GUCCI gabs KAM’s hand and pushes him down before he can reach his gun. All pile up on KAM and get hurt in the process of what turns out to be a misunderstanding. Displeasure with KAM fills the heart of all. KAM proves to be an out-and-out destructive force in the family: he mistakes SARAH’s ginseng for rubbish and throws it away and messes up with MARCO’s DVD player.

KAM claims he works as an extra in the television station, but in fact, he plays a corpse. TODAY tells him that she is a promising talent of the TV station’s actors’ training school, but KAM holds her up to ridicule, calling her a professional extra. An over-the-hill movie star GEORGE MAN, affectionately known as Brother Eleven, is cast in a minor role but manages to steal the limelight from the lead actor. His arrogance angers the director and the cast, who decide to get back at him. KAM misses his bus home, and hatches a plan when he sees GEORGE. KAM sings out GEORGE’s famous tune “Brother Eleven” loud and makes a compliment on his car. His sweet-talking indeed works. GEORGE lets KAM sit behind the wheel. Agonizing on an empty stomach, GEORGE sees KAM preparing noodles next door and decides to pay him a visit. The KIMs frown at the uninvited visitor……

CHRIS helps out at Honey Cave as both HELENA and AH WONG are taking a day off. CHRIS chances on ATHENA during an errand. ATHENA mocks him for working as a humble delivery boy, but he is not prepared to stomach her insult. Back at Ka Yan Company, ATHENA treats everyone to tea after receiving a call. The person at the other end has just brought her the news of the closing down of CHRIS’s ballet company. Eavesdropping on CHRIS’s telephone conversations, GUCCI mistakes that he is willing to take up a job that offers a meager $6,000 monthly salary. ATHENA returns to the office but her colleagues act strangely. Dumbfounded, she learns that CHRIS is to join Ka Yan.

On his first day at work, CHRIS treats everyone to Honey Cave egg tarts. SUGAR embarrasses MARCO by asking why he never offers his co-workers the sweet treat. KELLY comes to his defense, to his comfort. The KIMs gather around the dining table, awaiting CHRIS’s return from the mainland. KELLY questions ATHENA’s real intention of posting CHRIS to the mainland, accusing her of depriving him from contacts with his clients. ROGER inquires about CHRIS’s performance and asks ATHENA to offer more chances to the newcomer. But ATHENA has a tough task installed for CHRIS…

GEORGE unwittingly learns of HELENA’s doubts over FRANCIS’s sexual orientation. HELENA even harbors the suspicion that GEORGE has been raising his son as a girl. Troubled, GEORGE turns to TAI TSUN for advise. TAI TSUN believes FRANCIS might have adopted an alternative lifestyle during his studies in England. FRANCIS meets KELLY when she is trying on some clothes. His hands are roaming freely on KELLY’s body. TODAY accuses him of taking liberties with KELLY under the phony license of homosexuality. But the three women present are unconvinced. KITTY walks past a bridal shop and fantasizes about her future husband…KITTY and KAM walk side by side on the street. KITTY cries out loud at KAM and accuses him of theft.

TODAY is displeased with KELLY that she goes on a shopping spree and spends a fortune with her credit card but bars MARCO from owing one. Angered by the comment, KELLY throws away the shoebox that keeps MARCO’s favorite robot. The shoebox turns out to the one that houses SARAH’s dearest possession — a puppet given to her by her late brother KAM WAH!

TODAY reveals that KELLY is the person who threw away SARAH’s shoebox. KELLY pleads for pardon but SARAH is unforgiving. She dashes to the kitchen to grab a kitchen knife. When things cool down, they learn the secret held between GUCCI and the shoebox.

SARAH and GUCCI are busy preparing their diet meals. But GUCCI’s determination is shaken by TSUN and HELENA’s sumptuous feast. She pours her tasteless porridge away. TODAY is drilling on her two-line dialogue, while GUCCI is happy announcing a five-pound weight loss. To help TODAY with her rehearsal, GUCCI volunteers to play a gunshot victim. Everyone praises her fine performance but she fails to get up…. In front of the women, KITTY expresses her eagerness to get married, even if it means becoming a stepmother. GUCCI asks KAM why he doesn’t have a girlfriend. He believes that women are born to control men and the consequences of approaching one are disastrous. KITTY and KAM meet again in a department store. The encounter costs KAM a fortune!

ROGER urges his daughter YEE to return to England and finish her studies in fashion design. YEE refuses as she has landed a job at V&C as a fashion designer, but ROGER opposes vehemently as he knows that her boss is a lascivious man. He talks her into working at Ka Yan and promises that he will keep their relationship a secret.

MARCO has received several wedding invitations. KELLY suggests that he wraps credit card gifts nicely and gives them as presents to the newly-weds. MARCO feels it is not right. TODAY says sarcastically that MARCO will leave an impression so deep that the couples will remember his stinginess till the day of their divorce. GUCCI suspects that a cheery SARAH is dating someone, but others are not so convinced. Outside a bank, GUCCI sees to her horror that SARAH, holding a passbook in her hands, is getting on a taxi with a man heading to a “love motel” in Kowloon Tong. GUCCI tells her three children and KELLY of her shocking encounter. News on the television tells of a swindler who targets housewives as his victims. The suspect is none other than the man in SARAH’s company. Just now, SARAH returns home with tears filling her eyes.

TODAY attributes her new radiant look to a certain whitening cream she bought from a non-authorized dealer sale. She tells a disappointed KELLY that the store is now closed down. KELLY gets wind that a certain whitening cream is sold at a cut-rate price and takes MAY along. TODAY joins the bargain hunt. KELLY jeers at TODAY and tugs with her for the face cream. The two women make a scene. YEE is folding paper planes of her design sketches on the rooftop. CHRIS unfolds the planes and praises her sketches. But a dejected YEE thinks otherwise.

Without wearing any makeup, KITTY takes the trash out. She bumps against KAM and loses her keys. KAM thinks she is an old lady and apologizes like mad to a not-so-amused KITTY. She confesses to a chance encounter with her ex-boyfriend. The KIMs can hardly believe their eyes when a handsome and rich ALEX drives a flashy car to pick her up.

KELLY finds out that ALEX is in fact a married man. She cannot bear to hide it from KITTY. But KITTY acknowledges the news matter-of-factually and says that she already knows it. Saddened by her desolation, KELLY and the other two women seek to settle scores with ALEX and threaten to make his life miserable if he ever cheats KITTY of money and love. Just then, KITTY shows up. ALEX takes out a ring and gives it to KITTY. She is overjoyed while the two women are shocked. KELLY scolds her for taking the insult but KITTY explains that ALEX’s wife has passed away. SEVENTH SISTER learns of an office assistant opening at her boss ROGER’s company and recommends KAM to him.

On his first day of work, KAM munches on his colleagues’ snacks, breaks down the copier and air-conditioner, covers up his negligence and shows no shame. Upon learning that the company upstairs has laid off almost half of their staff and finding that KAM has been looking over their belongings, they suspect that KAM is in fact spying for the boss.

GUCCI chances on YUEN YING and finding her the ideal daughter-in-law candidate, she uses every trick in her bag to match her up with CHRIS. ROGER dispatches CHRIS to Yuen’s Company to negotiate new deals and promises to take everyone on a trip when the deal comes through. CHRIS pays a visit to Yuen’s and is shocked by YING’s highhanded management style.

CHRIS and KELLY are about to present their proposal at Yuen’s but YING suggests they do it some other day as CHRIS keeps coughing. Fresh fruit baskets keep flooding in at the news of his falling ill. CHRIS is appalled to learn that his colleagues’ only concern is their promised trip. GUCCI arranges a cycling trip to the countryside for YING and CHRIS, but the trip ends with discord as YING falls down the bike under CHRIS’s supervision. CHRIS pays another visit to Yuen’s, and this time round, YING agrees to take their proposal into consideration. The staff at Ka Yan jumps for joy.

Yee learns unwittingly that CHRIS has administered the “beauty ruse” to trick Ying into signing the deal and frowns at CHRIS’s tactic. Dressed in his best suit, CHRIS attends Yuen’s annual dinner. FRANCIS volunteers to style CHRIS’s hair but rather carelessly sprays hairspray onto his face. Within seconds, his face goes bright red with rashes.

CHRIS returns home and finds the house decorated with round objects that symbolize marital bliss. Though embarrassed, he is appreciative of GUCCI’s gesture. GUCCI asks MARCO and TODAY to spy on CHRIS in the office. To decline YING’s affections for him, CHRIS asks YEE to pose as his girlfriend. He also offers to treat everyone to dinner as compensation. YING shows up at the KIMs and reveals her plan to leave Hong Kong. She asks to talk with CHRIS alone on the rooftop. Everyone is concerned with CHRIS’s safety.

KAM is a lazy, do-nothing at work but he serves KITTY like a slave. KITTY spends her days aimlessly as she waits for Alex’s news. Just as she is about to give up hope, Alex appears and proposes to her. She cannot make up her mind and seeks the counsel of MAY, KELLY and TODAY. The three women put Alex through tough tests but their union is ultimately destiny’s will.

KITTY gets back to KAM for ruining her marriage by stealing the toilets rolls from the gent’s toilet. SARAH gives GEORGE a hard time when he buys steamed rolls from Honey Cave. An over-the-hill actor WU YING visits GEORGE at Honey Cave and invites him to Hollywood to make a film. Overjoyed, GEORGE arranges for journalists to come for a photo session just as WU YING’s son takes his father back to the mental asylum. GEORGE is embarrassed, but SARAH is laughing hard.

The following day, GEORGE goes to work with a swollen face. He loses his role and starts acting strangely, even barking like a dog. The KIMs and SHEKs are concerned, believing that SARAH has a role to play in his weird behavior. KAM volunteers to investigate into the matter and learns his lesson the hard way.

GEORGE tries to organize his own fan club, and designates KAM as the president. KAM seizes the chance to swindle GEOGRE. The entire SHEK family is mobilized to track down a JOE, a longtime GEORGE fan, to replace KAM, and finds out that JOE is none other than SARAH.

While SARAH points her finger at someone’s irresponsible acts, GUCCI suspects that she had been dumped. One day, GUCCI chances on SARAH at the airport and deduces that PANG is the illegitimate son of SARAH and GEORGE. FRANCIS finds the possibility of having a new mother and brother very disturbing. FRANCIS meets SARAH and addresses her “mother”. This puzzles her deeply. She finally yields to their plead and offers her side of the story. Everyone laughs at the “humiliation” she suffered back then.

MARCO falls ill. KELLY tries to help by offering him a secret concoction, which further worsens his condition. The KIMs are displeased with MARCO’s subservience but he doesn’t seem to mind. He accompanies KELLY to KITTY’s home and labors for her with no complaints. The KIMs decide to boycott him.

KELLY makes a vow in front of her colleagues that she and MARCO will marry in three days. MARCO, however, is evasive and even avoids seeing her. Sensing something wrong, KELLY turns to a fortune-teller, who tells her that this is a bad year to marry and anyone who does so will lose everything to bad luck. Her colleagues plead that she takes her vow back but she is reluctant and unwilling to. KELLY overhears something that MARCO seeks to conceal from his family and her. KELLY fears that he suffers from an incurable disease.

KELLY finds out that $200,000 has gone missing from a joint account with MARCO and goes to the KIMs to seek the truth. MARCO confesses that he has lent the money to an old school friend SHING KWAN for his wedding. KELLY launches her secret investigation of KWAN, and thus instigates KWAN, who fumes at MARCO and threatens to ease their friendship. MARCO goes all the way to gain KWAN’s forgiveness of KELLY. They go to withdraw money from the bank but finds only $6 is left in the account.

The following day, MARCO asks KELLY the whereabouts of the money and KELLY tells him that she has lent it to a friend. Ignoring MARCO’s hostile look, KELLY suggests they break up. KELLY loses her life’s bearing without MARCO by her side but her ego prevents her from making up with him. MARCO’s melancholy also makes life miserable for the KIMs.

Complaining that she has no dates after work, KELLY forcibly takes YEE and KITTY as her mahjong mates. MARCO is mad at KELLY’s phony dates. CHRIS, FRANCIS and others take MARCO to a bar to drink his sorrows away, but everyone gets drunk except MARCO. KELLY lashes out at MARCO in her nightmare and is called by others a “vicious woman.” KELLY asks for MARCO’s forgiveness the next day but he appears not hearing her apologies and shoves her away.

YEE wears big fashion labels every day and arouses much attention among her colleagues. But YEE claims that her clothes are forgeries. KITTY and others want to purchase clothes through YEE, and ROGER senses troubles. CHRIS is displeased with the feeble explanations YEE offers for being late for work and forgetting to bring design sketches to an important meeting. CHRIS decides to fire her. She faints at the scene.

CHRIS realizes that he has wrongly blamed YEE when a nurse sends back the sketches and is overwhelmed by a feeling of guilt. YEE complains to ROGER, but ROGER thinks that the company is too small an arena for two capable persons and asks her to return to England. YEE’s lousy mood results in a loss of an order amounting to millions of dollars. ATHENA badmouths her in front of ROGER, who asks CHRIS to sack YEE. CHRIS listens to YEE’s explanation, and he can’t bring himself to fire her after learning that she is the breadwinner of the family.

CHRIS and YEE join hands to win the bid, thus sparing YEE from her ill fate. To draw inspirations for her work, YEE stays temporarily with the KIMs. GUCCI revamps her appearance and assumes the air of an educated person. Ever since YEE’s stay at the household, KAM feels awkward about every move he makes. One day, he wakes up and finds himself on the roof, believing it to be some supernatural forces at work.

Nobody at the KIMs believes in KAM’s encounter with ghosts. One night, while heading to the bathroom, TODAY sees to her horror a woman with long hair walking past her. Her screaming wakes KAM up, but KAM finds himself tied up in his bed. The KIMs cannot be more relieved when KAM asks to move out. CHRIS probes into the matter by recording events at night on a camera but meets YEE’s fists and kicks. It is then known to all that YEE sleepwalks.

KELLY returns from her business trip and brings the KIMs souvenirs. YEE grabs the presents for herself and infuriates KELLY. Fearing that her place will be usurped by YEE, KELLY makes life difficult for her by snatching the crystal plate a client gave her and showing it off to the KIMs. YEE breaks a glass tumbler. KELLY mistakes it to be the crystal plate and engages YEE in a fight. MARCO is pushed down and lands on the broken glass amid the chaos.

KELLY realizes that she has wrongly blamed YEE when CHRIS discerns the broken pieces are just glassware. ROGER reminds CHRIS of the importance of securing the order from A&B. FRANCIS overhears their conversations and learns that CHRIS has pledged to see the deal come through as condition to save YEE from getting the axe though YEE has no knowledge of it. FRANCIS asks if CHRIS likes YEE, but he denies it. YEE drags CHRIS to the rooftop in the small hours and talks enthusiastically about her latest inspiration — swapping of clothes among family members. CHRIS praises her originality. CHRIS and YEE go and sign a contract with A&B. The company staffs make life difficult for CHRIS, asking him to try on the clothes himself. CHRIS quietly bears the humiliation but YEE glowers at him. FRANCIS asks again if CHRIS fancies YEE, but CHRIS only says that YEE has a huge burden to shoulder, and asks him to keep the truth from her……

TODAY works as a part-time model at Ka Yan and makes sharp criticisms on FRANCIS’s tonal designs. FRANCIS rebuts her and derogates her work as amateurish. The two are at odds. TODAY announces her rights to decide, dispute, and be independent. The KIMs take it as her momentary tantrum and abide it. The family pool their money to buy lottery tickets but TODAY decides to act alone, claiming that she will buy a manuscript of the famous playwright FIFTEENTH SON OF EAST SEA if she hits the jackpot. Having won the third prize, GUCCI splits the money among the family. Each member buys a present and neglects TODAY. Dejected, TODAY is at once surprised and overjoyed when GUCCI gives her the much sought-after manuscript. She flips through the script and is stunned to see that the contents are repetitions of the first scene. GUCCI has bought her a counterfeit!

GUCCI comes upon a picture of TSUI, TODAY’s producer, and photos in which TODAY strikes sexy pose. KAM mentions that TSUI has a liking for taking nudity. Dumbfounded, GUCCI storms the studio and puts the session to a halt. CHRIS beats up TSUI in a fit of anger. But things turn out to be a big misunderstanding.

TODAY criticizes FRANCIS’s frog T-shirt pattern as banal. But MARCO and CHRIS point out that the frog T-shirts are massive hit in a Southeast Asian country because frog is seen as a lucky charm. The king even writes FRANCIS a letter to offer his compliments. TODAY receives a call from TSUI, who offers her the leading role in his new movie. TODAY is elated and treats everyone to seafood. MARCO hurries to the banquet with the ominous news that the king is furious at the red color FRANCIS used for the fog, which turns a blessing into a curse. The king not only cancels the order but also prohibits TODAY from shooting her new film on location.

TODAY and the three women work out at the gym and chance on FRANCIS. The old feuds play tricks on each other. KELLY suggests that they find TODAY and FRANCIS a common enemy so that they can turn feud into alliance. KAM is the unanimous choice. TODAY returns home one day and sees MICHAEL waiting downstairs with a bouquet of flowers. Her joy is cut short when FRANCIS returns and MICHAEL declares his love for him, forcing his lips on his. TODAY demands MICHAEL’s explanation. His words infuriate both TODAY and FRANCIS so much that they punch him on his face.

MARCO and KELLY visit the “Love Bell” and find TODAY and FRANCIS paying obeisance before it. The news reaches a worrying GUCCI. But the truth is finally revealed — she only gets close to FRANCIS to prepare for her homosexual part in her next film.

CHRIS introduces KITTY to his client ELTON, but ELTON takes MAY fancy and invites her to a cruise trip. MAY makes it clear that she doesn’t like ELTON and will not go to the date. The KIMs wonder what type of guys MAY falls for. MAY hurdles the railing in the middle of the road to retrieve a seemingly worthless plastic watch. TODAY witnesses the incident and believes the watch is a love keepsake. TODAY returns home and finds out that the watch once belonged to CHRIS and arrives at the conclusion that MAY has a crush on CHRIS.

KAM is running an errand when he meets an elderly woman begging on her wheelchair and decides to give her a hand. GUCCI happens to walk past the place. She brands KAM an unfilial son as neighbors scorn KAM for pressing his mother into begging. KAM’s kind act towards the old lady ironically earns him a good beating. GUCCI suggests the family have an outing to the Hong Kong Botanic Garden. But her eagerness is not matched by her three children. CHRIS and MARCO tempt TODAY with money so that she will company the mother to the outing. TODAY flops at her last scene. To help her immerse in the role, the director and the assistant do a clever trick but get TODAY very drunk on set.

CHRIS and MARCO return home and realize that TODAY has failed to show up at the outing. The four hear laughter coming out from GUCCI’s room and are stunned when GUCCI and KAM walk out together. The siblings plan to take GUCCI out but GUCCI has set a date with KAM for having Big Bowl Feast in Yuen Long. The siblings are stunned.

Alarmed by KAM’s lipsalving GUCCI on the phone and learning from SARAH that GUCCI is on the way to the bank to close her time deposit account, the siblings follow KAM hot on his heels to the ferry pier. There, GUCCI hands over to KAM a huge envelope filled with notes. The siblings snatch the envelope and rip it open. The mystery is solved as they see for themselves that the envelope is filled with nothing other than paper money offerings.

CHRIS, MARCO, and TODAY feel ill at ease as SARAH suspects that she is plagued with a series of illnesses. GEORGE mistakes her for a fat woman and makes her flush in embarrassment. He also boosts about nurturing and giving the first break to TSE SAU MAN, who now makes it to Hollywood. SARAH takes some medicine stealthily at night, thus confirming the siblings’ belief that she suffers an illness she intends to keep dark.

Prior to the visit of NG MEI LAI, CHRIS’s major client, the staffs at Ka Yan put away little ornaments of love to avoid offending the single woman. While discussing the design sketches with CHRIS, LAI is upset by YEE’s courteous manners toward FRANCIS and storms out. In order to secure LAI’s contract, FRANCIS is forced to either adopt an alias or resign from his job

CHRIS and others look for clues as to why SARAH falls out with KITTY. KELLY takes out a college annual and finds out that their friendship dates back to high school years. KITTY acts business-like towards KELLY and MARCO deliberately, while CHRIS searches desperately for a solution. KITTY challenges SARAH to a tennis match, and in the court, the two women explain why their friendship turned to feud. It all began from “The Old Virgin” contest….

ROGER plans to purchase a yacht for his staff’s recreations but is indecisive over naming her as “CHRIS” or “ATHENA”. ATHENA urges her colleagues to work overtime so as to impress the boss. While everyone is working frantically, CHRIS makes a reservation for a candlelight dinner and orders a lovely bouquet. He is in fact taking a client from Africa to dinner in order to expand their market to the continent. The proposals submitted by ATHENA and CHRIS bear some striking similarities. ATHENA angrily points her finger at MARCO for spying for CHRIS…

CHRIS is convinced that a spy has leaked out information to ATHENA. LILY emerges as the prime suspect after rounds of accusations and heated arguments. But they realize that they blame an otherwise innocent person as ATHENA heaps reproaches upon LILY for making only a minor mistake. GUCCI points out the three distinguished features of a spy. A new search has been launched, and this time, YEE, who winks at ATHENA, becomes the prime suspect.

Employees at Ka Yan all call in sick and shift their workload onto KAM. Running a fever himself, KAM laments his ill luck with romance when he sees KELLY nursing MARCO meticulously. The idea of marriage also strikes him. KAM evaluates the women of the company and concludes that YEE is the real gem. CHRIS is shocked to see YEE holding KAM in her arms outside a theater.

YEE seeks CHRIS’s advice on some clothes samples, but for a moment, he mistakes her for seeking counsel on going out with KAM. He advises her against acting compulsively. GUCCI returns home and sees KAM refurnishing his room. Fearing that he might stay for good, she dispatches CHRIS to act as a negotiator. KAM takes YEE to a roadside food stall for dinner. YEE cannot hold back her anger as some rascals refuse to pay their bill. KAM ends up being beaten up for her daring remarks.

Back at the KIMs household, the siblings discover that KAM has laid his hand on every single possession of theirs. KAM vows to seek out the ‘real culprit’ who has used his shaver to shave leg hair. Acnes scar KAM’s skin around the lips. He visits the clinic and chances on Kelly. KAM is convinced that he gets the acnes from her but the doctor’s diagnosis suggests otherwise.

KELLY fancies an expensive glass tumbler. She claims that it is flawed and thus presses the shop assistant to sell it at half-price. A robber snatches MAY’s handbag. KELLY gives chase bravely and retrieves the bag. All agree that KELLY has a guilty conscience. MAY gives a rare White Tiger phone card to MARCO. TODAY reminiscences on happenings in their childhood, and before long, it becomes obvious to her that MAY has a crush on MARCO.

TODAY seeks to verify her assumption with MAY, while encouraging her to show her true feelings. Solemnly, MAY makes her seal her lips. MARCO carelessly steps on MAY’s lunchbox. MAY’s mind travels way back to three years ago, when KELLY first entered Ka Yan. KELLY presents her well-mannered and gentle demeanor in front of MARCO.

TODAY and KELLY fight for a taxi. TODAY reminds MAY to be on her guard against KELLY, whom she believes has a crush on MARCO. MAY is skeptical. KELLY pretends to engage in a telephone conservation in which she mentions about a rare robot model and misleads MARCO to think that she is an ardent robot collector like himself. KELLY seizes the chance to take him along to collect the goods. Meanwhile, she gives MAY a free ticket to the cinema.

MAY’s thought travels three years back to the day of MARCO’s birthday: GUCCI had drawn a lucky divination stick for him, which suggested that the new year would be an auspicious year for romance. With her new straight hair look, MAY went to the KIMS. She was shocked to see that KELLY showed up with a curly hairstyle just like her former self. She had brought with her a birthday cake for MARCO and even kissed the birthday boy in front of everyone…. UNCLE SZE has picked up a latest robot model in the samples room. KELLY thinks that MARCO has bought the robot without her knowledge and breaks its head in a fit of rage. MARCO is horrified. MARCO meets a client on Cheung Chau with MAY pursuing all the way to the island bringing the documents he has left behind. But the two miss the last ferry back and have no choice but to stay in an apparently haunted villa. The chilling gusts of wind and the sudden telephone ring leave them in a cold sweat…

KELLY brings some souvenirs over to the KIMs. TODAY makes a startling statement about the night MARCO and MAY stayed over on Cheung Chau. She is also displeased that MAY didn’t seize the chance to declare her love. MAY explains that KELLY has treated her like a sister and she doesn’t have the heart to break them up. LAM SIN meets TODAY dressed in her rather common makeup and clothes and mistakes her to be a prostitute. TODAY is outraged by his comment. CHRIS and SARAH are hustling against each other. LAM YUK KONG thinks that CHRIS is a bully and punches him with his fist. It turns out that CHRIS is only trying to stop SARAH from munching on the moldy chocolate. SARAH is not pleased with KONG’s addressing her as an old woman. Inside the supermarket, GUCCI meets FA KEI SUM, a glutinous woman goes beyond her imagination.

SUM sees GUCCI and UNCLE SIU walking side by side affectionately, and thinking that she is an old prostitute, she reports GUCCI to the police who happen to be thrashing prostitution rings in the neighborhood. SIN, SUM and KONG are KELLY’s father, mother and brother respectively. By an odd coincidence, the two families go to the same restaurant. KELLY hastens her family’s exist to avoid their meeting and causing further conflicts. KELLY walks out of the kitchen just as SUM and others enter Honey Cave. GUCCI is stunned when she hears KELLY calling SUM mum.

TODAY claims that KELLY must break up with MARCO since her family has offended GUCCI. MARCO smells trouble after learning that the oven for baking Honey Cave egg tarts is out of order. At Honey Cave, GUCCI and others gather around the television set and watch the news of contaminated egg tarts with keen attention. The Honey Cave staffs criticize other restaurants for their poor hygiene and jump to their own defense.

GUCCI explains that because the oven has broken down, the shop didn’t make their own egg tarts on that day. MARCO confesses that he has bought the egg tarts from different shops for sale at Honey Cave. In a moment of impulse, SUM asks KELLY to break up with MARCO, an idea that finds accord with GUCCI. The parents take away their child respectively. KELLY is barred from meeting MARCO, but MARCO rushes to the LAMs against all odds. The lovers catch a glimpse of each other just seconds before the lift door closes. KELLY finds herself trapped inside the lift. When the door finally opens, the lovers embrace each other. SUM charges Honey Cave, believing that KELLY is pregnant.

KELLY admits being pregnant. GUCCI can do nothing but gives her blessings to the couple. CHRIS offers to furnish for their wedding expenses. MARCO is guilt-stricken. The KIMs discuss dowry matters with the LAMs. As presents for the bride, SUM demands a sumptuous banquet for 600 guests, one million dollars and half of the Honey Cave shares. Meanwhile, KELLY pretends that she miscarries. The doctor advises her to take a three-month leave, but she simply quits her job. KELLY tells SIN to sell his taxi and SUM to work as a domestic helper to support the mother and child.

KELLY stuffs herself with nourishing food prepared by GUCCI. As a result, she has put on massive weight and acnes grow all over her face. MAY wins a free trip to Japan in a lucky draw. TODAY urges her to go on the trip instead of being the bridesmaid. But KELLY mistakes the coupon for her wedding gift. KELLY takes MARCO to a new flat and expresses wishes for having a home of their own. MARCO worries that it will upset GUCCI. To declare their intention without hurting GUCCI’s feelings, they make an allusion to a pair of butterflies. GUCCI happily offers them financial support to make their dream come true.

SARAH takes out two jewelry boxes. KELLY is given the smaller one. She hears GUCCI mentioning about a dowry and believes hers is less precious than the bigger one. Much to her delight, the box contains a golden pig pendant. KELLY is so choosy about her wedding gown that none of the many gowns she has tried on seems to please her. But when it comes to selecting the bridesmaid’s dress, she hastily picks MAY a dress that resembles a nun’s gown. At last, the couple finds out that GUCCI is only paying for the refurbishing expenses of the newly-weds room, and not a new flat. KELLY wants to move to Tseung Kwan O, while MARCO fancies a new place in the Yau Tsim Wong district. KELLY hurries to the Housing Authority office where her parents are heading to sell their flat bought under the Home Ownership Scheme. When she sees them walking out of the office, her panic turns into disappointment.

MARCO summons the nerve to tell GUCCI their plan to move out. To MARCO’s relief, GUCCI is supportive of their decision. Rather unexpectedly, SARAH is very reluctant to see them go. She is so upset that she breaks into tears and cry and goes on to announce her intention to move out with the couple. KELLY and MARCO are jolted.

KELLY blames herself for engrossing SARAH and decides to give up her ideal marriage life and moves back to the KIMs. The four guys are having their groom and groomsmen talk while they meet BOON YAT SIN. BOON teaches MARCO the trick to make his woman a subservient wife — sitting the bride on a chair under which a spring tied to a pincer is placed. KELLY holds the belief that honesty matters most in a marriage, so she reveals to MARCO her first lover and MARCO to her his.

On their wedding day, the bridesmaids get a big red packet from the anxious groom. They also demand that MARCO sing KELLY a love song. KELLY rushes out of the room to put the action to a halt. The couple offers tea to GUCCI and other elders. GUCCI asks them to offer tea symbolically to her missing brother. KAM drinks it up advertently. At the marriage registry, the family witnesses a hilarious scene where the bridesmaid declares her love for the groom and thus ruins the day for the two families. When KELLY and MARCO make their vows, MAY storms in.

KELLY tries concealing some contraceptive pills but has dropped them on the floor instead. MARCO picks them up and tries slipping them back to his trousers but the pills land in a pocket of TODAY’s jacket. The suicide of a lovesick teenage girl makes the news headline. GUCCI is startled by the tragedy. When the family realizes that TODAY heads straight to the roof after returning home after work, they rush to her rescue…. GUCCI and the family gather for a hotpot dinner before the couple leaves for their honeymoon. A guilt-stricken KELLY finally reveals to all her lie about being pregnant. But all along, the family knows the truth even though they keep it to themselves to save her from embarrassment.

TODAY is displeased that KELLY shirks the housework and treats GUCCI and SARAH like maids. KELLY gets wind that the wooden box is an heirloom bequeathed by GUCCI’s great grandmother and will be passed on to a dutiful and diligent daughter-in-law. KELLY thus offers to do the housework, even prepares desserts and hangs up the laundry. GUCCI decides to bestow the box on KELLY. She opens it excitedly but the content shatters any fantasy she may have.

KELLY complains about KAM’s idleness and bad habits. She uses his racing papers to wrap mango peels and throws away his stinky socks. But her efforts do not pay off. KAM still leads her by the nose. TAI TSUN and others are trying hard to read the fading words and photo of an old identity card. SARAH comments on the person’s unsightly features. KAM joins in the guessing game. Only later do they realize that the I.D. card actually belongs to KAM. YEE suggests holding a birthday party for KAM. KITTY refuses to pay her share of money. While KAM is getting his round of birthday kisses, he is tripped over by a wine bottle and plunges straight to KITTY….

ROGER is proposing a wage cut of twenty per cent. FRANCIS gets wind of the news and breaks it to his colleagues. Kitty unwittingly reveals that she is the highest earning staff, though both she and KAM have claimed to receive only a meager salary. Maddened, ATHENA passes out. ROGER summons his staff. All read their letter with sorrow, except KITTY and KAM who are lucky enough to keep their present salaries. MAY opens hers and screams out loud…

Luck has not been on KAM’s side lately. But SARAH treats him exceptionally kindly. KAM blames KITTY for bringing him ill luck. He gets a fright finding that his peace charm has gone missing. CHRIS advises that KAM takes a few days off. KAM decides to spend his holiday on Cheung Chau where he will also attend a wedding banquet. A dejected KITTY also goes to the island for a break. A drunken KITTY enters KAM’s room. Thinking it is ALEX that is lying on the bed, she throws her arms around KAM.

The next morning, the naked KITTY and KAM scream and shout at the sight of each other. KITTY feels a sharp pain in her stomach. CHRIS suspects it to be a case of appendicitis. Words just escape KAM’s lips, saying that she already had her appendix removed. Holding a bright red brief in her hand, SISTER OI inquires about its owner. Again without hesitation, KITTY is able to tell that it is KAM’s belonging. It is only when KELLY notices a jade Buddha pendant on KITTY’s neck that KITTY and KAM find out they are wearing each other’s pendant.

KITTY intrudes the gent’s toilet to retrieve her butterfly pendant. She gets stuck as CHRIS and the other two guys walk in and gossip about the affair between the secretary and the office boy of their neighboring company. KITTY loses her spirit and appetite as she suspects that she is pregnant. Leaving the office, KAM, KITTY and LILY take the same lift. Without any warning, LILY is going into labor with the two assisting her.

KELLY and MARCO return to the office from hospital. They switch on the video recorder to play the message LILY has recorded for KAM. On the screen, LILY is cursing KAM for bringing her bad luck. During her pregnancy, she has always expected to give birth to a baby boy, which turns out to be a girl. KAM visits KITTY at her home. The two jump for joy when learning that KITTY is after all not pregnant. KAM chances on his ex-girlfriend AH HAN. HAN makes a mockery of KAM at the presence of her current boyfriend SIMON. KITTY shows up posing as KAM’s girlfriend and kisses and hugs him in front of everyone.

KAM is thankful for KITTY’s passionate kisses that heal his ego wound. But the gesture costs Ka Yan a five million dollar deal. KAM is filled with guilt. The two meet again in a crab specialty restaurant. Though their friendship grows by leaps and bounds, KAM goes shilly-shally at the reminder of an old man. This puzzles KITTY a great deal. The following day, KAM musters up his courage to declare his love to KITTY. But the two still play the odd couple in public. The colleagues eavesdrop on their heart-to-heart talk in the patterns room. The couple covers up their romance by shaking their fist and legs at each other.

To save face, KAM spends a fortune on a lavish night out with KITTY. Though KITTY’s lifestyle and social circle bear no resemblance to KAM’s, she tries her best to accommodate their differences. She splashes out on expensive clothes for KAM, claiming those to be counterfeits. KAM gives her bargain-basement dresses as gifts. Their swapping of styles takes their colleagues by surprise. Believing that KAM is extorting money from KITTY with pictures of nudity, they follow hot at his heels and find out the truth…

The KITTY and KAM romance doesn’t look too promising in most people’s mind, but KITTY refuses to dump KAM despite their persuasion. FRANCIS demands to know from GEORGE the identity of his mother but to no avail. To infuriate him further, GEORGE actually believes it is perfectly all right to bear a son out of wedlock. FRANCIS finds out that a Cantonese film star PO LAM used to be GEORGE’s best screen partner. He digs up some old newspaper clippings and a pocket watch and learns that the two had gone missing for twenty-four hours during a trip to Malaysia years ago. Disguising himself as a journalist, he interviews PO LAM. Spotting the same watch she carries, he is convinced that she is his natural mother.

CHRIS tries to sound GEORGE out but fails. TODAY takes him to PO LAM’s when the two witness her chasing off some swindlers pretending to be relatives of hers. FRANCIS becomes hesitant. GUCCI thinks that a sincere apology is the solution to reconciliation. TODAY hatches a plan in which she asks GEORGE to recite lines of apologies for an assumed audition tape, which will be played to PO LAM. But the lines are turned into chiding by GEORGE, who shows up unexpectedly. FRANCIS’ screaming for mother silences PO LAM and stuns GEORGE as the two engage in fisticuffs.

The truth about the enmity between the old screen partners is at last revealed. FRANCIS is distressed to learn that his birth mother was a pornography starlet. Though YEE and CHRIS are constantly at odds, they make a perfect couple on the catwalk. YEE is unhappy with CHRIS’ currying favor with their client MR NG. She would rather walk home than sitting in the same car with him. NG wants to ask YEE out. He even attempts to lure her over to his company with big money. CHRIS is alarmed. Thankfully, YEE fends off his advances with wits. Still, YEE’s hostility towards CHRIS has not diminished. She seizes every opportunity to poke fun at him.

YEE accompanies MAY to deliver a book to a friend of CHRIS’. During MAY’s visit to the bathroom, YEE has an encounter with the friend SAM. Meanwhile, MAY saves SAM JR. in another bathroom incident. SAM takes YEE fancy. But misconceiving that he is courting MAY, CHRIS pledges him his full support. SAM takes YEE to dinner at a curry restaurant. Despite CHRIS’ bribing the waiter, things don’t work out smoothly. SAM’s face turns chilli red from consuming the curries. MAY chances on SAM JR. again. Turns out this SAM is also not a fan of spicy food…

SAM JR. gets involved in another accident when seeing MAY home. During their wait for help, MAY loses her bracelet. While combing the streets nearby for her bracelet, they have found a handful of golden bracelets and necklaces. Back home, everyone believes that MAY has a wealthy suitor. TAI CHUEN forces her to dress up for her dates. YEE will only agree to work overtime if CHRIS buys her disserts, but CHRIS gets a bruise on his head in the process. CHRIS has gone through much trouble to redeem a cute chicken radio for SAM, only to realize that YEE is SAM’s object of affections….

Not able to enjoy a convenient lift as he used to, MARCO shows up late for a meeting and loses his client. ATHENA chastises him with harsh words, while his colleagues call him a loser. KELLY vows to buy a new car to address the injustice done to MARCO, by saving on dining out and going to work on foot. KELLY’s food in her lunchbox has turned bad. She insists to attend a meeting on her empty stomach and passes out on the street.

No sooner she strikes lucky and wins a car in a lucky draw, but she cautiously asks MARCO to keep it from his family and colleagues in case they all scramble for a ride. MARCO is filled with guilt. MARCO has left his car key in the house. KAM’s nonsensical utterances on the key almost expose their lie. One day, MARCO gets stuck in a traffic jam and has to crouch down the driver’s seat when his family walks past him. MARCO drives the LAMs to Sai Kung to have seafood and is shocked at the sight of GUCCI and others.

MARCO rakes his brain to conceal his ownership of a new car from GUCCI. But a clash later costs him a fortune to repair the vehicle. A ferocious-looking KONG is mistaken to be a pickpocket. Doubling KELLY’s embarrassment, ATHENA believes she has subdued a molester. Taking SHEUNG for a cleaner, KONG recites to him a list of Ka Yan’s top ten shortcomings. SHEUNG is outraged. KELLY loses no time to chase KONG out. KONG and MAY get trapped inside a lift. While the two try to find a way to escape, MAY gets hurt as KONG stumbles on her….

KONG is sacked for making irredeemable mistakes and injuring his co-worker. He idles away his leisure time by wrecking all the home appliances. SHUM hints at KELLY to find him a job at Honey Cave but the idea is tactfully turned down by GUCCI. KELLY finds it hard to get a job for KONG at Honey Cave: there is no way to get rid of the influential and high incoming earning TAI CHUEN and HELENA, nor can she find flaws in AH WONG’s work. Just then, AH WONG is held under the suspicion that he has stolen money for paying a friend’s debt. Angry at the unfounded accusation, AH WONG resigns. KELLY breaks the good news to KONG, but he rejects the offer…

KAM is on the verge of exposing KELLY’s conspiracy of posting fake recruitment ads for SARAH. She misleads KONG to believe that TAI CHUEN has been maltreating her in order to convince him to take up the job at Honey Cave to keep an eye on him. KONG’s thunderous voice gives the customers a flight. GUCCI and SARAH are victims, too. KONG purchases a set of advanced equipment to keep close surveillance on TAI CHUEN and gather evidence of his bullying acts. His silly acts make KELLY boil with anger. TAI CHUEN and wife attempt to get KONG sacked by adding laxatives to his food but their plan backfires….

TODAY is displeased with KELLY for taking advantage of the family. KELLY lines her own pocket by taking small changes from purchases she does for her colleagues, though she won’t admit it. KONG’s parents drop by at Honey Cave and entrusts some abalones to their custody. A hospitable KONG treats them to a big meal. TAI CHUEN comes seeking revenge and demands that KONG’s parents pay for their food. The situation soon turns into a farce. A furious GUCCI orders that no one should give away free meals from then on. KELLY’s colleagues teach her a hard lesson for taking advantages of them. The abalones have gone missing. KONG tells the police that TAI CHUEN is the real culprit, but the truth is…

The alumni decide to present the ‘Old Virgin’ golden plague to SARAH now that KITTY has a boyfriend. Frustrated, SARAH tosses the plague down a wishing well and curses that KITTY gets beaten up by KAM. When SARAH sees bruises on KITTY’s body, a fear for her curse and swear sends a shiver down her spine. She goes down the well to retrieve the plague and gets injured. She meets KITTY in hospital and at once rebukes KAM. Meanwhile, the plague slips out of the pocket….

SARAH avenges her insults on the KIMs one by one. KAM becomes the scapegoat of her misfortune. SARAH seeks a ‘bachelor women’ house but her unrefined speech repels the residents, who turn down her application. Ignoring the gossips rampant in the press, GEORGE coaches a newcomer PING PING on an intimate scene. This incurs SARAH’s displeasure. Later, she and GEORGE are wired up and lifted to mid-air and cannot get down. SARAH recalls her dream and is stunned to realize how similar it is to her predicament now. As a media hype, PING PING falsely accuses GEORGE of taking liberty with her.

GEORGE cannot prove his innocence and comes under fire when trying to save a little girl. SARAH learns of PING’s scheme and seeks to expose it, but her action only makes things worse. GUCCI and others cannot think of a solution. SARAH takes a page from an old Cantonese classic and prepares a casserole for GEORGE. It gives him diarrhea, but also because of this short break from filming, PING cannot apply her old trick on him. PING’s lie is exposed. But rather strangely, GEORGE only shows his gratitude to HELENA.

SARAH is torn between her dream and the reality. GEORGE emerges in her dream as her life-saving hero, but in reality, he never stops heaping criticisms on her. To get even with KAM who has inflicted injury on LILY’s daughter, CHRIS seeks to expose KAM’s phoniness in assuming the air of a highflyer in front of his mother SISTER SEVEN. But again, KAM turns the tables on CHRIS. GUCCI mentions something that arouses KAM’s suspicion of the real identity of his father. He follows SISTER SEVEN to her meeting with SHEUNG. SHEUNG gives her his promise to take care of KAM. KAM can’t help but think that the man is….

KAM tries to justify the secret held between his mother and SHEUNG, and convinces himself that SHEUNG gives him the book as a gesture to show concerns for his staff’s future. KAM has got a split headache. Remembering that SHEUNG has kneeled to pick up a book in front of him, he fears that it is the jinx for having the father to kneel down before the son. KAM closely observes their small gestures and is even more convinced that they are related in blood. KAM takes SHEUNG to Temple Street and teaches him to resort to the fist under difficult circumstances. Getting caught between two rivalry gangs, SHEUNG puts on a bold front. KAM shivers, as a massive fight is about to break out…

SHEUNG is worry about the head injury that KAM receives. KAM unexpectedly gets a pay raise and a promotion. At Ka Yan, he supervises everyone’s work as if he is the boss’ son. KITTY is perturbed about bringing KAM into trouble as she has the same clothes as ATHENA. KAM eases her of anxiety by revealing his identity as the boss’ son. LILY happens to overhear it. Believing that SHEUNG is going to buy him a big house, KAM threatens to move out the KIMs. CHRIS makes him sign a lease termination paper as confirmation. SHEUNG meets a traffic accident. Thinking he is critically injured, KAM rushes to his bedside.

SISTER SEVEN can hardly bear to hear KAM calling SHEUNG dad. She faints at the scene. Regaining her consciousness, she explains to KAM that he is only an adopted son and is not in any way related to SHEUNG. SARAH tidies up KAM’s room and declares the rebirth of the place. The KIMs amuse themselves by addressing KAM as the boss’ son while waiting for the most opportune moment to play trick upon him.

KAM consumes food of the entire KIM family in one single night and wakes up the next morning sick with a tummy ache. The KIMS pay no attention to his complaint and continue their countdown to his departure. KAM raises his arms and screams out. Everyone shouts out ‘Uncle’. A hair-removing cream has revealed a distinguished birthmark on his arm, from which they learn of his real identity as FU, GUCCI’s brother.

To save up for a golden watch for her future mother-in-law’s birthday present, SUGAR eats only leftovers. It startles KITTY, who reveals to KELLY and others that she has actually never met SEVEN SISTER. KELLY thinks that KITTY has no formal status in the family. They arrange for KITTY to meet SEVEN SISTER. The mother forms a good impression of her, thinking she is about the same age as KELLY. KAM welcomes the mistakes and dares not tell the truth. During dinner at the KIMs one night, SEVEN SISTER at last finds out about KITTY’s age and denounces her openly. The meeting ends on an unhappy note. The family reprimands SARAH for smirking at KITTY’s misfortune without knowing that she has a very good reason to.

SEVEN SISTER’s rejection makes KITTY brokenhearted. KELLY, TODAY and MAY try hard to think of a solution. The mother is startled by the bruises all over KAM’s body. BOON YAT SIN prophesizes that KAM will meet head on with a life-threatening crisis unless he is protected by a python. KAM tells the mother that luck has not been on his side ever since he broke up with KITTY. A man takes down the fortune-teller’s signboard, calling him a sham. SEVEN SISTER also believes that the fortune-teller is a swindler until she learns it to be a ploy of KITTY. KITTY gets her just scolding.

FRANCIS has a crush on TODAY. GEORGE jokingly says that he has a tempting heart. FRANCIS criticizes the wardrobes of the various women. Though TODAY has no distinct style of her own, she wins FRANCIS’ praises, which surprises everyone. FRANCIS intends to purchase TODAY’s star photos but has bought an adult VCD by mistake. He goes to visit TODAY on set but instead bumps into GEORGE, who embraces him and mistakes it to be a friendly visit to him. Seeing TODAY harassed by her match TAI TAU MAN, FRANCIS could only fantasize playing against her in a film.

FRANCIS feels rejected and loses his appetite having watched over an intimate scene between GEORGE and TODAY. GEORGE understands the young man is troubled by an unrequited love and invites him to vent his anger on him. FRANCIS simply ignores him. Getting wind that the KIMs are offering disserts on the house, He hurries to his next-door neighbor. No one compliments KELLY’s red bean soup except MARCO; similarly, TODAY receives no applause for her puddings except from FRANCIS. TODAY is furious after learning why FRANCIS washes down her disserts. She sets out criteria for an ideal lover and indicates she won’t choose FRANCIS as her boyfriend. FRANCIS is upset.

TODAY asks him to behave as usual since the last thing she wants is to let others know of his love for her. Still KELLY senses something unusual is going on between the two. Back at Ka Yan, a lovelorn SUGAR is reduced to tears. As no one dares to keep her company, TODAY makes FRANCIS stay by SUGAR’s side. Remembering FRANCIS’ encouraging words, TODAY pulls off a fine performance and accomplishes a very challenging scene. She treats FRANCIS to dinner but he leaves halfway through the meal and rushes to SUGAR’s side. TODAY burns with jealousy when she sees SUGAR weeping on FRANCIS’ shoulders.

FRANCIS looks exhausted after staying up with SUGAR the whole night. While others think that FRANCIS is taking advantage of her vulnerable state, TODAY is convinced that SUGAR will not fall for him. TODAY arrives at Ka Yan and sees SUGAR holding FRANCIS’ hand. The colleagues announce the birth of a new office romance. TODAY returns SUGAR’s complimenting remarks on FRANCIS by listing out his weaknesses. It’s only then TODAY realizes there is nothing going on between SUGAR and FRANCIS. Meanwhile, FRANCIS, who has been sitting at a table behind, hears TODAY’s accusations and storms out the place. TODAY tries to offer her explanations but to no avail.

CHRIS sees YEE buying rotten fruit from a hawker and thinks she is broke. He chances on a former staff and learns that he lost his job owing to his poor marketing skills. CHRIS worries for YEE and specially arranges her to meet a client alone. An ill-prepared YEE is all of a tremble but denies she is not up to the task. She uses nervousness as an excuse and blames CHRIS for setting her up.

YEE is upset with CHRIS for making a fool of herself. But the women consent to his challenge given to YEE. ATHENA’s rebukes to CHRIS seem to find accords with YEE. YEE is to meet a client but is forced to get off the taxi which breaks down on the road. She drops her sketches when trying to hail another taxi. TODAY and FRANCIS are taking a ride on CHRIS’ car when they happen to see her. Frightened, they drive off in full speed, creating a gust that swirls the sketches up the air. CHRIS gives YEE a warning letter for failing to turn up at the meeting.

The superiors of FRANCIS and YEE are swapping places. FRANCIS is glad that he no longer has to put with up ATHENA’s temperament. YEE is also pleased that she will work under a new boss. Before long, she is taught a lesson or two by ATHENA’s nasty tactics. Meanwhile, KITTY’s and KAM’s affair goes stealthily. KITTY is worried when KAM is pressed by the mother to visit a fortune-teller. She follows KAM and his new acquaintance to an apartment. Flying into a rage, she charges the room and gives KAM a good scolding. It is but a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, the mother also learns thereby that the couple has never broken up.

SEVEN SISTER has been showing KAM the cold shoulder for days. KAM receives a big parcel one day. He opens it and an awful stink fills the air…inside the box were the presents that KAM had given SEVEN SISTER over the years. YEE complains to SHEUNG about ATHENA, also requesting to launch a new product line on her own. SHEUNG tries to pacify her by saying that he needs time to think it over. When SEVEN SISTER asks SHEUNG to sack KITTY, SHEUNG proposes to fire KAM instead.

SHEUNG challenges YEE by making her pledge to find a job in two weeks or return to her studies in England. ATHENA has FRANCIS labor for her work, even doubling his workload. His colleagues are concerned. When CHRIS discusses with SHEUNG about FRANCIS’ situation of working under two bosses, ATHENA demands he hire a new designer. Without luck to land a job as the deadline approaches, YEE is anxious. She gives GUCCI some woolen yarn as a farewell present. The idea inspires CHRIS, who hatches a plan to get her reinstated. YEE successfully seals a deal and returns to Ka Yan with a big smile on her face. Her colleagues are shocked.

KAM claims talking to ‘KITTY’ despite the telephone line has been cut off. CHRIS and others agree that KAM suffers from hallucinations. KAM insists that the best cure is to immerse himself in work, though he misses KITTY even more terribly. KAM deduces from the incoming phone number left on MAY’s phone that KITTY is calling from Cheung Chau. Having found KITTY, an emotional KAM shouts at her, asking her to come back with him. While the think tankers gather to find a solution for the star-crossed lovers, SEVEN SISTER drops by and shows a radically different attitude. They wonder what she is up to.

On the roof, SARAH overhears GEORGE and WU YING reminiscing on their past. YING was GEORGE’s mentor and gave him his break in the showbiz. She is moved by their friendship. Later, GEORGE is implicated by YING’s troublemaking at the station. The press dubs the duo ‘The Dumb and Dumber’. TAI CHUEN blames YING for smearing GEORGE’s reputation and fears that nobody will offer him a job again. Turns out it is a blessing in disguise. The TV producer drops by at the family with an invitation to GEORGE and YING to co-host a comedy show.

GEORGE receives full support from the family for hosting the show with YING. SARAH prepares him breakfast but is scolded by him. During the shooting, the duo is subject to the director’s yelling and the production assistant’s bullying. BROTHER TAI DEI, allegedly an established actor in Hollywood, returns to Hong Kong to look for actors. He tells GEORGE that his stature will give him an edge in the overseas market. GEORGE is overjoyed, believing that he is in luck. While waiting to make his successful comeback, he watches the news and realizes that he has lost $300,000 to a swindler.

To pay his debts, he resorts to making adult movies despite the discriminations his family and friends hold against him and the jeers of his peers. Finally, a fan letter brings him surges of joy and surprise. In the letter, the devoted fan said that the money needed to pay his loan has been deposited into his bank account. GEORGE has no idea who that person is. GUCCI urges him to take good care of himself and suggests they take care of each other. GEORGE believes that GUCCI is the fan without knowing that it is in fact someone else.

FRANCIS notices GEORGE’s strange moves as he puts away a huge box of ‘tempting hearts’. GEORGE thus tells him that GUCCI takes him fancy. The rumor reaches FRANCIS, who then shares it with TODAY. The lovers ponder on the weird idea they will become siblings by marriage when GEORGE and GUCCI tie the knot. TODAY investigates into the truth of GUCCI’s transfer of $300,000 to GEORGE’s account, but her plan is discovered by CHRIS. She tells him her concerns, with KAM eavesdropping on their conservations. The rumor finally reaches KITTY and MAY. All give their blessings to GEORGE and GUCCI, except TODAY and FRANCIS.

GEORGE accompanies GUCCI to a Cantonese Opera performance but dozes off and twists his neck. GUCCI suggests having Chiuchow food or curries after the show. GEORGE is troubled to learn that they have no common interests. CHRIS and KAM urge GEORGE to find a way to end their relationship before further damage is done. TODAY and FRANCIS decide to tell GUCCI about their love. Despite the many setbacks in life, SARAH is determined to take fate in her own hands and contends with GUCCI for GEORGE’s love.

Francis has prepared an exquisite dress for TODAY’s new commercial. However, LOI HEI appropriates the dress and makes a pass at FRANCIS. Her advances infuriate TODAY. FRANCIS makes up an excuse to visit the KIMs, hoping to placate TODAY, but she slams the door at his face. Several days later, GEORGE moans about FRANCIS’ negligence of him since he has a girlfriend. This serves to confirm TODAY’s suspicion of FRANCIS’ unfaithfulness. She follows him to a meeting with a girl and bawls out at him.

HELENA’s application for a credit card is met with TAI CHUEN’s opposition. She tosses out in a fury. The next day, TAI CHUEN goes to the waterfront and sees the body of HELENA floating on the water. Dumbfounded, he returns home to see a completely soaked, pasty-faced HELENA sitting on the couch. GEORGE and FRANCIS get a fright as they see UNCLE MING and a glamorous-looking HELENA going out on a date.

KAM shows off a golden necklace he has bought for KITTY. SARAH comments sarcastically that the necklace is so light that it can be blown away effortless. HELENA maintains that only a two-carat diamond will impress her. FRANCIS and GEORGE again chance on HELENA and UNCLE MING walking arm in arm in the streets. They can’t help but notice the glittering diamond ring on her finger and decide to tell TAI CHUEN about their affair.

TAI CHUEN and the father and son speed to UNCLE MING’s home to expose their adultery, but the trio get beaten up in a park en route. HELENA returns home and finds her ring missing. She banishes the trio. SISTER OI fends off TAI CHUEN’s advances on MAY but realizes that it is a misunderstanding on her part as the two are in fact father and daughter. Already distributed by the dissimilarities between his daughter and himself, TAI CHUEN is further frustrated by his failure to obtain MAY’s hair for a genetic identification to prove their biological relationship.

MAY has secretly prepared TAI CHUEN a present for his upcoming birthday. Incognizant of MAY’s thoughtfulness, TAI CHUEN becomes critical of her. He cuts a lock of hair from her head for the DNA test while she is asleep. But the scene of a father and daughter enjoying familial bliss reminds him that love is thicker than blood. He decides to ignore the test whatever the result is. FRANCIS and GEORGE take TAI CHUEN to launch a raid at UNCLE MING’s flat. Spotting the two dancing, the trio is determined to catch the adulterers red-handed, but more surprises are installed for them.

YEE wants to find herself a referee for competing in a design contest. CHRIS thinks that she is deemed unsuitable for a contest and tries to dissuade her, but her convincing words change his mind. YEE struggles to come up with a design, and in her extremely confused state, she ruins all the office appliances. She loses the contest, despite being the favorite. Still, YEE is grateful for CHRIS’ comforts.

YEE is moved when learning that CHRIS nearly lost his job because of her mistake. Love breeds from gratitude. CHRIS is alarmed by news report of flooding in YEE’s neighborhood. He rushes to the temporary shelter but YEE is nowhere in sight. The two meets in the rain, and their love grows by leaps and bounds. CHRIS wants to take YEE out on her birthday but is stunned to see her walking on SHEUNG’s arm on that day.

KELLY and MARCO return from a business trip. The office folk find fault with the stingy couple, who hasn’t brought them any souvenirs. A gorgeous PAULINE offers CHRIS a generous contract. YEE pleads with SHEUNG to retain CHRIS, but with no success. To remedy the impacts of CHRIS’ departure, SHEUNG hires DICKSON to serve as CHRIS’ assistant. YEE makes her fondness for the new guy known, much to CHRIS’ disappointment.

DICKSON each gives MARCO, KELLY and others a gift. His generosity wins the colleagues’ unanimous praise. This fills CHRIS’ heart with distaste. YEE asks CHRIS if he is to join PAULINE’s company. Instead of answering her question, CHRIS asks her if she is leaving. Their dialogues are ended abruptly by FRANCIS’ sudden appearance. YEE bitterly announces her plan to organize CHRIS’ farewell party after overhearing his conversations with PAULINE. However, CHRIS indicates his staying at Ka Yan for a special person. The following day, CHRIS discovers that DICKSON is sneaking sketches out from Ka Yan. SHEUNG fires DICKSON and reinstates CHRIS.

CHRIS plans to take YEE out for celebration, but while shopping for a present, he sees YEE buying a men’s watch which later appears on SHEUNG’s wrist. While all female colleagues have voted CHRIS as the “Sexist Man of Ka Yan’, YEE casts her vote for SHEUNG. She even kisses SHEUNG as he gives her a necklace as present. CHRIS is astounded by their intimacy.

CHRIS is heartbroken to see YEE kissing SHEUNG. YEE waits eagerly for CHRIS in the restaurant, only to realize that he will not show up after reading a cell message he sent out. Feeling numb and rejected, YEE stands in the streets in the pouring rain. When SHEUNG seeks to learn a trick or two from CHRIS on how to dump a young woman, he receives a good scolding. However, as CHRIS tries to verify if the young woman is in fact YEE, SHEUNG is visibly offended by his suggestion and warns him to guard his tongue. MAY is going through a spell of bad luck. BOON YAT SIN asks her to find a ringer before calamity strikes.

MAY hesitates to find a scapegoat to drink a concocter made with ashes of a charm, AH KONG gravely downs the potion by mistake. MAY asks SIN for an antidote. SIN instructs her to keep pestering KONG, but KONG mistakes her to have a crush on him.

GUCCI misconceives AH WONG’s help rendered to a friend as his scheme to smuggle illegal goods and fires him. But she takes pity of WONG and rehires him after seeing him feeding on leftover French fries in the streets. KONG thinks that MAY takes him fancy as she takes surreptitious glances of him in a diner, offers him an umbrella in the rain, and rolls about in his bed.

When KONG shows up to pick her up from the night school, MAY is so shocked that she nearly faints. She finds out that CHRIS has sold her out and makes him treat her to dinner as compensation. Upset that MAY would rather have dinner with CHRIS than with himself, KONG vents his anger on CHRIS by punching him to the ground. MAY has no choice but to spill the beans to KONG about the potion and her backfired plan.

Business at Honey Cave is bogged down by overstaffing and skyrocketing costs due to AH KONG and AH WONG’s repeated mistakes. GUCCI decides that Honey Cave will be split into two zones and designates KONG and WONG to each oversee a section. SHUM asks leniency from GUCCI on KONG’s behalf and urges her to give him an important position. But when KONG offers help to a passer-by at the expense of losing the company’s money, the KIMs’ unanimously agree to sack him. This decision seems to agree with KONG’s determination to leave and to work for a “Big Brother”.

SIN, SHUM and KELLY go to a teahouse. SIN tries to reason with the manager as they spot a fly in their tea but gets beaten up as a result. As SHUM is denouncing SIN’s meekness, a $1,000 note slips out of her pocket. SIN picks up the note. KELLY and MARCO pity his dire circumstances and give him several thousand dollars respectively. SIN’s heart goes astray.

SHUM gets wind of KAM’s taking SIN to a mahjong game. Irrespective of the right or wrong, she rains blows on KAM and starts a feud with him. SHUM deliberately chooses to lodge with the KIMs to contend with KAM for the family’s favor. SEVEN SISTER arranges to take KAM to meet with their benefactor, who is none other than SHUM. SHUM exploits their meeting to poke fun at him, but KAM tolerates it.

SHUM boldly criticizes the diet and the decor of the KIMs. The family is compelled to stomach her insults. KELLY and MAY split the cost to buy a training cycle, which is later installed at MAY’s home. SHUM has reservation over KELLY’s friendship with MAY and questions MAY’s motives. When she learns from a neighbor that the training cycle bought with KELLY’s money is now placed in MAY’s flat, she sneaks into the house and intends to take it away. HELENA gets wind of SHUM’s moves and dashes home, only to discover that the training equipment has been dismantled. She wrestles with SHUM.

KELLY and MAY rush to hospital and see SHUM and HELENA ignoring the wounds they received in their censures of each other. A jade Buddha in a department store catches both the eyes of SARAH and GUCCI. The two treat each other courteously over a meal but are mistaken as lesbians. Their muddling explanation only confuses the matter further. SHUM makes the Buddha over to sow discords between SARAH and GUCCI.

SARAH strikes against GUCCI’s unfair treatment and threatens to migrate to Canada. GUCCI fears that SARAH will find it incredibly hard to adapt to the new environment and mobilizes the entire family to assist in her emigration. SARAH learns from SIXTH AUNT that she has wrongly blamed GUCCI. With SARAH gone, the family take out the money collected for SARAH and starts counting, only to be interfered by the sound of weeping coming out from a room.

SHUM has outstayed her welcome at the KIMs. To get rid of the loathsome guest, the family throws a sumptuous dinner at Green Light Restaurant for SHUM and SIN, hoping that they will reconcile over dinner. MARCO tracks SIN down and urges him to make up with SHUM. Instead of joining SHUM for the dinner, he is competing in a Mahjong King Contest the very same night. In his winning speech, SIN thanks his wife for leaving him and the family and thus giving him the chance for making a successful comeback. Enraged by his speech, SHUM decides to file a divorce.

SIN takes the mahjong table in a mahjong establishment and wins game after game. A fire breaks out at the premises. While crawling along a drainage pipe to escape from the fire scene, SIN is stepped on the head by a woman. The two fall down the ground and land with the woman’s skirt wrapping his head. KAM happens to walk past the scene and foretells that SIN will be plagued by three years of ill luck.

SIN gets in his car in chase of SHUM. His eyes rest on a picture taken thirty years ago which captured a glimpse of his glorious days as a top racer. Charged with the boldness he once had, he speeds up the chase but a traffic car reaches him first. A former secret admirer bails him out. This arouses SHUM’s jealousy and ironically hastens their reconciliation.

TODAY and GEORGE are assigned to co-star in a new filming project. Their intimacy makes SARAH green with jealousy. TODAY has picked up a computer-generated photo of a couple’s future child. Finding the idea exciting TODAY brings FRANCIS to take one for themselves. SARAH chances on them and learns of their secret affair. That night, TODAY takes the photo she picked up the other day to a specialists for reverting. Rather shockingly, the “parents” are revealed to be SARAH and GEORGE. Just then, SARAH stands in front of her holding a fruit knife in her hand…

SARAH coerces TODAY into arranging a romantic rendezvous for her and GEORGE. To make sure TODAY comply, she threatens to concoct a folk potion cooked with toads and makes FRANCIS drink so as to mess up with his male hormones. She even makes her change GEORGE’s sheet and pillowcase. GEORGE’s sudden appearance throws TODAY in panic. She takes his yellow sweater in a flurry. Just as a terrified TODAY is expecting SARAH’s punishment, the sweater brings SARAH a surge of joy.

MRS HO and her daughter are negotiating business deals with SHEUNG. The daughter thinks that the samples SHEUNG has put on are outdated but gives compliments to CHRIS’ smart outfit. She signs the contract with CHRIS without hesitation. KAM warns CHRIS against stealing the boss’ thunder. In the restroom, CHRIS has just applied facial mask on his face when MAY rushes about to evacuate the office after noticing a gas leakage. He refuses to leave.

CHRIS and YEE are waiting for their client MR LEE to show up at a restaurant, but LEE fails to show up for the meeting. Afraid to let past events get to them, they immediately check the bill and leave, only to bump into each other in a different restaurant. Not much later, CHRIS again chances on YEE in a shop where he rents an umbrella. The two end up walking in the rain under one umbrella. YEE finds CHRIS’ gesture very moving. The news that YEE’s taking a few days off leaves CHRIS in a disturbed state of mind. He drives home en route Crouching Dragon Villas where he catches glimpses of YEE standing on the balcony of SHEUNG’s flat. The sight shatters his heart.

Instead of giving YEE the watch as a gift, CHRIS offers it as a prize for Ka Yan’s anniversary lucky draw. CHRIS is at once surprised and thrilled that YEE becomes the watch’s lucky winner. It also becomes clear to SHEUNG that YEE fancies CHRIS.

YEE admits to SHEUNG her love for CHRIS but urges him not to interfere with their relationship. SHEUNG is impressed by CHRIS’ meticulous care in picking out the shredded chili from YEE’s takeaway. He tries to find out more about the young man’s character. When CHRIS and others go to a restaurant for lunch, a waiter who used to be a fashion designer tells CHRIS his plight for falling in love with the boss’ mistress. SHEUNG inquires of CHRIS about his feelings towards YEE but CHRIS admits to loving FRANCIS to avoid getting others implicated.

SHEUNG sets up blind dates for YEE. Much to her annoyance, the men all resemble a puritanical scholar. YEE seeks to learn CHRIS’ feelings for her from SHEUNG, who frankly tells her to get CHRIS out of her mind and meets someone else.

SHEUNG applauses KELLY’s performance and entrusts her with the order from MRS MA. This jars on ATHENA, who tries to dampen her spirit by calling MARCO and FRANCIS useless. MR MA aspires KELLY to think big and introduces her to FRANCO, a well-mannered, easy-going young man who easily makes MARCO pale before him.

KELLY’s daring attitude to voice her protest at ATHENA’s overbearing attitude wins the admiration of her colleagues. To show gratitude for FRANCO’s assistance, KELLY treats him to dinner when a fire breaks out at the restaurant. FRANCO steers her out of the scene. KELLY is deeply impressed by his extraordinary calmness. HELENA tells the KIMs about a rapist dressed in a raincoat on the loose. KELLY represents the family to attend a meeting held by the incorporated owners. She returns and announces that one hundred dollars will be deducted from the management fee. But the good news comes at an expensive price — a security guard, cleaning persons and repairmen — their work is to be borne by all the flat owners.

TODAY meets the alleged rapist at the staircase. CHRIS and MARCO dash to her rescue and each passes a jolt at the black-garbed man, who turns out to be KAM. GUCCI and SARAH get tripped over by the garbage accumulated along the staircases. KELLY asks MARCO to accompany her to a cocktail party at the launch of the company’s new yacht and reminds him to dress smartly. MARCO shows up in a tuxedo but is mistaken by the master of ceremony to be the magician invited to give a performance. It hugely embarrasses KELLY in the presence of FRANCO.

KELLY returns home, evidently having had a glass or two as the odor of alcohol suggests. MARCO retrieves a message that reads “Missing You” on her cell phone and suspects FRANCO to be the sender. He sinks into grief…. MARCO and CHRIS chance on KELLY and FRANCO in a restaurant. He notices that FRANCO’s wallet is the twin half of KELLY’s coupling wallets; KELLY carries home a bagful of seductive lingerie but leaves home hurriedly. Believing that she is joining FRANCO for a rendezvous, a furious MARCO gives chase…

MARCO hails a taxi to follow hot on KELLY’s heels as she has gotten on FRANCO’s car but soon loses track of them. Later FRANCO, rather improperly dressed in his nightshirt, drives KELLY home. MARCO chastises her for meeting with a guy bringing along her nightdresses…. FRANCO takes KELLY to the CEO room and asks if she is happy with the decor. It occurs to her that FRANCO is raiding KA Yan on its staff. LILY, GIGI and SUGAR beg to leave with her but an arrogant KELLY belittles them as minor staff and refuses. MARCO accompanies KELLY to Mo’s Company to sign her contract. A sign “Filial Piety Charity Foundation Chairman” posted outside the CEO office startles them.

An important Japanese client MR KIMURA takes his family along during his visit to Ka Yan. But he is appalled at KAM’s selfish acts and thus forms a negative view on KAM’s family members. To prevent further conflicts, SHEUNG demands CHRIS and others to surrender their holidays in lieu of KAM’s suspension from work. KIMURA brings his wife to Honey Cave and indicates his interest to pay a visit to the KIMs. CHRIS urges KELLY to leave home with KAM. CHRIS takes the KIMURAs home. A blast shocks everyone. They turn around and see a bound KAM falling out of the closet.

KAM has purchased a lot of tonics, hoping to make a good profit from reselling the goods. But his face pales at the news which reports the seizure of fake tonics. KAM gnashes his teeth with hatred after learning that he is left out by CHRIS and family from their sumptuous abalone and shark fin feast.

KAM walks past Lo Lam Restaurant and storms into the reserved VIP room where he devours the dinner before the KIMs arrive. KAM entices his colleagues to bet on horse races by setting up a fung shui formation in the company. ATHENA’s excruciating screams echo through the company: the formation throws her off her balance and she trips over it. KAM slips a silk scarf he has found under his sweaty shirt. Walking past an off-course betting branch, he places a bet and gains a windfall of nearly $10,000. He recalls that luck has been on his side ever since finding the scarf. As he sees others searching for their client MADAM PUI’s missing scarf, he resolves not to yield his lucky charm. Just now, ATHENA shouts command at KAM to surrender the scarf.

KAM puts the scarf on a table. A thrilled ATHENA loses no time to put it. KAM vows to retrieve it from her. As ATHENA is hassled by a man, she asks KAM to pose as her boyfriend to chase the man away. KITTY follows them to a restaurant and pleads with ATHENA to surrender KAM to her. KAM seizes the chance to snatch the scarf as the two women wrestle with each other. At the same time, a dark secret long kept by ATHENA is revealed.

KAM’s eyes meet the malignant gaze of an old lady while taking the same lift with her. ATHENA tells KAM that the scarf was her late grandmother’s love keepsake and warns him of upsetting the soul of the dead. The old lady asks to meet KAM the very same night. KITTY believes that his gesture has infuriated ATHENA’s dead grandmother and volunteers to disguise as him to attend the meeting. As the old lady angrily threatens to “drag him down,” KITTY gets down to her feet and pleads to suffer the consequences in KAM’s place. KAM turns up just then, revealing to the old lady a brief pasted with a charm.

HELENA and TAI CHUEN ask TODAY for tickets to a music variety show. KAM gives the sarcastic comment that friendship is meant to be abused. MAY cries a scream of dismay when she bumps into a voyeur in the restroom. SAM Jr., who happens to be fixing water pipes nearby, charges the restroom for MAY’s rescue. MAY learns that his real name is MAI KWAI. She treats him to dinner for coming to her aid. KELLY looks down on KWAI for his lowly status as a plumber, but all female colleagues rebuke her jeer. Later, MAY meets KWAI at the engineering department. KWAI aspires to become an inventor and when he asks MAY what aspirations she has, MAY shakes her head, though she does say she has a dream to fly. KWAI promises to make her dream come true.

HELENA and TAI CHUEN treat KWAI much friendlier, only because they want him to fix some electrical appliances. MAY suspects she has arthritis. KWAI immediately gives her a newspaper clipping that contains information on the illness. Fearing MAY will become an old maiden, the couple sets up a blind date for her. But MAY is scared by the keen suitor, who fires at her questions regarding her hobbies and preference for the gender of her child. KITTY, TODAY and KELLY again set up a blind date for her. MAY agrees to attend the meeting.

MAY’s blind date turns out to be AH CHEONG. Yet he swears that he would rather die than marry her. MAY feels blessed being treated with exceptional courtesy by the guys she has met during the day. She is devastated to learn that KITTY and KAM have bribed them all. KITTY, TODAY and KELLY resort to drawing lots to decide who will keep MAY company at the weekend. MAY shows up in a sexy dress. Before she turns around and leaves, she indicates she has a date. MAY sits alone in a park. KWAI turns up, having seen through that she is not meeting anyone. A man named SUN FU carrying a child on his back approaches MAY and asks her for cab money.

The following day, SUN FU shows up at MAY’s office to return the money and has brought her a bouquet of flowers. He even asks her out for dinner. KWAI has scepticism over SUN’s claim of work in a garage. When SUN’s wooden hut is ruined in a fire, MAY offers him money. SUN asks MAY to stay over in his temporary apartment. Again, KWAI comes to her rescue in the nick of time. The meager $500 TODAY takes home displeases KELLY and triggers a confrontation between two women.

TODAY has rashes caused by the dodgy sanitary products used at home. KELLY taunts her with stinginess. GEORGE slips up in the street and falls down a gutter. While recovering in hospital, he is outraged by the headline on a magazine cover. PRODUDER TSUI pays him a visit and offers him the role of the “Gutter Man” in a newly launched children show. TODAY cries her eyes out in front of FRANCIS after learning that the director has removed her role from the cast list. FRANCIS pulls a publicity stunt for her but his plan backfires. TODAY is suspended from work.

When she finds out FRANCIS has orchestrated the plan, she breaks up with him. During the shooting, the director criticizes TODAY for failing to carry her role as an old prostitute. TODAY ventures to Temple Street to study under SISTER HA, a veteran of the profession. Her acting at last wins the director’s applause.

TODAY brings SISTER HA a cake as a token of appreciation. From her, TODAY learns that FRANCIS has conducted a research in the area, and immediately she regrets failing his kind intention. KELLY has been collecting ring-pulls to redeem prizes. Much to her delight, UNCLE CHAN and the water delivery boy FAI give her the ring-pulls they have saved up. KELLY is indignant that SUGAR earns the reputation of a “dream woman.” KAM sums up the three qualities of a dream woman: tenderness, stupidity and a great body. CHRIS and MARCO couldn’t have agreed more. KELLY’s gaze rakes MARCO and silences the trio.

WING has returned from Australia and asks to meet MARCO. She tells him that she is getting married and asks to take the jade butterfly pendant back. MARCO seizes his intimate moment with KELLY to take off her necklace, only to realize that the pendant is not fastened to it. MARCO racks his wits to come up with a way. KAM takes out a pouch of “itchy powder.” When KELLY switches on the fan, the wind raises a powder dust all over on the KIMS, causing everyone to itch like mad.

The KIMs have exhausted every means to make KELLY take off the jade butterfly necklace. WING goes to Ka Yan with the purpose of getting the jade pendant back from MARCO. When KELLY, MARCO and KAM return home, they are confronted by a robber who has broken into their flat. KELLY gives up all her valuables to the robber. WING sees her beloved jade butterfly in the robber’s possession and knocks him down. She also reveals dating with MARCO once. MARCO meets VICENT on a business deal. CHRIS warns him against pushing down the prices. WING tells KELLY that she has a crush on CHRIS; but all along, MARCO believes that WING likes him.

CHRIS still nursing a grudge against CHRIS over WING, he spurns at the warning. CHRIS hurries to the airport to sign a deal with MR LEE, but his car breaks down and he can’t find a taxi. MARCO also hangs up on him. MARCO returns to Ka Yan and only then he realizes that his act costs CHRIS a big business. MARCO receives a good scolding from CHRIS for his immaturity and partiality. He returns home in a lousy mood. The falling out of the brothers throws the KIMs into a panic. SARAH regards it as unfilial behavior towards GUCCI.

KAM each writes an apology card to CHRIS and MARCO assuming to be the other brother. He pretends to suffer from cancer but his masquerade is soon exposed. SHEUNG has high hopes for the Industry Soccer Challenge Cup, but with the Ka Yan dream team comprising CHRIS and MARCO falling out, they suffer heavy defeat.

Back at Honey Cave, CHRIS and MARCO are sitting in their respective enclave. SARAH heaves a deep sigh. GUCCI calls SARAH, saying that she will bring home an aunt. GUCCI, the aunt and her two grandsons arrive. GUCCI hopes that CHRIS and MARCO will join hands to punish the two mischievous kids. Rumor has it that Honey Cave is closing down due to the rivalry between the brothers. At last, they seek out the gossipmonger, VINCENT, and teach him a hard lesson. GEORGE is troubled by his acne-scarred face. KAM believes that it is caused by hormone imbalance. When CHRIS flashes a coupon for free tonic offered by a Shenzhen dispensary, GEORGE loses no time to snatch it.

FRANCIS and TODAY enjoy their rare private moment while the family is away. The couple discovers that GEORGE has purchased some potency drugs, but he defends by saying that the drugs are for his acne and are supplements to the treatment he receives from an herbal doctor across the border. GUCCI introduces GEORGE to a girl called JULIE, but he is apparently put off by her large breasts. On her way home, SARAH chances on a middle-aged woman called KO PING, who claims that she has not eaten for three days. SARAH pities her and takes her to Honey Cave for a meal. When HELENA’s hand gets burnt by boiling water, SARAH recommends PING to cover her.

PING is in fact FRANCIS’ birth mother AI NA, who seizes the chance to find out her son’s reaction of their union. FRANCIS gets very emotional and blames her for walking out on her husband and son. He refuses to recognize her. AI NA goes to FRANCIS’ office and especially invites him home for dinner. GEORGE follows FRANCIS to AI NA’s home and tactfully arranges for FRANCIS to leave. GEORGE refuses to let AI NA reunite with her son. The old couple gets into a fistfight. FRANCIS returns midway and is stunned by the scene.

GEORGE asks FRANCIS to get down on his kneels and announces the news of AI NA’s presumed death three years ago. On the other hand, GEORGE presses AI NA to leave, but she begs to see FRANCIS for three more days. FRANCIS takes one look of an old photo taken with his mother and recognizes AI NA in the picture. No sooner AI NA’s departure sets GEORGE at ease than her reappearance with FRANCIS. GEORGE chastises her for failing to keep her promise. FRANCIS jumps at her defense and is slapped across the face by GEORGE.

GUCCI agrees to take NA in. FRANCIS is provoked by two players into competing with them on the soccer field. GEORGE shows up and takes the challenge. The father and son receive some rough tackles. AI NA schemes to hoax FRANCIS by taking him to meet some relatives. An idea springs to her mind as she sees newlyweds unwrapping wedding gifts and money packets at a banquet. AI NA claims suffering from a terminal illness that leaves her with only a month. SARAH accompanies her to visit a qi gong master and is told to keep it from FRANCIS. SARAH even pledges to fulfill her last wish. She breaks the news to GEORGE and tells him AI NA’s last wish to become his lawful wife.

FRANCIS happily sends out the wedding invitations to everyone. An exhilarated SARAH feels no pain of her cut finger. A snapshot is taken for SARAH, dressed in a sexy wedding gown, and GEORGE, who happens to stand next to her. Inside the bridal room, AI NA cannot get her eyes off the wedding gifts and cash certificates. She urges GEORGE to take out all the money they have received. GUCCI shows up late. She has taken the time to interrogate the qi gong masters who turn out to be swindlers. Changed into a black costume, AI NA sneaks out the restaurant taking away with her all the money and jewelry. SARAH bumps into her while dumping a sack of GEORGE’s mementos….

Inside Honey Cave, GEORGE gives SARAH a hard time for inviting the stay of an ominous guest. SARAH feels wronged. Everyone sighs over CHRIS’ single status. YEE learns from FRANCIS that CHRIS has driven all the way to North Point to buy her favorite snacks and even travels to Shenzhen to get hold of concert tickets. SHEUNG invites her new girlfriend GO GO home for dinner. When Yee learns that GO GO will be her new mother, she storms out. SHEUNG goes after YEE to a park, where CHRIS happens to walk by. He mistakes their argument as lovers’ fight and invites her to stay over at the KIMs. Just as the KIMs wonder about the extra set of toothbrush and slippers, someone is pounding on the door.

YEE is touched by the KIMs’ hospitality. But SHEUNG stays up all night worrying sick about her. CHRIS asks her to leave SHEUNG, but YEE tells him that she doesn’t have the heart to. CHRIS is tormented by her devotion to SHEUNG. GUCCI decides to play the matchmaker for CHRIS and YEE. A cleaner’s lucky charm for romance lands in YEE’s bag by accident. CHRIS sees it as a sign.

Getting wind that YEE is staying at the KIMs, SHEUNG goes to Honey Cave to find her. CHRIS and YEE are meeting a client on Lamma Island. By sheer luck, they have found a familiar big tree and realize they had already met when small. Both see their encounter as a work of fate. SHEUNG presses the KIMs to expel YEE by implying the big trouble they will meet for taking her in. As CHRIS and YEE miss the last ferry, they have to stay the night on the island. CHRIS wakes up in the middle of the night and sees YEE sleeping beside him and treating him like a puppy. He at once realizes that YEE is sleepwalking.

SHEUNG brings with him lavish gifts to the KIMs. Mistaking GUCCI’s room for YEE’s, he sends over home furnishing gifts. SARAH believes it to be SHEUNG’s gesture to woo GUCCI. YEE’s background intrigues the KIMs, as they only know that she has yet to finish her degree. CHRIS fears that her identity as a mistress will be exposed. SHEUNG has torn YEE’s bracelet by accident. SHEUNG sends GUCCI peach-blossom flowers to ask for her favour to act as their mediator. But it gives GUCCI a fright as she misconceives it as a marriage proposal….

CHRIS beats up SHEUNG in rescuing YEE and finally learns about their relationship as father and daughter. While all fawn upon YEE, CHRIS still keeps his distance. Having found out that CHRIS is “gay,” YEE resolves to return to her studies in England. She gives everyone a farewell present. FRANCIS and CHRIS receive a couplet of kissing man figures. Only then it strikes CHRIS that YEE has misunderstood his sexual orientation. CHRIS dashes to the airport but arrives minutes too late. Dejected, he sees a person…

As CHRIS and YEE embrace each other in a taxi, the vehicle hits on a lamppost. YEE wakes up and can no longer remember CHRIS. CHRIS is undaunted by the numerous failed attempts and tries every means to bring her memory back. SAM has been hailed a crocodile hero. He seeks to collaborate with CHRIS in the fashion business, and takes him and YEE to a chili hotpot dinner. The spicy food gives CHRIS a stomach upset. When he asks to leave early, SAM vows to find out everything about YEE over the meal….

CHRIS’ dire attempts only serve to incur her displeasure. CHRIS confides in SAM. KAM falls under the suspicion of seizing a winning lottery ticket from the KIMs. As two men sharing the same plight, KAM is grateful for CHRIS’ understanding. SAM sends YEE an email to ensnare her to the airport. He even deceives her into believing that he is her lover. SAM deals CHRIS a preemptive strike by accusing CHRIS for disguising as him in order to beguile YEE. It strikes CHRIS that SAM has betrayed him.

As no one bears witness to the love between CHRIS and YEE, SAM goes as far to smear CHRIS’ reputation to prove himself as YEE’s lover. YEE is thrown into disarray. CHRIS seeks to take YEE to Lamma Island, but she takes his act as bribery of the witness. CHRIS can offer no explanation in defense. KAM instructs CHRIS to find the taxi-driver AH SHUI to give his testimony. Withstanding the chilling wind, CHRIS waits outside the refreshment kiosk for his key witness to show up after work at midnight. The KIMs appear to cheer him on….

KAM brings forth a fake witness, not knowing that CHRIS and the taxi-driver are on the way. YEE slaps CHRIS on his cheek as she finds out that she has been fooled. CHRIS loiters about dejectedly. He seems to have been enlightened by BOON YAT SIN’s words and the phrase “give way”. Though YEE is evidently moved by his gestures, SAM is also jealous that CHRIS and YEE make a perfect couple both at work and in private. SAM twists his ankle while racing against CHRIS in chasing a thief. YEE carries SAM home, where he gets down on his kneels…

CHRIS hands in his resignation to pursue a career in Shanghai. GUCCI and others urge him not to give up on YEE or he will experience regret. SHEUNG is surprised by YEE’s indifference toward her own wedding. YEE doubts if SAM is her true love. When she meets CHRIS again, CRHIS reenacts events on Lamma. A deeply confused YEE asks someone to decline SAM while planning her return to England. CHRIS picks up the romance charm at the airport and calls YEE at once, yet….

KAM’s sister LAW BING was GUCCI’s best friend and classmate. From a photo GUCCI took with her boyfriend KAM WAH, KAM deduces that GUCCI was the mistress of his brother-in-law and the very murderer of her sister. When KAM finds out that GUCCI, a pro who rids of a person without a trace, hatches a murder plan that targets at him, he tells KITTY. A series of events seem to confirm his suspicion that GUCCI has killed BING: she enters his room stealthily, seeks advice from BOON YAT SIN, and makes a confession of guilt.

MARCO et al. refuse to believe that GUCCI is BING’s murderer. They are tied up by KAM, who tries to extort confession from GUCCI by forcing her to watch his own adaptation of the Japanese horror film The Ring. It scares the wits out of GUCCI and she passes out. SARAH angrily reveals that BING was the person who snatched WAH from GUCCI and that she died from a heart attack after losing her winning lottery ticket. As GUCCI was about to marry her childhood sweetheart KAM WAH, BING seduced WAH and drugged him. When he woke up, she lied about being raped by him, thus forcing GUCCI to withdraw from the relationship.

Having proven her innocence, GUCCI also reconciles with KAM. GUCCI speeds to redeem an old cash register kept as a memento of WAH, which SARAH has dumped by mistake. GUCCI thereby meets a dead ringer for WAH called SHUM HO who comes to her aid. SHUM HO works at Honey Cave to cover AH WONG during his leave. He is asked by the family to pose as WAH to test GUCCI, but to no avail. SHUM HO excels in both literary and martial arts and he gets along well with the family. KAM urges GUCCI to consider getting married, but she is not thrilled by the idea. Yet when she sees the way SHUM HO carries his slippers…

GUCCI stalks SHUM HO and rather shyly asks him to pose for an old damaged wedding picture of WAH and herself. GUCCI notices his bizarre behavior of stealing the garbage of Honey Cave. The family takes her questioning as affection shown for SHUM HO and arranges a date for them. It turns out that SHUM HO was trying to steal the secret formula for making Honey Cave’s famous tea. SHUM HO’s craftsmanship of making cane baskets reminds GUCCI of prison inmates. An anxious GUCCI tries to find out more from Sergeant HO….

SHUM HO is a man of brutal and revengeful nature. Apparently, he also wields the “Invincible Wind and Fire White Slippers” technique made famous by the notorious convict MAD KWAN who was arrested by GUCCI twenty years ago. GUCCI suspects that he is really KWAN, who is recently released from jail and now seeks revenge after having a plastic surgery to transform his face. When GUCCI learns that SHUM HO has taken MARCO and others to Dark Wind Range for a holiday, she and KAM give chase but the duo loses chase of MARCO because of the poor cell phone signal. GUCCI and KAM continue the search on separate paths. She sees to her horror SHUM HO standing in front of a stone house with a blood-stained knife in his hand…

GUCCI fails to reach KAM as he has left his cell phone inside the stone house. Fearing that he has fallen victim to SHUM HO, she faints. At last, she wakes up to the pleadings of MARCO and others. Just as she launches an attack against SHUM HO, she is told that it has been a misunderstanding. SHUM HO in fact harbors a different intent. Though KAM is spoilt by KITTY, he is discriminated against by a gorgeous woman, chased by a ferocious dog, and body-searched by the police who take him as a thief. A Taoist says that there is a jinx on his life.

When KAM learns that the object of his constant bullying MAI KWAI has the same jinxed destiny, he swears brotherhood with him and promises to stand up for him when KELLY and others try to fool him. KAM kills the fish in ATHENA’s fung shui water tank by accident, but ATHENA blames it on KWAI and threatens to fire him and file a lawsuit against him. KAM suffers a guilty conscience. In his nightmare, KITTY becomes a prostitute and gives birth to a deformed child. Waking up in a cold sweat, he hurries to the office and turns himself in, but…

KAM wants to completely transform KWAI, but KWAI rationalizes his ways and points out KAM’s mistakes instead. SHEUNG has given his staff a bottle of cologne each as a gift. Opinions are divided as to whether they should give the cologne to FRANCIS or KWAI. But they end up being tricked by both men. FRANCIS gives TODAY a large teddy bear. TODAY finds out that FRANCIS has given the same gift to every woman in the office and treats KWAI affectionately so as to infuriate FRANCIS. Indeed, KWAI is instigated by KAM to woo TODAY.

In order to decline KWAI’s courtship, TODAY claims that she indulges herself in delights of leisure. But KAM presses FRANCIS and MARCO to lend KWAI money in order to please TODAY. TODAY is stunned. Yet when KWAI learns that TODAY loves to have a big family of her own, he backs off instantly. FRANCIS misconceives his eagerness to end the courtship as a marriage proposal and declares to everyone that he has been dating TODAY for a long time. KWAI regards MAY as his ideal partner upon learning that she loves pets rather than kids.

MAY promises to take care of the lizard “DICE” for KWAI who has been evicted by his landlord. But MAY’s three suitors who send her lavish gifts come to him as a setback. In fact, the three men only use MAY to please their respective girlfriend and their gossips behind her back sadden her. Fearing that she will grow old alone and lonely, MAY plans to buy a flat. Short of money, she takes KELLY’s advice to enter a lucky draw that offers a flat as the grand prize. She asks KWAI to send out the ticket but KWAI has another idea….

With DICE gone missing and the lucky draw fantasy shattered, MAY is later inspired to study Chinese medicine. KELLY and others find the idea hilarious. In aiding MAY through the examination, KWAI hurts his angle but doesn’t voice any complaints. MAY suspects that ATHENA has killed DICE and prepared a soup of the creature. Not wanting to hurt her feelings, KWAI confesses that he has set the creature free to nature. When KAM tells MAY that KWAI has a crush on her, she is determined to reject his love…

Rumor has it that a mistress has come to Honey Cave from the mainland to look for her husband in Hong Kong. HELENA chances on TAI CHUEN together with a mainland woman and a child and suspects that he has a second wife across the border. She seizes TAI CHUEN’s savings and interrogates him. GUCCI offers to find the woman for HELENA. Yet the woman has qualities that outshine HELENA in every way. In her desperate moment, HELENA snatches $50,000 from GUCCI to send the woman away. HELENA returns to Honey Cave and realizes her grave mistake….

TODAY is found out to be the person to blame for the SEKs’ skyrocketing expenditures. HELENA seeks compensation from GEORGE. Someone has offered three million to buy HELENA’s flat, but the property is jointly owned by TAI CHUEN and GEORGE. Much to her disappointment, GEORGE refuses to sell the flat because of fung shui. Though according to fung shui, it is also HELENA’s auspicious year: she gets robbed and beaten by a robber. As she investigates into the matter, she finds out that TODAY is her unlucky star. GEORGE suspects that the flat is haunted. The idea of selling the place again comes to HELENA’s mind. However…

No one in the KIMs believes that the SHEKs’ house is haunted. In the middle of the night there comes a crying which sounds like a ghost’s. Everybody is scared to death and uses all kinds of holy items to exorcize the ghost. HELENA uses an old trick to scare GEORGE and it works like it did last time. GEORGE blacks out. Meanwhile, TAI TSUN returns home. Seeing what is happening, TAI TSUN follows the instructions in the “Exorcist Handbook” to exorcise the ghost. HELENA’s mask comes off. She has no choice but to claim that she is possessed. TAI TSUN does what the book teaches and forces HELENA to drink some “Holy water” – burnt paper water. As a result, HELENA suffers from an attack of diarrhoea.

TODAY brings a frog to the SHEK’s and asks FRANCIS to take care of it. HELENA is in a state of undresses when she sees the frog hopping around the bathroom. Scared, she runs out of the house naked, and accidentally locks herself out. FRANCIS and the KIMs come home to see a naked HELENA. She is completely humiliated and swears to break up FRANCIS and TODAY.

BOON YAT SIN has helped HELENA lie to FRANCIS. He asks HELENA to pay him, but she refuses. Furious, SIN curses that she will have to pay for what she has done. CHOI TING TING points out that people who are born in the Yang month of the Yang year will bring luck to people who are over 40 and born in the Yin month of the Yin year. And that whoever forces them away will have bad things happen to him. HELENA is shocked to hear this.

LAU KAM drops his Mark Six ticket into a gutter. KITTY goes into the gutter to pick it up for him. Everyone praises her for her bravery. KITTY is elected to be the “Best Girlfriend”. She shows off in front of SARAH and grabs the chance to humiliate her. Both KITTY and LAU KAM have heard staff from another company gossiping in the toilet, saying that KITTY is an old maid. On the other hand, SARAH is also looked down upon in the wet market and is given the name “ill-fated woman”. When KITTY and SARAH meet each other in the Honey Cave, a battle begins.

Anything related to the word “bitter” has been wiped out from the menus and newspapers at the Honey Cave. When SARAH appears at the Honey Cave with a big smile, everyone knows at once that SARAH wiped out every word that implies the meaning of bitterness in order to get rid of her ill-fated life. GEORGE is outraged when his scenes are cut from the show. GUCCI laughs at him and tells him to find a girlfriend. SARAH is upset by what GUCCI said. She decides to express her love for GEORGE by writing him a note. Poor her, it does not turn out as she has expected.

To help KAU KAM pay off his debt, KITTY takes a part-time job as a wine promoter. Ashamed, LAU KAM decides to turn a new leaf. KAM learns that a dirty-minded director is looking for some extras. SARAH makes an excuse to deliver some soup to TODAY at the TV station so that she can see GEORGE. In her haste to sneak out, she puts on a Mushroom Monster costume by accident and is dragged to play in a show. In the show, GEORGE will fall down a cliff and be poisoned. The Mushroom Monster is supposed to suck out the poison. GEORGE is shocked to see that SARAH is the Monster.

At the Honey Cave, everyone laughs hilariously at the scene of SARAH dressed up as a Mushroom Monster and sucking out GEORGE’s poison. When she shops in the market, all the hawkers scream. She is embarrassed and leaves, but a group of children and their mothers ask for her autograph and to take pictures with her. She is flattered. LAU KAM fawns upon her because he wants to be her manager. She is willing to sign the contract only if KITTY will be at her service. KITTY agrees to work for her which delights her. She calls her CHUN MUI. At the studio, she shouts at KITTY a lot.

GEORGE is depressed about SARAH being popular. He wants to retire from the entertainment business and open a restaurant. LO MONG feels it is a shame for him to give up and tries to convince him not to. He regains confidence after talking to MONG. He makes an enthusiastic appearance at the studio, which comforts SARAH. Unfortunately, the producer informs her that the senior staff’s wife has complained about her show and they have decided to drop it completely. SARAH goes to the market and finds herself no longer popular. GEORGE takes the chance to humiliate her. She does not mind his attitude and looks at his back with love.

SARAH’s entertainment life ends. LAU KAM is back to normal. SARAH passes a tennis court and sees two girls playing tennis, reminding her of her relationship with KITTY twenty years ago. She weeps at the thought. She learns that KITTY has given all her savings to LAU KAM to dabble in the stock market.

SARAH scolds LAU KAM for being secretive. GUCCI intercedes to point out that she should be celebrating that she is close to KITTY again rather than scolding LAU KAM. KITTY drops hints to let LAU KAM know that it is her birthday. When she gets home and sees the table is full of dishes, she thinks that they are from him and waits for him. Midnight arrives and she is so hungry she has stomach ache. She slips when trying to get some medicine and loses consciousness. SARAH takes KITTY to the emergency room. KITTY finds out that the food was a birthday present from SARAH. Three days later, LAU KAM shouts at KITTY when he sees her. All the colleagues scold LAU KAM for his misbehaviour. He is shocked and stunned.

MARCO and KELLY return from a business trip, and cannot believe it when they see SARAH and KITTY are good friends again. When they see LAU KAM treating KITTY like a queen, they think that he must be possessed. GUCCI sighs that nothing is impossible. LAU KAM accompanies KITTY to buy some underwear, which embarrasses her girlfriends. HELENA and her husband are uncomfortable with LAU KAM changing from a pest to a good person, which worries the others.

MARCO and KELLY are interviewed on the street for a magazine. The conclusion is that they form a perfect couple with beauty and wisdom. When her female colleagues discover that KELLY wants to get pregnant, they don’t hesitate to provide her with opinions. MAY reminds her that educating a child is a difficult task, which shakes her confidence. She uses the excuse of further studying to postpone having a baby. The KIMs points out that they have already invested a huge fund for the baby and try to convince her to have one. They also order MARCO to drag KELLY into the bedroom.

MARCO wants KELLY to get pregnant, so he prepares a sexy bath for them, which shocks her. While they are fighting, the water tap breaks and sprays cold water over MARCO, as a result of which he falls sick. MAY tells KELLY she will have a big surprise if she takes care of LILY’s crying daughter OI for a day while they are on holiday.

KEI SUM tries to find out more about KELLY’s birth plan at the Honey Cave. MARCO dishes out a bowl of medicinal soup with a grin and says it will help her to get pregnant. He scares KELLY who swaps the soup with LAM SIN’s Chinese soup from SUM. SIN and SUM come for dinner at the KIMs. She announces that she won’t cook again and will join the KIMs for meals in future. KAM deliberately says how tiring it will be for them to come over all the time and forces KELLY to go home and take care of SUM. She is shocked to see how messy SUM’s home is. While she is busy tidying up the house, the KIMs are having a barbeque on the roof.

The KIMs are surprised to see SUM when they come home with lots of hotpot ingredients. KELLY announces that SUM has pre-natal depression and decides to move in. KELLY rushes to see KONG when he calls for help. All of KONG’s belongings have been thrown out to the sitting room. He complains that SIN has kicked him out in order to use his room for the new baby. KELLY is supposed to pay for all the renovation costs.

SUM moans suddenly in the middle of the night. Everyone is scared and they take her to the hospital. When they arrive, SUM complains about what everyone has done wrong. Apparently, she has faked the incident to rehearse for the actual labor. GUCCI takes SUM to buy some dried plums. Suddenly, all the illegal hawkers start running, and GUCCI throws herself on the floor to protect SUM from getting hurt. SUM feels stomach ache and GUCCI sends her to the hospital. The doctor explains that SUM has no more baby because she is not really pregnant. She only has gastroenteritis, and is already in her menopause, which shocks everyone.

GUCCI walks in with a friend CHAN. He is surprised that the power bill at the Honey Cave is over thirty thousand dollars a month. He suggests that she checks the meter. That night, SARAH drops her clothes at the back of the Honey Cave, so she goes to the restaurant with GUCCI and they find lots of electrical appliances at work. TAI TSUN and his wife are having a bath and washing a pig’s lung at the back. They are scared when they see GUCCI and SARAH.

AUNTIE LAU comes to the Honey Cave to thank GUCCI for telling her to give her staff shares in the company to keep them working hard. HELENA overhears GUCCI saying she is going to give her staff a pay rise and some shares. GUCCI has decided on the matter even though SARAH strongly opposes it. The staff is puzzled when GUCCI explains that the shares are in bags and have an expiry date. They end up disappointed when SARAH takes out bags of flour and explains those are their shares.

TAI TSUN and his wife pretend to be ill, and take sick leave. They like to imagine how chaotic the Honey Cave will become without them. They are ecstatic when they hear that the Honey Cave is closed for a day for the first time, and celebrate with a shark fin dish. They meet PING who has just retired and wants to open a restaurant. He invites them to work for him with 20% extra pay. They hand in their resignation letters and warn that if GUCCI wants to keep them, she has to give them 50% pay rise plus bonus. KAM scolds them for losing their minds. SARAH is delighted to eliminate these two pests.

The KIMs celebrate the fact that TAI TSUN and his wife will be leaving in 12 days. They ask PING how his restaurant is getting on. He points out that they have to bring AH WONG with them. When they all meet up, PING reveals that he only plans to pay AH WONG $4000 monthly. Even with a pay rise, it will only be $6000. The whole transfer is called off. TAI TSUN has no option but to beg GUCCI to take them on again. However, she has already hired CHUEN, and makes them feel completely hopeless.

TAI TSUN and HELENA try to make money from cheating after they leave the Honey Cave. AH WONG witnesses their behavior and they try to shut him up by bribery. MAY comes home and reminds herself that she is not suitable to be a boss. TAI TSUN and HELENA try to read MAY’s future and learn that they cannot rely on her for retirement. Luckily SIN applies some tricks to save them from disaster.

KELLY’s friend invites her to a business meeting and proposes bringing their partners to join an archery competition. KELLY wants MARCO to do well in the competition and forces him to practise day and night. MAY cannot tolerate it and helps MARCO secretly. KELLY tells MARCO to bark like a dog in front of everyone, which upsets him. MAY argues with KELLY because of it.

MAY wants to make up with KELLY, but she refuses. Then KELLY overhears LILY and some other female colleagues gossiping about her in the toilet, with only MAY speaking up for her. KELLY then forgives MAY. KELLY has a business trip, and asks MAY to keep an eye on MARCO. MAY takes good care of him. He praises her as a very fine woman, which delights her.

MARCO tries to find MAY a boyfriend, but she turns him down saying she only likes pilots. Suddenly, MAI KWAI appears in a pilot’s suit. Apparently, he is trying to get a pilot license in order to win her. She then tells him that she is in love with someone. KWAI is furious and rips off his pilot suit in a rage, which scares MAY.

KWAI and LAU KAM stalk after MAY to find out who her lover is. ROGER appears holding MAY’s hand, so they think that he is her lover. MARCO is surprised to learn that ROGER is MAY’s boyfriend. KWAI uses tricks to torture MAY. When MARCO is sick, MAY takes good care of him and KWAI realises who she really loves.

KWAI disappears. MAY and MARCO look everywhere for him. MARCO finds him sitting on the stairs and reprimands him for making everyone worried. KWAI tells him that MAY is in love with him and blames him for ruining MAY’s life. MARCO tests MAY’s feeling and finds out that KWAI did not lie. He becomes irrational and says that he does not deserve her love, which hurts MAY’s feelings.

MAY avoids MARCO at work. He hides from her by leaving home early and coming back late. MAY takes her annual leave. MARCO senses that something is wrong from her expression and follows her to Lamma Island in case something bad happens. When he hears that someone is trying to commit suicide by burning charcoal, he rushes up to stop her, but passes out during the struggle. When he regains consciousness, MAY tells him that she does not love him anymore. She used the excuse of a boyfriend to stop KWAI from hassling her. They have a barbeque at a beach and are seen by ATHENA. KELLY cannot believe it when ATHENA tells her about MARCO and MAY.

KELLY monitors MARCO secretly and finds something suspicious about him. When she interrogates MAY about it, she firmly denies it. Meanwhile, MARCO pays more attention to KELLY, which eases her worries. ATHENA thinks that KELLY is having an affair with her boyfriend, which bothers KELLY. She is furious when she overhears MARCO’s conversation with MAY.

KELLY moves back to her family home and refuses to see MARCO. SIN and SUM see their chance to blackmail MARCO. MAY explains to KELLY that she has always had a crush on MARCO. KELLY slaps her face and scolds her for having ideas about her good friend’s husband. KELLY is heartbroken. She pays no attention to the traffic but luckily MAY pushes her over to the side of the road and saves her. KELLY then forgives her. MAY makes plans to study abroad.

KELLY books the President Suite for a client. However, the client cannot make it, so she brings MARCO and the KIMs to use the Suite. She is shocked when she finds she has to pay the extra $40,000, so she puts the bill in with other company expenditures. ATHENA finds out and exposes her abuse of company resources in front of all the staff. KELLY’s face turns grey immediately.

ATHENA covers for KELLY’s misdemeanour in front of ROGER. He asks her to sign more contracts to cover the loss. When she learns that he wants to lay off some staff, she tells him that she has a $20 million project in hand. However, she loses the contract afterwards, so she sends the staff out to look for a renowned designer SING SIR to join the company in the hope of keeping their jobs.

They lose SING SIR eventually. When ATHENA is worrying about her future, a man claiming to be SING SIR suddenly appears. She drags him to sign a contract immediately. He invites everyone for a meal. They worry that something might go wrong, so they do not dare to eat too much. ATHENA finds out later that the man is not SING SIR, and foresees big trouble ahead.

In order to get rid of the so-called SING SIR, ATHENA steals ROGER’s necklace and tries to put the blame on SING. However, the necklace appears on her desk again. When ROGER tries to find out who took his necklace, she says that he has a bad memory. He uses the excuse of having a bad memory to take away ATHENA’s new mobile phone. LAU KAM claims that he has a sure-win 3T combination. SING stakes $20 on it and wins $2000 back. LAU KAM becomes the idol in the office. Many people bet heavily on his tips, but they all lose.

They hate KAM after SING tells them the reason. KAM treats SING like his enemy after everyone turns their backs on him. He follows SING to a room called the “Luck Charm”, but regrets going in there.

LAU KAM’s friends realise that SING is not SING SIR. KAM wants to expose him, but ATHENA stops him for the sake of their jobs. She even asks someone to be his bodyguard. ROGER sends SING to meet a big client. He cannot avoid it and flees eventually. When the staff learns that SING is gone, they worry that they will be laid off and start looking for new jobs. ROGER tries to send ATHENA to meet the client, but she pretends to be ill.

Meanwhile, SING reappears, to everyone’s relief. TODAY loses her necklace in the TV studio. GUCCI promises to find it for her, but turns the whole thing into a joke. TODAY lies to GUCCI, saying that she has found her necklace back. But she cries after turning her back. The KIMs try to comfort her and GUCCI hears everything.

GUCCI tries to find TODAY’s necklace by using high technology. She makes up a picture of the necklace and asks everyone in the studio. She sees TODAY and a producer fooling around in a car. She is about to rush up to scold her when she hears “Cut”. Apparently, TODAY is just acting. On the way home, GUCCI meets SING sitting at the pier and thinks that he is about to commit suicide. She tries to persuade him not to end his life and leaves him with some money.

NG SAU comes for tea at the Honey Cave. GUCCI is convinced that he is a thief at first sight. Surprisingly, SAU comes up to greet her. The KIMs are curious and ask GUCCI who he is. She tells them the story from 32 years ago. Apparently, SAU was GUCCI’s lifesaver and colleague. Later when he went undercover for the police, GUCCI accidentally deleted his file and they had a misunderstanding afterward.

SING sees someone following GUCCI, so he follows behind. The man tries to mob GUCCI but luckily SING scares him off, although GUCCI is hurt. SING carries her to the hospital. He is stunned when she reports her name to the receptionist. Afterward, SING tries to find out more about GUCCI from KELLY. He thinks that he is GUCCI’s son.

SING hires SAU to carry out an investigation. They find out that GUCCI had a son who had three moles on the sole of his foot, which matches with SING’s appearance. In consideration of the KIMs’ feelings, SING decides not to reveal the truth. In the hospital, SING discovers that GUCCI has leukaemia. He announces that he will donate his bone marrow to her, which shocks everyone.

GUCCI tells SING how she got pregnant with him and how she decided to give birth to him secretly because she did not want to ruin his father’s family. SING often had high fever when he was a baby and he was taken after by GUCCI’s mother. Later, GUCCI’s mother lied to her that he had died. GUCCI was devastated. SING gives GUCCI a few words of comfort by saying that grandma decided to give up on him only because she did not want him to be GUCCI’s burden. GUCCI decides to become SING’s sworn mother. Suspecting that SING is coveting GUCCI’s money, LAU KAM plots to drive him away.

LAU KAM and KITTY spread rumors that GUCCI is heavily in debt from gambling and that the Honey Cave is going to close down in the restroom, lift lobby, and restaurants. However, much to their annoyance, SING does not hear any of their lies. GUCCI and SARAH are puzzled by the neighbors’ response on their way to the market. When they get back to the Honey Cave, TAI TSUN and his wife demand compensation for being lay off. To make things worse, some suppliers demand that GUCCI pays off all remaining bills. GUCCI and SARAH are shocked. Only until now do LAU KAM and KITTY know that they are in big trouble and they do not know what to do.

SING persuades the suppliers into leaving. He points out that it was LAU KAM and KITTY who spread the rumors, but LAU KAM accuses him of seducing GUCCI in return. The outraged GUCCI reveals that SING is KAM WAH’s and her illegitimate son, which shocks everyone. CHRIS comes back from Shanghai and offers his room to SING. SING turns him down nevertheless saying that he is used to living alone. GUCCI takes every care of SING and causes a lot of amusement.

CHRIS has installed a web-cam at home and one at SING’s place. GUCCI is thrilled and look at SING at the web-cam all the time. GUCCI sees NG SAU chatting to a young woman SHIM on the mini-bus and following her off the mini-bus. GUCCI thus suspects that he has bad intentions. News reports that a female body with missing limbs has been found. GUCCI suspects that SAU has something to do with the case. There are bloodstains outside SING’s apartment. GUCCI suspects that SAU has killed someone there. Meanwhile, SAU shows up out of the blue with blood all over his clothes.

Sensing that there is something wrong with SAU’s behavior, GUCCI runs out of Honey Cave under the pretext of going to the washroom. SING smells something strange when he gets home. It turns out that SAU is cooking cow’s penis soup in the kitchen. Quick as a flash, some SDU officers break into the apartment and subdue both SING and SAU. As a result, SING is kicked out by his landlord. GUCCI is very sorry about this; CHRIS suggests he should move into the KIMs’. At night, SING finds the noise that the KIMs make annoying. Yet he finds it not right either to complain. CHRIS tells him not to force himself to fit in.

SAU invites SING to the pub to watch a significant football match together. Thinking that pubs are not good places to hang around, GUCCI suggests SING bringing his friends home to watch the match instead. CHRIS finds that the photo that he took with YEE has gone missing. He vents his anger on SING, who is so upset that he has decided to move out. CHRIS finds the photo later. SING is crossing the road when CHRIS calls and apologizes. All of a sudden, SING is knocked down by a car head-on. Although he has regained his consciousness, he suffers from temporary blindness because some of a damage to his optic nerve. The KIMs take turns looking after SING, which moves him a lot.

LAU KAM suspects that SING is pretending to be blind when he sees him having no difficulties in picking up dim sum or pouring tea in a restaurant. He tries to trick SING to test him, but he suffers from his own tricks. A fire breaks out in the building. SING leads the crowd to flee by the stairs. GUCCI slips. When SING tries to pull her up, he hits the back of his head on the wall, which brings back his eyesight. The KIMs takes a family picture. GUCCI makes three copies of it. One is for CHRIS to bring to Shanghai and one is for SING. GUCCI feels lost when SING leaves with SAU. SING misses the KIMs when he looks at the family picture. The KIMs hold a farewell party for CHRIS. When the doorbell rings, GUCCI is most surprised to see SING.

KEI SUM sees a couple having an argument at Honey Cave. She tries to give them some advice but somehow exacerbates the argument. Everyone thinks that she has done this deliberately. She then complains to the restaurant manager for no reason and draws lots of attention, which humiliates the KIMs. KEI SUM and her good friend KUEN have a fight. GUCCI is hurt in the face by accident. KEI SUM thanks GUCCI for defending her and treats her like a good friend. KELLY tells GUCCI that what she has done is no different than asking for trouble. KEI SUM forces GUCCI to wear a jade bracelet and demands to be her sworn sister, which shocks her.

GUCCI meets SIN in the market. He points out that her bracelet is cursed, which will bring her bad luck. She is scared and tries to take it off, but fails. Suddenly a big group of customers arrive at Honey Cave. GUCCI worries that she can’t manage all of them, but KEI SUM appears to help. GUCCI is grateful for her help. However, she immediately says that GUCCI owes her a favor, which bothers her.

The kitchen cupboard and the cooker are broken at the KIMs’ home. Everyone is unwell. They think that something bad is going to happen. KEI SUM demands a favor from GUCCI. GUCCI is glad and promises to do whatever she wants. KEI SUM asks if she can borrow $200,000. She tries to pick up the checkbook, which is jammed under a chair, but her right hand is stuck. When she tries hard to pull it out, the bracelet comes off. She is ecstatic. SARAH finds that $200,000 is missing from GUCCI’s bank account. GUCCI has no choice but to tell her the truth. Meanwhile, two female customers are discussing the three characteristics of a fool, which fits GUCCI’s description. GUCCI cannot find KEI SUM anywhere. Hearing that someone has seen KEI SUM buying suitcases, booking air tickets, and closing bank accounts, GUCCI fears that KEI SUM has taken her money and run off.

The KIMs conclude that KEI SUM has run off with GUCCI’s money, but KELLY defends her. KELLY interrogates KEI SUM and she admits that she has invested the money in some stocks. However, the stock prices have dropped hugely that she can’t return the money to GUCCI yet. KELLY lies to the KIMs that KEI SUM has returned to her home village for three days, and insists that she stays home in case anyone sees her.

KELLY learns that GUCCI and SARAH have bought some sea produce to visit LAM SIN. She asks him to take KEI SUM out. Unfortunately, KEI SUM sleeps so deeply that she will not wake up. LAM SIN has to put her inside a big bag. He bumps into GUCCI and SARAH downstairs… KEI SUM proposes to pay GUCCI back with her losing stocks. GUCCI has no choice but to accept it. Meanwhile, the news is on. KEI SUM blacks out immediately upon hearing the news.

TODAY is filming at a hillside. She treads on a bone jar, which she thinks is a prop, by accident. GEORGE takes her back to the site to ask for the ghost’s forgiveness. While she is praying, he is desperate for the toilet, so he goes into the bushes. Suddenly, someone hits him on the head. When he regains consciousness, a mad woman demands that he marries her dead sister.

GEORGE thanks SAU for helping him out and agrees to be his matchmaker. He thinks that SARAH is in love with SAU, so he deliberately shows her how to perform a “Love Curse” to test if SAU is her target. When he checks out the “Love Tree”, he is shocked by what he sees.

GEORGE avoids SARAH and uses SAU as his shield. He arranges a romantic candle-lit dinner, but disappears as soon as SAU arrives. SARAH realizes then that GEORGE is pushing her to SAU, which hurts her feelings and angers her. She dashes to the “Love Tree” only to find that GEORGE’s clothes have been moved to the “Separation Tree”. She deduces from this that GEORGE has found out that she loves him.

When GEORGE shows up at Honey Cave with all fingers injured, she knows that the injury must be from digging up the clothes, which she had buried under the “Love Tree”. She is heartbroken thinking that he has rejected her. GUCCI objects to SAU going out with SARAH. Annoyed, he invites SARAH to a candle-lit dinner. She accepts his invitation when she sees GEORGE.

SAU and SARAH dress up for dinner in a high-class restaurant. He has not been well ever since he started dating her. He feels dizzy and nauseated whenever he talks about her. SING visits him and finds out that he doesn’t love SARAH. He is dating her as a joke. The KIMs try to stop SARAH from picking SAU up from the hospital. Lots of amusing misunderstandings are created. SARAH and SAU confess later that they don’t love each other; the KIMs feel relieved.

GUCCI queues up in a restaurant early in the morning to get a table. The KIMs arrive late and complain about the location of the table, which enrages GUCCI. She leaves her keys, bankbooks, and some other things behind. Everyone thinks that she is angry and has decided to go back to the home village for good. They rush to the outward-bound pier.

ATHENA is away on a business trip. LAU KAM and the other staff take the chance to be late for work. When they arrive at the office, they receive a warning letter, which puzzles them. While they are wondering whom the letter is from, ROGER introduces them to the new manager of the European production line HUNG PAK LAM. ROGER receives a very urgent order. He promises to give everyone a bonus if they can complete the order within seven days. LAM agrees to take the challenge.

LAM gives everyone a document which is full of mistakes. They then find out that the document was issued by them. She insists that everyone has to take a “Work Proficiency Test” in two weeks time, which worries them immensely. MARCO and the others are laughed at that their ability is below primary four, so they decide to study hard.

LAU KAM advises MARCO and the others to lie to GUCCI so that she can dress up as a beggar to beg LAM not to fire them. TAI TSUN and his wife show up unexpectedly and ruin the plan.

SING is surprised to see LAM become the new manager. ATHENA gains support from her subordinates, so she requests leave for them to avoid the test. She also wants ROGER to know how much the staff hates LAM. During grouping, SING wants to join ATHENA’s team, but LAM objects. ATHENA is warned by her horoscope to beware of tigers. When she learns that SING was born in the year of the Tiger, she pushes him to LAM, which hurts his feelings.

LAU KAM and the others worry about their test results. On the day of result announcement, LAM accuses ROGER of cheating for the staff. ROGER tries to explain to her, but she is enraged and decides to quit. ROGER agrees to give her a 30% pay rise. SING and LAM meet a client Mr. HUO in Shenzhen. SING is drunk. When he wakes up, he thinks that HUO has raped LAM, so he punches him in the face and accuses LAM of selling herself for business.

SING is prepared to quit when he gets back to the office. HUO comes up to interrogate him if he had punched him. He then suddenly smiles and thanks SING for saving his life because by hitting him SING had also prevented something bad from happening on him. LAM forces SAU to have a check up in the hospital. The nurse tells him that he is pregnant which shocks LAM. Apparently, SAU swapped his urine sample with a pregnant woman. WONG delivers an order to a park and meets LAM there. WONG’s three girlfriends look for him at Honey Cave, where he demands to break up with them. SAU arranges to meet LAM at Honey Cave. WONG’s hand and mouth start to shake when LAM arrives. SING realizes then that WONG is obsessed with LAM.

The KIMs are discussing WONG’s falling in love with LAM. WONG has an interview at the Ka Yan Company. SING advises him to quit pursuing LAM. LAU KAM receives a warning letter from LAM. When he leaves, he swears to take revenge. He tries to help WONG to pursue LAM and teaches him a plot – “Hero saves the Beauty”. SING warns LAM not to fool WONG.

LAU KAM regards himself as LAM’s matchmaker and tries to play tricks on her, only to suffer from his own tricks. He then finds out that WONG has failed in pursuing her. The boss of B & W, JOE, arrives at the Ka Yan Company. She is distracted when LAM appears. She invites SING for a meal in order to learn more about LAM. SING spills some wine. When he has a wash in the restroom, JOE comes in and starts touching him. SING yells at her and she leaves. LAM scolds SING for offending JOE, and goes up to JOE’s home with him to apologize. SING leaves immediately after apologizing and LAM stays behind. He meets JOE’s secretary and learns about her secret. He rushes back up to her flat.

Roger asks JOE why she does not want to sign the contract. SING takes all the blame. LAU KAM and the others want to visit Taiwan. Unfortunately, LAM asks them to hand in an urgent proposal when they are about to leave the office. KELLY and the others want to leave with an excuse. SING asks for sick leave. LAM thinks he is faking it and scolds him. LAU KAM and the others miss the plane and go home. LAM visits the KIMs and demands to work at their home. SING falls asleep on the sofa after taking some medicine. LAM realizes that he is really ill. LAU KAM reads about how to curse the boss from a magazine and wants to try it out on LAM. He is thrilled to see it works.

ATHENA knows that LAM has a rash and uses the excuse of fearing catching it to take some leave. SING finds out from SAU about the curse and feels very uncomfortable about it. LAM uses some tricks to punish the staff. LAU KAM is appointed to clean the toilet. The female staff fears that LAM will torture them in other ways. When LAM invites them to try out a free slimming programme, they worry that it is a trap.

LAU KAM and MARCO advise KELLY and KITTY to form a “Handbag Team” with LAM so as to get closer with LAM. When the four are late the next morning, they receive a warning letter from LAM threatening to punish them. ATHENA asks the staff to handle her personal business. LAM deliberately assigns them work to help them out. They are friends with her afterward. TODAY and FRANCIS go to shop for some cosmetic items and FRANCIS is mistaken for a woman. When they go to buy some clothes, he buys a woman’s outfit the same as TODAY’s and a paparazzo takes a photo of him. He takes some soup and an embroidery cardigan to the TV station for TODAY. MAY sees him and laughs at him being so feminine. He is pulled in to act as a woman extra at a scene. TODAY sees him dressed up in woman’s clothing and gets in a rage.

TODAY later finds out from GEORGE that FRANCIS was not like that when he was little. She goes to Sai Kung with GEORGE to simulate the scenes. Then they decide to hypnotize FRANCIS to ease his psychological fear. They take him to Sai Kung and repeat the scenes.

TODAY and GEORGE find out that FRANCIS was once bitten by a snake. Then he had a fever caused by GEORGE. FRANCIS finds out by chance that TODAY does not want him to be so feminine, so he goes to a fitness centre and sunbathes on a beach. However, things do not work out. TODAY suggests he should learn from another man. They find out that all the girls think that LAU KAM is the man of all men. FRANCIS decides to learn how to be a man from him.

FRANCIS buys movie tickets for LAU KAM and KITTY and follows them around. KITTY gets annoyed when he constantly leans against LAU KAM. LAU KAM thinks that FRANCIS fancies him, so he tries some tricks to put him off, but fails. KITTY suggests LAU KAM dress up like a gay man to date FRANCIS, which scares him off. They then find out that they have misunderstood FRANCIS. LAU KAM dresses up like a woman the next day. SING laughs at him saying that he has gone too far. LAU KAM ignores him.

LAU KAM cannot shed his feminine inclination. Everyone tries hard to help him, but in no avail. LAU KAM asks KITTY to marry him. She refuses at first but agrees eventually. When they go to a restaurant, he is harassed by a gay man in the toilet. He throws the man out of the toilet. Then he comes out with machismo which pleases KITTY.

LAU KAM and MARCO follow LAM SIN and find out that he was a dancing king. LIN wants him to enjoy dancing again, so she asks him to practice at her dancing school, but he refuses. When LIN’s daughter CINDY shows up, LAU KAM and MARCO are surprised by her beauty. They try to persuade LAM SIN to join the dancing class. They also pull in FRANCIS and SING to join the class. They all become very flexible and healthy looking which surprise everyone.

KELLY, KITTY, and TODAY suspect that MARCO, LAU KAM, and FRANCIS are having an affair. They follow them to a train station and are shocked to see LAM SIN is also involved. KITTY forgets to bring her home visit permit and they have to return home. LAU KAM and the others go up to Shenzhen to make some dancing outfits. They have a game meal in a restaurant. They then return to the KIMs’ home. Their partners are particularly sincere to them and prepare a hotpot dinner for them. They all have a nose bleed as soon as they see the hotpot. TODAY, KITTY, and KELLY have another action plan.

KEI SUM learns from TODAY, KITTY, and KELLY that LAM SIN is fooling around with the others, so she follows the girls to track down their men to the dancing school. LAM SIN asks the others to leave first and let him handle the women. When the women interrogate him, he does not say a word. KEI SUM humiliates him in front of the others. He picks up LIN’s hand and dances like a tiger, but blacks out from exhaustion afterward. MARCO and the others worry about what their partners are going to do to them. Fortunately, they are not angry but only ask them not to dance again.

KELLY, KITTY, and TODAY put down MARCO, LAU KAM, and FRANCIS’s names for a hiking competition. The next day, they receive a call from the hospital. Apparently, their partners ran out of water and food during the hike. They were also stung by bees and robbed by thieves. Finally, the women allow them to go dancing. They are glad to return to the dancing school hoping to see some new girls. However, the new classmates are KELLY, KITTY, TODAY, and GUCCI. ROGER and LAM have a meeting with Sir CHAN. They learn that his dancing partner has not shown up, so ROGER demands that LAM dance with Sir CHAN in order to close the deal.

ROGER orders all his staff to join Sir CHAN’s dancing competition. KELLY and KITTY are very skilled at dancing after GUCCI teaches them some tricks. MARCO and LAU KAM are jealous seeing them dancing intimately with ROGER. During the competition, MARCO and LAU KAM insist on dancing with KELLY and KITTY. MARCO and KELLY win “The Funniest Couple” award and LAU KAM and KITTY win the championship. ROGER completes his mission to have a big contract with Sir CHAN.

During a meeting, ROGER praises LAM and SING and wants to reward LAM with the “Best Staff” award. ATHENA objects to his proposal, but he turns around to scold her for not performing well lately. She swears that she will impress him within a month. MARCO and KELLY plan to have a holiday. Unfortunately, ATHENA orders everyone to work with her and will not allow anyone to take leave. LAU KAM decides to find her a boyfriend to give everyone a break. When he gets on a matchmaker website, he finds out that she has already been blacklisted. LAU KAM, MARCO, and FRANCIS ask SING to be the sacrifice, but he refuses. LAU KAM then thinks up a plot.

MARCO persuades ATHENA to do a prayer in a temple. Although SIN the fortuneteller is bribed by LAU KAM, he still manages to accidentally give SING’s birthday information to GUCCI, who is praying for health, and to give LAU KAM’s to ATHENA, who is praying for love, saying that he is a good match for her. GUCCI gives SING special treatment which puzzles LAU KAM. ATHENA uses an excuse to get close to SING. KELLY advises SING to accept ATHENA for her money and body. LAM is upset and objects to whatever SING does.

SING pretends to be ill to avoid ATHENA. However, she goes to visit him and turns the KIMs’ upside down, which bothers the KIMs. SING wants to make everything clear with ATHENA. He meets LAM who is meeting a client Mr. CHAN and gets jealous. He kisses ATHENA by mistake. ATHENA slaps him on the face and announces that LAU KAM is her target. LAU KAM, who is tailgating and photographing them, loses consciousness immediately after hearing that. LAU KAM has a taste of his own medicine. MARCO and the others persuade him to change his image and accept ATHENA.

ATHENA demands that LAU KAM marries her within three months and leaves KITTY in a week. When KITTY comes back after a business trip, everyone tries hard to hide the fact. LAU KAM and ATHENA have a dinner in a high-class restaurant. She is very picky. He ends up paying $8000 for the dinner. KITTY finds out that his credit card is overdrawn and asks him about it. He lies to her saying that the money was lent to his friend TAI HAU KEUNG, but she doubts him. Then, the restaurant manager delivers one of ATHENA’s earrings. KITTY stares at LAU KAM who knows he is in big trouble.

ATHENA tries every way to let KITTY know that she is dating LAU KAM, but she just cannot get it. SING deals with all ATHENA’s plots and saves LAU KAM. KITTY believes that love is selfish and swears to live and die with LAU KAM, which stops him from confessing to her and bothers him immensely. ATHENA uses more tricks to arouse KITTY’s suspicion. She orders LAU KAM to work overtime and arranges for KITTY to come back to the office to see him and her hugging together dressed untidily.

To ATHENA’s surprise, KITTY thinks that LAU KAM has been ordered by ROGER to please ATHENA. ATHENA is annoyed and uses LAU KAM as her punch bag. He is hurt. MARCO and the others pretend to be hawkers and plan to knock her down in order to let her know that LAU KAM is not her luck charm. However, things turn out opposite. LAU KAM saves her life. She decides she wants to marry him which terrifies him. GUCCI tries to help him out by telling ATHENA all his shortcomings. ATHENA is slightly worried.

ATHENA decides to help LAU KAM to quit all his bad habits. She delivers some engagement presents to the KIMs and discusses the wedding with them. KITTY loses consciousness and is rushed to the hospital. LAU KAM and ATHENA meet a thief. LAU KAM flees, leaving her helpless. He seeks out SIN for revenge. ATHENA learns about their deal and announces she is breaking up with LAU KAM, which pleases him. Apparently, KITTY had too much “Chinese cold food” and passed out. She did not hear ATHENA talking about the marriage. Everyone is relieved. When they go back to the office, ATHENA is waiting for them.

ROGER’s home is under renovation, so he has nowhere to put his luck charm. Everyone wants to be lucky and fights to take over the charm. The KIMs are selected at last. MARCO comes to welcome the charm and finds out that it is ROGER’s nephew CHIU CHOI. ROGER deliberately sends SING to Germany, so that CHOI can have his room. CHOI is hard to live with and annoys the KIMs.

CHOI grew up in the States, but he does not speak any English. His eating and living habits are not very westernized at all which surprises everyone. He does not like going out, but he chooses to visit Shaolin. When he sees GEORGE acting in a Martial Arts movie, his Kung Fu dream vanishes. LAU KAM thinks that CHOI has a suitcase full of US dollars, so he makes everyone leave and pretends to be a Shaolin monk and hopes that CHOI will beg him to be his mentor and give him all his money.

GUCCI and the others are shocked to see CHOI cutting LAU KAM’s toe nails when they come back home. LAU KAM wants to take advantage of CHOI but he ends up paying $4000 to buy him an abalone meal. He betrays also the fact that he does not know any Kung Fu when he is robbed. The KIMs order him to apologize to CHOI. CHOI eats too much festival food and takes some wrong medicine, so he passes out and is rushed to the hospital. MARCO and the others think they are taking care of CHOI, so they have an excuse to be late. However, they receive warning letters all the same. LAU KAM and the others find out that CHOI is not really ROGER’s nephew. Therefore, they try to kick him out.

CHOI stands up for a woman. LAU KAM and the others are beaten up as a consequence. CHOI is scared of ghosts. LAU KAM and the others dress up as ghosts to try to scare him. When they learn that CHOI plans to stay until the end of the year, they decide to escalate their action. They all dress up as the characters from a TV show. At first, CHOI thinks they are rehearsing. He is scared when he sees LAU KAM eating a joss stick.

CHOI is scared off by the KIMs and runs away. They find him unconscious in a rubbish bin later. GUCCI acts as CHOI’s tour guide, causing rumors of her having an affair with him. They wear matching watches and go traveling in Macau together. CHOI even calls her “Silly Piggy” which shocks the KIMs. SARAH tries to discover whether GUCCI wants to be re-married. GUCCI scolds her for being silly. When she learns that CHOI has prepared three things for a proposal to go to Macau with, she is scared.

GUCCI falls ill. CHOI takes even better care of her. When GUCCI goes to visit her dead husband’s grave, LAU KAM has an idea. He wants to take CHOI to a nightclub to find a replacement, but CHOI tells him that GUCCI, who is short and fat, is his ideal partner. The KIMs force GUCCI to shed some weight, but CHOI finds her attractive all the same. GUCCI prepares to tell CHOI that she does not love him. Meanwhile, there is news of a maniac in Texas who killed people with an electric saw, who fits the description of CHOI. When CHOI comes home with an electric saw, everyone is horrified.

GUCCI and the others do whatever CHOI says in fear of provoking him to kill. However, TAI TSUN calls him “Cockeyes” and makes him angry. The next day, CHOI shows up covered in blood with TAI TSUN’s new mobile phone. He tells everyone that TAI TSUN has gone back to Shun Tak to visit his dead mother’s grave. But HELENA knows that TAI TSUN is from Chiu Chow, not Shun Tak. They find a bloodstained electric saw in CHOI’s room and suspect that TAI TSUN has been murdered. They want to escape from the house. However, the number 8 typhoon signal has been hoisted and they are forced to stay home. CHOI demands to have a game of Mah-jong. They fear making him angry, so they try hard to let him win. But he finds out. He goes back into his room to get the electric saw and scares everyone.

LAM is beautiful and kind and is welcomed by everyone. When she is suspected of torturing SAU, GUCCI will not believe it. LAU KAM and the others gather some money to buy him a hotpot dinner. He suddenly passes out and is sent to the hospital. They then realize that he is diabetic and buying him a good meal is equivalent to murdering him. They take him home to apologize to LAM. However, she does not mind at all and buys him replacement sugar and an exercising machine, which moves him.

SAU wins the “Best staff” award. LAM is very excited about it. When she sees all his colleagues are rough people, she worries for his future. She thinks that he goes to Shenzhen with some bad friends to visit the prostitutes there. Luckily, SAU proves that he is innocent. He has made a dangerous prop – “Blood Dripper” – for a show. Coincidentally, GUCCI is on the same mini-bus. He is not happy about her watermelon being in his way, so he decides to test the sharpness of his prop with the melon and splashes red juice all over GUCCI’s face. The police point guns at him and order him to drop the weapon.

GUCCI is scared at seeing the “Blood Dripper” and becomes paranoid. When the director of the show decides to stop using the prop, SAU is mad and gets drunk. When GEORGE takes him home, LAM is sarcastic and annoys SAU. The executive producer thinks that TODAY is not very fit, so he bans her from filming at the Amazon. When SAU learns about it, he hides the fact that he is ill and ignores LAM’s objection to join the crew. On the departure day, he is expelled from the group for his medical history of contracting dengue fever. He knows that LAM has betrayed him and they hate each other after that.

SAU runs away from home. LAM regrets what she has done to him. GEORGE advises SAU to leave the street and move to a motel. However, the condition of the motel is so awful that he sneaks into HELENA’s flat. HELENA suddenly comes back home and nearly discovers SAU. GEORGE goes out to buy SAU some underwear and leaves him having a bath. HELENA comes back unexpectedly again. She thinks that it is TAI TSUN in the bath and suggests joining him. She undresses immediately and scares SAU.

HELENA orders SAU to pay her compensation for seeing her naked, but her demand is denied by GUCCI and the others. LAM visits SAU at where he stays, but he refuses to return home and insists on staying on the street. She gives MARCO money to buy SAU some daily necessities and food. When HELENA learns about it, she forces SAU to move into TAI TSUN’s home and then blackmails LAM with fake receipts. LAM pays her unquestioningly and asks her to buy expensive high calcium low fat milk powder for SAU.

MARCO and the others persuade SAU to go home so as not to be blackmailed again. He claims that he only agrees to do so in order to take care of LAM. LAM is delighted about his decision. KELLY is criticized about the fact that her figure is similar to a housewife who has given birth. She and MARCO are also invited to model for middle age clothing, which outrages them. She deliberately dresses up for work and proposes to meet MARCO’s client for him. She starts off the meeting really well. Yet when the client finds out that she is married, he loses interest in her in no time.

All the colleagues laugh at her saying that even though MARCO dresses up like an old man, she still cannot hide the fact that she is a housewife. TODAY goes to see a fortune-teller who foresees that big trouble will happen to MARCO. One big client captures KITTY and the others’ attention. KELLY finds out that he is her ex-boyfriend RICHARD. She has a game of golf with MARCO and RICHARD. During the game, she deliberately shows off how happily married she is. RICHARD gives some durian chocolate to KELLY. She mistakes it as a love proposal. KEI SUM tries to persuade KELLY to leave MARCO for RICHARD, not know that MARCO…

MARCO is very upset by the rumour that KELLY and RICHARD are having an affair. KAM claims that KELLY and RICHARD are together again, and urges MARCO to call KELLY on her mobile. MARCO’s face turns white when he hears KELLY panting on the phone. RICHARD is named as one of the most influential businessmen. GUCCI and the others praise his success. When he visits the Kims, everyone welcomes him. MARCO is ignored and feels bitter.

MARCO is deliberately attentive to KELLY in front of RICHARD. She is embarrassed by his unusual behaviour. RICHARD takes some tea to visit KA YAN. He accidentally breaks MARCO’s beloved robot. KELLY tries to find some replacement parts among a pile of broken robots, but fails. RICHARD presents MARCO with a brand new robot. MARCO loses his temper and tells RICHARD off.

KELLY is scheduled to meet RICHARD at a hotel to sign a contract. She is shocked when she overhears RICHARD telling a barman that he loves her and is determined to come between her and MARCO. She meets RICHARD, who appears exhausted, on the way home. MARCO knows that RICHARD is after KELLY, so he decides to talk to him at his hotel. KELLY waits for a long time, but MARCO does not show up, so she goes to the hotel to look for him. She is shocked to see MARCO and RICHARD fighting on the bed.

At a hand imprint ceremony, GEORGE finds out by chance that PIK TAI was selected as a Star because she is having an affair with her boss SZE. He hates her for it. SARAH feels it is unfair on GEORGE, so she tricks TAI and forces her to give up the seat for him. GEORGE is frightened by SARAH’s unexpected appearance when the press are taking photos of him, and falls on to the cement. Everyone’s attention is drawn to this funny scene.

GEORGE chokes on a fish ball. SARAH sucks it out for him. In order to thank her, he decides to do something for her. The Kims and the Sheks are meeting in a restaurant. SARAH is happily waiting for GEORGE to announce his marriage proposal to GUCCI. However, he pulls out a gold bowl and a pair of gold chopsticks and asks to be SARAH’s sworn brother. SARAH cries out loud in her heart.

A picture of GEORGE and KA YING meeting in a restaurant is printed in a newspaper. There is a rumour of them getting back together. SARAH thinks that GEORGE is KA YING’s kept man and is heartbroken. She goes up to KA YING’s hotel and begs her to let GEORGE go. KA YING is confused and cries for help. They fight, and SARAH pulls KA YING’s wig off when they are fighting. Meanwhile, a group of reporters arrive and take some pictures. GEORGE knows that the situation is tricky when he arrives.

Several newspapers publish photographs of KA YING’s eczema-ridden scalp. GEORGE blames SARAH for hurting KA YING’s feelings. He tells her he wants to cut off any relationship with her. She leaves sadly. KITTY and SARAH meet a man who they think is their old class master Mr. KAN, whom SARAH secretly loved before. The man denies that he is KAN. SARAH chases after him and suddenly blacks out.

The Kims visit SARAH in hospital and ask KITTY what happened. When GEORGE returns home, he is surprised to see SARAH waiting at his door. She appears to have something to tell him. In order to keep her calm, he takes her to the seaside and sings to her. He asks her what she wants to tell him the next morning. She says that she has to report herself to the police for her past sins. She asks two passing policemen to arrest her.

GUCCI and KEI SUM go shopping. KEI SUM scolds GUCCI for not being sensitive after a man molests her and she does not even realise it. When KEI SUM is wandering aimlessly on her own, she sees an old lady wearing a branded watch. A secret plan is formed in her head. KITTY tries on many pieces of new clothing. LAM KAM knows that KEI SUM has brought a fake watch for $30,000 for KITTY, but he does not say a word.

Six of the Kims have a pimple on a different part of their bodies. AH WONG says if they gather seven people with the same condition to bet on the Mark Six, they might have a chance to win. GUCCI and the others decide to apologise to KEI SUM on KAM’s behalf. Unfortunately, they swap the apology letter with the ferry tickets by accident. They fear that KEI SUM and KAM might end up fighting. However, they come back being nice to each other, which surprises everyone.

LAU KAM fills in the wrong combination on his lottery ticket, but unexpectedly he wins the Mark-Six first prize. KEI SUM suggests splitting the money with him. They check into a hotel room in order to keep the ticket safe. They also use ropes to tie all the furniture in the room to stop each other from running away with the ticket. MARCO and KELLY see them in the hotel lobby and suspect that they are having an affair.

KITTY and LAM SIN are looking for LAU KAM and KEI SUM at the Honey Cave. GUCCI tells them to stop being paranoid. She accidentally pours some sweet soup on LAU KAM. When she goes to the kitchen, LAU KAM takes the ticket out nervously and dries it with newspaper. Later he finds that the ticket has gone missing. He and KEI SUM suspect that GUCCI has stolen it.

LAU KAM and KEI SUM ask GUCCI for their lottery ticket. Meanwhile, the KIMs, LAM SIN and KITTY suddenly appear. They are relieved to find that LAU KAM and KEI SUM are not having an affair, but are together only because they won the lottery. They march to the lottery ticket office together to claim the money. However, they are shocked when they are told that the ticket is invalid.

NAM suggests becoming KELLY’s sworn sister, which surprises KELLY. MARCO reminds KELLY that NAM and her are very different in many ways, so she should avoid her. NAM buys KELLY some breakfast. KELLY rejects her kindness and spills some coffee on her shirt. KELLY accidentally drops her wedding ring into a ditch. While she is panicking, NAM shows up.

NAM is a workaholic. Everyone is scared that she might overwork them. LAU KAM swears that he can tackle her. He notices that the deliveryman is sneezing and coughing, so he approaches him deliberately to catch his germs and pass them onto NAM. GUCCI makes fun of NG SAU’s bad health. He is annoyed and challenges her to play a basketball game. They compete fiercely in the game. The doctor is surprised that NG SAU’s blood sugar level, blood pressure and cholesterol level are normal. When NAM hears him shouting at GUCCI, she understands the reason and devises a plan.

The KIMs learn that NAM is planning to move into their building and worry that she will be watching them constantly. The KIMs and the SHEKs are shocked to see NAM and NG SAU moving in.

LAU KAM sighs that he has no excuse to be late for work and leave work early anymore after NAM moves into the same building. GUCCI bumps into NG SAU on the back stairs. Neither will give way, so they slip and fall down the stairs together. Someone plays a practical joke on NG SAU and NAM by ringing their bell. They are very annoyed. NG SAU comes to the Honey Cave to try to find out who did it. Someone suggests that he might have offended someone. He suspects that GUCCI is the one.

ATHENA is going on holiday. Everyone fights to take care of her dog, Cheque. KELLY uses some tricks to become Cheque’s caretaker after seeing the amount of swift nests and abalones that ATHENA has prepared for Cheque. Cheque runs away. MARCO, KELLY and LAU KAM are responsible, but KELLY thinks that anyone who has eaten some swift nests and abalones should also be responsible. However, GUCCI, SARAH and TODAY ignore her.

MARCO and KELLY take a bath with some pomelo leaves in order to get rid of their bad luck. SARAH asks everyone to give her household money. KELLY wonders why LAU KAM takes no action. She then finds out that he has not been paying household money for a year. She blames GUCCI for keeping him in the flat for nothing.

KELLY is enraged and refuses to give GUCCI any more spending money. GUCCI swears that she will do no more cooking. When LAU KAM comes home and finds everyone having a cup noodle for dinner, he has no choice but to eat some mouldy dry beef. It is boiling hot in the flat. GUCCI has banned anyone from turning on the air-conditioners, fans or TV. LAU KAM stills refuses to pay her any money. She looks everywhere to check if he has some hidden money, but fails. She pretends that there is a fire in the building and tells him to run with all his important belongings. He takes a wooden box with him up to the roof. The KIMs get hold of his box and are shocked by the contents.

TAI TSUN feels that his lucky drawn ticket number is not lucky, so he secretly swaps it with SARAH’s. SARAH wins the first prize. He asks BOON YAT SIN for help. SIN advises him that he will only be rich if he gets away from a mountain. TAI TSUN thinks that SIN is telling him to find a partner, so he tries to approach HELENA. He notices that she has a patch of leg hair shaped like a mountain. He secretly burns off her leg hair and wins some money the next day. HELENA finds that her leg hair has been burnt off and asks BOON YAT SIN for help. He tells her the same thing. The next night, TAI TSUN wants to burn her leg hair again.

HELENA breaks TAI TSUN’s head. They end up in a police station. The KIMs settle the argument. HELENA hears TAI TSUN cursing her out loud while he is dreaming, so she draws some magical words on his face. The next day, he gets beaten up in a betting branch. He then gets drunk and asks GEORGE to find him a hitman to kill HELENA. When he wakes up and remembers his drunken talk, he races home with GEORGE and finds a man holding a bloodstained knife standing in the flat.

HELENA stays at the KIMs’ flat to hide from the hitman, much to their annoyance. GUCCI asks TAI TSUN to beg for HELENA’s forgiveness. He serenades her with a love song outside the flat. She demands that he quit gambling, which he feels is quite harsh. GUCCI asks all the KIMs to help him. KELLY and the others pass TAI TSUN’s bankbook to HELENA and promise her that TAI TSUN has successfully given up gambling. They tell her that he is waiting for her in a restaurant for dinner, which delights her. However, when she gets to the restaurant, she sees a man who shocks her.

HELENA meets her father Sir Chan outside the restaurant. She begs GUCCI to lie to her father that HELENA is the owner of the Honey Cave. Unfortunately, LAM SIN and KEI SUM ruin her plan. Sir Chan leaves angrily. He asks MARCO and KELLY to break up HELENA and TAI TSUN, but TAI TSUN has lost interest in gambling, leaving no weakness for MARCO and KELLY to exploit. TAI TSUN falls into a trap when he returns to the hotel. Some loan sharks look for him at the Honey Cave. HELENA is heartbroken and demands a divorce.

TAI TSUN falls ill after HELENA decides to divorce him. GUCCI interrogates MARCO and KELLY. HELENA returns to the Chans’ mansion and feels more comfortable with servants around her. Sir Chan sends TAI TSUN a cheque to buy him out of the marriage. TAI TSUN swallows the cheque and refuses to consent to a divorce. He keeps having nightmares, from which GEORGE and FRANCIS suffer. Sir Chan invites TAI TSUN to his mansion to gamble on his marriage. TAI TSUN loses at last and leaves sadly. Sir Chan laughs hysterically after winning the bet and tells HELENA the truth that he wants her to sacrifice her marriage for his face.

MARCO, KELLY and LAU KAM feel exhausted after having a night out, but a Black Storm Warning is hoisted, which cheers them up. Unfortunately, NAM demands that they have a meeting in the office. LAU KAM deliberately gives himself food poisoning and requests sick leave. He irritates NAM with his loud noise. The KIMs find a wooden box at their front door. They think it is SARAH’s and carry it in. SARAH calls up to say that she will be back in Hong Kong later and tells them that the wooden box is not hers. When they open the box, they find lots of burial tablets. They are scared and move the box outside. They find the tablets lined up on the dinner table the next day.

The KIMs think that they might have offended the dead, so they clean up all the tablets. Meanwhile, NAM and NG SAU arrive and annoy everyone when they explain that the tablets are NG SAU’s props. TODAY gets a worrying chest pain while she is shooting a public awareness film about breast cancer. She goes to see a doctor in Yuen Long. NAM gives her a lift. The two are robbed on the way. They fight the robber off together and become sworn sisters afterward. LAU KAM takes away a notice about a traffic diversion from the management office and NAM’s mailbox. All the staff wait for NAM the next day, believing that she will be late.

The KIMs all fall ill. LAU KAM thinks they are cursed. NAM gives the KIMs a homemade cake, but it is so hard that GUCCI’s false tooth is knocked out when she tries to eat it. TODAY is invited to join a beauty pageant. NAM encourages her and they join together. They reach the semi-final together. They both pick the same costume, but NAM lets TODAY take it. At the press conference, NAM gets all the attention and her picture is put on the newspaper front page. LAU KAM tries to cause discord between NAM and TODAY.

Everyone guesses that ROGER might find a replacement for NAM, so they pretend to work hard in front of him. They even set up eight-trigram battle arrays to defend against each other. NAM and TODAY have an interview in the TV station. Many reporters surround NAM to ask her questions, which upsets TODAY. NG SAU reminds NAM to be careful of TODAY. GUCCI learns that TODAY is upset, so she and NAM secretly help publicising TODAY. TODAY is surprised. When she finds out that NAM and GUCCI have helped her, she decides to compete fairly with NAM.

LAU KAM, KELLY and MARCO want to avoid NAM and TODAY meeting each other at the Honey Cave, so they get NAM to leave the restaurant. TODAY scolds them for being mean. MARCO appears looking like an executive after KELLY has transformed him. KITTY shows up looking like a first lady. ROGER is forced to reveal what it means by “Internal promotion”. On the first audition, TODAY sees a real competitor, so she plays a trick, which unfortunately backfires on NAM. They are both disqualified. GUCCI wants them to get on again, but everyone else has doubts.

TAI TSUN takes the largest present from SARAH’s trip, but is disappointed to find that it is a toy dinosaur egg. He and HELENA are annoyed, so they pretend to be sick. When they are out, WONG sees them. TAI TSUN buys a big bag of lychees and decides to make himself sick by eating them all. GUCCI and SARAH are furious. ROGER is bothered by his ex-girlfriend in a park. WONG helps him out of kindness. He is late for work and everyone gives him a hard time. He resigns angrily. Meanwhile, ROGER arrives and wants to hire WONG.

WONG arrives at Ka Yan early. ROGER can find no suitable position for WONG and realizes that he should not have hired him, so he runs away from him and hurts himself. ROGER suddenly has the idea of appointing WONG to be the safety officer. Everyone tries to please WONG. GUCCI worries about WONG’s new job, and everyone thinks that WONG is her illegitimate son. Everyone lines up to have a medical check-up by WONG. WONG announces that only one person in the company has failed the medical requirement.

WONG points out problems in ROGER’s personal hygiene, which troubles him. ROGER takes ATHENA’s advice and tries to frame WONG for stealing his crystal ball. Unfortunately, he accidentally breaks the ball himself before he executes his plot. WONG is attracted to NAM. ROGER and ATHENA tell WONG how to pursue her. He shows up looking like a racing driver the next day and forces NAM to go out with him. While ROGER and ATHENA are imagining how it will look when WONG is arrested by the police, WONG faints on the street.

MARCO, KELLY, LAU KAM and FRANCIS receive ROGER’s instruction to stop WONG from delivering some goods, so that he can fire him. GUCCI learns about it and secretly tries to help WONG. The whole issue turns into a joke. ROGER thinks that WONG has not finished his task and is about to fire him. NAM speaks up for WONG, forcing ROGER to keep him. Unexpectedly, WONG hands in his notice. TAI TSUN and HELENA are overworked when WONG is not at the Honey Cave. When they see WONG wandering the street, they beg GUCCI to re-hire him.

GEORGE reveals LAU KAM’s waist size and WONG’s height. He also points out that MARCO is a penny-pincher. LAU KAM, WONG and MARCO are outraged and interrogate FRANCIS to find out GEORGE’s shortcomings. FRANCIS accidentally tells them GEORGE’s age. They ask GEORGE about some historical events to test him. GEORGE learns that a TV station is planning to produce a new version of ‘The Heaven Sword and the Dragon Sabre’, so he tries to slim down to get on the cast. TODAY tells him that he looks like a real martial arts hero. He goes confidently to the audition.

GEORGE quits filming for the TV series because he is unhappy with his character. He insists on changing his hair style to make him look younger, but with the opposite result. Meanwhile, TODAY passes by and helps him. They show up in water skiing outfits and change the producer’s impression about them. They are asked to join the cast of a soap about young people. TODAY cannot get hold of a script. She finds out that her lead actress position has been taken by a young new actress. The film crew plays tricks on her. She makes lots of mistakes and gets bruises all over. FRANCIS is heartbroken to see her get hurt, and proposes to her.

TODAY announces her wedding. All except SARAH and GEORGE aren happy for her. GEORGE tells NG SAU that if FRANCIS gets married, it will make him feel old. NG SAU laughs at his silliness. TODAY takes FRANCIS for crazy shopping, which costs him a lot. The KIMs and the SHEKs argue about where TODAY and FRANCIS should live after they get married. GEORGE learns that TODAY is horrified by the idea of having a baby, so he tells her that FRANCIS wants to have a baby as soon as they get married, which brings her nightmares every night.

TODAY is stressed by the wedding preparations and takes it out on FRANCIS. Some sponsors learn that TODAY is getting married and want to cancel her their contracts with her. FRANCIS tries to comfort her by saying that she can retire and have babies after getting married. However, she is scared by the thought of having babies and has an argument with him. GUCCI wants them to make up again, so she deliberately causes FRANCIS to have an accident. TODAY rushes to the hospital to see him, which delights GUCCI. Unexpectedly, TODAY and FRANCIS have to make a big announcement.

GUCCI feels very unsettled. She worries that something bad has happened to SING. He suddenly appears at the KIMs’ and criticizes GUCCI’s radish cake, which she worked overnight to make for him. SING tells ATHENA that MARCO and KELLY have photocopied some personal letters at the office, and LAU KAM sleeps during work hours. SING keeps behaving strangely and seems to be attracted by red objects. All his colleagues interrogate SING about the snitching. He admits that everything is a practical joke. SING tells NG SAU that he wants to cut off all links with GUCCI. SAU asks him why, but he finds it hard to explain.

NG SAU sees the KIMs turn their backs to each other through selfishness, so he supports SING for wanting to leave them. SING tells GUCCI that he wants to set up his own business and asks her to get a mortgage with the Honey Cave and her flat, which shocks everyone. GUCCI finds a note saying ‘I hate GUCCI’ in SING’s room. Everyone keeps their distance from SING. GUCCI feels sick and is hospitalized after drinking some soup that SING has prepared. SING tells everyone that he can only marry an island princess if he becomes an orphan. No one believes him, which annoys him.

TAI TSUN and HELENA show up at the Honey Cave wearing 1970s-style clothes and say that they have a cousin, WAH, nick-named ‘Tribal Chief’, coming to visit Hong Kong. They go to pick up WAH from the hotel. WAH is scared by their outfits and behaviour, so he hides and decides to return to Shanghai immediately. They think that a real tribal chief, who has come to visit with a tour group, is WAH, and bring him home. As soon as they arrive home, HELENA tries to sell him some jewelry. He claims that he has no money, but only ‘gold’. GUCCI and the others have dinner at the Seafood Boat. They pay for the meal when they see that the chief has no money. The chief is enraged to hear the KIMs criticizing his islands and punishes them secretly.

The chief swears to regain his dignity before midnight. SING points out that the chief’s bodyguards are very good at martial arts, and can kill a man in a flash. GUCCI suggests leaving the flat temporarily. Unfortunately, the front and back doors are guarded by the bodyguards. TAI TSUN and HELENA scream out loud when the clock strikes midnight. Apparently, the chief only wants to take revenge on them. The KIMs take the chief to a dim sum restaurant. He sees that the KIMs are hypocritical and unjust, so he decides to call off SING’s wedding. Everyone is shocked.

SING holds the volleyball, given by Princess Fiona, and sighs how unfair it is that he can’t marry her. GUCCI and the others go down on their knees to beg the chief to change his mind. He agrees to let SING marry FIONA if everyone can be honest, not wasteful, and just in 3 days. The KIMs find the chief watching them all the time. SING thanks everyone for helping him. LAM SIN shows up at the Honey Cave with scratch marks on his face and begs everyone to lie for him. SING is not scared of the chief and decides to tell a white lie for LAM SIN.

KEI SUM finds that LAM SIN has hidden an erhu and demands that he breaks it. She and HELENA look for a $500 receipt in a rubbish bin in a department store, so that they can take part in a lucky draw. Unfortunately, they can only find receipts of $250 each, so they have one draw together. They try to sell their holiday house coupon for cash. SARAH reveals their plot. TAI TSUN, LAM SIN, KEI SUM and HELENA go to the holiday house. HELENA and KEI SUM fight over the rooms and beds. When they receive a call from their mahjong friend, they rush back to Kowloon and order their men to stay in the house.

TAI TSUN tells LAM SIN that he will be delighted if HELENA will not talk for a day. LAM SIN instructs him to put a snake inside a rice cooker to scare HELENA, and make her scream so much that she loses her voice. He finds that his rice cooker has been borrowed from someone and has been returned when he gets home. His plot doesn’t work out. HELENA learns about his plan and twists his ear very hard. KEI SUM and HELENA run into bad luck. They overhear BOON YAT SIN saying that if they can find someone they really hate, they can transfer the bad luck to that person. They devise a plan accordingly.

HELENA tries to find someone she really hates. Meanwhile, KEI SUM shows up and tries to steal her chance to help WONG. They argue with each other. Suddenly, they become each other’s most hated person. They are troubled by how to become sworn sisters. KELLY suggests that they write apologetic letters to each other. When they accept the letters, they pretend to be good sisters. The KIMs know that they have secretly bought knives and scissors. Although they look like good sisters, they might try to kill each other.

TAI TSUN is sick. HELENA ignores him and plays mahjong. LAM SIN visits him at the SHEKs. He feeds TAI TSUN some medicine. When LAM SIN goes to the toilet, HELENA comes home and eats up all the seafood congee, which is on the table. KEI SUM sees two empty bowls on the table. Together with TAI TSUN’s unclear explanation, she swears that he is hiding something. He keeps talking on the phone and forgets to deliver some take-away food. The KIMs think that he is having an affair. HELENA seeks help from them, which they agree to give.

LAU KAM thinks that LAM SIN and TAI TSUN are having a relationship. HELENA and KEI SUM find this hard to believe. MARCO and the others drag LAM SIN to a beach. He shuts his eyes the whole time. HELENA puts on some sexy underwear to seduce TAI TSUN, but he would rather kill himself than get close to her. LAM SIN and TAI TSUN are signaling to each other, and everyone decides to find out if they are having an affair. HELENA and KEI SUM praise each other verbally, but curse each other in their hearts. After so much bad luck, they decide to talk to BOON YAT SIN. He explains how to transfer it to someone else. They realize that they have wasted all their efforts and turn their backs to each other again.

GEORGE sees SARAH searching through his VCDs and DVDs, and thinks that she still loves him. SARAH and KITTY receive a banquet invitation, which brings them mixed feelings, from their old school friend MAO, who is getting married for the third time. KITTY decides to copy MAO and tries to force her lover to marry her. She asks SARAH to get some ‘Fertility Tea’. TODAY and the others hold a birthday party for SARAH at the SHEKs’. They soon disappear with excuses. GEORGE feels something bad is going to happen. He thinks that SARAH is trying to force him to get her pregnant.

GEORGE finds out about SARAH getting the ‘Fertility Tea’ for KITTY and the reason for everyone leaving. He realizes that he misunderstood SARAH. He feels sorry when he sees her leaving sadly after throwing away his VCDs. LAU KAM and MARCO try to please TODAY. Apparently, a top model SUKI is appearing on a TV game show. They want TODAY to get them some tickets and some signed posters. When they arrive at the office, ROGER announces that SUKI is going to be their advertising model, which excites them.

MARCO, KELLY and LAU KAM are forced to help ROGER pursuing SUKI, which annoys them. SARAH knows that SUKI, BONNIE and CAROL are only trying to take advantage of ROGER, so she advises him not to be fooled, but he ignores her. Then he overhears the girls talking, which confirms that SARAH was telling him the truth. ATHENA dresses up sexily, but ROGER scolds. MARCO and the others are shocked to see ROGER helping an old lady to move stuff onto a truck.

MARCO and the others are shocked when ROGER suddenly shows up as they are having a hot pot in the office. LAU KAM points out that they need to help ROGER make up with SUKI, so that they can keep on skiving. LAU KAM tells ROGER that SUKI wants to make up with him, but SARAH learns that SUKI is going to blackmail ROGER. ROGER goes to the hotel to talk to SUKI. She drugs his wine. Luckily, SARAH arrives in time. She loses balance and falls on top of ROGER after punching SUKI. Someone takes some photos of them lying together in bed.

ROGER knows that SARAH is a good girl with not many friends, so he introduces a good bachelor SZETO KAM YUEN to her. YUEN turns to leave as soon as he sees her. ROGER arrives and drags him back to see her. YUEN ignores her after ROGER leaves. ROGER tries to let SARAH know that she needs to change her look by sending her some fashion, facial and hair salon coupons. He wants to see her in a new look, but only sees the KIMs buying some new clothes.

SARAH runs into a macho man and knocks over the bag that he is carrying. She is shocked to see lots of jewelry and a gun in it. A policeman comes and arrests the man. He shouts out that he will remember her. She worries that the man will take revenge, so she decides to change her look. SARAH bumps into YUEN, who is attracted to her. She feels great afterwards. She asks a fortune-teller to predict her love life. She pulls out a card of ‘The King Is Crowned’. The images in her head are of GEORGE acting as an emperor in a show and ROGER being urged by a stewardess, who is holding the same card, to get abroad the plane. Who is going to be SARAH’s true love?

KELLY and MARCO go for a dim sum meal with KEI SUM and the KIMs. KELLY yells at KEI SUM to stop her from eating a pig’s trotter. She tells the same thing to GUCCI, but in a softer tone, annoying KEI SUM. The neighbors praise GUCCI for having a good daughter-in-law, which pleases her, but makes KEI SUM even more jealous. KEI SUM reminds KELLY of how kind she was to her, but LAM SIN points out that she has only scolded and beat KELLY ever since she was little. She remembers that KELLY is terrified of black dogs, so she takes her to a back street, and waits for a black dog to attack her, and then tries to save her. Unfortunately, this backfires.

KELLY and GUCCI enter the “Hong Kong’s best mother and daughter-in-law” competition and win first prize. KELLY assumes that GUCCI will give her the prize (a diamond necklace), but she is wrong. The KIMs travel to Thailand. KELLY has to work and cannot join them. GUCCI forgets to bring her passport and has to go back home. She notices that her passport has been trodden on when she gets home. In order to preserve harmony, she gives KELLY the diamond necklace. The KIMs are trapped in a lift when they come home. KELLY claims to have a stomachache. When the firemen open the lift door, a noxious smell emanates from the lift, and all the KIMs are lying on the floor in a faint.

LAU KAM reveals KELLY’s story in the lift on a webpage. GUCCI accidentally sends it out by email, which annoys KELLY. KEI SUM promises KELLY to strike the KIMs back. The next morning, the KIMs find themselves suffering from hair loss, rashes, lip blisters and itching and aching on their calves. When they hear KEI SUM claiming to be the “Southeast Asian Number One Witch”, they beg KELLY for mercy and to reverse the curse. KELLY receives an urgent phone call from KEI SUM asking for her. When she rushes to meet her, she finds four housewives and KEI SUM all hurt. The housewives blame KEI SUM for bringing them disaster by claiming that she is the “Mahjong Queen”. GUCCI and the others then realize the cursing was just a misunderstanding.

GUCCI and MARCO envy SAM POR playing with her grandchild. KELLY declares immediately that she doesn’t want to have children. LAU KAM suggests MARCO should cause an “accident”, to which MARCO agrees. He swaps KELLY’s contraceptive pills with chocolate. She moves back to her parents’ home after finding out. MARCO begs her forgiveness outside the LAMs’ flat and promises he will never try to force her to have children again. However, he is gone when she opens the door. KEI SUM wants KELLY to go back to the KIMs as soon as possible, so she goes to see how badly the KIMs want KELLY to return. LAU KAM packs up all KELLY’s stuff for her to take away, which shocks her.

GUCCI demands that MARCO bring KELLY home, but LAU KAM tries to stop him. At the office, KELLY pretends she has a cough. MARCO pours her some hot water, but LAU KAM plays a trick on him again. KELLY sees GUCCI scolding MARCO, he admits that he did something wrong after drinking; KELLY hates him for having a mistress. She and KEI SUM follow the others. They see a pregnant woman MAY demanding that MARCO be responsible for her. KEI SUM pays MAY $100,000 thinking that will save KELLY’s marriage, which shocks the KIMs. In fact, MARCO lost $50,000 on gambling at a banquet. KEI SUM is devastated when she hears the news.

TODAY finds out that a restaurant is offering free buffet, on condition that customers do not put on more than 3 pounds after eating. Everyone tries hard to avoid paying, but only ATHENA succeeds. A model stands the shooting crew up. All the girls in the office try to put on the designated bathing suit to replace the model. However, KELLY is the only one it fits, much to ATHENA’s annoyance. ATHENA replaces all the snacks in the pantry with fattening food to make everyone put on weight. KELLY finds out that she has put on five pounds. She tries to lose weight by doing kickboxing, and faints. MARCO rushes to the hospital and finds that KELLY is pregnant.

KELLY interrogates MARCO over her pregnancy. She learns from the news that she had purchased fake contraceptive pills, and is very annoyed. ATHENA threatens to fire her. Only then she remembers that she did not go to see a client because she was hospitalized. She tries to explain, but ATHENA won’t believe that she is pregnant and demands that she show her the doctor’s certificate. While MARCO dashes to the hospital to get the doctor’s certificate, ATHENA hurries LILY to type up a dismissal letter. The girls try to help KELLY by planting viruses into the office computers. However, ATHENA takes her own laptop out and types the letter herself.

KELLY is too hungry to sleep. However, she vomits every thing up when she eats. She forces MARCO to find ways to help her eat and sleep. They decide to hire a domestic helper to help out with the new baby, but the KIMs and the LAMs forcibly object. GUCCI and KEI SUM both claim that they are experts in baby care. LAU KAM and the others decide to hold a competition for them. They ask them to carry a big winter melon and shop for eggs, bean curd and light bulbs in the market. They finish the task, but with great difficulties. Then, they are given an IQ test. While they are competing neck and neck, they both black out from exhaustion.

LAU KAM sets up a betting pool on whether KELLY will have a girl or a boy. The KIMs want her to have a girl, but the LAMs want the opposite. LILY tells KELLY that eating sweet food will bring her a girl, so she eats all kinds of sugary food. She is diagnosed with carrying twins, which delights MARCO. ATHENA and KELLY meet a client Mrs. CHAN. When she finds out that KELLY is pregnant, she asks ATHENA to offer her seat to KELLY. She also reminds KELLY of all the precautions during pregnancy, which annoys ATHENA. KELLY wants to quit her job in order to take care of the babies herself, but MARCO worries about their finances if she quits.

MARCO worries about not having enough income, so he works as a part-time coolie. He twists his wrist and loses more than he gains. He meets an old friend, who introduces him to working at a gigolo bar. KELLY notices that MARCO is spending a lot of money on the baby cots and becomes suspicious. She and LAU KAM follow MARCO to the bar and see him working there. Before he can explain, KELLY slaps him on the face. He explains to everyone the real situation, which brings the KIMs great relief.

KELLY goes for crazy shopping. She cannot manage the bags and boxes. Luckily SHAN passes by and helps her. He lectures her that she should not squat because of her pregnancy. Afterwards, he goes to the Honey Cave and annoys everyone with his arrogant tycoon attitude. NAM has a swim in the sea and finds that the female changing room is under maintenance when she wants to take a shower. She goes into the male one instead. SHAN rushes into the toilet and is utterly embarrassed to find NAM in it. A new cafe, La Gogo, opens near the Honey Cave. GUCCI goes to investigate and is worried by the competition it brings to the Honey Cave.

The KIMs find out that SHAN is the owner of La Gogo, and hate him. The Honey Cave business diminishes sharply because of La Gogo. GUCCI wants to close it down, but somehow, SHAN is tricked by his uncle, SZE MO, and loses all his money, so he has to close down La Gogo. The Honey Cave gets back to normal. While everyone is celebrating this development, SHAN suddenly appears at the Honey Cave. SHAN’s father’s helped GUCCI before, so she takes SHAN in and helps him to file a lawsuit. SHAN is broke. He is looked down on by everyone. TODAY pities him.

SHAN swears in front of his father’s grave that he is going to live a new life. Unfortunately, his bad spending habit worries the KIMs. MARCO and KELLY try hard to force ROGER to hire SHAN as the manager. NAM runs into SHAN on his first day at work. She feels very unlucky and even blacks out. After she regains consciousness, she thinks that SHAN has told everyone about her and the embarrassing changing room incident, so she looks for him to take revenge. She forces him to swear in the toilet that he will tell no one about the incident. He is very intimidated by her evil look when she breaks a metal ball pen.

In order to avoid being in the same vehicle as SHAN, NAM rents a whole mini-bus. She bumps into him at the Mau Lei Building afterwards and learns that he is staying with the KIMs. He complains that Ka Yan is too small in scale for him. He praises ATHENA, but at the same time criticizes everyone else and annoys them. ATHENA lets him drive her car and he crashes it. She is devastated after she loses her car, so she sends him to meet the client alone. He buys the KIMs dinner and hires some westerners to play music at the table. Mr. SZE admires SHAN very much, which pleases ROGER. However, ROGER only finds out that he has lost more than $1 million after taking a look at the contract. He decides to get rid of SHAN.

GUCCI cannot stand SHAN’s spending anymore. She plots some tricks to make him lose everything. MO witnesses it and laughs at him. The KIMs show up to support SHAN, which moves him. He finally has a mental breakthrough and decides to be realistic. GUCCI is delighted and begs ROGER to re-hire him. ROGER agrees to her request, but only on condition that SHAN apologizes to him in public.

SHAN brings more problems than help to the company, which annoys everyone. He volunteers to do housework for the KIMs. The next morning, GUCCI and SARAH are in shock at the state of their flat. The KIMs complain about SHAN, so they discuss how to make fun of him. LAU KAM orders SHAN to work for the A & ABC’s project. He later finds out that A & ABC is already closed down, and realizes that LAU KAM is playing a trick on him. He tears up all the documents in front of everyone, including a check. KITTY rushes to stop him, but it is too late. Unfortunately, the check is the remaining sum that A & ABC owes Ka Yan.

SHAN tears up the check from A & ABC, which should have paid everyone’s salary for the month. LAM SIN tells LAU KAM that he feels unwell. LAU KAM advises him to get some strengthening medicine from TAI LIK at Temple Street. LAM SIN buys some “Sex A-pills”, but these are later swapped by LAU KAM for some fake ones. KELLY and the other girls get hold of some coupons for “Slim-up” pills. ATHENA confiscates them using her position, and sends SHAN to get the pills. He asks LAU KAM to hand the pills to her, but LAU KAM passes her the “Sex A-pills” by accident. They both take the wrong pills and start to feel some biological changes in their bodies.

ATHENA has grown a beard, so she interrogates SHAN and demands that he is fired. NAM learns of it and accuses her of abuse of power. ATHENA orders SHAN to write a letter of apology, but he refuses. She makes everyone else work hard to make them resent SHAN. NAM finds out that the Kowloon Emperor is involved in the “Slim-up” pills, so she and SHAN investigate him. One day, the Kowloon Emperor comes up to the office to look for LAU KAM. SHAN overhears their conversation. He wants to report to ATHENA, but is stopped by LAU KAM. SHAN agrees to write a letter of apology, which disappoints NAM. He takes LAU KAM to a grave and tells him why he wrote the letter.

NAM disdains SHAN for writing the letter of apology and accuses him of wearing a mask. NAM finds that the underwear she bought with the other girls is gone and suspects SHAN. She plots to catch the thief. SHAN falls into her trap by accident, and she is more convinced that he is the thief. She then finds out that she was wrong and is sorry for causing an injury to SHAN’s hands. She brings him lunch. He takes the chance to play a trick on her. When she finds out that his hands were never hurt, she slaps him on the face.

At the Honey Cave, GEORGE tells everyone that he used to have a shirt which made him look tall and handsome, but he lost it a long time ago. ROGER wants to play ping-pong, so KELLY introduces him to SARAH. They get on really well. GEORGE sees SARAH pack away his beloved shirt and thinks that she is still in love with him, so he avoids her. She meets ROGER for another ping-pong game to kill some time. He is aching all over the next day. She feels sorry for causing him to suffer and cooks some rice noodles for him as compensation.

ROGER meets SARAH many times with the excuse of playing ping-pong. He dates her to see the stars and presents her with a bunch of roses. Unexpectedly, she uses the flowers for praying, which amuses ROGER and makes him feel that she is rather unusual. SARAH bumps into GEORGE in a bookstore. He avoids her again, hurting her feelings. ROGER asks OI to cancel his date with a top model. OI thinks that he is pursuing a girl because he has a bet with someone. KELLY and KITTY tell the KIMs about it. When ROGER is about to reveal his love to SARAH, the KIMs hit him on the head and he blacks out.

The KIMs are excited to learn that ROGER is in love with SARAH, but she avoids him. GEORGE shows up at the Honey Cave looking like a young man. Everyone guesses that he is in love, which makes SARAH feel bitter. ROGER is very short-tempered after being turned down by SARAH. He scolds MARCO and the others for skiving. LAU KAM argues that bringing ROGER and SARAH together is the only way to find peace. SARAH wanders on the street sadly. She quickly turns away when she sees ROGER. Then a robber kidnaps them both and takes them to a corrugated iron shack.

FRANCIS informs the others that GEORGE will bring his girlfriend to the Honey Cave. When GEORGE shows up with CHING YAN everyone is happy for him because she appears to be a nice girl. YAN forces GEORGE to become an insurance agent, which upsets him because he is still in love with the show business. After discussing with SARAH, he decides to carry on with his present job. FRANCIS has a car crash, and urgently needs a kidney transplant. GEORGE agrees to be the donor immediately, but YAN objects, making GEORGE reject her even more.

FRANCIS and the others suspect that GEORGE is suicidal after his relationship with YAN ends. SARAH causes a long wait for other customers in the bank just to make 20 cents more. GEORGE learns from a bank debit note that SARAH is the super fan who lent him $300,000 to pay off his debts. He loses consciousness at home. Luckily, SARAH is there to take good care of him. He challenges ROGER to an arm wrestle, but loses. He then decides to reveal his feelings to SARAH. While she is cleaning the toilet, GEORGE stands outside to ask her to cook him a Satay Macaroni if she accepts him. If she doesn’t, she should cook him a ham Macaroni. Unfortunately, SARAH has her earphones on and doesn’t hear a word.

KELLY, MARCO and TODAY try every trick to acquire their favorite things. LAU KAM is delighted to learn that he has what they want. KITTY uses an excuse to refuse intimacy with LAU KAM, which arouses his suspicion. He sees a man in KITTY’s flat and beats him up. He later finds out that the victim is a mainland tourist who is renting one of KITTY’s rooms. When LAU KAM returns home, he, based on a fortune-telling book, calculates that he is going to live to 82, but KITTY’s life span is only 42. He tries every way to extend KITTY’s life expectancy and shortening his own, but fails. He is shocked to learn from a fortune-telling professor the difference between “misfortune” and “life shortening”.

LAU KAM sees an old lady, KUK, leave something behind, so he chases after her. KUK thanks him for his kindness and suggests becoming his sworn mother. Everyone knows that KUK is a millionaire, although she doesn’t appear to be one. LAU KAM might have a chance to inherit her wealth if he becomes her sworn son. The whole thing excites him. MARCO and LAU KAM are disgusted by the intimate relationship between a handsome young boy and his wealthy sworn mother, WAI. KUK goes to tea with LAU KAM. LAU KAM originally thinks that having children is a good investment. However, he changes his mind when he sees how modern people abandon their aged parents. He thinks that his life will be sorted if KITTY has a life insurance policy with him as the beneficiary. Although KITTY has already bought a life insurance, he is not the beneficiary. KITTY accidentally breaks GUCCI’s expensive jade pendant. In order to compensate for it, she sells all her expensive items and tries to borrow money from ATHENA. ATHENA demands a high interest rate on the loan. In addition, she demands that KITTY dress up like a pregnant woman and pretend to beg her to leave her husband in order to show how attractive she is to men in their old classmate gathering. KITTY takes a big sum of money to return to GUCCI, who later tells her that the pendant is only worth $30,000 and the insurance company will pay for her loss……

LAU KAM knows that the winner of the quadrennial “South China Textile Design Talents Contest” will win $500,000. Unfortunately, ROGER announces that NAM and KITTY have been nominated to join the contest. LAU KAM tricks KITTY into quitting the contest. NAM also has to quit because of her skin allergy. ROGER and a client CHAN have a business meeting. CHAN derides the fact that NAM and KITTY are under standard. CHAN’s assistants and secretary use laptop computers and PDAs, but NAM and KITTY only use paper and pen to jot minutes. They even forget to bring the contract and are unfamiliar with the shipping schedule, which embarrasses ROGER. Meanwhile, LAU KAM appears and pulls ROGER from the awkward situation. ROGER decides to let him join the “Superboy” competition, which delights him.

LAU KAM is excited to join the “Superboy” competition. However, his family doesn’t share his enthusiasm. ROGER regrets nominating him. His mind wanders when he plays Ping-Pong with SARAH. LAU KAM reveals the hiding place of a contestant who is skiving. He frames an old contestant for abusing the ambulance services. He also arranges for another contestant’s girlfriends to meet together. KELLY warns KITTY that men usually abandon their old love when they become rich. Every lady in the office receives a phone message saying that LAU KAM is the snitcher. They happen to be in the same lift as LAU KAM. He takes the chance to introduce himself. The girls look at him aggressively.

LILY and two other office ladies buy themselves a diamond ring, some roses and some chocolate. ATHENA makes fun of them, saying it will only be special if the presents are from their boyfriends. ROGER picks up SARAH in a convertible. Her hair gets messed up in the wind. ROGER decides to change car. He bumps into ATHENA and gives her a lift. She is shocked to see the roses in the car and thinks that he wants to pursue her. In a banquet, ATHENA hears her girlfriends praise ROGER, which makes her fall for him. Meanwhile, ROGER invites her to dance, which gives her a chance to show off in front of her girlfriends.

LILY and two other office ladies gossip about how ROGER glows with satisfaction lately. ATHENA overhears their conversation and is happy for herself. ROGER drives her to the peak and asks when she will sign the paper. She replies in a shy manner, saying that she has to discuss with her parents. He is confused by her answer and realizes what she means when she takes over his car key. The cleaning lady, SISTER OI, accidentally breaks ROGER’s beloved antique vase, but he doesn’t ask her to pay for it. ATHENA’s feeling for him grows even more. She is excited when he asks her if she has time after work. However, ROGER only suggests that she should see a doctor about her dandruff, which annoys her very much.

ATHENA meets the KIMs at a night market. She ends up completely covered in soup. ROGER buys a medicinal tonic for his girlfriend. KITTY praises his girlfriend, which makes ATHENA feel sour. ATHENA is shocked to find out on the street that SARAH is ROGER’s girlfriend. LILY points out that being able to cook, careful with money and caring are the three main characteristics which will please a man. ATHENA decides to change herself. She joins voluntary work with SARAH to tidy up an old lady’s flat. However, the lady shouts at her and beats her up. She also orders her to clean up two buckets of stinking manure.

ATHENA approaches SARAH deliberately hoping to steal ROGER from her. Her colleagues have a meeting and conclude that ATHENA is suddenly getting on with SARAH for a reason. MARCO pours red paint over ATHENA, but she puts up with him. The next day, she brings some congee to the KIMs, who think that she has put poison in it. They decide to turn the situation around and force her to have the congee first. She loses consciousness immediately. She then tries to persuade SARAH to attend a ball held by a knight whose name is LAW with ROGER, hoping that she will make a fool of herself.

ATHENA fails to humiliate SARAH at the ball and her behavior ends up helping SARAH. LAU KAM waits for a chance to strike ATHENA if ROGER becomes his support. ATHENA is very annoyed and decides to change her strategy to pushing SARAH to leave ROGER. Her plan succeeds. SARAH thinks that ROGER is having an affair and wants to split up with him. She refuses to see him. MARCO and the others try to mediate between them, but SARAH points out that they only want to keep ROGER as their backup. ROGER is depressed. ATHENA sends him home. She tries to get him drunk and have a relationship with him but…

ATHENA and ROGER fall into the swimming pool while they are struggling with each other. SARAH calls up ATHENA after breaking up with ROGER. ATHENA sends KITTY to meet with SARAH, who is moved to see her. ATHENA breaks ROGER’s beloved ping-pong bat, and ROGER threatens to dismiss her. She agrees to help him get back with SARAH. She demands that MARCO, FRANCIS and LAU KAM work with her to pull ROGER and SARAH back together. Luckily, they succeed. MARCO, FRANCIS and LAU KAM receive a warning letter from the company while they are having breakfast, so they rush back to the office.

People in the office find out that ATHENA has been sending chocolate flowers to herself, and suspect that she is lying about dating someone. She claims that a handsome chief inspector NG MAN TAK is her boyfriend, but no one believes her. The KIMs bump into her when she is praying at the “Lover’s wishing stone”. She insists that she has come with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, SHAN exposes her lie by accident. It is SHAN’s last day of probation. ATHENA thinks that ROGER should dismiss him immediately. However, NAM thinks that he should be given a contract because he has just closed a big contract for the company. ROGER decides to keep him.

ROGER announces that if the company is doing well by the end of the year, everyone will get a bonus. He passes two big clients to NAM and ATHENA to follow. ATHENA goes to T & B to talk to SIMON, who is known as the best bachelor. She arrogantly humiliates SIMON’s secretary and is then embarrassed to find out that the secretary is SIMON’s fiancee. Meanwhile, NAM and SHAN have a meeting with tycoon HO at his home. HO agrees to talk to them further when they ride horses together next time. NAM is afraid of animals. SHAN patiently teaches her how to ride a horse. He also helps her to conquer her fear using his wit. NAM and HO ride together. HO praises her riding skills and agrees to increase his order. She is shocked to find HO lying unconscious on the horse a while later.

Rumours circulate that HO had a stroke while he was having sex. SHAN defends NAM. ROGER is chased out of HO’s room by his daughter and he takes his anger out on NAM. SHAN manages to distract the guards and HO’s daughter’s attention and lets NAM into the room. She finds out by surprise that she knows HO’s daughter, GRACE. GRACE chases NAM out of the room angrily. SHAN and NAM look for GRACE to discuss the business proposal, which HO has verbally agreed. GRACE invites them to attend a charity party for the children’s fund. NAM is delighted. However, it is GRACE’s plot to take revenge on NAM for damaging HO’s integrity.

NAM and GRACE’s business meeting falls through. ROGER points out that it is not NAM who is at fault, but her subordinates. ATHENA derides NAM for sacrificing her subordinates. The KIMs see SHAN getting into GRACE’s sports car. They demand that SHAN reveal his relationship with GRACE. SHAN is holding an umbrella and waiting for TODAY at a building when he meets GRACE. GRACE thinks that he wants to get back with her, but he declares to her that they are finished. ROGER is worried that he will lose HO’s business, so ATHENA tries to advise him. GRACE takes HO to Ka Yan and scolds ATHENA for nearly killing HO. HO decides to increase his order on condition that NAM is in charge.

KELLY finds out that she is carrying twins. The KIMs take good care of her. A TV commercial company invites her to act in a milk powder advert, which makes her even more daring. Every KIM is suffering. KELLY sees ATHENA being unreasonable in an electrical appliance shop, so she asks MARCO to read SUN’s Battle Tactics to their unborn babies, much to his annoyance. KELLY’s TV commercial comes out, but it only shows the bits of KELLY being an agitated mother. She is very annoyed and demands that MARCO give her a reason. She even swears that she will not let it go.

KELLY and MARCO go up to the advertising company to find out why they played a trick on her. She lies about having a tummy ache and threatens that if anything happens to her babies because she is so angry, then it may get onto the news, which would definitely affect the sales of the milk powder. The company agrees to pay her off. LAU KAM finds his portraits posted on the street. Meanwhile, TODAY’s producer complains about her not speaking clearly. KELLY is behind it all. She claims that LAU KAM and TODAY’s bad habits are having bad influences on her babies. KELLY’s brother KONG goes to the KIM family and demands that LAU KAM apologise to KELLY. Meanwhile, an accident happens.

KEI SUM blames KONG for bringing KELLY home and making the whole family suffer. LAU KAM takes MARCO to a sauna parlour when KELLY is not around. KEI SUM deceives MARCO into thinking that KELLY cries everyday since leaving the KIMs. MARCO is glad to learn from her that KELLY had agreed to go back home if he apologises to her. When KELLY is waiting for him on a street, LAU KAM suddenly calls him. Meanwhile, KELLY is knocked down by a hawker and is sent to hospital. She sees MARCO and LAU KAM walking out from a sauna parlour when KONG and KEI SUM take her home. KELLY demands a divorce, much to MARCO’s dismay. LAU KAM and TODAY, however, congratulate him. GUCCI scolds them immediately.

GUCCI blames the others for causing KELLY’s departure, so she forces everybody to apologise to KELLY. KEI SUM bumps into CHOI TING TING, a fortune-teller, and learns that her life should have ended, but KELLY’s twins have extended it. The KIMs bring presents to apologise to KELLY. However, KEI SUM stops them from taking KELLY home because her babies will bring her good luck. MARCO doesn’t show up to beg KELLY to go back home, so she lies to him saying that something went wrong at KEI SUM’s home and she will move to an apartment. He tells her to check into a youth hostel instead.

PETER dresses up like Spiderman to propose to NAM, which scares her big client off. ROGER is very annoyed and awards the biggest bonus to ATHENA. PETER presents NAM with a diamond ring, so LAU KAM pretends to be a property developer and her boyfriend. Unfortunately, PETER sees through his lie. SHAN is short of money. NAM lends him money, but he has to pretend to be her boyfriend in front of PETER. PETER is scared by SHAN’s hobbies like flying a private jet, so he invites him for a game of golf, which he still loses. Another pursuer appears, NAM is shocked and asks SHAN for help again.

NAM pays SHAN to become her secret contract boyfriend. Their colleagues notice that SHAN has suddenly become wealthy, and interrogate him. Luckily, NAM helps him out. She demands that SHAN has an oyster eating competition with one of her pursuers, which makes him feel sick from being too full. She even pushes him into the sea in order to scare another pursuer, who declares his love for her by jumping into the sea. SHAN wants to break up the contract, but is tied up by NAM’s offer. Their colleagues see SHAN and a gay man YEUNG SHAN are very intimate and suspect that SHAN is being “taken care of”. They follow SHAN and are shocked to see he and NAM hugging.

SHAN and NAM deliberately pretend to be intimate in front of other people. GUCCI worries that NG SAU will break them up, so she invites him to an expensive meal and presents him with expensive gifts to bribe him. However, he scolds her instead. NAM scolds MARCO and the others for doing a bad job. They think that she is taking her anger out on them after having an argument with SHAN, so they try hard to pull her and SHAN back together. They give NAM and SHAN presents and flowers to celebrate, and demand that they kiss. After the kiss, they rush to the back ally to clean their mouths and start shouting at each other. Meanwhile, the others appear and find out that they are only contract lovers.

ATHENA makes fun of NAM and SHAN’s fake relationship, much to NAM’s annoyance. SHAN is beaten up by NAM’s pursuers. The KIMs also give GUCCI a hard time for being obsequious toward NG SAU for SHAN. SHAN has no choice but to put up with the incorrect accusation. He sends the wrong samples to a big client, resulting in cancellation of the order and NAM shouts at him. He wants to take some fashion design courses, but the school fee is too expensive. NAM hears about it and decides to help him. SHAN is delighted to find an enrolment notification attached with a scholarship confirmation letter when he gets home. He wants to take one more course, so he calls up the school for enquiry and finds out there is no scholarship. He then finds a school fee receipt in NAM’s room and suspects that NAM did everything for him.

LAU KAM accidentally deletes a contract from SHAN’s computer. SHAN plans to rewrite it in the office after school, but NAM is already writing it for him. NAM has a cold. SHAN is grateful for her help and is sorry that she has fallen ill because of helping him. She is resting at home. He secretly gets into her flat to take care of her and gets hurt as a result. NAM sees his fingers covered in plasters and asks if he has cooked some congee for her. He admits to it and reveals that he loves her. She warns him that she is a cursed woman.

NAM lists out many examples to prove that she is cursed, but SHAN insists that he will not give her up. MARCO and the others practise how to lose a friendly football match to Fong’s Co., which makes everyone suffer. NAM tells ALEX, one of her pursuers, that SHAN is her boyfriend. Everyone in Ka Yan lines up to welcome the Fong’s Co. representative. NAM is shocked to see that ALEX is the representative. LAU KAM advises ROGER to put NAM and ALEX together. ROGER has to urgently call off LAU KAM’s plan when he finds out that ALEX hates to be cheated.

ALEX suspects NAM and SHAN’s love relationship, so he hires private investigators to check it out. The KIMs force NG SAU to move in to let SHAN and NAM pretend to be living together. LAU KAM, MARCO, KELLY and FRANCIS decorate NAM’s home. SHAN and NAM come home and find no food in the flat, and have to starve overnight. Meanwhile, NG SAU is very unsettled in the KIMs’, and wants to go home to check out NAM and SHAN. However, he is scared by the way that GUCCI eats and loses consciousness.

The KIMs force SHAN and NAM to put on matching outfits, which annoys them. They try to cook together after work, but neither of them knows how, so they have to eat canned food instead. At night, while they are having a long chat, ALEX suddenly rushes in and finds some flaws in their relationship. Meanwhile, there is an unexpected thunderclap. SHAN wraps a blanket around NAM and comforts her. ALEX leaves suddenly after seeing that.

ROGER says that SHAN and NAM look very suitable for each other, but she indicates that she will not consider SHAN at all. SHAN leaves NAM’s home, and both feel loath to part from each other. SARAH accidentally breaks SHAN’s expensive watch, but SHAN doesn’t care. He does, however, lose his temper when he sees LAU KAM using the tie that NAM gave him to scratch his back. NAM’s mind wanders at breakfast time and she wonders if she has fallen in love with SHAN. She is bothered by her pursuers again. Luckily, SHAN appears to save her. However, she tells him not to pretend to be her boyfriend again. In order to stop him from approaching her, she tries to find him a girlfriend.

FRANCIS brings everyone, but TODAY, a present from his business trip, because she asked him not to bring back anything for her. She is very annoyed and wishes to split up with him. NAM wants to bring SHAN and TODAY together, but feels sour when he puts a jacket on TODAY. She is even more jealous when she overhears SHAN inviting TODAY to go to Cheung Chau. He sees NAM waiting at the pier and asks her to face her true feelings. She doesn’t know how to react, so she denies that she loves him, which leaves him no choice.

SHAN finds out by chance that NAM lied to him about being cursed. Unfortunately, she still rejects him. TODAY arranges for SHAN to meet with NAM, which makes NAM lose her temper. NAM and ATHENA both refuse to be the manager of the Mainland factory. NAM recommends SHAN to ROGER. SHAN understands her intention and accepts the job. She loses control when she is told that SHAN has been seriously hurt in a fire in the factory. She feels relieved after verifying that SHAN was not badly injured. TODAY knows that she loves him and asks her why she can’t give him a chance, so she tells her what happened to her family before, which influences her decision.

MARCO and LAU KAM visit SHAN in Dongguan and find him drinking heavily. SHAN develops a skin rash soon after returning to Hong Kong. GUCCI advises him to stick to a straight diet, but he deliberately eats a lot of deep fried food. ROGER allows him to stay in Hong Kong, thinking that he has a skin allergy from the Mainland. NAM scolds him for lacking ambition. TODAY knows that she is harsh on him for a reason, so she tries to comfort him. He decides to save up after her scolding. He meets his biggest rival SZE MO in a bank and they start arguing. SHAN is devastated to find his beloved car damaged by MO’s mistress, and it is towed away. LAU KAM tries to calm him down.

SHAN swears that he will work hard to get back what he lost, which comforts NAM. ROGER finds a potential client and tells his subordinates that everyone will have a big bonus if they can close the deal. Otherwise, someone will be laid off. Unfortunately, SZE MO is the client. MO flirts with NAM when they are discussing the contract, so she pours some wine on his face and leaves. She tells ROGER that the deal with MO is off, which disappoints everyone. Meanwhile, MO shows up with a bunch of flowers and a signed contract. ROGER is most delighted. Everyone is happy for NAM’s good luck.

LILY, SUGAR and GIGI agree to help SHAN to fight against MO, but when MO sends them presents, they turn around to praise him. MARCO and LAU KAM have an argument with some other customers in a restaurant. MO settles it for them and impresses them. GUCCI, SARAH and SHAN are chased by a vicious dog for no reason. Luckily, MO appears suddenly and saves them, but he is hurt by the dog. GUCCI and SARAH bring some soup to him in the hospital. He is deliberately harsh on NAM when they discuss the contract in order to extend the meeting. She has a headache. SHAN wants to buy her some painkillers, but MO sends his subordinates to buy up the painkillers near the office.

NAM receives a bottle of paper stars. Everyone thinks that it is from MO, but NAM tells SHAN that she knows it is from him, and scolds him for wasting time. He works part-time in a convenience store. She brings MO to the store to upset him. MO signs a contract with Ka Yan. SHAN feels sick seeing MO showing off. He overhears MO’s order to his subordinates and worries that he will harm NAM, so he dresses up like a deliveryman to get into MO’s house. He suddenly loses control and beats MO up.

SHAN and MO have a fight. SHAN finds out later that he has misunderstood him. GUCCI advises SHAN not to judge MO. SHAN asks NAM to avoid MO, but she refuses and derides him. He gives her up completely and resigns. NAM tells TODAY that she is mean to SHAN for his sake and hopes that he will succeed one day. SHAN asks Mr. CHONG to hire him to work in his South America branch, which he agrees. He goes back to Ka Yan to pack up and throws away all the paper stars. NAM picks them back up. Everyone sees SHAN off. He swears to NAM that he will only return to Hong Kong if he succeeds.

NAM tells the KIMs that she and MO are only business partners, which everyone doubts. GEORGE has very little work. He feels very sour seeing that SARAH and ROGER are still close. He meets an old classmate LI LIN YING in the company. YING thanks him in front of everyone for giving him the chance of an audition, which brought him success. GEORGE keeps his regret to himself. He feels like a loser both at work and in love. While he is wandering on the street, a Hollywood movie scout spots him and invites him for an audition.

SARAH learns that GEORGE is preparing for an audition, so she volunteers to gather newspaper cuttings for him. She also rehearses some scenes with him. They are so involved they nearly kiss each other. The director asks GEORGE act like a person who has lost all hope in life, which he feels that he didn’t do well. He wants to give up acting and start his own business. SARAH learns about it and tries to comfort him. She doesn’t give enough time to ROGER because of GEORGE. She even goes back to her old looks, which scares the KIMs. ROGER thinks that he is not treating SARAH well enough, so he pays even more attention to her. After dinner, she sees a beggar on the road and thinks that he is a ghost, so she shouts out GEORGE’s name by accident.

SARAH understands that she has to avoid seeing GEORGE for now she is ROGER’s girlfriend. She sees ROGER meeting a very pretty client, but she is not annoyed. An herbal tea shop is giving out some badges to attract customers and SARAH is one of them. However, she can’t bear the biter taste of the tea and returns empty-handed. GEORGE gets hold of some badges for her and mixes them in with some cloth pegs, which surprises her. GEORGE has a chance to develop in Hollywood. LAU KAM points out that he is not meant to be in a western country. Only AUNT LUNG’s luck charm will protect him. SARAH learns about it and humbly begs AUNT LUNG for the charm. She puts it into GEORGE’s jacket pocket. Coincidently, GEORGE puts more badges into her cloth peg holder. Love suddenly sparkles between them.

SARAH is bothered by the love triangle between GEORGE, ROGER and her. GEORGE decides to give up Hollywood and stays for her. He tries to ask ROGER to meet him on the roof and tells him everything, but fails. He and SARAH go out for a date and are nearly seen by ROGER. ROGER finds SARAH acting suspiciously lately, so he asks MARCO and the others to investigate her. They find her meeting GEORGE in a grave yard and think that she is possessed. MARCO and GUCCI follow her to the grave yard. They show up when SARAH and GEORGE are discussing how to improve ROGER’s heart function.

GUCCI and the others decide not to tell ROGER about SARAH and GEORGE’s relationship. ROGER suddenly returns from Shanghai and is angry to find SARAH and GEORGE holding hands together. The others lie to him saying that someone has played a trick and put some glue on their hands. ROGER believes them. He takes out a ring, which shocks SARAH. She pretends to be sick and runs straight home. The others try to comfort ROGER and explain to him how much stress SARAH is having from dating him. They are worried that SARAH is putting herself into a drama series and reminds ROGER to watch it finale. Surprisingly, the soap finishes with a happy ending. Meanwhile, ROGER shows up with some flowers and a ring. SARAH is shocked and runs away with GEORGE in no time.

KELLY shouts at MARCO in a restaurant. Everyone suspects that she is suffering from pre-natal depression. She has offended LAU KAM, and so he scolds her. When she is trying to get back the mark six ticket, which is hidden inside LAU KAM’s sock, the others notice that the combination was contributed by everyone, but KELLY denies it. MARCO laughs at his old friend who is over protective towards his pregnant wife. The KIMs has a barbeque. Meanwhile, KELLY has a belly ache. Everyone thinks that she is about to give birth. Fortunately, she is just having a tummy ache. She is attended 24 hours by the KIMs. She tells the doctor about the KIMs’ strange behavior and the doctor diagnoses that all the KIMs are suffering from pre-natal depression.

KELLY has won the first prize in a lucky draw. Unfortunately, pregnant women are not qualified for the draw, much to KELLY’s annoyance. She hears that if a woman gives birth in an aeroplane, the baby can have free rides forever. KELLY is determined to get her babies some free benefits. TODAY tells her that a television broadcasting company is giving away free milk powders, nappies and a scholarship to babies born at the strike of the New Year. KELLY’s babies are due on the 8th, so she plans to induce them.

KELLY has given birth to twins. Everyone argues over how to name the babies. Finally, they are named KIM FOON and KIM HEI, following the rules in the family name book. KELLY wants to take a shower and wash her hair, but the KIMs cut off her water supply to prevent her from doing so. MARCO forces his colleagues to look at some photos and video of the twins when they are eating some prickled gingers and pig feet in the office. Everyone is annoyed. MARCO and KELLY are woken up by their sons. Neither of them wants to take care of the babies, so they push the cot to another room. The babies’ crying wakes everyone up and they find that the babies are unattended.

LAU KAM has lost FOON by accident. He and KITTY want to find him by offering to change nappies for babies on the street, but fail. He wants to push the blame on GUCCI, but she sees through his plot. While they are wondering what to do, they receive a phone call saying that the caller has FOON. LAU KAM overhears TAI TSUN and his wife’s conversation in the toilet and suspects that they have kidnapped FOON. So he decides to investigate them.

The KIMs receive a call from a woman saying that she can send the baby home if they pay her. They bring money to meet her in a restaurant and find out the baby is not FOON. It turns out that LAM SIN and KEI SUM have taken FOON out. They return him to the Honey Cave. BOON YAT SIN points out that GUCCI brings bad luck to her grandchildren. She finds bruises and cuts on them when she gets home. She is so worried that she has to leave home. The KIMs worry a lot about GUCCI. She meets BOON YAT SIN again and finds out what he said about her grandchildren was all rubbish. When she goes home with the others, she realizes that her infrared belt was the reason why the babies cried, which relieves her.

MARCO and KELLY have to meet a client, so they ask KITTY to take care of the babies. LAU KAM tells them how careless KITTY is normally. They are so scared and run straight home. Surprisingly, they find that KITTY is taking very good care of the babies. KITTY and LAU KAM take some wedding photos. She takes the chance to force him to marry her earlier, but fails. He has a car accident, which worries her a lot. He tries to trick her to give up the idea of having a baby. She goes to pray for him. BOON YAT SIN tells her that LAU KAM can only get married but not have a child. Otherwise, he might die.

KITTY tells LAU KAM that she is too old to have a baby, much to his delight. He has lots of grey hair and is laughed at being old. The others say that he will live alone, but he replies that he has KITTY. He has a fever. The KIMs are too busy to take him to the doctor’s, so he goes alone and has an accidental fall. He is admitted to the hospital. An old man stays next to him tells him how glad he is to have a son to take care of him in his old age. LAU KAM is convinced by him to start up a family. He proposes to KITTY. She agrees to marry him but is not prepared to have a child with him.

LAU KAM has BOON YAT SIN’s consent to try to trick KITTY to agree on having a child with him, but their plot fails. She threatens to leave him. KITTY dresses up elegantly to go to work. KELLY says that she might have met someone else. LAU KAM believes that KITTY is only doing that to annoy him. The KIMs are having a meal in a high class restaurant. They bump into KITTY and PAUL, who is a lawyer. LAU KAM speaks sarcastically, but ends up being humiliated. The others ask KITTY to forgive LAU KAM, but KITTY tells them that she and PAUL are in love and that they plan to get married soon. The news hits LAU KAM really hard.

LAU KAM tries to visit KITTY, but is sent home. He dresses up to go to work and pretends that he has a date. He also arranges a beautiful extra to be his girlfriend, but his plan fails. He asks a good friend to investigate PAUL and finds that PAUL is better than him in any way. He decides to frame him by putting some pornographic materials in his suit jacket. Unfortunately, he cocks it up and embarrasses himself instead.

GUCCI and the others decide to help LAU KAM to get KITTY back. He plays the piano for her, but is found out playing a tape. She is very annoyed by his lack of sincere. She agrees to get back to him if he wins a competition in there days’ time. However, he joins many competitions and loses each one of them. KITTY decides to meet with PAUL’s parents in the States. LAU KAM knows that she will meet PAUL in the airport, so he asks LAM SIN to take him there. Coincidentally, a marathon is held on the highway and the road is blocked. He gets off the car and runs. He wins the race eventually.

SARAH finds her egg tarts are stolen. Everyone thinks that TAI TSUN and HELENA did it. The next day, the thief shows up again. MARCO fails to catch him, but GUCCI does. A neighbor, UNCLE CHOI, says that MARCO and TODAY don’t inherit any of GUCCI’s smartness. LAU KAM points out that it might have skipped a generation. KELLY decides that her sons should become lawyers or doctors. The others ask FOON and HEI to decide their future. The babies pick up a cross and a Buddhist necklace among other things, an implication that they want to become a monk or a priest when they grow up.

GUCCI wants to have a family gathering, but the KIMs have already had their own plans. LAU KAM swears that he will find GUCCI a partner. He finds out that she likes someone like kungfu master WONG, who likes to help people. A customer smokes in the Honey Cave. GUCCI fails to tell him off. While they are arguing, a man suddenly comes up and kicks the smoker out of the restaurant. The next day, GUCCI falls down when she is delivering some takeaway. The same man appears to help her again. He leaves her with his jacket and a good impression.

The man is called UNCLE SUEN. He notices that GUCCI has a backache, so he teaches her tai chi and she teaches him dancing in return. He also helps her to take care of her grandsons. She falls for his manhood. HELENA has joined the “Greatest Mother” competition. The KIMs nominate GUCCI to join. She dreams of being awarded the honor of a chaste widowed woman. However, SUEN suddenly appears and makes her lose the honor. GUCCI avoids him the next day. He visits her at her flat. Meanwhile, the KIMs come back. She is pushing him into her room when his cell phone rings. The others therefore mistakes that there is a thief. The next day, the KIMs tell her in the Honey Cave that they don’t mind her getting married again.

Some triads show up at where TODAY and GEORGE are filming. SUEN appears to settle the event. The news reports that the police are fighting against some triad organizations. One of the master minds has been caught. One is dead and one has escaped. GUCCI passes by a funeral parlor the next day and SUEN is there for the deceased, who is none other than the master mind. She dreams of having a wedding in a church with SUEN when Police Inspector WONG suddenly appears. WONG finds some criminal evidence on him. She is woken up by her dream. The nest day, she tells SUEN that she doesn’t want to be connected to him. He tries to explain, but she will not listen.

GUCCI destroys the presents that SUEN has given her before. She insists not to be his girlfriend. SUEN chases after her. She demands that he leaves the organization. She overhears his phone conversation and knows that he has not left it. When she confronts him about it, she finds out that everything is just a misunderstanding. He looks for her to have a chat. The KIMs think that he is going to reveal his feelings to her. However, it turns out that everything is only GUCCI’s fantasy.

NAM suddenly remembers that she is nearly 28, so she asks TODAY out and hands her all her stock shares. TODAY laughs at her, saying that it looks like she is preparing for her death. SZE MO tries to talk to NAM in a pub, but she ignores him. He has a bet of $300,000 with his friends that he will get NAM. NG SAU is cheated $3 millions by his colleagues. NAM worries for his future, so she buys lots of mark six tickets. None of them wins. NAM sees SUGAR looking for a new owner for her dog, so she decides to look for a woman for SAU, too.

NG SAU tries to locate his colleague “Prop CHAN”, wishing that he will pay him back. NAM tries to take him home, but fails. GUCCI passes by and manages to convince him to go home. BOON YAT SIN says that GUCCI and SAU have a relationship for seven lives. NAM wants to pull them together after hearing that. MO proposes to NAM with a diamond ring, which is worth $3 millions. She agrees to marry him for SAU’s future. She and MO play golf. She finds out that MO is pursuing her for a bet with his friends.

GUCCI mentions about SHAN. NAM doesn’t reply. ROGER has a big contract, but the client insists that NAM to meet him. It turns out that SHAN is the client. He sought for opportunities in the South America and has become the director of a company. He deliberately gives NAM a hard time and demands to have the proposal by the next day. MO comes to Ka Yan to pick up NAM. He tells SHAN that he will marry NAM, which shocks him. SHAN turns down GUCCI’s proposal on opening a restaurant in South America. He goes on and humiliates the Honey Cave, which outrages GUCCI so much that she swears not to see him again.

MO tries to sell his company. SHAN is interested, but MO turns him down. SHAN is not satisfied with NAM’s proposal, so she holds her anger and modifies it again. SHAN offers NAM $4 millions to break her engagement with MO, which she accepts. SHAN scolds her for being materialistic. He also thanks her for abandoning him before, which has stimulated him to work hard. NAM swears that they are not friends anymore.

SHAN and NAM turn their back to each other. GUCCI tries to test NAM’s feeling for SHAN by setting up a road side funeral for him, but fails. TODAY and NG SAU have returned from the mainland after a filming trip. KELLY suggests having a dinner out. TODAY advises NAM to tell SHAN the truth, but she insists her to keep it a secret. The KIMs talk about SHAN’s new girlfriend. NAM thinks that they are playing a trick on her. Meanwhile, SHAN and his girlfriend VIVIAN appear. He introduces her to everyone as his fiancee, which shocks NAM.

The KIMs visit SZE MAN’s grave. TODAY takes the chance to scold SHAN for being ungrateful. NAM prepares some information on wedding for SHAN. TODAY praises her greatness. VIVIAN and her brother TO dine with the KIMs. GUCCI praises TO’s personality. TO replies her that he is very easy going, but he will not allow anyone to bully his younger sister. SHAN distributes his wedding invitation cards in Ka Yan and ends up having an argument with NAM. He finds out that NAM has ordered a coffin, which he thinks that she is playing a joke on him on his wedding day. Later, he is shocked to find her name on the tablet.

SHAN finds out that NAM has a terminal disease, so he looks everywhere for her. Meanwhile, the KIMs try every way to destroy SHAN and VIVIAN’s wedding. SHAN dresses up as a monk to wait in a temple for NAM to show up to visit her late parents. When she does, he asks to be with her until the end of her life. They walk along the beach and talk about the past. NAM’s scarf is blown away. SHAN worries that it is the sign indicates that NAM is dying.

NAM and SHAN are delighted to find that her father is someone else, so she has not inherited the family disease. GUCCI forces SHAN to tell VIVIAN that he loves NAM. When he is about to do it, VIVIAN tells him that her father’s car has been bombed and her brother has been retained in the airport. She is not sure if they are dead or alive. SHAN doesn’t want to hurt either NAM or VIVIAN. He gets the KIMs to help him so that he can go out with both girls.

SHAN loses consciousness and is sent to the hospital. NAM and VIVIAN want to visit him, but are sent back by the KIMs. They overhear the KIMs talking about SHAN hopping around two girls, so they decide to test SHAN’s feeling. They find that he loves NAM most. TO takes his revenge at the Honey Cave. He makes all the KIMs feel sick. One day, TO’s father KWO looks for TO at the Honey Cave and that is when the others realize that TO has gone missing.

The KIMs learn from the news that TO’s car has crashed and caught fire, but the driver is no where to be seen. The KIMs report themselves to the police respectively saying that they are involved in TO’s death. The police send them home for lack of evidence. The KIMs want to find out the truth, so they ask SHAN to simulate the crime scene. Unexpectedly, they are robbed at the hillside. LAU KAM manages to escape and finds TO being tied up on a tree. When he is happily thinking about the reward…
