LAP YAN fails in dunning for debt from Mr. TWELVE for he is so tricky that he escapes away. JENNY cleans the room for KA KUEI without informing him and that she throws away his old jeans. After KA KUEI has discovered this, he is so angry that he scolds JENNY. KAI TAI likes FUNGCHUN but does not have chance to date with her alone. KA KUEI wants to help him but FUNG MING takes this opportunity to force KAI TAI to invite them to a dinner. As a result, he invites all of them to have buffet in a cheap restaurant which leads to very displeasing atmosphere. LAP YAN and KA KUEI go to Canton to dun for debt from Mr. TWELVE. KA K0EI encounters the "Blind Adherence" job seekers. He sees MAN JING's eyes being hurt and becomes temporarily blind. So he sends her to the hospital. He takes care of her and in order to let her receive better treatment, he pretends to be the brother of the sponsor of the hospital……

KA MAN dislikes LAP YAN's style as a "strong" man in the family. She criticizes him about this and LAP YAN reviews and decides to change his style. Thereafter, he and WAI YIN love each other more. LAP YAN moves into new flat and invites his colleagues to have a gathering. When all are playing with great fun, CHUN HON faints suddenly. SlU LING sends him to the hospital immediately. The doctor suspects that he is having an incurable disease and suggests that he should receive thorough inspection. KA KUEI goes to Shenzhen to search for MAN JING but she has already gone to reunite with her father JO FAI in Hong Kong. MAN JING knows by chance that KA KUEI is not the brother of KA CHUN and she presumes that he is a liar. This makes her feel very disappointed. FUNG CHUN tells KAI TAI that she does not love him. He once again fails. After inspection, CHUN HON has been proved to have an incurable disease……

LAP YAN has been finally successful in getting back the document from CHUN HON. He is so happy that he thinks this will lead to his promotion to replace CHUN HON's position. KAl TAI and FUNG MlNG meet at an interview for a part-time job. They criticize each other before the employer which finally results in the failure of both. Once, KAI TAI lets FUNG MING to hire the taxi first and this gives her a better impression on him. LAP YAN brings KA KUEl with him to dun for debt from JO FAI. They meet several bad guys who are also searching for JO FAI. But JO FAI has already disappeared and only MAN JING is present. KA KUEI meets her again and rescues her. But she does not realize that KA KUEI is actually the one who sends her to the hospital in Shenzhen. She thinks that he is just a greedy guy and she does have a bad impression on him. The company appoints POON WAI to replace CHUN HON's position……

LAP YAN dislikes the incapability of KA KUEI, he sends KAI TAI to be responsible for dunning for debt from JO FAI instead and TAI accepts this unwillingly. KAI TAI hides himself in JO FAI's old flat and finally discovers the whereabouts of JO FAI and his daughter. When KAI TAI first meets MAN JING, he is attracted by her beauty. LAP YAN intends to use violence to force JO FAI to repay the debt but KAI TAI stops him. Instead, he uses gentle ways to request JO FAI to repay the debt but JO FAI disregards them. Then LAP YAN fights with JO FAI and JO FAI threatens them to jump down. KAI TAI suggests to let JO FAI to repay the debt by instalments and is willing to act as his referee. LAP YAN finally agrees. One debtor forces JO FAI to repay the debt, KAI TAI gives him the money on behalf of FAI. He also finds a flat and jobs for both of them and this makes MAN JING have a better impression on him……

After LAP YAN has awaken, WAI YIN suggests him that he should go to have a medical check in the hospital but is rejected by him. KAI TAI often excuses to have free meal at FAI's home. JO FAI wants to borrow money from TAI to open a massage house and so he creates chances for TAI to get close with MAN JING. KA KUEI meets MAN'JING in the street and he begs her to forgive him immediately. She promises to forgive him and this makes KUEI feel very happy. He then goes to have fun in many places with MAN JING. They have a very enjoyable day. JENNY notices the difference in KUEI's behaviour. She is so suspicious that she goes to investigate. She finally discovers that KA KUEI often gets along with MAN JING. So she goes to find MAN JING immediately. She insults MAN JING in public. MAN JING feels being badly treated and decides not to see KA KUEI anymore. LAP YAN's couple, TAI O and AAACE spend their holiday in Lantau Island……

LAP YAN worries that he has got an incurable disease and so goes to have a medical check. The doctor requests him to receive more detail medical tests. LAP YAN is very worried and he tells his worries to WAI YIN but she comforts her. JENNY excuses to go to KUEI's house so as to reconcile with him. However, KA KUEI does not pay any attention to her and this annoys her. LAP YAN reads the doctor's report in secret and misunderstands that he has got the brain cancer. He feels extremely upset and goes to drink in the pub with KA KUEI. LAP YAN does not want to embroil WAI YlN and intends to commit suicide. But it so happens that he has failed in all kinds of suicide methods. He is still alive and he starts to realize that he should spend a wonderful moment before death. So he goes out to have fun in the nightclub but is seen by KAI TAI. He tells WAI YIN about this but she doesn't believe. WAI YIN gives shelter to Mrs……

LAP YAN meets SIU LING. When he knows that she has borrowed a lot of money after the death of CHUN HON, he is so worried that WAI YIN will have similar occurrence after his death. KAI TAI invites MAN JING to a dinner. They meet MAN JING's colleague AMY. By judging from his appearance, AMY misunderstands that he is the .Uncle of MAN JING and this embarasses him a lot. POON WAI's subordinates dun for debt from SIU LING. She is now helpless. WAI YIN realizes this and lends SIU LING her private property together with a diamond ring. After POON WAI knows this, he scolds his subordinates. He arranges to meet WAI YIN and gives her back the ring. It is seen by LAP.YAN and he presumes that they have unfaithful relationship. He hits POON WAI. But after he realizes the truth, he starts to build up friendship with POON WAI. LAP YAN has very bad mood and he scolds FUNG CHUN for her little mistake. She is so annoyed that she resigns……

LAP YAN gets well-prepared for the issue after his death. He goes to make a testament in the law firm and delegates someone to buy a burial ground for himself. KAI TAI misunderstands that LAP YAN has become rich. As LAP YAN treats others with totaIly different altitude, his relationship with the colleagues becomes more harmonious. POON WAI greatly appraises him about this. Suddenly, LAP YAN has a crazy idea. He intends to make a match of POON WAI and WAI YIN so that WAI YIN will get someone's care after his death. So he invites POON WAI to a dinner at home. JO FAI asks KAI TAI to lend him money to open a clinic again. KAI TAI wants to take this opportunity to get FAI's approval of the marriage of him with MAN JING. But later, he wants to use his true love to impress MAN JING and so he pursues her bravely. MAN JING knows KAI TAI's love for her but she cares about their large 'age gap……

KAI TAI invites KA KUEI to be his best man and he consents. JENNY takes this opportunity to ask KA KUEI to marry her. But he is so annoyed that he loses his temper before her. MAN JING loses confidence about her marriage with KAI TAI but JO FAI relieves her. In addition, KAI TAI concerns her very much and this makes her make up her mind to arrange for the marriage finally. KA KUEI originally intends to go to tell MAN JING that he is actually the one who has saved her life in Shenzhen. But after thorough thinking, he realizes ~he situation cannot be changed and also he does not want to ruin MAN JING's happiness, he abandons this idea. FUNG CHUN has accidentaIly made a mistake in manipulatingan an important document which 1eads to huge loss of the company. The' company requests FUNG CHUN to be responsible for the case but LAP YAN substitutes for her. FUNGCHUN feels so impressed. LAP YAN's right hand loses control gradually……

KA KUEl feels heartbreaking when he sees the happy newly married couple. He consents to go to Canada with JENNY and she is very happy. LAP YAN has been drunk. FUNG CHUN sends him back home. On the way, she meets her old boyfriend WAI LUNG. WAI LUNG does not let her go but LAP YAN hits him away. In fact, FUNG CHUN has already fallen in love with LAP YAN but does not dare to let anybody know. WAI LUNG forces FUNG CHUN to maintain their relationship, otherwise he won't pay back the loan from Lee Tung Co. where she is the referee. FUNG CHUN doesn't consent. Whereas, LAP YAN goes to negotiate with WAI LUNG on behalf of FUNG CHUN. Both arrange to meet in a restaturant for negotiation. When LAP YAN and WAI LUNG are negotiating, two gangs of triad society members are fighting. LAP YAN is hurt due to rescuing WAI LUNG. This results in their reconciliation finally……

KAl TAI finds LAP YAN and FUNG CHUN having a dinner. So he informs WAI YlN immediately. After she has seen them together, she goes away immediately. When LAP YAN is back, she requests him to explain. LAP YAN pretends to lose his temper but WAI YIN tolerates him. LAP YAN accepts FUNG CHUN's suggestion to record the truth in a video tape so that WAI YIN will understand his agony after his death. In confusion, SHING hides the video tape. WAI YIN has just watched the video tape that is mailed in by YAN's mother, LAP YAN misunderstands that she has already watched his video tape. As he observes no reaction from her, he leaves the family with anger. LAP YAN is now homeless. FUNG CHUN lets him to live in her house temporarily and she tells the story to FUNG MING and her parents. They aIl feel very sympathetic to him. KA KUEI and JENNY go for window shopping, they meet KAI TAI's couple in a piano store……

FUNG CHUN wants to observe WAI YIN's reaction and so she attends the meeting pretending to be another person with a different strange look but is still recognized by her. FUNG CHUN goes away embarrassingly. YAN's mother is back to Hong Kong and goes to visit LAP.YAN's couple. She observes some problems in their relationship and asks KAI TAI about this. He tells her the whole story. Then VAN's mother goes to find FUNG CHUN for negotiation and breaks into quarrels with CHUN's parents. VAN's mother intends to find FUNG CHUN in Lee Tung Co. She meets FUNG MING and is told that LAP YAN has got an incurable disease but she doesn't believe this. In SHING's birthday party, VAN's mother intends to take ~his opportunity to persuade YAN to change his mind but he insists the divorce. KAI TAI hits LAP YAN hardly. YAN finally tells him the truth and TAI feels very sorry about this. KA KUEI decides to go to Canada with JENNY……

YAN's mother goes to Lee Tung and sticks up some posters which aims to insult FUNG CHUN as wanton woman. FUNG CHUN feels very angry about this. YAN's mother takes a further step and excuses to borrow loan in Lee Tung. She wants to take this chance to embarrass FUNG CHUN. LAP YAN wants to stop this but in vain. FUNG CHUN feels being mistreated. LAP YAN does not want her to be troubled anymore and suggests her to change her job. She accepts this and goes to work in a beauty saloon. However, YAN's mother goes to have beauty treatment in the beauty saloon and meets FUNG CHUN. Both break into quarrel again. JO FAI and LAW's couple cooperate in the production of karaoke tape for transportation to China. He persuades KAl TAI to lend him money and arranges MAN JING to be the singer. But due to faulty arrangement, the tape cannot be sold to China. LAW's couple request JO FAI to compensate for the loss but he escapes away……

In order to get enough money, MAN JING asks KA KUEI to lend her money without letting KAI TAI know. KA KUEI lends her money without asking the reason. She feels very regretful. KAI TAI finds some strange behaviour of MAN JING and worries that she will go away taking all of his money some days. So he requests KA KUEl to help him to pay attention to her. MAN JING goes to give the money to LAW SUN. He wants to rape her. Luckily TAI and KUEI arrive in time and save her. They then inform the police to arrest LAW SUN. JO FAI appears suddenly and returns a cheque of a hundred and twenty thousands dollars to KAI TAI. KAI TAI complains JO FAI about this. Lee Tung's proprietor has held a party to invite all staff and their relatives to attend. LAP YAN brings WAI YIN and their son SHlNG to attend. In the party, LAP YAN maintains close relationship with FUNG CHUN. WAI YlN feels so unhappy that she drinks a lot……

LAP YAN has finally divorced with WAI YIN. Feeling regret for FUNG CHUN's assistance, he helps her to open a beauty saloon with monetary support as compensation. On the other hand, WAI YIN has to live another life. With the encouragement of YAN's mother and POON WAI, she assists POON's friend PHILIP in the promotion work of a "health food" exhibition. As KAI TAI is afraid of MAN JlNG being enticed, he has often restricted her freedom. This bores her a lot. WAI YlN intends to invite JING to be her assistant but is objected by TAI. However, JING can tolerate no more and she decides to work with WAI YlN without informing TAI. Being very successful in promotion work, YAN's mother decides to cooperate with YIN and JlNG to open a promotion firm……

WAI YIN is very disappointed for having no business in their promotion firm. As POON WAI realizes., he tells LAP YAN about this and YAN then tries hard to explore the business for them. As a result, WAI YIN has got several projects. However, she appreciates POON WAI a lot for misunderstanding that this is due to his help. After KAl TAI has discovered that MAN JING operates the business with WAI YlN in secret, he becomes very angry and forces her to withdraw from the business but is being refused by her. Having been drunk, TAI scolds her. She then goes away with anger and spends the night in YIN's house. KAl TAI has finally yielded a step and promised to let JlNG to continue her business and also let her try to be the sales of some domestic products. As the sales job is not suitable for her, JING has finally discontinued the job. Once her male classmate in China visits her, KAI TAI is jealous and loses his temper again……

KAI TAI expresses his true love for MAN JING. But JING has been so determined that he finally agrees to divorce with her: As HENRY appreciates WAI YIN's capability, he decides to delegate her to be responsible for the promotion project of Lee Tung. On the other hand, as HENRY cannot tolerate LAP VAN's poor job performance, he dismisses YAN. WAI YIN feels sympathetic for LAP VAN's situation. SHING has finally given back the video tape of LAP YAN to WAI YIN. After watching the video, VAN's mother and WAI YIN have understood VAN's agony. WAI YIN goes to find LAP YAN in CHUN's house immediately. However, he has already gone away with a letter left. They search around for him. Suddenly, WAI YIN faints and is sent to the hospital immediately. LAP YAN hides himself in a remote village. Once he meets a villager Uncle HEI, HEI pities him and gives him great help. Being tired of dunning for debt, KA KUEI resigns and works as a police……

As KAI TAI and FUNG MING have more chances to know each other, there is fast progress in their relationship as their character resembles each other. FAI has got a partner who has influence in China. He operates a business in Hong Kong and delegates MAN JING to do promotion for his firm arrogantly. . As POON WAI is going to emigrate to Canada, he expresses his love for WAI YIN. However, she frankly tells him that she only treats him as good friends. This greatly disappoints him. As Uncle HEI is going to move to Kowloon, he advises LAP YAN to make use of the limited time to reunite with his family but LAP YAN hesitates. KAI TAI and FUNG MING are both involved in a business swindle. They are finally proved to be innocent. They start to realize that money is not most important and they understand each other more deeply. Once a prisoner wants to see the last face of his dying wife, he escapes form the prison……

WAI YIN hopes that LAP YAN will request her to stay but he gives her blessing hard-heartedly instead. She is very disappointed. VAN's mother wants WAI YIN to stay behind to take care of YAN until his death. She makes a plot to speak ill of POON WAI for having another woman, WAI YIN believes this. However LAP YAN has discovered this, he breaks the rumour for POON WAI. WAI YIN feels very dissatisfied. After KAI TAI and FUNG MING have cooperated in running their business, they have more love for each other. KAI TAI requests FUNG MING to marry him and she agrees. After KA KUEI knows that KAI TAI remarries, he rouses his courage intending to express his love for MAN JING. But when he finds JING being so capable in her job, he feels so self-abased that he gives up. As JO FAI has some conflict with his business partner, he has seized ten million dollars alone greedily. His business partner has caught MAN JING as hostage……
