Sir LEUNG finds a few pills in the murder spot. The plastic pocket has the name 'TSUI WING BON' written on it. Simultaneously, the expert proves that the bullet in T AI's body is from T AI's pistol. BON is the suspect. The police arrests him. KWONG is BON's lawyer. The prosecutor provides evidence and witness against BON.

TING's statement could not provide an alibi for BON. SING recognizes that LAP is the real murder. SING has been to the Devil Mount before arrested. LAP is shocked. He immediately sends SING to the house of detention. The defendant needs time to contact another witness. KWONG requests the judge to postpone the court for a week. The judge grants the petition. CHUNG gives the statement that BON and TING were finding SHAN that night. However, his statement is not valid as he is a drug addict. The jury shake their head........ FONG eventually finds some evidence. KWONG thinks that those evidence could not help BON to appeal. FONG will not give up.

KIN and KEUNG see that CHUNG is carrying a satchel heading his way to the car park. KIN and KEUNG arrest CHUNG and YUNG. YUNG knew that there is something wrong. Some people is using YUN. She begs KIN to find out the truth. KIN gives all details in court regarding the drug trafficking deal between CHUNG and YUN. They are sentenced to be guilty. YUN claims that he is innocent. YUNG is very disappointed with KIN and proposes to separate with him. HANG's father is going to die very soon. His father asks YEE to advise HANG to reform himself.

YUNG knew that YUN is beaten to death in the prison. Her heart is broken............... KIN finds out that CHUNG was killed by YUN. YUN claims that CHUNG has framed him up. KIN has wronged YUN. KWONG requests the judge to delay the court for a month as they need time to find the female witness's divorced husband, CHUNG, to give statement at court. The judge allows to postpone the court for a week. KWONG finds that CHUNG is in France. He goes to France to find him.

KWONG eventually finds CHUNG. In the court, there is sufficient evidence to prove that BON is innocent. The jury decide that BON is not guilty and is released immediately at court. It eventually undresses the wrong for BON. Everybody is very glad. MAY arranges KIN and YUNG to meet. YUNG still does not forgive KIN and leaves. KIN is very upset. He drinks a lot in the pub. YUNG performs well at work. FUNG arranges YUNG and HONG to Shanghai for negotiating a business deal. YUNG agrees as she does not want to lose this golden opportunity. KWONG frankly tells FONG that he had given false statement to let the suspect, W AH, find not guilty. It is because WAH has helped CHUNG to make a false traveling document for BON's sake.

HONG tempts CHEONG. CHEONG is being trapped. CHEONG admits his bad deeds. HONG will tell SING the case. Unexpectedly, SING suddenly faints and is being sent to hospital. HONG does not want to make him so worry. Thus, he does not tell SING about CHEONG's case. The police invites CHEONG to the police station for investigation. However, they have insufficient evidence and set CHEONG free. YUNG goes to the hospital to get some medicine for his mum. She gets to know that KIN is staying in the hospital. She then visits him. She tells KIN that HONG was with her during the night of murder. KIN then knew that HONG has given a false statement as he claimed that he was with CHEONG that night. HONG asks YUNG to deny what she said.

KIN forces YUNG to tell him the truth. HONG struggles with KIN. YUNG fears that they will fight against each other. She then admits that she has lied. She even tells them that CHEONG had gone to his mistress's place. KIN is very confused. LAP resigns. He works in the bank. LAP is very ambitious. He employs WING to be his subordinate.

LAP takes the opportunity to expand his drug trafficking business. He ignores CHEONG. KIN sees that HANG is checked by the police. He feels very dissatisfied with him. YING sells his flat. With FONG's enlightenment, BON agrees.

LEUNG invites BON home to see BING. BING has reformed herself and is working at an insurance company. FUNG finds that BING was punished by her boss. She then knew that she has blamed BING wrongly. YUNG by chance finds KEI's heart shape key in LAP's car. She is shocked. YUNG suspects that the key is related to the kidnapping case. She gives it to HONG. HONG opens KEI's drawer and finds another bad deed done by CHEONG. HONG uses the key as an evidence to prove that CHEONG and LAP are in league in kidnapping KEI. And they even kill him. CHEONG admits. HONG questions LAP. LAP beats him. MAN's younger brother bank in a cheque issued by MAN. However, MAN's account is freeze. BON records MAN's identity card number at the back of the bank cheque and gives him the money.

YIN goes to see TING in the pub. She slaps TING. She claims that she will divorce CHEONG. TING is shocked. SING asks CHEONG what will he choose, money or woman? CHEONG is very confused.

MAO extorts five hundred thousand dollars from CHEONG and LAP with a cassette tape left by MAN. However, MAO was died in a car accident. The police starts to investigate. KIN demands FUNG to open the victim's save box. It may give them some clue. However, LAP forces HONG to take the evidence out from the save box before KIN arrives. YUNG discovers from the video monitor that HONG has taken a cassette tape away from the save box. Later, HONG apologizes to YUNG and explains. However, YUNG does not forgive him. HONG gives a cassette tape to CHEONG. HONG claims that he will do whatever he could to protect his father even giving up YUNG.

YUNG resigns and separate with HONG. SING tries to make YUNG stay but is in vain. CHEONG reconciles with YIN. TING is very disappointed. SHAN is aware that CHEONG has cheated his mother. She drives him away. HONG tells YING the truth. He admits that he had done something to make KIN and YUNG separate. Now it comes the retribution. YING worries that KIN and YUNG would reconcile. She feels very uncomfortable. HONG decides to leave Hong Kong. He hopes that CHEONG will drive LAP away and stops his illegal deal. He also warns FUNG to be cautious about LAP. LAP may become her enemy.

KIN takes time to entertain YING. They eventually reconcile. KIN suddenly receives a call from the headquarters during HANG and YEE's wedding. The forensic section finds out that a bullet in a robbery is belonged to BON's lost pistol. LAP is shocked. LAP is drunk. He throws an empty bottle into the sea. Unexpectedly, LAP sees the bottle again the next morning during low tide. LAP sees that the lost pistol has already fallen into the hands of the mainland rascals. BING by chance finds that LAP has an affair with a female star. She tells FUNG the case.

FUNG tells LAP that she has known the case. She also blames LAP who has received commission from the customer. He even makes use of the bank to help some firms to get rid of the illegal money. LAP is difficult to get at the truth. He thus resigns and separates with FUNG. KIN arrests the robber and send his pistol to the forensic section. They prove that it is BON's lost pistol. KIN and BON ask BIN. BIN tells them the truth.

YEUNG HUNG back to Hong Kong from Taiwan. He is bribed and is asked to be the witness in accusing LAP who had killed Sir T AI. LAP pays him double to make him absent in court. BON heard that LAP had bribed the witness. He devises to trap LAP. LAP bursts into HUNG's girlfriend's home to collect some evidence. However, BON arrived before LAP. LAP asks BON to give him a photo in which LAP and SHUN were together. LAP intends to destroy the photo and attacks BON. SING sees that BON is hurt. He sends uncle FU to teach LAP a lesson. FUNG tries to stop SING. LAP could then escape from the disaster. LAP is accompanied by the lawyer to the police station. His lawyer makes an alibi for LAP. His lawyer even charges CHEUNG with slander in a court of law. LAP makes CHEUNG lose the chance of promotion. CHEUNG wants to take revenge. BON stops him. YING worries about KIN. She advises KIN not to make LAP mad with him.

YING plays squash alone. LAP suddenly appears. He wants to reconcile with YING. YING refuses him politely. LAP does not give up. LAP is determined to reconcile with YING. He waits for her outside her office and sends flower to her. However, YING does not move at all. LAP is very determined. YING points out that she had once attempted suicide for his sake. She asks LAP could he do the same thing for her. LAP is in doubt.

KIN proposes to marry YING. He gives YING a wedding ring and takes wedding photo with her. SING sends CHEONG to U.S. for a business trip. However, CHEONG goes to Hawaii to see TING instead. Consequently, he has lost a big business. SING does not rely on him anymore. KIN and YING's wedding calls off. YING indicates to KIN that her birthday wish is that somebody would celebrate with her with fireworks display. However, KIN is too busy and could not fulfill her wish. YING is very disappointed. YING receives a bunch of flower with a card stating 'Wait for you in the Clear Water Bay!' YING thinks that KIN wants to give her a surprise. However, the card sender is LAP instead.

LAP celebrates with her with the fireworks display. He fulfills YING's birthday wish. YING is very touched. She embraces LAP. LAP is also moved. LAP loses a lot in property investment. Fortunately, he could overcome the difficulty with FUNG's help. LAP thanks FUNG. He promises that he will settle in Swiss and lives a new life. KIN sees that LAP and YING are dating again. He believes that something bad will happen. KIN keeps away from YING. YING goes to the police station to see KIN. KIN avoids YING. YING eventually separates with KIN.

CHEONG hopes that LAP will reconcile with FUNG. LAP is full of confident in reconciling with FUNG. FUNG receives a call from LAP. She hurries to the airport and stops LAP to go to Swiss. FUNG announces to the YIP's family that LAP and her has reconciled. All opposes LAP except SING. SING even encourages FUNG. CHEONG sells the Wah Yip Bank. He joins with LAP and spreads some bad news against the Wah Yip Bank. Consequently, Wah Yip Bank is acquired by the Pak Hang Corporation. LAP becomes the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Wah Yip Bank.

SING knew that CHEONG and LAP are in league. CHEONG is now aware that he was used by LAP. FUNG also awakes. She knows that LAP is using her. CHEONG tries to take revenge on LAP. They struggle in LAP's car. The car turns over and explodes. Consequently, CHEONG died and LAP was slightly injured. The mainland rascals, CHAN and HA extorts ten million from LAP. KIN heard the news. He plans to arrest them all by the time LAP hands over the money. LAP is out on bail. The police keeps his travelling document. The mainland rascals give false statement against KIN and accuse KIN who had wronged LAP. KIN is suspended from office. LAP heard that YING will present at court with a letter which would proved that LAP had made the rascals gave false statement. LAP is so angry that he pushes YING from the hilltop. WING arrives. He knew that something bad has happened. He makes it like a robbery case.… ...

HONG sends his subordinates to kidnap two witnesses. The investigation section then has insufficient evidence and cancel the charge against KIN. HONG tells BON that LAP is the one who killed KEI and persecuted CHEONG. BON grieves with pain. FU by chance eavesdrop the conversation. He leaves angrily. FU wants to knock LAP down by car so as to take revenge for KEI and CHEONG. Unexpectedly, the car is out of control. LAP could escape from death. FU is arrested. LAP denies that he had killed KEI. BON beats LAP. GIN also slaps LAP angrily. BON does not want to irritate SING. He thus asks everybody to conceal the truth from SING. BON does not want to see FU being sent into the prison. He arranges him to escape away. KIN heard the news. He asks BON about FU's case. BON admits. KIN agrees to let FU go.

KEUNG discovers that YING had used the Automatic Banking System in the airport before the accident. He reckons that YING had been kidnapped by somebody she was familiar with to Fei Ngor Hill. The police investigates LAP. He denies that YING had been to the airport. He even lies that YING was not present in the spot. However, KIN does not believe in LAP. YUNG finds a letter copy written by YING to KIN. She gives the letter to KIN. The letter had mentioned that two witnesses had changed their statement against KIN. KIN suspects that LAP is the one who pushed YING down the hill so as to conceal the truth. The lawyer tells LAP that they could not charge LAP if YING is still in coma.

KWONG is very sick. FONG sends him to the hospital. The doctor finds that KWONG is suffered from stomach cancer and he is in a bad condition. FONG worries a lot.

CHEUNG informs KIN that a cop SHEUNG has witnessed LAP with a lady at the airport. KIN arranges SHEUNG to see YING at the hospital. SHEUNG could not recognize YING. LAP is at ease. YING gradually awakes. KIN is glad. KIN asks YING who pushed her down the hill. YING could not remember. The doctor believes that YING is suffered from amnesia. KIN brings YING to the accident spot in the hope that she could remember what had happened. Meanwhile, LAP arrives. He fears that KIN will help YING remember the past. He forces YING to leave. LAP and YING struggle. YING withdraws frightenedly. She then remember the scene when LAP tried to push her down.

LAP is arrested and detained for 48 hours. He is then out on bail. LAP's lawyer accuses the prosecutor who had mislead the witness. The statement bought forward by the witness against LAP is also not strong. The jury judges that LAP is not guilty. LAP is released immediately after court.

KWONG is in a very poor condition and is sent into the hospital. Unfortunately, KWONG died before the birth of his baby. The managers of the Wah Yip Bank resign as they are very dissatisfied with LAP. BON questions LAP. LAP promotes BON to be the Personal Assistant to General Manager. In fact, he aims to weaken BON's power in the bank. YING's parent has bought a flight ticket for YING. They intend to back to Canada together with YING. YING requests KIN to take a walk with her in the beach so as to recall the happy memory. She also hopes that KIN could become her best friend. WING tells LAP that YING will leave Hong Kong tonight with her parents. A bad intention comes into LAP's mind. YING's mum finds that YING has disappeared when she came out from the fitting room.

YING sees that LAP is following her. She runs back home. She needs to stay in the hospital again as she is suffered from nervous breakdown. She cannot be irritated anymore. LAP is reluctant to give up. She goes to KIN's home to see YING. KIN lies that YING has already gone to Canada with her family. KIN conceals the truth from BON and LAP. BON suspends LAP from office temporarily. It happens as LAP expected. LAP accepts it with a smile. YUNG takes the initiative to clean up KIN's apartment. YUNG even hurts her foot when she is chasing a thief who tried to damage KIN's letter box. KIN knows that YUNG is still care about him. He feels very touched. WING eventually finds YING's whereabouts. LAP kidnaps YING and hides her in a villa.

KIN discovers that YING has disappeared. He suspects LAP. However, the nurse with serious short?-sightedness cannot recognize the kidnapper. LAP is found not guilty. Sir TSANG thinks that KIN should not get himself involved in this case which was not occurred in their region. KIN hands over the pistol and applies for a leave. YING escapes away from the villa. WING and LAP discover that YUNG had picked YING up. They chase YUNG crazily. YUNG hides YING in a petrol station toilet. YUNG then tries to divert their attention. WING stops YUNG by stopping his car in the middle of the road. YUNG crashes her car to a heap of rocks. YUN G becomes blind after this accident. KEUNG and CHEUNG go to see YING and her family off at the airport. YING excuses that she wants to go to the toilet and disappears. YING goes to see LAP. She pierces LAP with a sharp knife and then commits suicide by jumping down from the building. LAP's back is hurt.… ...

SING knew that LAP is the one who killed KEI and CHEONG. He orders Uncle BO to kill LAP. LAP could escape from death. He is only slightly injured. LAP knew that SING is the master man who want to kill him. He is determined to confront against the YIP's. SING is very angry with LAP. He wants to beat LAP. However, he is too irritated and faints. Consequently, he died of heart attack in the hospital.

BON is very upset. He is determined to get back what belongs to the YIP's from LAP. BON eventually got control in the Wah Yip Bank. LAP loses everything in a sudden. LAP had once used the deposit which is belonged to the Columbia Triad Gang which involved in the drug trafficking business. The gang sends people to kill LAP. Fortunately, LAP could again escape from death. LAP hates BON deeply. He wants to shoot BON to death. KIN rescues BON. LAP escapes away. LAP kidnaps YUNG and hides her in an empty flat.

KIN heard that YUNG has disappeared. He then goes to FONG's home to investigate. KIN got a clue from a taxi driver. The taxi driver tells KIN that he had given a ride to a man with the surname TSUI and a woman to the container terminal. KIN hurries to the container terminal. However, he finds nothing there. LAP even plays trick on him. LAP again is chased by the killer from Columbia. Two policemen save LAP. They bring him to the police station for an investigation. Unexpectedly, the police wants LAP to be their witness in prosecuting the Columbia gang. The police agrees to help LAP leave Hong Kong safely. LAP meets BON before he left. He tells BON that he had already killed YUNG. LAP is escorted to the airport. LAP goes to the toilet in the airport. KIN bursts in. He kneels down to beg LAP let YUNG go. Meanwhile, a cleaner (disguised by the Columbia killer) takes out a pistol. He shoots LAP twice........
