Several weeks into the climbing season, Jeff and the team must rescue a Spanish climber having cardiac issues at 18,000 feet and a Chinese trekker suffering brain trauma on the way to base camp.

Jeff Evans and the team must go higher up Mount Everest to extricate the leader of a military expedition, an Indian climber frozen in the death zone, and a Sherpa battling an infection.

Jeff Evans and his team must rely on the Rescue Sherpa Team to bring incapacitated climbers from the death zone to the helicopters, including two snow blind Sherpas and a Slovakian team member taking a dangerous route to the top.

As the end of the Everest climbing season approaches, climbers race against the weather to reach the summit. Jeff Evans and his team must attempt one of the highest rescues in Everest history, and not everyone makes it home alive.
