The Maverick

CHI and a group of people arrived at a temple where they discovered a ghost market, a place where human heads were sold. Suddenly they had themselves attacked by the man in the market. In the chase, they landed in a forest where they found PRINCE BAT.

When CHI arrived at Yau Ming Village, he is welcomed by a series of attacks. In the fight, he got trapped-and was saved by LUI. WI's brother intended to kill CHI but was stopped by LUI. Her brother then knew that his sister loved CHI.

LUI told her father that she intended to get married to CHI and her father approved of their marriage only if CHI joined him as his follower. Yet knowing that their society is a devilish one, CHI refused and the young lovers eloped.

In their elopement, LUI was injured and was taken care by YEE. CHI was very grateful by what this lady had done. Later, when LUI discovered that YEE was very fond of her own husband, she was raged with jealousy.

HOI, LUI's brother was investigating into a murder case when one day, he accidentally ran into CHI and her sister who were just having a quarrel. Misunderstanding and thinking that CHI must have bullied his sister, he fought with CHI and ended up injured. Disheartened at what has happened, LUI left.

FEI, having been discharged from the 'Premiere City' was very depressed. In the depression, he and CHI met and drank a lot. When CHI got drunk, he called YEE. Envy at the love CHI had for his own lover, FEI wanted to kill CHI but did not have the heart to do so.

After the fight between her husband and her brother, LUI left for the 'Mask Clan' with her injured brother, HOI. There her brother was attacked and died. Thinking that her husband CHI has caused to HOI's death, she decided to reside at the 'Mask Clan' withdrawing from the outside world.

Since then, LUI wore a mask but CHI could still recognize her. Yet, LUI refused to re-coincide with her husband. Later LUI took her brother's body back to her own 'Yau Ming Village', she was misunderstood as to have caused for HOI's death. Desperate at the situation, she poisoned herself and nearly died.

CHI mistaken that his wife had died and in the sorrow, he held the coffin and wept. Not knowing that the coffin was poisonous, he in turn got poisoned. When both CHI and LUI were on the verge to die, LUI's mother saved them. Since then, CHI and LUI were decided to reside in a quiet place disregarding all things.

FEI had learned the 'Evilish Consummate' and in the great match at the 'Premiere City' he performed very well. Later he killed 2 men, yet he named WU as the murderer. So hoping to save WU, QUAN approached CHI for help.

FEI wanting to be the master of the 'Premiere City' planned to get rid of AU-YEUNG, the present master. In the critical moment CHI and LUI arrived and saved him. Grateful of what both had done to him, he invited LUI to help him but he refused the offer.

WU and QUAN arrived at the 'Happiest World' where they were surprised to see that all great heroes controlled by the 'Devilish Old Man' were indulged in sex and wine. There the 'Old Man' kidnapped QUAN and forced WU to drink the 'Happiest Water'.

WU pretended to have drunken the 'Water', he has later assigned to kill CHI. 'The Old Man' did send a man to keep an eye on WU, yet WU together with CHI deceived the man and made him make-believed that CHI was dead.

After AU-YEUNG's death, FEI became the new master of the 'Premiere City' but few attended his Inaugural Ceremony which greatly embarrassed him. Meanwhile, misunderstandings between CHI and WI made CHI left LUI.

FEI forced YEE to get married with him but YEE used the pretext that her father died not too long ago and refused the proposal. Actually YEE loved CHI very much; FEI later killed her because she intended to disclose FEI's plots to the world.

KOK wanted to reconstruct. 'The Happiest World' so he invaded FEI's City but was defeated when FEI exercised his 'Evilish Consummate'. FEI wanted to domineer all the whole kung-fu tribes, so they wanted CHI to defeat FEI.

LUI knew that her husband did not want to be involved with all the intrigues and plots again so she decided to follow CHI and led a peaceful life which CHI appreciated very much. Many tribes did not agree with what FEI wanted so FEI killed a great number of these men. This irritated CHI to an extent that he decided he had to kill this man.

WU disregarding his own inability went to kill FEI but in the fight, he got killed. So CHI together with the effort of LUI, QUAN and NGOI decided to destroy FEI and his 'Premiere City'.
