During Betty's first buyers' parade, she makes a mess when she tries to help Armando when he gives her a color chart he's requested, Betty gets in the way of the parade and falls off the stage.

Armando reiterates to Betty that the personal planner cannot be given to anyone. Marcela arrives at the office to complain about him leaving Patricia out of his personal affairs. While they argue about fidelity, Karina Larson, one of the models with whom he had a relationship, arrives. Betty tries to get her out of the company.

Betty tries to hide Karina's presence in Ecomoda, she makes Armando take her, but Patricia has seen her and goes and tells Marcela. They try to take Betty's agenda while Armando has left taking Karina.

Marcela asks Betty to hand over the position to Patricia, especially the diary. Armando arrives and tears up the letter and argues with Marcela. He thanks Betty for what she did and tells her that she no longer needs a probationary period because the probationary period will expire in one of these days. Mario tries to convince Armando not to get married, creating a computer program for him to find the ideal woman.

Marcela sues Armando about his womanizing past, eventually seducing him and forgiving him, promising not to interfere in his company affairs again. Román calls Betty to confirm his invitation to go out. After a discussion with his father, he gets permission. Betty waits to be picked up even though more than an hour has passed.

Betty cries inconsolably because they did it to her again, leaving her stuck. Nicolás, furious, complains to Román, who punches him. Hermes, Betty's father, arrives to complain about Román's trick on Betty, and they end up punching him.

Betty secretly prepares a project to surprise Armando and stand out at the meeting. Patricia overhears this conversation where Betty tells her mother this. Patricia is plotting something. Armando sits down with Betty to file the agenda.

Betty confronts Román and humiliates him. Patricia, assisted by Marcela, asks Betty for the reports, and Patricia hands them over as if they were hers, for which she is congratulated. Armando and Marcela doubt the need to have Betty if Patricia is capable of such an efficient job. At the headquarters, they invite Betty to lunch and tell her the company gossip.

The ugly women tell Betty the story of Ecomoda, its characters, family gossip, and Armando and Daniel's rivalries. Daniel asks the board to carefully review Armando's proposal, considering it impossible to fulfill.

At the end of the meeting, they congratulate Patricia on the report. Betty confronts her, but Marcela intervenes and convinces Betty not to tell Armando that the report was hers. The Ecomoda employees give Roberto a farewell serenade.

Armando asks Betty and Patricia to help him prepare the business plan, but Betty cleverly tells him that since Patricia wrote the report, he should do the project. She furiously agrees and asks Mario for help. Betty, in turn, asks Nicolás for help with the report.

Betty and Nicolás work on the project all night. Mario and Patricia prepare dinner and talk about love. When Patricia tries to get him to work, Mario seduces her, and they wake up in bed.

Betty spends all night doing Armando's work, but finds Armando furious because she's late. Patricia and Mario arrive late and without work. Betty doesn't get a chance to hand in the work to Armando. Hermes arrives at Ecomoda to talk to Armando.

Betty, terrified, tries to stop Hermes from fighting with Armando; meanwhile, Armando, furious, admits to Marcela that Betty is of no use to him and that he's going to fire her. Armando fires Betty without giving her the chance to hand over the work she did for him.

As they say goodbye, Betty hands him the report, and he, surprised and fascinated, hugs Betty and sits down with Mario to review it. Patricia tells Marcela about the wonderful night she spent with Mario and the possibilities she has of getting married.

Marcela and Patricia are deeply frustrated to learn that Betty wasn't fired, but that she actually created the business plan that Armando and Mario are very happy with. Mario tries to avoid Patricia.

Daniel warns Olarte that from now on he has to take care of Betty and any move she makes.

Betty becomes convinced that Armando is the love of her life after Mariana reads her letters. Armando announces to everyone that Betty will take over the financial management, taking over from Olarte. Patricia seeks an alliance with Olarte to fight Betty.

Patricia, to make Mario jealous, has Marcela set her up with his brother Daniel Valencia, which ends up being a failure due to Daniel's disdain for her. Aura María invites Betty to go out with some friends.

Betty goes out with Aura María and her friends to a nightclub, where both Betty and Aura María's friend are bored, as the man is disappointed that Betty isn't the woman he expected. Betty is terrified by Aura María's behavior with her friend.

Betty lies to her parents. Julia, her mother, is happy, convinced that Betty has met someone. Armando delegates responsibility for managing relations with the bank to Betty, overruling Olarte.

Armando thanks Betty for everything she's done for him, and she takes it as a declaration of love. A few months pass. Betty interrupts a racetrack at the club to get Armando to sign a promissory note for the disbursement of a loan. Marcela is shocked to see that Armando doesn't scold her but instead congratulates her for what she did.

Despite Marcela's fury, Armando asks Betty to stay and join them for lunch with the executives of RAG-TELA, a textile company, and once again Betty saves the business. Armando appoints her Assistant to the President. Betty cries with emotion.

Betty tells her friends that Armando named her presidential assistant, and they go to the bathroom to celebrate, but are interrupted by Patricia, who attacks them. They defend themselves, and Patricia tells Marcela. Marcela goes in to tell Armando what happened.

Marcela calls the headquarters and Gutiérrez, the chief of staff, together to inform them that they will be reprimanded and their salaries docked for assault. Armando, having heard Betty's version of events, interrupts the meeting and accuses Patricia, also announcing Betty's appointment as assistant to the president. Betty alarms Armando with the report.

Armando, in light of the situation and Betty's assessment of the goals set for Armando's project, asks Betty to tweak the data to present at the meeting. Daniel shows up at Ecomoda and asks Olarte to try to review the report before the meeting.

Mario seduces Patricia and convinces her to go out with him that night. Armando arrives an hour late at the house where his parents have just arrived from London; Marcela doesn't speak to him. Betty works on the report with Nicolás and tells her parents they're going to raise her salary. Olarte goes into Betty's office and turns on the computer.

Olarte can't access Betty's computer. Betty and Nicolás work all night on the report. Olarte and Patricia plan to distract Betty so she can't finish her work for the meeting.

Patricia manages to lock Betty's computer. Armando tells the board they have to wait for the computer to be fixed. The technician asks Betty for the password so he can access the information.

The technician accuses Betty in front of the board of having damaged the computer; she gives the technician the keys to extract the information. Betty's friends help her, and Aura María calls a friend who is a computer specialist and tells Betty that the damage can be fixed in an hour.

Betty tells Armando that the computer problem has a quick fix. He confronts the technician, who promises to deliver it in 15 minutes. The ugly women keep an eye on him. Finally, Armando announces that the report is ready and the meeting doesn't need to be postponed.

Betty presents the report to the board, while the headquarters distracts the technician and they find the report from the files he is taking from Olarte.

The ugly group gives Betty the copies of the files the technician hid, and she in turn gives them to Armando. He interrogates her and she confesses what happened, but only names Olarte as the sole culprit, saving Patricia. Armando interrogates Olarte.

Orlando removes Olarte from Ecomoda, but he doesn't betray Daniel or Patricia. Armando gathers the family together, informs them of the dismissals and the reasons for their dismissal, and in the process reassures Betty. The ugly women suspect Patricia, just as Armando and Mario do.

Hermes is told that the company he works for is going bankrupt and they're going to lay off all the employees. Miguel calls Betty to reconfirm the appointment. Armando goes with Betty to the banks to register the signature.

Betty asks Armando for a job for Nicolás. Armando tells Hugo and Marcela that when he goes on his trip, Betty will remain in charge of the company.

Despite having rejected Miguel's offer, Betty recommends that Armando buy supplies from them, as their prices are the most favorable. Daniel visits Patricia to obtain information about the company.

Daniel asks Olarte to help him investigate whether the fabric dealers offered Betty commissions. Nicolás advises Betty to accept Miguel's offer. Mario goes out with Aura Maria.

Olarte confirms Daniel's suspicions about RAG-TELA. Armando, Mario, and Betty leave for RAG-TELA to sign the contract.

Armando and Mario sign the contract with RAG-TELA. Miguel calls Betty to ask how she wants their commission paid. Olarte calls Miguel, who tells him everything went very well with Betty. Daniel records this conversation.

Betty goes out to lunch with her friends and imagines what she would do with the commission she was offered at RAG-TELA. Marcela is at the club with Hugo Lombardi and Patricia when she receives a call from her brother Daniel. Betty dreams about what Armando would say if she had a lot of money.

Armando explains to Betty (hiding the truth a bit) the conditions and reasons why he needs to create this company. She accepts and also tells him to use Olarte's office, but she asks him not to separate her from him. Betty tells Nicolás, and he, very happy, asks if he can do interventions.

Betty suggests that Nicolás work for the new company and present a new investment plan. Several days later, they register the company. Armando and Mario plan to replace Hugo's designs from the collection launch with the same designs but using RAG-TELA fabrics, without Hugo noticing.

Betty and Nicolás make the deposit for the new venture. Hugo puts the finishing touches on the choreography for the fashion show.

Betty tells Nicolás that she has authorization from Armando to move the money however they want.

Marcela manages to convince Hugo to do the fashion show with RAG-TELA fabrics. The show goes ahead, but the visiting European designer tells Catalina that the collection's designs are good but the materials are not, and that he believes the collection won't work.

When the parade ends, the singer Anasol begins her performance. Marcela tries to get Armando to apologize to Hugo, but he refuses. Hugo resigns and leaves Ecomoda. Don Roberto warns Armando that with those materials, the situation could become very difficult. Catalina asks Armando to look for Hugo because he could publicly discredit him.

Armando goes to a bar to find Hugo. Betty and the barracks go to a nightclub. Nicolás is at another nightclub with Román and his friends. Hugo arrives at the bar and sees Armando.

The ugly girls get drunk, and Sofía catches her ex-husband with the promoter, who makes a scene. Roman and his friends trick Nicolás, who's supposedly making out with Román and making him pay the entire bill. Armando convinces Hugo, who proposes a bet that if he loses, he'll have to dress up as a drag queen.

The entire headquarters gets drunk except for Inesita, who calls Fredy for help with everything, and he takes Betty out, carrying her. Don Hermes picks Betty up at the nightclub. Armando asks Betty to call the executives to let them know she's taking over Ecomoda.

Mario invites Aura María to lunch before the trip. Armando, Marcela, and Mario leave for Miami, where Betty takes over and has her first confrontation with Patricia when she becomes her boss. Armando calls Betty a few days later, and she asks him to come to Colombia because things aren't going well.

Upon receiving the sales reports, Betty asks Patricia to reconfirm her return for the next day. Betty doesn't approve Hugo's hiring of models for sizing, and they rebel against her. When Armando arrives and finds the situation so dire, he asks Betty for a loan from her company for Ecomoda.

Nicolás brings Betty the checkbook and the company stamp for the loan. Mario snubs Aura María, and she tries to get revenge. Armando and Mario write the check for 100 million pesos for Betty to sign.

Armando and Mario convince Betty that nothing will happen to the loan, but that it's just a precautionary measure, and she signs the check. Aura María sneaks into Mario's office, and as they're kissing, Patricia walks in and finds them; a scandal breaks out, and Mario kicks Aura María out. Daniel also asks Patricia that if she's not going to be his informant, then she should leave Ecomoda.

Armando authorizes Hugo to sizing two of the three models and orders him to find one with a newspaper ad. Betty intercedes with Armando on Aura María's behalf, and he orders Gutiérrez to reinstate her, but he blackmails her and invites her out that night to negotiate her reinstatement.

Fredy, upon learning that Aura María isn't going to be fired, tries to locate her to warn her against Gutiérrez and asks Bertha, Gutiérrez's secretary, for her cell phone and home phone numbers. Armando receives a model at the office and asks Betty to be discreet. She stays locked in the office all night. Gutiérrez's wife arrives at the nightclub and angrily throws him out.

Fredy arrives at the nightclub and leaves the watch as collateral for the bill Gutiérrez left unpaid. Patricia apologizes to Daniel and accepts his terms. Armando, regretting leaving Betty locked up all night, gives her the day off.

Gutiérrez arrives at Ecomoda, battered, scratched, and furious, and demands Bertha and Fredy's resignation. The headquarters asks Armando for help, and he confronts Gutiérrez. Mario presents a new sales strategy to save the company.

Realizing the economic catastrophe of the sales report, Armando proposes to Betty that her company seize Ecomoda, and despite Betty's arguments against it, Armando ends up convincing her. Marcela arrives from Miami and, upon realizing the situation, becomes furious with Betty; Armando defends her.

Armando and Mario ask Hugo for a new collection, and he agrees, but only if it's made with top-quality materials. He also reminds Armando of the promise he has made to dress as a drag queen. At Hugo's casting call for a size model, Sofía's husband's mistress arrives. She creates a scene, but Hugo hires her.

Hugo deliberately hires the promoter, despite the pleas of Sofía and Armando, whom she has asked for the favor. Betty gives Armando the pledge as collateral for the seizure of Ecomoda.

Marcela complains to Aura María about the scandal with Mario. Armando asks Betty to be very discreet about the transaction and to ensure that no one finds out. Sofía continues insulting the sponsor, and she, in turn, mocks her.

Mario suggests to Armando that they purchase materials from a company that ships them from Panama. Betty is very concerned about the possibility of the Panamanian supplier being contacted. The promoter accepts Fredy's invitation to go out.

Mario presents the Panamanian intermediary's quote to Armando and Betty, who is suspicious. But Armando gets excited and asks Mario to travel to Panama without anyone knowing. Fredy arranges to meet the promoter at lunchtime.

Hugo reminds Armando that the drag queen party is that night. Fredy changes restaurants at the suggestion of Yenny, the promoter, and the ugly group loses their money and the trap because Efrain arrives at the restaurant and finds no one there. Sofía keeps Yenny's paycheck, and she goes to complain to Gutiérrez.

Armando fulfills the bet and when he wants to leave he finds himself surrounded by several cars and has to go out and get a taxi dressed as a Drag-Queen, while Marcela waits for him accompanied by Daniel, Maria Beatriz and the model she has to hire that same night, Armando desperately asks Betty to pick him up in a taxi.

Betty picks up Armando, and since he can't get into Ecomoda because of his clothes, Betty takes him home, and Julia and I try to help him. Hermes gets up, and they hide Armando, but his cell phone rings.

Betty and Julia manage to distract Hermes, and Armando is able to leave for home. Patricia tells Daniel that Mario has gone to import fabrics. Armando and Marcela hire Patricia Vásquez.

Armando travels to Panama. Bertha wears the same dress she bought at Ecomoda as Patricia's, which enrages her, while Hugo and Marcela laugh. Fredy crashes Armando's car while flirting with the driver.

Patricia, on Daniel's orders, begins to spy on Betty to find the names of suppliers in New York, and Betty discovers them. Betty tries to locate Armando to inform him about what's going on.

Betty tells Armando what happened with Patricia, and he calls to complain to Marcela. Seeing what's happening, he decides to travel that same day while Fredy tries to sort out the car issue as soon as possible. When Armando arrives, Fredy can't bring himself to tell him about the accident.

Armando doesn't realize the car crash because he's so angry with Patricia, she evades responsibility by feigning illness. Armando believes the car was crashed in the apartment's garage, but Fredy is saved.

The Dian (National Police) captures the truck drivers. Charlie Zaa arrives, and the barracks are in turmoil. Armando is shocked to realize they've been tricked, that the middleman has disappeared, and that they can't recover the fabrics.

Unable to resolve the smuggling problem with the Dian, Armando asks Betty to have Terramoda seize Ecomoda's assets. Armando calls a meeting with Marcela and Hugo to inform them of what happened.

Armando gives Marcela a concise version of the supplier's deception in New York. Hermes offers to take Armando and Betty to the notary for the seizure. Patricia calls Armando to inform him.

Don Hermes ends up complaining about Armando's mistreatment of Betty, and Betty, repentant, tries to hide it. Mario tries to get Patricia to talk about the pregnancy. Marcela asks Armando, on behalf of Daniel and herself, to call Roberto and tell him what's happening.

Patricia begins manipulating everyone about her pregnancy. Roberto tells Armando he's coming to the launch of the collection, which worries him and Mario. Catalina Ángel rejects Armando's call.

Daniel is convinced that the child Patricia is expecting is his. Daniel asks Patricia to leave the country since he's found her a job in New York.

Mario tries to convince Patricia not to keep the baby, but she plays the victim, leaving Mario worried. Armando negotiates the fabrics with Claudia Helena Vásquez. Bertha's husband brings Ecomoda 5 million pesos for her to buy a car.

Bertha discusses the pros and cons of liposuction or the car with the police. Armando and Mario go find Catalina to help them with the collection.

Armando and Mario convince Catalina to work with them. Claudia Helena and her partner accept the credit terms and make the deal.

Betty secures the loan in her company's name, and Armando asks her to continue the embargo process against Ecomoda. The promoter begs Hugo to let her walk the runway, but he refuses. Bertha appears at Ecomoda after her liposuction.

Marcela tells Armando that her parents will arrive the next day. Armando, worried about the creditors, sends Betty to find a lawyer to enforce the embargo. Mario and Betty negotiate with the lawyer.

The promoter goes out with Fredy to ask him to help her get permission to parade. Betty arranges with the lawyers to secure the embargo so that it will be preventive.

The ugly women discover Patricia exercising at a gym and suspect she's pregnant. The lawyer and Nicolás file a claim for seizure.

Armando manages to avoid the meeting Roberto requests. Bertha calls the lab, pretending to be Patricia, to request a pregnancy test.

Margarita and Roberto arrive at Ecomoda for the meeting, at the same time as Dr. Sanchez and the notary official arrive to take the inventory at Ecomoda for the seizure.

Armando tells Roberto and Daniel that the men they saw at the company are from the insurance company that will insure Ecomoda. Roberto is satisfied with the balance sheet Betty presented. The lawyers continue taking stock.

Hugo shows the new collection to Roberto and Margarita. Claudia, one of the models, flirts with Armando in person, which Marcela notices. Armando signs the seizure order. Claudia goes into Armando's office and kisses him, which he responds to.

Betty manages to enter Armando's office and hide Claudia when Marcela comes in and searches for her everywhere. Armando questions Betty about Nicolás after overhearing a phone conversation. Betty tells them he knows about him because he works with Terramoda.

Marcela furiously asks Armando to kick Claudia out, but he refuses because she's the main model for the fashion show launch the next day, so Marcela asks him to kick Betty out. Armando suspects that Nicolás is Betty's boyfriend.

Armando asks Betty if she has a boyfriend, but she denies it. Marcela tells Patricia she's going to decapitate Betty. Patricia confronts the barracks, and Marcela intervenes, attacking Betty. Armando asks Bertha if Betty has a boyfriend.

Bertha tells Armando what Mariana said to Betty in the letters, and he becomes even more concerned. Bertha calls the lab and is told the tests will be sent today with the pregnancy tests.

The envelope with Patricia's exams arrives, and Gutiérrez takes it without Bertha having a chance to look at it. Claudia, the model, is getting drunk while preparing for the fashion show. Mario suggests to Armando that they have to win Betty's heart to get Nicolás out of the company.

Claudia gets drunk and Armando fires her. Bertha gets Patricia's tests back and they discover, from the results, that her pregnancy is false. She decides to go to the hotel to tell Mario. Armando calls Jenny to replace Claudia.

Mario and Daniel, each on their own, try to negotiate with Patricia to take responsibility for the son without compromising themselves. The ugly women arrive at the hotel, but the doorman prevents them from entering. Fredy arrives with Jenny, surprising the headquarters.

To the ugly girls' surprise, Mario tells Armando to bring Betty and her friends in. The promoter, confused by Sofía, who writes insults in a letter, trips on the catwalk, and Hugo pulls her out.

The parade ends with great success. The ugly women wait for Mario to break the news about Patricia's exam, but when she finds out, she complains to Bertha and threatens to report her for asking for the exam. Patricia has to tell Mario and Daniel that she's not pregnant. Nicolás and Hermes arrive at the hotel to pick up Betty.

When Fredy goes out with the promoter, Aura Maria seduces him, and he dumps Jenny. Armando becomes even more concerned when he realizes that Nicolás Mora has a business card as the manager of Terramoda.

Freddy and Aura Maria go out partying all night. Armando and Betty dream of romance. Daniel demands Betty's resignation.

Mario is about to convince Armando to fall in love with Betty. Daniel calls Patricia to tell her he's leaving at 5 p.m. and that he's waiting for his resignation letter. Patricia is writing a letter denouncing Daniel and his sexual harassment. He freaks out and asks her to stay.

Patricia keeps the resignation letter to protect herself from Daniel. The ugly women's headquarters go to lunch to read the letters. Mario tells Armando that the seduction of Betty must begin that night.

Mariana reads Betty's letters and tells her that all her dreams are coming true. Bertha tells Armando that the letters tell Betty that her romance with Nicolás will come true. Mario and he plan the evening.

Nicolás meets with Dr. Sanchez. Betty and Armando go to a cheap cafe, and Armando gets drunk. Mario leaves, leaving them alone.

Armando asks Betty to dance a bolero and tries to seduce her. Armando, who has continued drinking, tells Betty he's fascinated by her and kisses her. Frightened, she runs away.

Armando, very upset and remorseful, is convinced by Mario to confirm to Betty what happened the night before, and Mario promises that he will do it that night.

Sofía damages the promoter's cell phone. Armando feels guilty about what happened with Betty and doesn't talk about it. Patricia and Marcela make fun of Betty, and she overhears them.

Gutiérrez asks Sofía to resign because of the fight with the sponsor, and the headquarters, at Mariana's suggestion, tells him that if they fire Sofía, they'll fire them all. Marcela gives Sofía a lawyer's card so she can sue Efraín. Armando tells Betty he'll take her home.

Mario runs away from Patricia and goes out with one of the models. Armando takes Betty home and tells her of his love for her; they kiss passionately.

Armando kisses Betty again and tells her about a relationship, but also warns her that no one can know, not even those at the barracks.

Patricia runs out of gas and causes a scene because she hasn't been paid. Armando asks Betty for a loan in dollars to send to his parents in London.

The headquarters, to annoy Patricia, tells her that Betty doesn't have financial worries because she has a rich boyfriend. She tells Hugo, Marcela, and Armando. Armando gets furious with Betty. Betty asks the police station not to bother her about Nicolás anymore.

Armando complains to Betty about his rich boyfriend, but she reiterates that she wasn't the one who said it. Mario brings Armando a whole paraphernalia of cute little things for love, like cards, chocolates, etc., for him to give to Betty.

They get in their car, and Patricia farts on Román. Eventually, the police take them all away. Armando and Betty arrive at a nightclub.

Betty presents the board with the actual balance sheet, along with the letters, and reveals the truth behind Ecomoda. Daniel and Armando confront each other, and Marcela cries. Armando tells them the entire process of setting up Terramoda. Daniel and Marcela panic when they learn that Betty is the owner of Ecomoda.

Betty resigns and returns the company and the car to them. Roberto asks Armando to resign, and he does so, but rejects Daniel's proposal to liquidate the company. Armando goes to look for Betty, and as he is embracing her, Marcela arrives.

Marcela sends Armando back to the conference room. Betty says goodbye to her friends, and Marcela forces her to show her Armando's cards, which she's carrying in her purse. Marcela reads several of them and Mario's letter of instruction.

Roberto tells Armando he never wants to see him again. Catalina calls Betty and tells her she's waiting for her at the airport. Armando calls Betty, but she refuses. Armando decides to go look for Betty.

Betty goes out with Michel for a walk in Cartagena and says goodbye to the sea. Armando asks Marcela for forgiveness. Armando goes to Betty's house and tells Hermes that Betty stole his company.

Catalina takes Betty to the Rosario Islands to perform a forgiveness ceremony for Armando before returning to Bogotá. Roberto arrives at Ecomoda accompanied by the lawyers.

Roberto and Hermes talk and reach an agreement on very good terms.

Roberto informs the board that Betty has no intention of stealing the company and that he'll arrive that afternoon to sort things out. Betty's lawyers appear at the board meeting and schedule a meeting with Betty for the following day.

Hermes, after being surprised by Betty's change, scolds her and demands that she put a face to Ecomoda. Attorney Santamaría presents the board with a possible solution to save Ecomoda, where everyone must sell their assets. Everyone protests.

Attorney Santamaría advises everyone to stay with Betty to save the company, and they finally agree. Betty discovers that her mother read the diary. The board must decide who will speak with Betty about the new terms.

Roberto decides to be the one to talk to Betty. Betty complains to Julia about reading the diary. Santamaría cancels the appointment with Betty and the lawyers at her office. Roberto calls Betty.

Betty agrees to go speak with Roberto in front of the meeting at Ecomoda. Betty meets up with Catalina and they go to an optician's, where she makes her change her glasses. Betty arrives at Ecomoda.

Betty enters Ecomoda, and everyone is shocked: the headquarters, Patricia, and Marcela. Bertha returns to her job and goes with her baby. Roberto asks Betty not to hand over the company to him and to run it until everything is resolved.

Roberto asks everyone to analyze the situation with Betty, and she calls her lawyers. Armando and everyone else are surprised by the change. The lawyers tell the board that Betty must remain in charge of Ecomoda.

Betty faces Daniel and Marcela's aggression, but lawyer Santamaría convinces them that Betty should manage the company. Roberto asks Betty to accept.

Betty demands that Marcela not leave Ecomoda and that Nicolás Mora be hired as a condition for accepting the presidency. Hugo arrives at Ecomoda and Patricia tells him they're waiting for him in the boardroom.

Hugo enters the boardroom and is terrified when he sees Betty, but upon learning of his appointment as president, he wants to resign. Roberto calms everyone down and introduces Hermes as the company's new accountant. Armando and Mario hand over the position to Betty. Gutiérrez announces Betty's appointment to the employees.

Patricia causes a scene at the board meeting over Betty's appointment. Betty goes in to talk to Marcela, but she remains as cold as ever. Betty tells her she wants nothing to do with Armando. Hugo tells Jenny she's rehired, right in front of Betty and the headquarters.

Betty rehires Jenny. The headquarters invites Betty to a nightclub to celebrate, and Armando overhears and tells Freddy they should go have a drink. Margarita, Marcela, and Patricia go to dinner. Betty calls Nicolás and tells him she's appointing him Financial Vice President.

The barracks try to get Betty to tell Ecomoda's secret, but she refuses. Armando and Freddy have a drink at a bar, and Armando asks Freddy to find out the address of the nightclub where the barracks is located.

Freddy enters the club and sees Aura Maria dancing with a man. Armando enters the club and asks Betty to talk, but she tries to leave. However, she feels pressured, and they talk. He tells her he loves her.

Despite Armando's pleas, Betty rejects him and leaves, telling him she doesn't believe him. Marcela is worried about Armando's attitude. Hermes, Betty, and Nicolás leave for the court date with the lawyers and Armando.

Patricia has to take the bus to Ecomoda. Betty and Armando face off in court, but they're trying to reach a compromise.

Armando asks Betty to let him use an office at Ecomoda to work on the recovery project.

Hermes prefers to keep Betty's old office. Armando tells Mario he's lost hope in Betty. Betty meets Marcela alone before the committee meeting, and they argue over being evicted from the barracks.

Betty decides to reprimand and punish the barracks and Patricia, but not to fire them. Betty calls a committee that includes Mario and Armando.

Armando and Mario propose selling the Ecomoda franchise in South and Central America, and Betty accepts. Betty suggests a change of strategy, aiming to design designs for ugly women, and challenges Hugo to design for the barracks.

The board accepts Betty's proposal. Patricia becomes Marcela's secretary, and Aura Maria becomes Betty's secretary. Mariana moves to reception.

Betty sends Armando's personal belongings and the bag containing his cards with Freddy.

Marcela's jealousy flares again. Betty and Nicolás go to a car dealership to buy a car. Hugo sends Inesita to bring the headquarters to take measurements for her new clothes, which offends some. Sandra finds the folder with Mario and Armando's letter.

The barracks read Armando's letter and worry about what might have happened. Betty buys a car.

Betty and Armando go their separate ways. Betty asks what time the garbage collection takes place.

Armando gets out to get the bag and stops the employees from taking the trash away.

Marcela and Betty discuss the pact, and Betty defends herself. Meanwhile, Armando hides the bag in his office. Daniel invites Betty to lunch the next day. Nicolás confronts Daniel to defend Patricia.

Betty arrives at Ecomoda with the new car. Betty gathers the headquarters in the meeting room to explain the conversation in the bathroom. They confess, and Betty prepares to tell them everything.

Betty tells the headquarters everything and asks them to remain silent. Catalina Ángel arrives at the Ecomoda committee and tells everyone that she was the advisor for Betty's change.

Armando announces a trip to the committee. Marcela asks Catalina to talk. Catalina tells Betty about Michel.

Catalina confronts Marcela and tells her she'll support Betty in everything. Patricia asks Betty for a raise, but Betty refuses.

Nicolás leaves his cell phone with Patricia. Betty tells the station all about her trip to Cartagena and her outings with Michel; Mariana reads her letters. Betty arrives at the restaurant for her meeting with Daniel.

Betty defends herself against Daniel and denies him the advance. Armando is waiting for her outside the restaurant, causing a jealous scene.

The counselor arrives at Ecomoda to give the headquarters a makeover. Betty finds Patricia with Nicolás's cell phone. Patricia yells at Betty and tells her to keep her company, that she's leaving.

Betty scolds Nicolás for lending Patricia his cell phone. A month later, Nicolás arrives with Patricia's car. Armando shows up at Ecomoda.

Armando goes to Betty's office and gives her a report of his trip very coldly, Betty is bewildered.

Armando flirtatiously greets the Venezuelan woman, and the barracks tell Betty it was a Caracas romance. The barracks plan to spy on her.

Armando discovers Patricia and Bertha spying on him with the Venezuelan woman. Betty scolds Aura Maria for spying on Armando.

The barracks head to the garage to get ready for the evening. Alejandra asks Armando to introduce her to Betty.

Catalina welcomes the international guests, Betty gives them interviews on the news before the parade. Marcela arrives at Ecomoda furious when Patricia is about to leave with Nicolás.

Armando arrives with Alejandra and meets with Betty. Armando learns that Betty was in Cartagena from Claudia Helena, who is talking about French.

Hugo tells reporters he's going to resign. Kike Santander appears.

Betty asks Armando to do the presentation of the fashion show, but he insists that she do it because it is her collection.

Marcela hides when she sees Armando with the Venezuelan woman. Hugo announces a surprise.

Mario Duarte appears at the end of the parade. Chilean television interviews the barracks, and Freddy ruins Aura Maria's plan with the Chilean. Catalina approaches Betty, who is very sad.

Betty confesses to Catalina that it hurts her that Armando is acting like he's gone to the Venezuelan woman. Armando takes the Venezuelan woman to the hotel and tells her he'll solve the problem with Marcela. Marcela welcomes Armando with the couple's belongings in the living room, and he tries to talk her into ending the relationship on good terms.

Armando tells Marcela that he'll be left alone. Marcela lets him go and cries. The barracks ask Bertha to spy on Marcela to hear what she tells Patricia.

Bertha tells the barracks, and they tell Betty, that Armando broke up with Marcela. Nicolás offers Patricia a ride to and from the house.

Alejandra arrives at Ecomoda to sign the contract and Betty calls Marcela and Armando to the meeting room, Nicolás hands her the contracts.

Alejandra reveals her love for Betty to Armando and asks him to seek forgiveness. Nicolás takes Patricia out to lunch; the barracks console Betty. Betty admits that she's hurting from losing Armando.

The station finds Patricia arriving with Nicolás in the car, her hair wet. Nicolás tries to explain what happened, but no one believes him. Michel appears at Ecomoda.

The barracks are stunned to see Michel. Armando tells Calderón that he had nothing to do with the Venezuelan woman and that he's going to win Betty back. Betty is solving a problem, and no one can find her.

Armando recalls the models' comment about the Frenchman Betty was with in Cartagena. Michel greets Betty with a smitten look. Patricia flirts with the Frenchman. The squad gathers in the bathroom to discuss Michel's arrival, and Armando enters the bathroom.

Michel suggests that Betty move to Cartagena to manage a restaurant chain he's going to open. Armando enters the office and takes the photo of Betty and the Frenchman out of his wallet. He also takes out the diary and reads excerpts from the beginning where Betty silently admired and loved him. Betty enters and introduces him to Michel.

Betty introduces Michel to Armando, who treats him angrily. Michel insists that Betty accept the offer to work with him in Cartagena. Armando takes Betty's diary to the office and begins to read it all with tears streaming down his face.

Michel formally proposes the position in Cartagena to Betty, and Catalina tries to persuade her to accept. Armando cries desperately upon reading about Betty's betrayal. Betty tells Nicolás that she's resigning from Ecomoda.

Armando is a mess at the office, and Mario tries to comfort him. Julia invites Michel over. The barracks are very sad when Betty tells them Michel's proposal to take her to Cartagena.

The barracks tells Armando that Betty is leaving Ecomoda to work with the Frenchman. Armando hits Mario when he finds him reading Betty's diary. Mario resigns from the company, and Betty takes Michel home. Armando reads in Betty's diary that she still loves him.

Hermes talks with Michel. Inesita secretly tells Armando where Betty is. Armando promises the barracks that he won't let Betty leave Ecomoda.

Betty accepts Michel's invitation to go out to a bar and have a few drinks.

Armando arrives at Betty's house and begs Julia to forgive him, and she tells him the name of the bar where they are.

Armando convinces Montaner, and he sings a bolero to Betty. Betty rejects Armando.

Julia tries to convince Betty to give Armando another chance. Betty arrives at Ecomoda the next day and writes her resignation letter. The headquarters is alarmed, but Betty remains adamant. Marcela and Betty talk, and Betty tells her that her resignation is irrevocable.

Armando asks Betty not to resign, that he won't bother her anymore since he's leaving the country today.

Daniel decides to assume the presidency, but Marcela and Margarita disagree. Marcela asks Armando to stay on as president, but he declines.

Marcela tells Betty everything she's learned about Armando's love for her and asks her to reconsider her decision to leave Ecomoda. Armando says goodbye to the headquarters. The headquarters enters Betty's office and tells her that Armando has left.

Daniel tells Betty that he plans to liquidate Ecomoda, which makes Betty and the headquarters go to look for Armando, who is in the production area saying goodbye to the staff.

Betty publicly forgives Armando, and they kiss, amid applause from the entire production staff and headquarters. Aura Maria and Freddy reconcile. Armando and Betty remove Daniel from Ecomoda. Hermes demands Betty explain her behavior.

Armando officially asks Betty for her hand in marriage. Margarita tells them she's organizing their wedding. Marcela leaves Ecomoda, followed by Patricia. Nicolás is very sad.

Armando and Betty get married, and Armando Manzanero sings "Somos Novios" to them. This story ends with the birth of a baby girl.
