Jacs returns to her home town following the death of her best friend, Kel. Once there, she discovers that Kel was involved in a secret relationship with a man, known only as Do Not Message, whom she suspects brought about her friend’s downfall.
Jacs’ search for Do Not Message sees her begin to date local men, which leads to shocking consequences, as Jacs battles with intrusive thoughts of hurting the very men she is being intimate with.
