Alka brings Georgiy to meet his mother. At the same time, Elena tells her daughter about Pavel Vesnin. Everything in Maria Petrovna’s apartment is being arranged for the birth of her grandson. Kulachev and Maria make up - they are together again. Kulachev asks permission to move in with her. Elena gives birth to a boy, but she herself dies during childbirth.
