Mama's Angel

Rafa is detained by the police for questioning. Nigist desperately seeks help and answers regarding his arrest, but receives neither. Having found an inexplicable toy in Kfir's bedroom, Yael begins an investigation of her own. Recovering from surgery, Naama discovers that the crime scene was not adequately handled, which troubles her greatly and needs her attention, but is she too late?

Yael needs to escape the pressure of well-wishers, journalists and curious onlookers. Returning to work, she confronts patient Sharon, who has been convicted of killing his children. A forensic team arrives to Yael and Eitan's home in the middle of Shiva to collect evidence, and finds Amnon sitting alone in Kfir's room. Naama continues her investigation and discovers more than she expected.

Detective Mendelovich follows Ruth, Orit's stepsister, exposing her bleak and complicated family history with Orit and Addisu. Jailed by the police, Rafa goes on hunger strike. After Amnon crosses yet another line, Eran insists it's time they put him in the care of professionals. Dina has other ideas. Naama proves a connection between the marks on the two bodies, but is met by barriers.

Nigist finds herself having to deal, not only with her son who is in prison and on hunger strike, but also with his father, Absi, who has suddenly reappeared in her life. Addisu is incarcerated, while Naama continues to insist there is a connection between the two bodies. Mendelovich won't stand in her way, but won't really listen either. Addisu and Rafa are suspicious of Naama's intentions.

It's ten days before the loss of Kfir. At school Kfir is unwell and collected early by an irritable Eitan. Sharon struggles with his life, as his ex-wife, Nirit's, continues to flourish both personally and professionally. Orit and Addisu have an altercation that turns nasty. Rafa and Amnon make a short trip to the post office, at the end of which Rafa's actual and surprising plans are revealed.

Four months have passed - it is the morning of the announcement of the verdict of Rafa's trial for the murder of Krir. Tension is high between Yael and Eitan. Naama offers Nigist help and Absi makes Rafa a promise.

Yael grow suspicious of Eitan and decides to meet with Rafa. When he realizes who Yael is, he hesitates, but she assures him that she's there to help. Nigist and Attorney Ohana also arrive at the prison to tell Rafa about the new leads in the investigation. Absi makes waves in the media when he comes forward with some sensational news, while Eitan is summoned for a polygraph test.

Gil becomes sacred and afraid of her father; he isn't who she thought he was. Another meeting between Yael and Rafa raises even more questions regarding Eitan, and even the media is revelling in the suspicious stories published about him. Yael encounters a frightened Nigist. The two women leave their homes to discover that shelter and solace can be found in the most unexpected places.
