Moses relays new laws to the people, then leaves with Joshua to spend 40 days and nights on the mountain. In Moses’s absence, Aaron loses control of the people, while Miriam faces obstacles in her mission to build a meeting tent for the women.

Moses tries to convince a stubborn craftsman to build a tabernacle for the people. Aaron micromanages the tabernacle collection process while Miriam and Zipporah spend some quality time with Chisisi.

Moses takes his chiefs and elders on an educational retreat called “Law School,” not knowing that Miriam and Zipporah have snuck in as well. Aaron searches for Joseph’s bones while Chisisi tries to make contact with his Egyptian family.

Moses tries to tie up some loose ends as the opening ceremony for the tabernacle approaches. Miriam and Zipporah host auditions for ceremony performers while Joshua tries to get his deposit back from his cancelled birthday party.
