The police try to keep the case under wraps until they can understand what’s going on. Louise, an intern from the local newspaper, has everything to prove and nothing to lose. Another victim spontaneously combusts: a mother who burns to death in front of her own child. Louise attempts to get closer to Gabriel in order to get information out of him. Despite their mutual distrust, they agree to help each other investigate the mysterious deaths. But Louise starts to have doubts about Gabriel when she finds out that his son died in an arson fire.
