CHUNG does not want to live with SUET. He prefers to sponsor her to rent a flat. SUET agrees. LAI questions CHUNG regarding SUET. CHUNG does not answer. LAI returns home. She finds that HEUNG has done all the household work and keep their home clean and neat, LAI felt that she has already lost her importance at home. SUET asks WAI to help. WAI tells her frankly that KONG has secretly given her financial support. SUET's self-esteem is hurt. She is determined not to depend on others. The place where SUET is living is terrible. She then moves back to CHUNG's home. Later, SUET suspects that she is pregnant. CHUNG meets KAM. He tells KAM that her boyfriend, Mr. CHAN's wife, has employed a detective to check her. KAM shows no interest at all. She enjoys the way she lives. SUET wants to discuss with CHUNG regarding her pregnancy. However, she sees that CHUNG and KAM are together. Thus, she does not tell CHUNG the case.

Though SUET has not yet confirmed her pregnancy, WAI suggests her to take abortion. LAI by chance knows that SUET is pregnant. She immediately informs CHUNG. CHUNG wants to reunite with SUET as he is responsible for the baby. However, SUET finds that she has made a mistake and she is not pregnant. Deadlock between CHUNG and SUET creates. LAI forces CHI and HEUNG to have baby. However, HEUNG has got a five years plan. LAI and HEUNG quarrel. CHI is in a dilemma. WAI gets to know a man, PETER. PETER claims that he could secure a fashion sole agent right for WAI. WAI and SUET decide to arrange bank loan. CHUNG by chance reads SUET's contract. He knows that there is something wrong. He attempts to inform SUET but is too late. SUET has already sold all her inventory at a very low price. SUET waits for PETER the whole day. PETER does not show up at all.

SUET does not want to depend on CHUNG. However, she is very desperate as she could not find a job. KONG repays the debt for SUET. WAI works at HEUNG's 'Match-Making Services Shop'. WAI makes use of her position to find boyfriend for herself. HEUNG warns her. HEUNG and LAI's relation bothers CHI. His uncle, SHU, suggests that CHI should try to avoid HEUNG and LAI to stay alone. WAI discloses that SHU is boosting when he is in the single-club gathering. SHU is mad. KONG wants to buy CHUNG's flat so that SUET will move back home. CHUNG refuses. CHUNG promises that he will take care SUET. CHUNG recommends SUET to work in a law firm. SUET does not accept his goodwill at the beginning. Later, she eventually accepts it and claims that she will work very hard in the future.

SUET and her friend go out to deliver document. On the way she meets PETER. SUET runs after him. SUET carelessly pushes her friend down to the sea in confusion. SUET knew that she is wrong. She swears that she will work very hard. CHUNG is touched. KAM's boyfreind's son implores KAM to leave his father. KAM shows that she does not concern at all. Later, she makes use of CHUNG as an excuse to leave her boyfriend. HEUNG decides to move out as she cannot get along with LAI. SHU is deeply attracted by WAI's colleague, CAT, who is very pretty. SHU tries hard to check CAT's phone number. However, he gets WAI's number instead. SHU rings WAI with a pseudonym, LEON. WAI uses a pseudonym, MAY. They chat happily over the phone. SUET is very dissatisfied with MING who is not loyal to his girlfriend, SHUI. SUET then brings SHUI to the pub to see MING. Unexpectedly, SHUI can tolerate MING who has another girlfriend.

SUET volunteers to stay in the office to collect document for CHUNG. Unexpectedly, the cleaner locks SUET up in the pantry. CHUNG returns. SUET blames CHUNG. CHUNG does not want to quarrel with SUET. He wants to compromise with her. CHUNG and SUET become friends. When LAI heard that CHI is going to move out, she is very angry. LAI moves to live in CHUNG's home. Though SHU arranges to meet WAI, SHU dare not to meet her as he belittles himself in the last minute. SUET sympathizes PING. She asks CHUNG to represent PING to fight for the right of fosetering her daughter. CHUNG agrees. Unexpectedly, CHUNG meets KAM's boyfriend who is very drunk when CHUNG is on his way to the court. Her boyfriend even faints. CHUNG sends him to the hospital. CHUNG is late to attend court and makes PING go crazy in front of the judge.

KIN investigates CHUNG who was late to the court, thus, CHUNG is not allowed to handle PING's case. KAM takes charge of PING's case. CHI was attended and is being sent to the hospital. CHI is slightly injured. He takes the chance to beg LAI return home. LAI agrees. Both SHU and WAI think that LEON and MAY are cheating. SHU and WAI comfort each other in the pub. Later, SHU rings MAY and ask her to forgive him. MAY and LEON eventually reconcile. KAM's boyfriend promises that he will not bother KAM again. He even advises KAM to treasure the one she loves. KAM believes that PING's husband, HUNG, could provide her daughter a relatively comfortable live than PING, KAM gives up PING's right to foster her daughter without PING's consent. SUET questions KAM. SUET is sad to see that PING and her daughter will have to separate soon. She cries on CHUNG's shoulder. CHUNG got a very special feeling on SUET.

KAM works in CHUNG's law firm. KIN assigns SUET to be KAM's assistant. KAM finds SUET very troublesome. SUET finds KAM very cool and merciless. CHI intends to change his job. HEUNG supports him. However, it is very difficult for CHI to find another job due to his qualification. HEUNG also wants to change her job. Her cousin, MAN, introduces her to work as an insurance agent. KAM and her colleagues are celebrating KAM's birthday. KAM indicates that she is waiting for a call from someone special. CHUNG knows that the one who is special to KAM is him. CHUNG is very uncomfortable. CHUNG does not ring KAM. KAM is very upset. SHUI eventually cannot tolerate MING and proposes to separate with him. KAM visits her mother who is very sick. KAM blames her mum who always ignores her feeling. Her mother expresses that she is just seeking for her fortune in her entire life. KAM is enlightened. The law firm holds an annual party on ship. KAM takes the chance to see CHUNG in the pub. However, CHUNG does not show up as he is busy in teaching SUET to play golf. KUEN tells WAI her grievance. Though she has married KONG for over ten years, KONG still cannot forget his deceased wife. KUEN is very disappointed.

SUET is shocked to hear that KAM answered CHUNG's phone. SUET deliberately quarrel with CHUNG. CHUNG has no idea at all. SUET decides to move out as she does not want to give herself hope in CHUNG. CHUNG is very upset. LAI blames HEUNG who is so intimate with her clients. HEUNG does not want to give up her work. She claims that she will also do all household work. However, she got no time at all. CHI has to lend her a hand. WAI finds out that SHU is very upset because of MAY. WAI then rings SHU so as to make him forget MAY. SHU insists that he will wait. WAI is touched. CHUNG knows that KAM may affect by an inheriting fatal disease. CHUNG comforts her. KAM expresses that she would like CHUNG to accompany her. SUET moves out. CHUNG wants to see her off but he does not return home in time.

Both CHUNG and SUET feel very depressed since SUET moved out. CHI witnesses one of HEUNG's client is trying to take advantage on HEUNG. CHI scolds HEUNG after she returned home. HEUNG leaves angrily. The next day, CHI apologizes to HEUNG. CHI and HEUNG eventually reconcile. A handsome guy, ANTHONY, chases WAI. WAI receives favour as with fear. MING bets with his friend that he could easily court SUET. SUET is shocked to see that MING is learning how to play piano in the art centre. MING expressed his love to SUET. SUET is shocked. CHUNG, KAM and other fellows go to the pub. A waitress ask CHUNG to buy her girlfriend, KAM, a flower. CHUNG claims that KAM is not his girlfriend. Thus, she is not deserved to receive flower from him. Later, CHUNG finds out that KAM has accepted a case which CHUNG had rejected for his sake. CHUNG knows that he has wronged KAM. The next day, he announces that KAM is his girlfriend.

SUET is sad to see CHUNG and KAM who are so intimate. She finds that the gap between CHUNG and her is wide apart. MING instigates YAU to fool TAO around. Consequently, TAO is very angry at YAU. She proposes to separate with YAU. With SUET's help, TAO eventually forgives YAU. YAU is determined to become a lawyer to show his sincerity. He would marry TAO only after he has become a lawyer. MING bothers SUET around. SUET is sick of him. CHI puts an eavesdropper in HEUNG's bag as he suspects her who is still working as an insurance agent. CHI eavesdrops that MAN has helped HEUNG to get rid of a bad client. CHI confirms that MAN does like HEUNG. SUET resigns. CHUNG heard that MING is betting with his fellow in chasing SUET. However, CHUNG shows not concern at all. However, KAM knows that CHUNG still concerns a lot about SUET. CHUNG hits MING soon after MING has just sent SUET home.

MING claims that CHUNG and SUET have already separated. CHUNG is in a very helpless position. MING admits to YEUNG and his fellows that he lost in the game. However, He announces that he will chase SUET again wholeheartedly. CHUNG knows that he is serious this time. WAI asks SHU to investigate ANTHONY. SHU discovers that ANTHONY is a 'gay' man. WAI's esteem is hurt. SHU comforts her. WAI feels grateful. HEUNG is very angry at CHI when she found out that CHI had followed her. She moves out and intends to live in MAN's place temporarily. MAN admits that he loves her. HEUNG then moves to SUET's place so as to keep away from MAN. SUET recalled the past which inspires her design. CHUNG succeeds in fight for Mr. LUI to obtain the right to foster his son. However, Mrs LUI commits suicide soon after the adjudication. CHUNG blames himself. He rings SUET. SUET is shocked to hear that CHUNG is crying.

CHUNG and SUET have a romantic right together. CHUNG wants to discuss with SUET regarding their relationship. However, SUET does not want to continue this kind of relationship with CHUNG. Though MAN does not admit that he loves HEUNG in front of CHI, he frankly tells CHI that he could provide HEUNG a better life. KAM expresses that she wants to live with CHUNG. CHUNG refuses her politely as he has not yet ready. SUET tells MING that she still loves CHUNG. She asks MING not to waste time. MING tells CHUNG that SUET still loves her, he even asks CHUNG to show up during the contest to cheer for SUET. Unexpectedly, KAM is in the hospital on the contest day. SUET makes a mistake and loses in the contest as she cannot see CHUNG. CHUNG and SUET have separated for one year, they eventually have to sign the formal divorce document.

KAM and CHUNG live together. SUET decides to study fashion design in New York. MING tries to make SUET stay but is in vain. CHUNG is very upset when he knew that SUET will leave soon. KAM wants CHUNG to stay with her as she will die soon. KAM asks SUET not to bother CHUNG and her anymore. HEUNG is pregnant. MING proposes to marry HEUNG. HEUNG refuses MAN. CHI goes to a pub. The next morning, he finds that there is a woman sleeping next to him. He is shocked. He gives her some money and leave. WAI tells SHU that she is 'MAY'. SHU is shocked. SHU scolds WAI. MING meets SHUI. SHUI has already got a fiance. MING is happy to see that SHUI is now happy and content. SHUI advises MING not to give up the one he loves.

CHUNG intends to marry KAM. LAI eventually accepts KAM. CHI accompanies HEUNG to the pregnant woman class. He meets YING who is also pregnant. CHI goes to the pub to see her. YING claims that it is his baby. CHI expresses that he will be responsible for it. SUET backs to Hong Kong. She knows that CHUNG will get married very soon. She is indifferent to his wedding. CHUNG sees SUET while he is driving. He chases after her and knocks down a pedestrian carelessly. MING is very enthusiastic in helping SUET to set up her wedding services shop. SUET finds that MING still loves her as much as before. She eventually accepts him. CHUNG is being dismissed due to careless driving. SUET suspects that CHUNG's carelessness is because of her. She questions CHUNG. CHUNG is very embarrassed.

CHUNG goes to a restaurant which he had been celebrated with SUET during the Valentine's Day with KAM. SUET and MING are also in this restaurant. Four of them are very embarrassed. YING wants CHI to accompany her during the Valentine's Day. CHI then lies to HEUNG. SHU and WAI meet in the pub. They have had an affair after drunk. The next day, WAI demands SHU to be responsible. SHU tries to avoid WAI. HEUNG eventually discovers CHI who has got a mistress. LAI wants to blame CHI. HEUNG tries to stop LAI to blame CHI. CHUNG's lawyer's licence was suspended for half year, SUET worries a lot for him. SUET eventually finds CHUNG at the 'Wish Tree'. CHUNG expresses that he really wants to reunite with SUET. MING tells CHUNG that KAM is pretending sick. CHUNG leaves KAM. Unexpectedly, KAM finds out that she is really suffered from cardiac disease.

CHUNG and SUET get along well with each other. They even arrange their parents to meet. WAI scolds SHU. SHU claims that he also suffered. WAI feels being insulted. LAI brings HEUNG to see YING. LAI demands YING to leave CHI. However, YING is pregnant. LAI is in a dilemma. HEUNG wants to CHI to leave YING. Out of CHI's expectation, LAI is willing to take care YING. CHUNG proposes to marry SUET. Unexpectedly, CHUNG receives the news of KAM's death while he is giving the gift to SUET. KAM leaves a letter to CHUNG. CHUNG is heart-broken after reading her letter. SUET waits for CHUNG. CHUNG tells SUET about KAM's death.
