Malcolm's undertaking of apprenticeship will require the support of paranormal powers, which, as they are, are out of control.

Malcolm is sold into apprenticeship slavery to the company of the Chairman and Korytka for debts that are not his own. On his very first day on the job, he is forced to make moral compromises, although Stomil doesn't join him until a day later.

While trying to take over a house in Zoliborz, the heroes are forced to confront the filthy legacy of its owner, director Bogusiak.

Malcolm and Stomil go all the way to Antwerp in search of a pre-war owner of attractive land. Paradoxically, they are not helped by the fact that almost everyone in the city knows him.

The heroes bring the Rojzmans to their ancestral homeland, where the Chairman and Korytko intend to help them right the wrongs of history and do the business of a lifetime in the process. However, for this they will need the help of Remik, once one of the richest Poles, now one of the most wanted debtors.

The Palace of Culture and Science is to be the venue for a big deal to sell Poland to the Jews - or vice versa. However, the heroes are being trampled by Remik's creditors.

In the hour of trial, Counselor Korytko faces the greatest dilemma of his shabby life.
