Jenny, Jonas, and Malin Berggren, along with Ulf Ekberg, form a band named Tech Noir and later change the name to Ace of Base. They get rejected for a record deal in Stockholm. However, they soon become a global phenomenon with their debut album.
In early 1993, the truth about Ulf's background emerges, forcing him to face the media and make amends. At the same time, the band's debut album in the USA becomes a best-seller. Soon another discovery is made — that the group's pay isn't equal.
