A Seven-Faced Man

Xinxin overhears the hospital gossip that she was dumped by her new boyfriend Haoyue. Xinxin retrieves the leather jacket Haoyue took from a gangster. She is later kidnapped and held ransom for the jacket.

Zhu Changjiang, Yizhen’s freedom personality, rides to the rescue of Xinxin who is being held by a bungling group of gangsters. Yizhen can not attend the Shen Group board meeting in his honor because Changjiang has taken over.

Yizhen finally makes the board meeting while still bleeding. Xinxin is recuperating in the hospital and discusses DID with Xiangrong.

Yizhen seeks out Xinxin to find out what Haoyue has been asking her. Xinxin has Yizhen act as her boyfriend so that she can stop the staff gossip about her being dumped by Haoyue. Dongjie’s assistant reports that Yizhen is dating a psychiatrist.

Yizhen overhears his mother, Luyie, his grandmother, Huizhen, and aunt Fan Qiuying arguing about his birth and loss of memory. Luyie is attempting to maintain her family status through blackmail.

Haoyue attempts to revive Xinxin’s memories from the past and choose between him and Yizhen. Dongjie continues to find evidence to discredit Yizhen. Xiangrong continues to investigate Yizhen for his next book.

After awaking dressed as Changjiang, Yizhen changes clothes in his car only to get caught by Xinxin and Xiangrong. Yizhen and Xinxin get locked in the wine cellar and Xinxin gets drunk. Xiangrong catches his sister all pucker up and trying to kiss Yizhen.

Haoyue goes on a rampage because Yizhen is seeing his girl. Yizhen wants Xinxin to become his secret doctor so that he can protect her. Doctor Guan wants her to transfer to John Hopkins for further training and get her away from the Shen family situation. Xinxin can’t make up her mind.

After confronting Yizhen, Dongjie finds some of his medicine. Lu Yue finds evidence in the basement that Xing Xing was there. Huizhen questions Boqian about how Yizhen is doing. Xinxin calls Yizhen to tell him she is transferring to John Hopkins but gets Mo Xiaojun instead.

Xinxin races to find Xiaojun before he commits suicide. Haoyue hires an investigator to find the missing child from 21 years prior. Boqian finds an opportunity to meet with the writer Mosaic. Yizhen goes on a blind date. Xinxin prepares to leave for John Hopkins.

Xinxin says goodbye to the family. Yizhen gets a new secret attending physician. Dongjie questions Dr. Guan about Yizhen’s treatments. Dongjie’s relationship with Su Wanyan is deteriorating.

Yizhen tells Wanyan that Xinxin is his girlfriend. After Mosaic’s book reading event, Xiangrong sees Xinxin assisting Yizhen. Luyue questions Boqian about whether he is on Yizhen or his grandmother’s side and threatens him. Mo Xiaona escapes from Xinxin and goes on a shopping spree.

Xiaona throws heart kisses to Ji Yi of Magic 4. Then it is a no holds barred cat fight with Xinxin as there are a lot of spitting, hair pulling and biting going on. Xinxin resorts to using a chair to win. Fan Qiuying and Wanyan go to an art gallery and luncheon as they discuss the upcoming marriage.

Xinxin spends a long day and night as Yizhen’s different personalities keep surfacing up. Xiaona falls for Xiangrong’s photo and claims him as her boyfriend. Changjiang makes her dance the night away. Later she spends her first day at the office as Yizhen’s secretary.

Xinxin gets chastised by Dr. Guan for not going to John Hopkins. Yizhen meets with Mosaic who turns out to be Xiangrong. Mosaic lays out prior conditions that must be met before he will sign the book rights over to Shuangcheng Entertainment. Dongjie proposes to Wanyan.

While Yizhen is mentally stressed, Haoyue takes control and Xinxin is worried he may never come back. Haoyue assumes the Deputy Manager’s position. All the girls are devastated by his good looks and charm while his eyes sparkle and his heart shaped palm blasts.
