In the Name of Love

HO brings candies to visit the woman hurt by her. When she knows that LOK has just left, she leaves immediately and catches up with him so as to make apology. HUNG persuades HAY to sell her farm by he is driven away by her. CHAT sends people to block HAY's farm with boulders of rock but she does not give up. When LOK learns what PONG has done for the family, he realizes that PONG is a good brother and he feels touched. HUNG goes to steal HAY's pigs but is caught. CHAT refuses to admit that HUNG is sent by him. He knows that HAY is hard to deal with. HAY is excited as her former workers support her to install the manure treatment device to meet the government's requirement. LAU asks KA KA to put on some sexy swimming suits for photographs. KA KA refuses. PONG and LOK come to save her. In chaos, KA KA faints. PONG takes good care of her and LOK is impressed.

LOK helps PONG to renovate the roof and teaches him how to look after plants there. KAI is coming. PONG and LOK go to meet him in the airport. KAI is happy as he is welcome by PONG and his family. KAI visits the tomb of PONG's mother. He tells PONG that they were lovers but they broke up as he had to migrate to South Africa. PONG has already known it but he hides the secret deep in his heart as he does not want to spoil the relationship between KAI and LOK. LOK is touched by his considerate act. At last LOK decides to stay with his family. HUNG asks PONG to pick up his wife's cousin in the railway station. She is a modern girl called MAN. PONG accompanies her to find her rich boyfriend.

MAN is sad as she has been deceived by her boyfriend. PONG stays with her for a night. When KA KA finds a lipstick mark on PONG's shirt, she thinks that PONG is dating with a girl. KA KA applies to be an air hostess without telling PONG as she knows that he will scold her. HO wants to move to the urban area. CHAT is angry. HO's mother NGOR asks HUNG to find a house for HO. HO is interested in PONG's roof house. PONG does not want to let the house but after the family meeting, he is forced to change his mind. MAN asks PONG to go to a fortune-teller with her. In fact she wants him to protect her. HO joins a athletic competition and is defeated by a foreigner. She is teased to be junk. HO is discontented and decides to win her fame back after harsh training.

PONG shows objections to HAY being intimate with HO. MAN asks PONG to accompany her to attend a party for bachelors. MAN meets a trickster. She loses her handbag and some bills of the karaoke. LOK and KA attend interviews for jobs. LOK leaves his certificate and HO picks it up and returns it to him. As LOK gets it back in time, he gets the job. He thanks HO. KA also passes the interview but she does not want PONG to know her plan. KA tells HO the story made up by HUNG. They have an argument as CHAT and NGOR arrive. HUNG entangles MAN but he is refused. HO misunderstands MAN and MAN goes to seek PONG's assistance.

PONG does not want MAN to move into his house but she is welcomed by his family. PONG asks KA why she quits her present job. KA lies that she wants to be a secretary. MAN shoulders all the housework of PONG's house. PONG's grandmother is happy as she thinks that PONG will marry MAN soon. KA does not perform well in her training but this gives her an opportunity to meet a handsome pilot VICTOR. KA is bored with his new job. HO earns money by impersonating a rabbit in the park. CHOI was PONG's boss. He has just returned from the USA and he pays PONG a visit. He is attracted by MAN. PONG finds that MAN is a good girl and he wants to tell her that he is in love with her. However she tells PONG that she will marry CHOI and migrate to the USA with him.

PONG's family have pity on PONG when they know that his heart has been broken. PONG pretends that it has no effect on him. As CHOI has to return to the USA to apply for MAN's emigration, he asks PONG to look after MAN. The love between LOK and HO germinates gradually. He even goes to cheer HO up in the competition. However LOK dares not to disclose his feeling completely. CHOI returns and before he takes MAN to the USA, they go to have dinner and a karaoke with PONG. PONG is drunken. PONG reminds MAN that if she cannot adapt to the new life, she can return at any time. Then they exchange presents.

MAN asks HUNG to give an electronic massager to PONG. PONG is impressed. PONG's friends bring him to the nightclub to cheer him up but he has no interest in it. HO asks LOK to support her spiritually in the competition but LOK refuses as he cannot attend it. As a typhoon is approaching, LOK goes to HO's farm to help her. They work together but then LOK declares that he does not love her and he leaves. HAY argues with WONG. WONG runs away. HAY tries to find WONG and in chaos, she collides into LOK's car again. They quarrel. HUNG has an idea. He calls PONG so as to pay the rent. KA has her first flight and VICTOR is the pilot. VICTOR teaches her how to handle unexpected situations and her performance is appreciated. Leaving the airport, VICTOR accompanies her home. PONG and HAY go to find WONG but in vain. Instead they create many troubles. On her birthday KA tells PONG that she has become an air hostess……

As KA is going to fly to India, HAY informs PONG that the country has a plague. PONG buys some purified water for her but she has left. HO chases after the litter lorry to get LOK's favourite plant back. LOK does not thank her as he thinks that it was thrown away by her. PONG tells him what HO has done. LOK makes an apology but he does not change his attitude. PONG finds that WONG works as a P. R. in a karaoke , He goes to persuade her to quit her job but WONG 'turns a deaf ear to him. HAY comes to work with her. Knowing HAY's true intention, WONG realizes how deep her sister's love is. She promises to go home with her. HAY thanks PONG. PONG bridges LOK and HO by organizing a dinner for them.

As TUNG's girlfriend was killed in a traffic accident in Lanzhou, he has driving phobia. PONG and his grandmother try to heal him but their tricks are discovered by TUNG. KA returns but she argues with PONG. HO invites PONG and his family to have buffet. KA is angry to learn that PONG has no intention to make an apology. She leaves angrily. KA moves out and PONG does not ask her to stay. PONG knows that KA is going to have a fight to Europe. Though it is raining heavily, PONG brings a newly bought overcoat to KA. KA is deeply touched and they forgive each other.

KA still wants to make an independent life. PONG finds a girl KUEN who has got lost. He helps her to find her mother but he is regarded as a sex maniac. KOEN and her parents CHI and WAI are PONG's neighbours. KA sees VICTOR arguing with his ex-girlfriend in a bar. KA accompanies him to the peak and they have a chat. KA has mercy on VICTOR and love germinates in her heart. Thinking that there is a leakage of town gas in CHI's house, PONG breaks into it and finds that he has made a mistake. TUNG neglects HO as he still misses his past. Later he is inspired by a pot of precious Mexican cactus and he asks HO to forgive his ignorance. Love blossoms between them.

WAI abandons CHI and CHI has to work as a sales representative of an insurance company. However she is tricked. PONG finds a job for CHI and when he has time, he looks after KUEN for CHI. PONG's grandmother is discontented as their neighbours suspect that .there is a filthy relationship between PONG and CHI. TUNG finds his work boring and he quits his job. He wants to practise organic farming in HO's farm. PONG always visits CHI and his grandmother is unhappy. TUNG and HO work together to kill pests. They cannot control themselves and have sex. As the boss of the wedding gown company has run away, PONG and his partners want to run it by themselves.

PONG discusses with his partners to run the company. KA accompanies VICTOR in the flight to Europe and it seems that their relationship is intimate. On the opening ceremony of PONG's shop, his grandmother is the latest guest but her presence shows that she accepts CHI. PONG is happy. TUNG moves out and asks HO to live with him. On the Valentine's Day, PONG invites CHI to see a film but he is refused. CHI is impressed by PONG who helps her to find KUEN. KA is impressed by VICTOR and she cannot help falling in love with him.

HO refuses to marry TUNG. TUNG is surprised. HUNG has a secret love and his wife YU asks CHAT to help her. CHAT protects HUNG and HAY is discontented. When WAI sees PONG is his house, he is angry and gives him a punch. CHI tells PONG that she will leave WAI. However KUEN hurts her forehead, PONG finds that both WAI and CHI regard KUEN as their most valuable treasure and he realizes that CHI should stay with WAI. PONG loses his concentration and he meets a traffic accident. Hearing that HO is living with her lover, CHAT and NGOR come to see the fact. HO ignores CHAT as she thinks that she has done nothing wrong.

Without his car, PONG cannot work. PONG worries as his grandmother's health deteriorates. CHAT asks TUNG to leave HO and promises to give him three hundred thousand dollars. TUNG refuses to accept the money. CHAT says that if he wants to be with HO, he has to be married and live with CHAT and NGOR. KA drops a photograph in front of ANN. ANN realizes the intimate relationship between KA and VICTOR, she goes to blame PONG. PONG questions KA. Seeing VICTOR leave with ANN, KA realizes that she has been tricked by VICTOR. She refuses to listen to VICTOR's stories anymore. As the condition of PONG's grandmother is bad, they have to send her to the home for the aged.

PONG and HUNG work together in the farm and PONG works wholeheartedly. Although TUNG and HO are living together, HO is mean. TUNG is confused. HO brings some friends to play in the house, their carefree attitudes are not accepted by TUNG. TUNG argue with HO and HO is angry. HO runs away and on the way she hurts her leg. As HAY's pigs are attacked by diseases, they go to check the food. They are locked in the store room. HUNG finds them sleeping together and backbites PONG lusting for HAY's farm. In fact everything is CHAT's plan as CHAT wants to get HAY's farm. PONG does not want his fame be hurt, he quits the job.

HAY begs PONG to stay. PONG's foot is hurt and HAY takes care of him. PONG is impressed and he promises to stay. HUNG poisons the food of pigs but he is discovered. He is looked down upon by other villagers. KA is pregnant and TUNG thinks that HO is bearing a baby. PONG invites CHAT to discuss the wedding. Later PONG finds that KA is bearing a baby. He is shocked. PONG does not scold I~ and he asks her to take good rest. PONG and HAY work together to confront the challenge.

HAY and YU are washed away by heavy rain. When they return, PONG and HUNG are aware how deep they love them. HAY's farm is ruined by the rainstorm but they determine to rebuild it. TUNG supports HO in her competition. HO is hurt and she has to be treated by surgery. TUNG stays with her and love between them blossoms again. PONG makes friends with CHEUNG who works voluntarily in the home for the aged. CHEUNG suggests PONG to turn the farm into an educational one. CHEUNG is attracted by KA. KA tells him that she has a baby. CHAT is convinced by HAY and he agreed to lend land to set up the new farm. HAY is excited. They invite PONG's grandmother to the farm. Knowing her present health condition, they decide to look after her wholeheartedly. PONG is surprised as MAN returns.

MAN becomes the stumbling block between PONG and HAY. As PONG promised to look after MAN, he does not eat his words and it seems that he will follow MAN to the USA. On the other hand, TUNG and HO cannot accept each other completely as they have different dreams. HO wants to give up her life of being a successful sportsman for TUNG but TUNG encourages her to fight for her future. Although CHEUNG is so good at her, KA dares not to accept CHEUNG as she has unpleasant experience. HAY is a villager but she understands that she cannot force PONG to stay with her if he wants to go with MAN. What will happen to these pairs of lovers?
