The Master of Tai Chi

When FUNG-NIN knew that MA has been caught, he found that CHING has also arrived the Capital City. Four of them tried to figure out the plan. KWAI planned to seek help from the Vice Mayor TSUI KONG. In fact, KWAI has engaged to KONG’s son. KONG refused and wanted to terminate the engagement. WAI proposed to help KWAI but hinted to have sexual relationship with her. KWAI and KIU left in a huff. Mayor CHEUK visited PAK in the campus of Black Dragon Clique as the Russian boxer would like to challenge the local martial arts players. Mayor sought help from PAK but PAK recommended having the challenge to YUET. KWAI visited WAI and has almost being raped by him. FUNG-NIN found YUET for his help. In fact YUET was an old friend of the Mayor. MA was then granted for amnesty but the condition was to defeat the Russian boxer. MA was then released and met YUET who abandoned him years ago.… ...

Having met with CHING, FUNG-NIN stayed with her all the time and it made KIU feeling bad about it. When FUNG-NIN was sleeping with KIU, CHING broke into the room. MA brought the medicine for KWAI and witnessed FUNG-NIN arguing with CHING on the bridge. MA then beat FUNG-NIN. CHING, KIU and FUNG-NIN headed back to the motel but all remained speechless. CHING decided to end their relationship. YUET held CHING back when she was going to say goodbye to MA. He asked her to help arranging meal for the group. YUET trained MA’s kung fu by using bean curbs but it didn’t work well. The Russian boxer met with KONG and WAI and requested them to test the strength of YUEN and MA. They found that YUET was so good at kung fu. Having inspired by CHING, MA could finally manipulate with flexibility. In order to let the Russian Boxer won the fight, KONG sent somebody to plot against MA.… ...

During the fighting contest, everybody encouraged MA. MA tried to win by his physical strength but turned out to be failed. MA memorized what was taught by his teacher YUET while seeing the Russian boxer’s exultation. He then used Tai Chi to defeat the competitor. FUNG-NIN told KIU that he wanted to have a successful career when KIU asked him to bring her back to his hometown. KIU then decided to use her savings to open a restaurant. KONG told WAI that he’s worrying about the problem of having descendents as his son was suffered from tuberculosis. WAI suggested resuming KWAI’s engagement. They brought wedding gifts and made a proposal to KWAI during the opening ceremony of the restaurant of FUNG-NIN and KIU. KWAI visited MA when he’s practicing kung fu. She told MA about the marriage but in return it’s a “congratulations”. KWAI took KIU’s advice and decided to escape from the Capital City for a while.… ...

After meeting the beggar CHUEN, MA asked YUET about Divine Skills Camp as mentioned by CHUEN as well as his life in the past. YUET revealed the heroic deeds of MA’s father – MO CHIK. YUET invited CHUEN to stay in the temple. The Martial Arts Learning Contest was hosted by the Capital City. PAK’s team hasn’t chosen a representative for the contest yet. KWAI escaped to Shanghai and found her wallet missing. When she’s arguing with the shop owner, she fell down and passes out. TUEN HIU-SING found a girl lying on the brushwood and sent her to the hospital. The doctor diagnosed that she couldn’t speak and lost her memory as well. SING was the only son of PAK. His family told him that his father is suffering from serious illness. Though he knew that was a lie, he has yet decided to go back to the Capital City. KWAI had no where to go and met SING in the street. SING decided to bring her to the Capital City.… ...

Members in Black Dragon Clique have discordant opinions about choice of fighting representative. The youngest uncle wanted to nominate MA-KEUNG but the second eldest uncle TSUN wanted to nominate SING. In order to let KWAI staying there, SING accepted to be the representative. During the contest, SING defeated all his competitors by his excellent kung fu and MA couldn’t forbear from challenging him. When KWAI saw them both fighting, she escaped from the venue. SING gave up the contest chasing after her. The martial arts expert LIU YAU-NGO wanted to challenge YUET in the temple. NGO was the foster-brother of WAI. He promised to help WAI after defeating over YUET. KIU met KWAI in the street but was discovered by WAI when she wanted to recognize KWAI. Fortunately SING was there and he claimed that KWAI was his cousin. MA challenged SING. KEUNG sent a team to ambush MA when he knew that. MA was angry.… ...

PAK suddenly fell down when fighting with MA. KEUNG and SING thought that MA is the murderer chasing him hardly. With the help of YUET and WAI, MA could finally escape. Having diagnosed by doctor, the cause of PAK’s death was heart failure. YUET found TSUN’s kung fu was similar to the assassinator to MO’s family. Black Dragon Clique has had internal conflicts right after PAK’s passed-away. SING felt bad for failing to meet his dad’s expectation. KWAI encouraged him. In the funeral of PAK, TSUN requested SING to promise to glorify Black Dragon Clique. As the youngest uncle was not fine with having SING to be the leader, they finally decided to choose the successor by fighting competition. In order to have SING to be the successor according PAK’s will, TSUN convinced KEUNG to cheat.

In order to repay the kindness of PAK, KEUNG pretended being defeated by SING. KIU asked FUNG-NIN to visit KWAI when she knew that SING has become the successor. SING and TSUN then misunderstood FUNG-NIN. FUNG-NIN told YUET that TSUN was interested in the jade that FUNG-NIN was wearing. In fact TSUN’s daughter also carried this kind of jade. YUET found out that CHING might be TSUN’s daughter after investigation. On the other hand, in order to let MA putting down his hatred, YUET requested CHING’s assistance by showing MA a play of murdering. MA wanted to revenge in the first place but CHING stopped him encouraging him to practice the kung-fu taught by YUET. MA agreed and he even imagined that he’s practicing with his father. It gave him a speedy advancement. MAI arrived the Capital City and found out FUNG-NIN and KIU were together. TSUN cheated KWAI that SING was looking for her and brought her to the pathless mountain.… ...

CHING comforted KWAI while she was staying in MA’s temple in view of her memory lost, her sadness. However, KWAI left finally. Her memory was recovered after she fell down from the slope. On the other hand, CHING told MA her feeling after knowing MA’s intention to poison YUET. SING finally found KWAI but KWAI didn’t tell him of her memory recovery. In order to lessen MA’s hatred, YUET decided to train up MA by actual combat. KWAI finally recognized KIU but she was then kidnapped by WAI and was brought to TSU’s house. SING requested every one to help saving KWAI. With the support by KEUNG, SING brought the team to TSU’s house requesting them to release KWAI. Fortunately TSU’s son released KWAI and announced the termination of their engagement. During the training, YUET was exhausted and passed-out in order to save MA. However, MA was approaching YUET when he woke up……

YUET pretended taking a nap after curing MA. MA wanted to kill him but was hardhearted enough when he captured the memory about their past. During their fight, YUET accidentally fell down from the cliff. MA tried to save him but YUET finally sacrificed, as he didn’t want to encumber MA. According to YUET’s will, CHING told MA the truth. MA was then totally collapsed. On the other hand, KONG and WAI wanted to weaken Mayor CHEUK’s power for his opposition of Russian’s mine exploiting plan, which was colluded with KONG and WAI. WAI sent all disciples of Black Dragon Clique into jail. TSUN blamed KWAI. Thus, KWAI requested to talk with WAI afterwards. KWAI threatened him with her death and explained with the conflicts of interests. Finally the disciples were released. In order to convince TSUN letting her to stay at the campus, KWAI persuaded SING to fight with MA.

SING has KWONG to send a letter of challenge to MA in order to regain the fame of Black Dragon Clique. However, MA refused the challenge in the first place but he then accepted after criticizing by NGO. CHING related the truth of YUET’s death to KWAI as she wanted to stop MA from the fight. However, KWAI distorted the message. SING thought MA has murdered YUET. During their fight, both of them were of approximately equal strength. MA was distracted when somebody was blaming him murdering YUET. Eventually MA was defeated by SING. With WAI’s arrangement, NGO met KONG discussing how to incriminate the Mayor. They wanted to bring MA to the martial arts association in the Capital City, which consequently brought the Mayor with a big trouble. NGO finally accepted. On the other hand, with CHING’s comfort, MA decided to quit from the arena of martial arts.

With NGO’s encouragement, MA stepped back to the arena. By using MAI’s illness as an excuse, FUNG-NIN asked CHING to help in his restaurant that gave KIU a bad feeling. With CHING’s absence, MA then realized he has kind of feeling towards CHING. Having met with CHUEN, FUNG-NIN interrogated MA and beat him badly. NGO helped MA to practice Tai Chi contributing to his big improvement. NGO suggested MA to found a campus for apprentices. MA discussed with CHING and gained her support. In fact, KONG arranged it. In the Mid-Autumn fiesta, NGO nominated MA to join the Huan Meng Association that has discontented the people. On the other hand, CHEUK supported MA to establish his own clique. KONG is triumphant. TSUN inferred MA was MO CHIK’s son by seeing the medal of Divine Skills Camp left by MA. He then kidnapped CHING to further investigate.

CHUEN has been injured when saving CHING but he found out they’re TSUN’s people. CHUEN went visiting TSUN telling him that CHING was his daughter. Having noted CHING being kidnapped, MA found himself stupefaction. Luckily NGO offered him advice. TSUN proved that CHING was his daughter. In order to cover the secret, he killed CHUEN and pretended that he has saved CHING. SHIBASAKI KATSUHIRO – a schoolmate of SING has arrived the Capital City. KATSUHIRO’s father has assigned KATSUHIRO to establish a karate campus. As some of the disciples started learning karate at KATSUHIRO’s campus, it created conflicts of interests between different cliques. Eventually it leaded to a fighting contest with SING and KATSUHIRO being the representatives. SING has won. On the other hand, TSUN approached CHING and KWONG misconceived that they’re in a love relationship. Finally TSUN revealed his true identity……

KWAI met KWONG and found out SING’s intention for making a marriage proposal to her. KWAI went visiting MA at the temple in order to escape from SING’s proposal. By her requests to CHING, MA agreed to help recover her memory in accompany with KWAI. It halted SING from making the proposal. MA decided to establish the “Shan Yuet Tai Chi Society”. FUNG-NIN recommended himself as the first disciple. FUNG-NIN’s restaurant was destroyed by other cliques after becoming MA’s disciple. NGO suggested MA to elect for the chairman of Huan Meng Association but he refused, because of CHING. WAI and NGO met SO HUNG-LING who was NGO’s soul mate. WAI asked NGO to attack CHING, otherwise he would tell LING that NGO has murdered her father. NGO visited MA and found out KWAI’s love towards MA. NGO invited MA to go finding Tai Chi master in Shanghai and in fact he also invited KWAI to join.

Arranged by NGO, KWAI has met MA and the team in Shanghai. SING also caught up with them in Shanghai. It was a real hurt to SING when KWAI told him about her recovery of memory. NGO fuddled KWAI and MA but MA slipped out from the room and slept at the staircase at the mid-night. SING visited KWAI, by seeing the drunken KWAI, he has slept with her that night. On the other day, KWAI returned all the gifts to SING and left hurting SING tremendously. KWAI told KIU that she’s the woman of MA. KIU brought her to the temple negotiating with MA at once. CHING was shocked; meanwhile, MA told them that he didn’t love KWAI. CHING smacked him and comforted KWAI by promising she would leave. TSUN waited for CHING on her way back to Choi Shek Village and convinced her to stay at the campus.

Mission completed by NGO. WAI helped to buy back LING’s freedom and arranged an accommodation for NGO and LING. After CHING’s left, NGO convinced MA to compete for the chairman of Huan Meng Association. Having seen her sadness, TSUN realized CHING’s affection towards MA. Thus, he encouraged CHING strive for MA but failed. SING found out that his disciple has joined the fighting bet. He found that KATSUHIRO has joined the fighting contest after investigation. In order to save KATSUHIRO, SING represented him for fighting. It has discontented the other disciples. As LAU CHUEN’s corpse has been discovered and also, MA has joined the competition, the youngest uncle worried about the reputation of Black Dragon Clique. He wanted to assassinate MA but is stopped by TSUN. YIP wanted to give him a sneak attack but eventually was beaten by MA. CHING wanted to alert MA about YIP’s conspiracy but then was stopped by YIP.

CHING passed out after knowing the truth. Luckily MA saved her back to the temple. CHING told TSUN that she would convince MA to leave the Capital City with her. Finally she has convinced MA. KWAI fell down from the cliff and found YIP. She then revealed all the secrets of TSUN. KWAI then chased MA told him the truth - that TSUN was the murderer of his father with CHING covering all secrets for him. KEUNG met CHING and has beaten her. Fortunately TSUN has appeared to help. SING released TSUN that has discontented KEUNG. He then left the Black Dragon Clique with some disciples. CHING pleaded MA to put down his hatred and promised to leave with TSUN never showing up again. MA agreed and accompanied her to see TSUN, however, they fight when they met each other. TSUN invited all to meet at TAI-PAK’s grave in order to apologize as well as compensating with his own life……

Having settled down from TSUN’s funeral, CHING confessed to MA that she hated him and couldn’t accept his love. FUNG-NIN has pleaded CHING from leaving MAI’s family. KIU arranged CHING to meet KWAI and their animus has been resolved. FUNG-NIN recruited disciples for MA but the new comers are in fact traffickers of fake medicines. Wah Mang Association turned the screws on MA’s team but luckily the Mayor agreed to be the guarantor. The fake disciples were finally arrested and they discovered that the person manipulating from behind was NGO…… A disciple of KATSUHIRO’s clique was died after taking the fake medicine. Some of the disciples messed up in FUNG-NIN’s restaurant. FUNG-NIN decided to move back to Choi Shek Village in order not to affect KIU and her embryo. SING endeavored to practice kung fu for regaining the fame of the clique. He even refused when KWAI discussed about their marriage.

KWAI wanted to leave for not getting response from SING after her confession of admiring SING. SING then promised to marry her after defeating MA. FUNG-NIN’s family went back to Choi Shek Village with MA’s secret protection. KATSUHIRO wanted to show his admire to LING but is rejected. He found that NGO was her lover. KATSUHIRO was chased by NGO and wanted to escape with LING, however, LING set him up and he was then being killed. On the other hand, a rich man has beaten an orphan badly who was then saved by MA. MA decided to raise the orphan. Also, after being the adopted father of KIU’s baby, MA has decided to stay in Choi Shek Village. CHING understood MA’s desire for joining the fighting contest in the Capital City so she suggested accompanying him. MA was so grateful about it. In Black Dragon Clique, SING wanted to pass the chair to KEUNG but was then scolded by KEUNG.

After being blamed by KEUNG, SING was very depressed. In order to encourage SING, KWAI hit the drums to give his support to the disciples. SING finally put his feet back on the ground. CHING was kidnapped; they did it on purpose to make MA cheating during the fighting contest. SING defeated KEUNG and won the first round. As MA was out of control during the fighting contest, he was badly attacked by his competitor. While leaving, KWAI found that CHING was there. SING did not hesitate at all to save CHING. MA was at ease to know that CHING was fine and he eventually beat his competitor, but then he was hurt as well. CHING got MA a doctor to cure him, but the doctor put something poison to apply on his skin. CHING immediately sent MA to the hospital, but MA was told that he couldn’t attend the competition anymore! CHING begged CHEUK to delay the competition but the other cliques objected it.… ...

MA went for the competition again. Although he wasn’t in a good condition, he easily defeated the Helm of Yiu Mo Tong. WAI asked NGO to help and kill the Helm of Yiu Mo Tong while he was on his way back, then imputed it to MA. Between SING and MA, there was a competition to fight against the Chairman of Wah Mang Association. At the beginning SING was doing fine, but eventually he was knocked down by MA. WAI and KONG both thought that it was the right time to go against CHEUK’s plan. NGO found SING and told him that KATSUHIRO was being killed. He then arranged a witness to prove and make believe that KATSUHIRO was killed by MA. During the inauguration of Wah Mang Association, MA declared that he didn’t want to be the Chairman. It made the other cliques very annoyed about it. SING appeared with a Japanese Ambassador, they all pointed out that MA was the murderer who killed KATSUHIRO.… ...

KWAI blamed SING for killing MA, she then started wandering around in the street. Having inspired by a mad woman, KWAI decided to forgive SING. The next day, when SING realized that KWAI was willing to forgive him. He proposed to her and was accepted by KWAI. KWONG found a body that was the witness whom had once imputed MA. SING questioned WAI, WAI turned around to threaten him that he would disclose SING had once raped KWAI in Shanghai. Not long after MA had escaped and got back to Choi Shek Village, the bandits caught the rich man NIN. With FUNG-NIN and MA’s help, rich man NIN was saved. SING met LING and finally get to know the truth about KATSUHIRO’s death. SING felt lost and burst into tears in front of his father’s grave, KEUNG appeared and taught him a lesson. Black Dragon Clique was getting very busy to arrange SING’s wedding.… ...

In order not to embroil KWAI, SING kicked her out from the clique. SING and KEUNG started to save CHEUK. KEUNG kidnapped KONG and requested him to release CHEUK but was stopped by WAI. On the other hand, KWAI went to Choi Shek Village to meet KIU and informed them about the imprisonment of CHEUK. The eldest brother of KATSUHIRO went to the village revenging on MA. FUNG-NIN was defeated while fighting with him. KIU tried to save her husband but was beaten and fell into unconsciousness. MA finally saved them but KIU was died. MA and KWAI went back to the Capital City. Hinted by SING, MA requested LING to convince NGO to surrender. NGO and the cops met in the assembling place. By seeing this, every body escaped to the campus. SING finally met KWAI in this chaotic situation and he promised to stay with her forever.… ...

Everyone was trapped. LING suddenly asked SING to take herself as the hostage. KWAI and KWONG wanted to save everyone from the prison. Unfortunately LING was killed by a bullet. KWAI was also injured. KONG and WAI leaded the team to search in the temple. MA, SING and KEUNG were all prepared to fight. However, CHEUK suddenly appeared, as he didn’t want anyone to get injured again. KONG gave CHEUK a shot after instigating by WAI. SING was the injured in order to save CHEUK. WAI wanted to leave with NGO to make a comeback but NGO could just stare at LING’s corpse with speechlessness…… CHING missed MA so much. Having back to Choi Shek Village and being a Tai Chi Master, CHING was then kidnapped by NGO. MA accepted the challenge by NGO and decided to fight with him for CHING. Both of them were fighters, they were co-disciples yet friends, have finally come up with a decisive battle.
