Sanma's chosen activity is to catch a weird animal--the flying squid--while Kimura takes the opportunity to try and catch a big tuna. Meanwhile, Kimura chooses to find a serious girlfriend for Sanma. The theme of this year's SanTaku is adventure. Sanma and Kimura go to Okinawa and see a snake show before going treasure hunting in a cave. The theme of this year's SanTaku is "The One" in honor of Japan hosting the 2020 Olympics. Sanma and Kimura compete in golf (via simulator), wrestling, and archery against future gold medalists: elementary and middle school aged athletes. Sanma also wants to create a song based off a jingle he sang repeatedly during his most recent appearance on SMAPxSMAP.
