A hotel by the coast in Northern Portugal. It is morning, and the family that manages it starts their day. Unexpectedly, the matriarch, Sara, arrives with her granddaughter, Salomé, whose father has just died. Her arrival exposes the bitterness and regret from the life choices made by the various women in the family, and worsens the relationship between the grandmother and Salomé's mother, Piedade. The first guests arrive - photographer Jaime and influencer Camila - a couple going through a crisis, amid the insinuations of a close friend and the meddling of Jaime's mother.

The young actress Júlia is surprised by her girlfriend Alice, who sent a video of her to a casting call. Judite, Júlia's mother, sees her weekend and life plans threatened by the ulterior motives of her daughter's seductive girlfriend. Salomé questions her mother, Piedade, about her absence and abandonment. The couple Alexandre and Graça, along with the newly widowed mother-in-law, Elisa, arrive at the hotel in the aftermath of Graça's father's death.
