Defu keeps Baoyou company at the hospital and reminisces their time together as ex-colleagues. He used to like her. Limin tags along when Renpin brings a client to view Mr. Lin's place. Mr. Lin scares the client off. Baoyou runs into Defu while buying chee cheong fun (flat rice noodle) and bursts into sudden tears.

Limin convinces Mr. Hou to give her a chance after her agents' departure. Hao Yun mistakenly thinks Limin and Mr. Hou are having an affair. An upset Limin leaves when Xiaomei insinuates she is an adulterer during dinner. Xiulan is drawn to the stilt house during her viewing. Mdm Ang treats her like her daughter. Xiulan is moved.

Mr. Lin frustrates Renpin with his refusal to sell the house. Leia is upset that Renpin is prioritising work over her. Xiulan's husband refuses to buy Mdm Ang's house because it's too old. He reveals that Xiulan is sick. An outraged Limin yells at Haojian for his irresponsible actions on their daughter's death anniversary.

Baoyou and her father decide to sell their house after they find that Baoan and Baocai are debt-ridden. Defu tries living with a stoma bag. Baoyou is touched yet amused by his attempts to counsel her. Renpin tries to find out why Mr. Lin refuses to sell his house and is surprised to see him talking to his closet.

Mr. Lin reveals his guilt over his daughter's death to Renpin. Limin asks Robert why he's in a rush to sell his house and believes him when he says that he wants to take his godmother traveling. Renpin asks Wan Zixiong to help Mr. Lin move on. Zixiong pretends to sense the spiritual presence of Mr. Lin's daughter. Unbeknownst to them, someone is secretly filming everything.

Zixiong urges Defu to get married, to no avail. Limin sells a few Stevan condo units by marketing them as bachelor's pads. Xiulan can't get over the stilt house. She relapses and is hospitalised, deepening Hongwei's hostility towards Limin. With Jingjing's help, Zhongyi completes the RES exam. Renpin neglects Leia due to work and stumbles upon her colleague trying to kiss her on his way home.

Leia lies to Renpin about her affair with Gordon. Limin convinces Robert and Mdm Ang to lower their asking price and successfully helps Xiulan and Hongwei buy the stilt house. With Zixiong's help, Renpin convinces Mr. Lin to sell his house and move on. Defu suspects his client Mr Lee is trying to squeeze him dry and strangles him in a fit of rage.

Renpin suspects Yen is behind online rumours claiming Mr. Lin's house is haunted. Jason, a street artiste Haojian tipped before, can't afford repairs after his house caught fire. Haojian offers to do it for free. Defu reports Mr. Lee for hiring illegal workers. Limin discovers Leia and Robert bought a counterXiaofeit bag and worries that Robert is scamming Mdm Ang. Baoyou's heart stops during her surgery.

Defu and Limin discover Baoyou's brothers want to send their father to a nursing home. Limin tries to expose Robert's true colors. Renpin fails to turn up for Leia's work gathering, Gordon tries to make a move on Leia. Neighbour Ah-Chao disrupts the renovation work at Jason's house. Wan Zi Xiong impersonates a Feng Shui master to help Ah-Chao but is exposed by Huiling...

Defu and Haojian's renovation is disrupted by Ah-Chao, who threatens to burn the place down. Haojian refuses to call the cops. Zixiong tries to help Ah-Chao and Haojian ends up injured. Limin and gang stage a trap to expose Robert. Limin tries to convince Mdm Ang that Robert has ulterior motives.

Zixiong gets Ah-Chao to take medication and go for therapy, putting an end to Haojian and Defu's renovation woes. After Robert is arrested, Limin contacts Mdm Ang's daughter Mulan, who decides to send her mother to a nursing home. Despite this, mother and daughter manages to reconcile. The injured Limin and Haojian appear to rekindle their love as they help each other.

Limin exposes Baoan and Baocai's ploy to send Mr. Shen to a nursing home and help Baoyou and her father save their house. Baoyou is moved by Wanfu's thoughtfulness. Old flames are rekindled. Renpin recommends Mr. Lin's house to Xuanying. Her brother Yuze disapproves. A drunk Zhongyi kisses and confesses to Jingjing after getting his RES licence.

Limin softens up towards Haojian after Huiling reminds her that he's trying to change. Limin promises to sell all Stevans units in five days when Mr. Hou tells her Andy can help sell off the remaining units. Baoyou sees constant shadows after her surgery and finally has a meltdown.

Moved by Defu's support, Baoyou develops feelings for him. Renpin takes Leia to an escape room and gets into a dispute with Yuze, who works part-time there. Limin ignores Andy's intimidations and insists on selling the final three units herself. As the deadline approaches, a despairing Limin receives good news.

Jingjing refuses to pay rent to her landlord in advance, in their dispute, her glasses are knocked off and the landlord gets punched. While showing Xuanying other houses, Renpin reveals Yuze isn't afraid of ghosts, resulting in a fight between the siblings. Renpin and Leia invite family and friends to their housewarming. He overhears Gordon confessing to Leia when he looks for her downstairs.

Leia tries to salvage the marriage while Renpin contemplates divorce. Haojian and Limin persuade Renpin to reconsider. Defu tells an ex-property owner's son that he handed the $200,000 buried in the floor to Jason, the current owner. Defu goes missing before Baoyou can confess to him. Haojian suspects Defu has escaped with the money.

When loan sharks come knocking, everyone suspect Defu of bailing after incurring debts from his failed investments in cryptocurrency. Spurred on by Renpin, Limin celebrates her wedding anniversary with Haojian, only for them to part on bad terms. Haojian, Zixiong and Baoyou fret over helping Defu with his debts when they hear a loud noise from the closet.

Defu denies borrowing money from loan sharks and exposes Jason for embezzling the $200,000. Leia quits her job for Renpin and they reconcile. Jingjing moves in with Mdm. Xiang, who cares for her every need. Limin finds a rental room for Paul while Zhongyi is assigned to follow-up. A sick Xiaomei is hospitalised. While cooking porridge for her, Limin's legs give out on her.

Limin scalds her hand and blames Haojian for not being around in her time of need. Rebuked by the producer for her acting, Baoyou tells Elaine she quits. Renpin invites Leia to a ceramic bracelet making workshop. Leia gets distracted trying to get a limited-edition necklace. Haojian runs into his first love Yurou while performing standup comedy.

Mdm. Xiang's efforts to matchmake her son and Jingjing makes Jingjing uncomfortable. Defu recommends Baoyou to work for My One and Only. On her first day at work, Leia runs into Lucas, who leaves a good impression on her. Grateful for the sacrifices Defu has made for her, Baoyou gathers her courage and confesses to him.

Defu starts avoiding Baoyou. Limin helps Paul with his housing issue. He advises her to see a doctor about the numbness in her legs. Zhongyi and Baoyou bring clients to a unit, but the noisy neighbours scare their clients away. Leia takes Renpin to her company's BBQ gathering. Renpin gets upset when Leia's colleague Cavin wraps his arm around her waist.

Renpin makes breakfast for Leia, but Leia has an appointment with Lucas. Defu turns Bayou down saying he was betrothed to someone as a kid. Defu and Haojian discuss with Elaine about her house's renovation, but Elaine and husband Daniel end up arguing.
