51mLuka receives a call for military service and decides to propose to his girlfriend, Daria. Her parents are a bit reserved, because, as Croats, they believe that the Serbs in Knin have decided to discriminate against them. Luka is recruited to serve in a special military unit, and in Knin in particular. During training, he proves to be a good soldier and his superiors plan to appoint him as an instructor.
