Noble Consort Gao continues to torment Consort Yu, although Yingluo remains vigilant to threats to her health. We are introduced further to Eunuch Yuan Chunwang, who suffers after being caught up in Consort Xian’s earlier efforts to assist a family member. Yingluo is entrusted with the care of the Emperor’s gift to the Empress.

The machinations of Noble Consort Gao and Consort Jia come to a head at the Empress’ birthday tea party. Consort Xian receives a solution to her money problems, but worries her integrity may have been compromised.

Consort Xian receives further troubling news about her family, leading the Empress to intercede in order to prevent further hurt. Yingluo makes a start on her reading and writing lessons.

Yingluo continues with her writing lessons, and is drawn to a night-time meeting by one of the Prince Ri’s guards. The Emperor makes a decision regarding Consort Jia, although Yingluo is critical of his approach. With an offering ceremony due to take place, Yingluo wonders whether the gathering of officials creates an opportunity for her.

Yingluo lays a trap during the sacrifice of the meat, If the emperor finds anyone has tempered with the meat then he will be furious and will punished anyone involved.

Concubine Xian comes to visit Jia in Lenggong. Jia becomes angry while pouring out her inner dissatisfaction and grievance, while ridiculing Concubine Xian's incompetence dealing with her family matters. In a brief moment Concubine Xian thought of everything she had experienced which push's her into a big reaction!

Yingluo gets help from Fu Heng to secretly investigate and find the truth about her sister killer, While the Empresses is away, Yugui suddenly goes into labor and shocks everyone in the Changchun Palace. Consort Gao demands immediate action on a gravely important matter.

Consort Gao argues that the Emperor should take swift action while Concubine Xian proposes to let the famous doctor Ye Tianshi from Jiangnan diagnose and treat the fifth eldest brother.

The Emperor come down with a strange illness as the Empresses and Yingluo go to take care of him. Doctor Ye Tianshi enlists Yingluo's assists for an unorthodox treatment.

Yingluo suspects someone has been secretly taking care of her during the night while she has been recovering. Mingu continue to disobey the Empress and takes her bad mood out on the Empresses other guests which causes unusually alliances that may have bad consequences. Everyone comes together to celebrate the Emperors birthday.

Yingluo proposes a temporary truce with Mingyu to try and find the missing Buddhist Stone. Noble Lady Shu try's again to shame the Empress and get Yingluo removed from the Palace in an attempt to gain the favor of Consort Gao during the Emperor's Mother's visit.

Consort Gao gets punished by the Emperors Mother. Noble Lady Shu apologies and comes up with a plan to try and enlist Yingluo's assistance in a lethal plot.

Yingluo get accused of working with Consort Gao. The Emperor meets with his brothers while more information about what happened to Yinguo's sister's get's revealed.

Yingluo sets a trap to try to catch the person who she believes attacked her sister.

Someone try to silence Yinglou and protect the Emperors brother. The identity of Yunluo's sister's killer is finally reveal.

Fucha Fuheng expresses his plan to the Empresses. While the Emperor suspects Yinglou might have an ulterior motive. The Emperor puts his suspension to the test.

Erching and Fuhang get married. Yingluo is allowed to visit the Empress if she follows the Emperors grueling task.

Yingluo goes back to try and help the Empress with her rehabilitation. Fu Heng's career is going well but he seems to be neglecting his marriage which leads to a troubling event with Erching.

Fuheng has strong words for Erqing as he reveal's his true feelings. Erqing moves back to the palace with a plan to get close to the Empress.

Erching seizes a chance to extract revenge in a plot against Fuheng. The Empress goes into labor as Mingyu and Yingluo assist the Empress as best they can. News travels around the Forbidden City but not everyone is happy about the new situation.

‎The Empress is heartbroken but the Emperor reminds her of her position and reasonability for the 6 palaces. Yingluo is still set to return to the place soon and will then discover all the recent events that have taken place in her absence.

Consort Xian get's promoted to become the New Empress. Yingluo is sent out of the Forbidden city to take care of her her true Empresses grave. After 2 years a royal visit to honor her memory takes place.

Yingluo makes a plan to get back to the Forbidden City with the ambition to help Mingyu out of trouble and perhaps find the truth behind what happened to her True Empresses son in that fire while she was away. With a possible promotion a good friend might be lost forever.

Yingluo gets her own palace in the Forbidden City. Her new life as a noble lady begins.

Yingluo soon gets bullied by other Noble Consorts with more status than her. Yingluo finds a way to deal with this current problem. Fuheng returns from his time in battle to see that not everything in the Forbidden City has stayed the same as before he left.

Someone is found possibly selling the palace's medicinal herbs, The Emperor orders an investigation. Bit by bit pieces are discovered but is there really something more sinister behind it all?

Yuan Chunwang decides to pledge his loyalty to another. Yingluo and Yanxi palace are quiet and lonely now without the favor of the Emperor. Other Consort's see this as an opportunity to bully members of the Yanxi palace. The Empress continues to pull the strings behind other people in the Forbidden Palace.

The Empress now with the Emperor's favor ‎continues her plot against the Emperor's mother. Yinglou never one to shy away from conflict try's to assist the Emperor's mother. A possible ally appears.

‎The Emperors Mother encourages Yingluo to return to the Forbidden city, as a new Noble Lady has entered the palace and is now favored by the Emperor. The Empress asks Yingluo to join an alliance to defeat the Emperor's new favored Lady.

Consort Shun gets questions by the Emperor's Mother. Hailancha will marry Minyu, but Minyu feels worried about the silver needle's still in her body.

‎Consort Shun gives Minyu a wedding gift. Yingluo prepares the wedding dress for Minyu. But Consort Shun words for Mingyu make her feel like she has no other option left.

Yingluo finally realizes that it was Consort Shun's words that caused Minyu to suicide by making her think it was the only way to escape from her current situation. Consort Shun continues her plot to sir trouble but look innocent.

Consort Shun plots to encourage Fuheng and the weak and starved Yingluo to escape the Forbidden City together. But her plan may in fact be a trap!

‎Finally the Emperor uncovers the truth behind the plot that involves Fuheng, Yingluo & Consort Shun.

Year's have passed, ‎The Emperor favors Yingluo the most. The Empress feel's her position has left her tired and aged dealing with the many issues in the six palaces. Now that the Empress begins to lose focus Yuan Chunwang starts to plot in the background using the Empress power secretly.

The Empress starts to worry about her looks and age more and more, which allows Yuan Chunwang to continue his plot from the shadows. He seeks to eliminate the competition of the royal brothers one by one.

The 4th brother try's to prove his innocence to the Emperor, Yuan Chunwang continues his plot and aims to focus on the Emperors brother and the Empress next.

Another royal brother is targeted, but there is no evidence for Yingluo to prove anything. Yuan Chunwan suggests to Prince He that he should stage a munity against the Emperor. Prince He and Fuheng have a disagreement.

All the pieces are in place for Prince He and the Empress to attempt their grab for power. Rebels attack the boat during the night, the plot has started!
