide his poor scores from his family.

When the family throws a barbecue, the lights go out and Nae Sang and Kye Sang receive kicks to the rear from an unknown attacker. The gang sets out to solve the mystery, following a wacky theory by Seung Yoon.

Ha Sun is having a bad day. She is having trouble dealing with her out of control class. When she goes to a hair salon to brighten up her day, things get worse when she is mixed up with another client and ends up with a punk rock hairdo.

When Jin Hee is sleep walking she tells Ha Sun of Ji Seok's affections for her. Fortunately, or unfortunately, her message is cryptic and vague so it is unclear who has affections for her. When she overhears a phone conversation Kye Sang is having, she is convinced it is him.

Nae Sang finally has enough money to start a business casting extras. Young Woon and Ha Sun go out on a date before Young Woon starts undertaking some hardcore studying. The matching tracksuits they wear to the restaurant cause embarrassment and discomfort for Ha Sun.

When Jin Hee receives some constructive criticism from Kye Sang, she takes it the wrong way and attempts to sabotage his reputation as a doctor.

Jong Seok's scores on the exams are far higher than his previous attempt, so he gets some money from his praising family. Through a confused series of events his gift for Ji Won ends up in Ha Sun's hands and Jong Seok seeks to correct it.

Still embarrassed by his tutoring, Jong Seok fervently tries to hide Ji Won when his family comes home early. His schemes go awry resulting in a far more suspicious scene. When Yoo Sun gets a job selling juicers, her and Seung Yoon make a viral video on Julien's blog.

Together, Jin Hee and Kye Sang entertain kids coming in for vaccines. They later enter a dancing contest to win a prize. When Nae Sang is forced to give the lacking extras acting lessons, he finds one is a talented actress: Park Hae Mi from the first High Kick.

When Jong Seok and Ji Won are studying an unfortunate accident leaves Ji Won in a cast. The incident helps the two to get closer. Jin Hee gets accepted for a second round of interviews, but loses the wallet that Kye Sang allegedly made lucky with incantations.

Disappointed at not appearing on TV, Seung Yoon begins shooting his own home movie. His extremely thorough documentation of day-to-day life gets on the family members' nerves. Meanwhile, Ha Sun is reunited with Young Wook, who has come to see her before his exam the next day.

The broke Jin Hee struggles to afford a gift for Kye Sang, so decides to make one. Ji Sung, Seung Yoon and Jong Seok sing songs on the street to raise money for the clinic. Ji Seok struggles with the decision to give Ha Sun a gift, not knowing she is no longer with Young Wook.

With Jong Seok's grades improving, the Ahn family tries to think up a way to repay Ji Won. They agree to an absurd tiered reward system. Jin Hee tries to arrange a dentist appointment for Kye Sang, but his childhood fear of them gets in her way.

Nae Sang's business has trouble getting work after Yoo Sun's absence from a set. He and Seung Yoon entertain themselves by singing duets. Ji Seok finds out about Ha Sun's break-up and is unsure of what course of action to take. Meanwhile, Soo Jung starts a relationship with a clingy new boyfriend.

It is New Year's Eve for the family. Ha Sun and Ji Seok go out for drinks but Ha Sun loses her wallet when she dozes off. Nae Sang creates a kite for the family to write down their wishes for the new year, and Jin Hee comforts the homesick Julien.

Ji Seok tells Ha Sun to think over his confession of his love. Ji Won and Jong Seok move their tutoring sessions to the university, and Seung Yoon earns some admirers for his music.

Ji Seok is hit by a car as he tries to catch Ha Sun before she leaves for the United States. Jin Hee wants to change Ji Won’s mind about a possible move.

Nae Sang forgets a wedding anniversary as Yoo Sun wants to celebrate the occasion. Ji Seok realizes he did not bring his wallet and Ha Sun will have to pay for their meal.

Jin Hee goes with Kye Sang to the theater as a reward for the work she has done. Kye Sang is leaving for Rwanda but the news surprises everyone in the family.

Nae-sang takes pity on Julien and teaches him to play go-stop. Through Nae-sang’s instructions, Julien becomes proficient and is able to place third in a tournament. Meanwhile, Lee Juck decides to invite Jin-hee to lunch hoping to woo her as he thinks her more of a lady than her friends. Unfortunately, the lunch goes wrong when Jin-Hee irritates Lee Juck by asking too many questions about Kye-sang.

Yoon Gun is very edgy and upset about Ha-sun pushing him out a window. His frustration is furthered when his teachers only give half their attention to a song that he previews for them. Meanwhile, Jong-seok, still reeling from the news of Ji-won and Kye-sang, lashes out in jealousy and fires Ji-won from her tutoring position.

Ji-seok and Ha-sun decide to continue their relationship in secret until a time where they feel safe about making their feelings known. Elsewhere, Jong-seok continues to struggle with jealousy when Ji-won receives help from Kye-sang, and she makes a comment about how smart she thinks he is.

Jin-hee is feeling sad and lonely knowing that Kye-sang will be leaving for Rwanda, but decides that he must return to the clinic and she should spend as much time with him as she can. Elsewhere, Nae-sang and Yoo-sun are each enjoying the benefits of Nae-sang’s official status in the community.

Nae-sang is attracted to a nurse at Kye-sang’s clinic and attempts to impress her with his job. Meanwhile, Ha-sun and Ji-seok continue to adamantly deny they are a couple to friends and co-workers. However, they do not realize that their continued denial raises even more suspicion than it fixes.

Ha-sun and Jin-hee meet the Yoon brothers while out for a walk. They all decide to walk together but the brothers quickly do things both inadvertently and on purpose that annoy them. Elsewhere, Ji-won, who is a photographer, falls asleep on a bus and misses a job she agreed to do.

After graduating high school, Jong Seok's family convinces him to attend the academy. Unfortunately, Ji Won is now too busy to continue tutoring him. A temporary doctor is introduced into the clinic when they need more helping hands. It turns out to be an old colleague, and a fierce rivalry ensues.

Ji-seok takes Ha-sun out to dinner for Valentine’s Day, which leads Ha-sun to buy a box of chocolates for him. She later feels that her chocolates are not good enough and decides to give Ji-seok a bigger gift, which she spends all night making, only to lose it and spend all day trying to find it. Ji-sun tells Ha-sun that she feels like Ji-seok is having trouble getting over her. Other students hear this and rumors begin that reach all the way to Soo-jung’s family. Meanwhile, Jin-hee and Jong-seok confide in each other about their love lives and, after a few drinks, try shopping cart racing in an effort to cheer each other up.

Nae-sang gets jealous when people start to comment about Yoo-sun’s blog photo. He immediately demands she take it down, which she refuses, and a fight later ensues when he goes behind her back and does it himself. Elsewhere, Kye-sang helps Ji-won try to find parts for her old cell phone, which was a gift from her late father.

Ha-sun and Ji-seok finally make their relationship known, making family members more than curious about its beginning. They begin asking to many questions, which make Ha-sun feel uncomfortable and nervous about failing in the relationship. Meanwhile, Nae-sang and Yoo-sun fight about his relationship with Nurse Im and his lies about his whereabouts that day.

Ha-sun becomes stressed out as she cannot make certain boys in her class listen to her and Ji-sun continues to dump her responsibilities on Ha-sun. Elsewhere, Yoo-Sun mulls over who she is after a friend seeks to answer that question for herself and takes up a monk’s lifestyle.

Kye-sung is surprised and dismayed at Ji-won's assertion that she too is going to Rwanda. He attempts to convince her that her feelings are bound to change and that she should not go to Rwanda. Elsewhere, Yoo-Sun catches Nae-sung walking around with Nurse Im and starts throwing vegetables at him.

Soo Jung is having a bad day when she realizes the state of her finances, but it gets even worse when she gets stuck in an elevator. In the process she meets a young man that she decides would make a good boyfriend. Ha Sun helps Jin Hee work through her crush on Kye Sang.

Soo-jung, after seeing Seung-yoon accosted by some bullies, warns him that people tend to take advantage of him due to his nicety. Elsewhere, Ji-sun is mad because all the other teachers make her feel like an outcast, and they try to make amends with a blind date. Meanwhile, someone lies to Nae-sang about her figure skating abilities in order to be picked for a role in his television show.

Jong Seok gets a job as an extra, but the shoot is interrupted by a young girl named Hae Ri. A fierce competitive rivalry between Kye Sang and Ha Sun turns sour. Meanwhile, smitten by Jong Seok, Hae Ri follows Seung Yoon home in hopes of finding her crush.

Kye Sang turns to Soo Jung for advice on having a fun day out with Ji Won. When Ji Seok plays an embarrassing prank on Julien, it leaves him furious. Nae Sang, who seeks vengeance on Jin Hee, works together with Julien so they can get their respective revenges.

Jin-hee and Jong-seok talk about his feelings for Ji-won. Seung-yoon hears them and is upset that Jong-seok did not tell him of his feelings. He attempts to make it right by going to Ji-won and telling her of Jong-seok's feelings. However, he is suprised to learn that Ji-won already knows and has rejected Jong-seok.

Seung-yoon decides to enter a script-writing contest at a broadcast station. He produces a script but his father, Nae-sang, says that it is trash and no one wants to watch a show where everyone is happy. Taking his father’s advice, Seung-yoon creates a drama that is twisted with birth secrets, bickering, and negative drama.

When Seung Yoon realizes the difficulties Jin Hee faces, he takes it upon himself to care for and comfort her. Lee Juck on the other hand does not enjoy Seung Yoon's consistent appearances. When Julien and Ha Sun start developing a closer relationship it worries Ji Seok.

Jin Hee lands two job interviews but has difficulty choosing between the two. Jong Seok comforts her and gives her advice. Nae Sang's company happens upon troublesome times with a lack of work and upcoming loan payments. He goes around and attempts to get assistance from the members of the households.

Nae Sang's old business partner Woo Yeon calls and wants to arrange a meeting. The Ahn family prepares for all the potential scenarios. Later the two bond when out on an errand. With Ha Sun tired of Kye Sang's insistent teasing, her and Ji Seok concoct a plan to humiliate him.

The impatient Soo Jung starts taking guitar lessons from Seung Yoon. When Young Wook shows up and finds out Ha Sun is dating Ji Seok the two have a very tense encounter. Seung Yoon finds a notice he missed in the mail: He got drafted and his enlistment date is tomorrow.

The Ahn family finds a winning lotto ticket. The problem is they are unsure what to do with it. Nae Sang wants to invest it into the company, but some of the others suggest he pay Kye Sang back. Meanwhile, Jin Hee makes it to the final interview of her dream job.

When Jong Seok encounters a problem in his studies, Seung Yoon seizes the opportunity to bring him and Ji Won closer again. When Seung Yoon discovers Ji Won has a crush on Kye Sang he starts treating him coldly. Meanwhile, when Ha Sun is forced to wear unattractive glasses she decides to get laser surgery.

Now that Jin Hee has landed her new job, she says goodbye to her roommates as she is moving into a new apartment. Jong Seok begins to insistently tease Soo Jung for having a crush on Seung Joon. Later, the siblings fighting causes trouble at the family's celebration of Seung Yoon's birthday.

Ji Won sees Jong Seok's good test scores as he drops the paper. Lee Juck comes to the clinic but he is unhappy to hear that Jin Hee has quit.

Ha Sun goes to the United States as her mother experiences serious complications from a surgery. Kye Sang decides to stay in Korea as dangerous events change his plans about volunteering.

Ji Won talks to Jong Seok about living in a dorm as he works on entrance exams. Ji Seok misses Ha Sun and decides he will go to visit her in the United States.
