High on his discovery with the Feldmans at the now named 'Americo Creek,' Americo reports back to the team at the miners meeting about his find. John is elated, and despite some naysaying from Gator, the entire team decides to go back to investigate.

Typically, miners believe that 'gold rides on an iron horse,' but this is not true for Greenland. Based on their resources and time, the miners, physically and mentally drained, search for what they know is on Storø: rubies and sapphires.

After having been battered by a massive storm, the miners must band together to fix the damage to their camp. Spirits are low, and tensions begin to mount as the team loses faith in its operation.

With only 10 days left in Greenland, few resources and no proof of any worth on Storø, the team has one last chance. Rubies are on the island of Fiskenaesset, but with only four spots on the helicopter who gives them the best chances of striking it rich?
