Adem, a simple man living a modest life with his wife and two children, works as a straightforward clerk at the mint. Despite wanting to lead a life of virtue, kindness, and ethical values, the harsh financial realities and the weight of his responsibilities as a father begin to overwhelm him. In an effort to cheer up his son Arda, who suffers from bullying, and to prove that he once truly was an artist behind money design, Adem’s actions turn his family’s world upside down. At this turning point, he crosses paths again with his brother Kartal, whom he had kept his distance from—a man notorious for his trickery and scams. Kartal, Adem’s complete opposite, is willing to use any means necessary to make easy money, and has even gotten involved in something that will later haunt them. Faced with his wife Canan’s exhaustion from years of financial struggle and his daughter Naz’s growing expectations, Adem finds himself at a breaking point.
